Guest Reviews
- Mercedita (10/5): - Views
- Katrina (7/5): -
- Linda (7/5): Very relaxing - Lovely setting and view. Generous rooms and lovely bathrooms. Some decor a little tired and damaged eg. scratched surfaces, damaged tiles.
- Florence (8/5): -
- Terri (8/5): The room was very comfortable - The room was lovely I was unaware that the rooms weren't part of the main facility. And when there were people in the hallway being quite loud, we could hear it in the room
- Robert (9/5): -
- Leanne (8/5): - Close to peninsula hot springs Views over golf course from rooms, staff were very helpfull
- Wes (8/5): Excellent except for lack food and drinks - Very nice. Needs a mini bar with food and drinks.
No food available after 8pm isn’t good enough for such a quality venue.
- Lam-Hing (10/5): -
- Ashish (5/5): -
- Dipesh (10/5): -
- Nikole (6/5): - Front of house staff are really nice, room service was good. Breakfast was good The room was rather small and navigating the secure door to our door left little room. Manageable for us, but would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. When booking online there were pictures of a different room at first, then on the booking page there was the link to picutres from this room, which I failed to click and see. They are vastly different rooms.
- Pickering (8/5): A most enjoyable stay catching up with family. - large well appointed room looking over the golf course Rooms and buildings need a little refurbishing.
Accommodation while pleasant was expensive.
Breakfast was expensive and average.
- Olivia (10/5): -
- Cecile (6/5): Great location and comfortable room, but poor breakfast experience - The beds and the room overall were very comfortable, nice bathroom and all very clean. The temperature was very comfortable also. It's super convenient to go to the Hot Springs. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. At that price point and that kind of hotel you expect a full self-serve buffet breakfast which they don't offer (order off a small menu). GF options lacked and were tasteless. Plus there was an event on which made the place a complete mess, with queues and cold breezes coming through - it wasn't a good experience. Also our room was in a separate building with very poor sound insulation, we could hear our neighbors a lot.
- Melissa (10/5): Wonderful night - will definitely be back again - Very spacious, comfortable and super clean
- Lack (8/5): Overall it was in a nice and quiet location. Great for relaxation - Quiet and comfortable Balcony should be cleaned more often
- Nessrine (2/5): Never again - Greenery It smelt old and had a bad smell the whole night. Also no privacy fence, neighbours all around can see you in the bedroom and lounge kitchen ets very exposed. Balcony ur basically in the neighbours space literally so close not worth the money no view also shower very old on the tub 😳 not expecting that based on photos
- wayne (9/5): Great location and friendly staff - Great bed Nothing
- Kristina (8/5): Lovely place to come chill for the weekend - Modern and stylish with view of nature No proper restaurant, very poor customer service in bistro
- Mohammadreza (9/5): -
- Irene (1/5): Terrible rooms, outdated and overpriced - Nothing, it was dated and overpriced for what we paid. Location
- Gladman (5/5): -
- Rosa (3/5): -
- Tania (9/5): Very grateful for an upgrade and enjoyed our stay - Location and room The pillows
- Anna (4/5): Normally a good place to stay but cleaniness is lacking. - Location and view are lovely. Cleanliness and hygiene were lacking. Blocked bathroom drains that flooded during a shower. Dust and debris on the floor. Dirty coffee machine that was unusable.
- Advait (10/5): -
- Alana (10/5): - Beautiful resort with everything you need either on-site or in close proximity. Some of the lighting in our room wasn't working. Gym equipment could do with an upgrade.
- Peter (8/5): - Great location and facilities. The bar staff were very friendly, but could have had greater knowledge of things.
- Chon (3/5): -
- John (2/5): the room looked good, the smell was not - The location was great and the staff were helpful. I managed to check in early and went to an event i was attending. I arrived back late and went to bed only to be confronted by a bed that smelt like a wet dog had been sleeping on it. It was late so i just felt with it (it was so bad i ended up sleeping on the floor.). I notified the hotel staff and they took some notes but nothing has happened after that. the smell
- JESSICA (10/5): - The calm nature surrounding the room. The view out into the golf course. So comfortable and relaxing
- Lynne-Maree (9/5): Very nice resort close to the Peninsula Spa - The room was large, well equipped and maintained.
