Guest Reviews
- James (2/5): - Lobby looked like a waiting room. The door to the room did not close properly. Only street parking available. TV in the room did not function properly.
- LeighAnne (8/5): - I think the room was pretty clean. We had some ants in our room though when we first got there. But the beds were very comfy
- melinda (2/5): - Property shows a building, what itndoesnt show it is on a side road entrance, cement stairs going down to enter (which my spouse fell down) the hotel was fairly clean but thw room was about the size of a large closet maybe.
- Darren (2/5): - There were roaches in my room
- Gary (6/5): - N/a
- LUCIO (8/5): - Everything was good had no problems, shops and restaurants close by and the more important for me 10 minutes walk to the fort Hamilton parkway subway station line D
- Dana (10/5): - Yes
- Staci (10/5): - The staff was awesome!
- Armando (2/5): - I was in front of the Lobby and entrance room C01. This made noisy and to and to make things worse the window AC unit rattle a lot not normal needs replacement! The floor had dirty built up everywhere!
- Luis (4/5): - The rooms are dirty. I killed 3 roaches in my room. The parking situation is really bad.
- Brian (2/5): - The property in run down. The room was infested with bugs.
- Pedro (2/5): - There were bed bugs all over the bed
- farokh (8/5): - rooms are good for 2 people. if you are more, then you might want to get 2 rooms. overall it is a good place, F line and D line are about 1/2 miles away. Still accessible. and prospect park is about a mile away. Breakfast is basic.
- Amir John (4/5): - Cockroaches in the room.
House lady walked into my room without any warning.Could have been naked. They had a mistake on when the checkout date was just not a good experience
- Ildiko (10/5): - Its a nicely renovated hotel. Super clean, staff really nice and kind. Affordable and great location, D and F subway near by. Parking is difficult. I highly recommended if you want to visit NYC but don't want to spend a fortune for your stay.
- Dongmei (2/5): not a place I want to stay again! - They wanted to charge us for store suitcase for over 3 hours there. Rude and not acceptable! Breakfast is bad too! Don't have the basics. We won't come back for sure!
- Aminah (6/5): - The staff were friendly and the building was clean overall but I can't recommend this hotel because there were roaches in my room.
- Luke van (4/5): - Very little parking if
- Neal (10/5): - everything was great thank you
- julia (2/5): - The property demanded my credit card information, even as I paid in full through Expedia. Manager was not available. Two Expedia representatives attempted to reason with the property's fromt desk, to no available. They refused to refund money, while I had to switch to another hotel.
- Jenifer (6/5): - The hotel is dated, room was very small.
- Gracia (10/5): - Everything
- Debra (2/5): - My sister has Alzheimer's. The photos are extremely deceptive. The check in desk doesn't look like the photo and has what appears to be bullet proof glass around it. I paid for the room while my sister started to go ballistic. We went to the room, that appeared clean, seemed small and closed in, and she would not stay. The lobby had an old couch. No carpet in the hallway we walked down. I can't tell you if there was carpet in the room. I didn't think so, but photos on website show carpet in rooms and hallways. She started walking the street looking for a car like hers to get in and drive to CO. I was unable to get her to stay at the hotel. The lobby triggered panic. The desk clerk was nice and said he would talk to management about refunding 3 of the 4 nights. I had to have a family member search and find a hotel that is more typical of a nice entrance and lobby. When we arrived at the different hotel 2 hours later, she had no trouble going into a place that was decorated nicely and no bullet proof glass. I made the initial reservation based on photos and I wasn't there long enough to look around the hotel, but the first appearance of the lobby looked like a cheap hotel on the side of a road. I didn't get a chance to see any of the sitting areas shown in the photos. I don't know where those areas were located.
- Lacey (6/5): - King bed and bath tub were nice, but sometimes there wasn’t hot water. Also the wifi didn’t work once during our 2 night stay.
- Richelle (6/5): - I had an family emergency. I had to leave suddenly and had to leave. The staff was willing to assist.
- Neisha (8/5): - this was the ideal location to avoid Uber fees. It is in close proximity to buses and the subway station. I will definitely recommend that you choose here for a quick get away in Brooklyn.
P.S. I traveled with teenage children and I was comfortable with them going outside by themselves to get food. This was a Jewish neighbor hood.
- Randy (2/5): - Place is a dump. Tiny room
- Deborah (6/5): - Ok for price … broken TV … room clean though … just fair
- Rose Sherlly (8/5): - Estuvo bien, pero no hay mucho que hacer alrededor
- Mary (6/5): - There was no coffee maker in the room but there was coffee packets. I was told because of renovations, you had to use the coffee in the basement- which was just a concrete room where none of the appliances worked.
The bed was nice though but I feel due to the location and “renovations” the price of the room was too high
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Basic
- Gulomjon (6/5): - Weird exterior and lobby
- Tiffany (4/5): - ROOM WAS TINY, MY BATHROOM WAS BIGGER THAN THE ROOM. TWO PEOPLE CANNOT WALK THROUGH AT THE SAME TIME. MY HUSBAND OR 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAD TO MOVE IN BETWEEN THE 2 BEDS FOR ME TO WALK BY. BEDS WERE SUPER HARD AND THE PILLOWS SUCKED. WHEN YOU REST YOUR HEAD ON THE PILLOW IT WENT FLAT. WE ALSO HAD ANTS IN THE ROOM SO WE KEEP OUR LUGGAGE ON TOP OF THE SMALL DESK OR TINY FRIDGE THAT BY THE WAY DIDN'T EVEN GET OUR WATER BOTTLES COLD AND I TURNED UP THE TEMP ALL THE WAY. BATHROOM WAS THE ONLY DECENT THING. IT WAS ALMOST THE SAME SIZE OF THE ROOM. ASIDE FROM THE ANTS THE ROOM WAS CLEAN SO NO COMPLAINTS THERE. GOOD FOR 1 OR 2 PEOPLE MAX BECAUSE THE ROOM IS EXTREMLY SMALL AND SHOULD NOT HAVE 2 BEDS IN THERE.
- Raymond K (6/5): - Average
- Keith (6/5): - No parking available as we were leaving a roach said goodbye but it’s new and has promise
- Kelvir (10/5): - Like, management and service.
- Raymond K (6/5): - Fair stay
- Simone (6/5): - The check-in process was very slow.
- Kyle (2/5): - Very dirty! Roaches on walls!