The restaurant at the resort was very good. We also enjoyed the meals at the clubroom. We didn't realise that housekeeping wouldn't clean our room unless we left a sign asking for it to be cleaned.
- Hurstville (10/5): -
- Mary Joyce (6/5): - Though I do not play golf I like the surroundings . I found that there was a lack of information about the facilities that the resort offered.
One of the staff at the restaurant was not helpful at all . It seems to me that he has to learn more about customer service in a hotel environment.
- Catherine (8/5): Spacious rooms, lovely property. - Rooms were spacious and the decor was well suited to my tastes. Well appointed, quiet. The fitness room was average and a bit worn out. Rooms could do with a little update. Scratched surfaces, dusty, tiles in the toilet need deep cleaning. Towels smelt of fried food .
- Lorna (7/5): Nice location slightly dated. - Nice stay, large room, lots of space and lovely terrace. Staff were pleasant. The room is a bit dated. Half the bed was sagging and there’s a lot of unused space which could be filled with some more basics like cutlery a microwave plates etc.
- Adele (9/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Kirsty (7/5): -
- Lucia (5/5): -
- Nicola (7/5): Great location, beautiful views, comfortable rooms - Location, bedrooms, reception staff Breakfast service or lack of, no engagement no instruction, lack of options if you are not on a “package”
- Kim (8/5): -
- Steven (10/5): -
- Green (8/5): Enjoyable and would be back for the golfing experience. - Location was easy to get to. Facilities were great. Enjoyed the golfing experience. The staff and service at Spikes Bar. Too many tv options. Live music on top of this. Too much and trying too hard. Staff that seemed to be disengaged and not friendly, both in the bar and also the pro shop. Customer service could be improved. Be happy in your job, hospitality is simply that! Customers pay money for an experience, not to be engaging in staff that show disinterest in their job!
- Vicki (6/5): - Location good. Room was ok. Food in Pebbles for dinner very disappointing. Staff in golf shop quite rude.
- David (10/5): Amazing place for a getaway. If you wanted to learn how to play golf Aung is a great coach ! - Golf course was amazing. My partner and me had a great time. Staff was great and made the whole experience great.
Aung was a great golf teacher! Nothing to not like.
- Agostinelli (8/5): Beautiful place with very accommodating staff. - Great location. Beautiful room, we got early check in and late check out Unfortunately the spoons were dirty (sticky).
- Chanel (10/5): Amazing stay amazing golf course - Golf course and resort in one place
- Helen (9/5): -
- Katina (10/5): We loved our stay it was all that we wished for! - Clean comfortable relaxing
- Elizabeth (6/5): Great location but expensive for the quality and comfort - Great location, central for accessing all areas of the Mornington Peninsula Value for money was poor. Main disappointing aspects was the hot water was inconsistent and not reliable and overall it is a noisy hotel. We could hear the people staying next door, I don’t think they were being particularly loud, but the room design meant the noise travelled into our room.
- Sophia (10/5): -
- Jacintha (9/5): -
- David (8/5): Enjoyed our time and we are already planning a return. - Loved the staff, the pool area and just the peace and quiet. We will return Bed was a bit firm and the exhaust fan was old and loud. Out door furniture is very outdated.
- Ingrid (8/5): Overall a great place to stay… - Surrounded by nature, beautiful and green Walls a little thin. I was glad I brought earplugs… could hear next door snoring. Also the wifi device sitting on the coffee table was clicking through the night.
- Gekas (9/5): over all my stay was very good - i liked the the location and the green lawns i did not like the out door setting it was not cleaned and had ebs on it i had to wipe it down
- Jonathan (9/5): - We had a minor issue with our room however the service recovery was outstanding! The staff were extremely accommodating and sorted everything out in a timely manner. We appreciated this so much!
- Lliam (10/5): -
- Maria (7/5): - Thourght we were going to have a room booked like the photos shown. But wasn't the case. Room was average.
- katie (6/5): Lovely bathroom, bad food - Pretty location, the shower and the bath were great! It needed some work done in the room a few things were broken
We also ate at the bar for dinner - the food wasn’t good at all!
- Kumudika (10/5): Excellent stay, very peaceful and definitely would love to visit again. - Worth for money, such a peaceful and beautiful place. They gave us late check out as well as room with a nice view as requested. Pillows were too soft.
- Craig (8/5): Loved staying on a golf course. - The rooms were great and the property was a really nice place to stay.
The shower was awesome and the bed super comfortable. My only negative was the wifi.
It was almost non-existent and that made it hard to work, and I was there working.
- Melissa (9/5): -
- Kirsty (6/5): - Raining on arrival - slipped on wet outside stairs
Very windy first night - wind constantly high pitch whistling around the building disturbing sleep.
Facilities rather dated - bathroom grout needs repair
- Mike (4/5): Uncomfortable - check in Seriously uncomfortable bed. It had ridges in it.
Seriously uncomfortable couch. No cushions at all.
Unrepaired plaster damage on the walls in 2 places.
I ordered poached eggs on toast. It came with 1 really thin piece of toast unlike in a cafe where you have 2 pieces.
- Catherine (10/5): Lovely mini break - Beautiful and peaceful Dining finished earlier than advertised
- Anne-Marie (10/5): - lovely clean quiet rooms
Nice staff - easy check in
beautiful grounds with nice views bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean - really comfortable room No issues
- Richard John Haylock (6/5): Well below par!!! - The view The accomodation is tired, room service was not available after 4.30pm and independent guests were accorded low priority in comparison with conference guests. Very disappointing - I shall not be back!
- Julie (8/5): - Rooms were big, nice view Felt bit isolated
- Petra (8/5): I always love staying at Peppers its so quiet and feels like we are staying in a cosy cave. - Room very comfortable. We werent sure whether the water in the bottles was free so we left it. Perhaps more Teas and snacks would be good, as there was no minibar. There werent many channels available on the tv.
- Chris (4/5): -
- Morgan (10/5): CALM AND PEACEFUL RESORT AND BEAUTIFUL FRIENDLY STAFF - I can't fault Moonah Links. It was a beautiful location. Great staff going above and beyond in terms of service with a smile and friendliness.
The room (and bathroom) were very interesting and unusually configured and so spacious and lovely. Nothing. I could live there!
- Alina (9/5): -
- Deirdre (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer - Very clean and beautifully appointed room N/A
- Oberin (9/5): -
- Karina (8/5): -
- Meagan (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Location and facilities excellent - Location Nothing
- Lijun (6/5): -
- Sheila Marie (7/5): -
- Sonya (8/5): Great service and staff. - Delicious breakfast, ideal location for what we required, very spacious room and thank you for upgrade. Happy overall.
- Sue (10/5): -
- les (6/5): -
- Emmanuel (8/5): -
- Mary (9/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Geraldine (5/5): Not worth the money. Sorry. - The location was convenient to our needs. It was not clean. The showers were mouldy and red stained. The shower products were definitely not Appelles. They were cheap substitutes that actually caused eye & skin irritation in my child.
- Vidura (7/5): -
- Kristin (10/5): I highly recommend this place. Happy with our stay - This was a beautiful place to stay . Nice views . The service was amazing everyone was friendly. The views
- Jatinderpal Singh (6/5): -
- Ben (9/5): -
- Mark (10/5): -
- Rachel (5/5): Not a resort! - Breaky was good room was good but bit cold Calling itself a Resort is a stretch! Maybe in the 80s. The pool is so depressing, and clearly open to those that live there. It felt like a trailer park pool. The mini golf is over ground. It’s depressing. Embarrassing.
- Sarah (9/5): -
- Denis (10/5): -
- Erin (6/5): Underwhelming - The location and that the apartment was spacious. The apartment was quite basic, it wasn't good value for money, the bathroom had mould on the grout, the couch was extremely uncomfortable, for such a high rate I would expect a much nicer room and breakfast to be included. I booked it for a special occasion and it was quite disappointing. Even the tea and coffee was basic and only 2 pods were there, which isn't much for 2 people and for the cost!
- Steve (10/5): Really relaxing short stay - The property was beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was nothing to dislike
- Matthew (3/5): A bit tired for a Peppers resort and price - The staff were great, attentive and helpful. The room has hair through the bathroom and the TV screen was cracked and didn't work.
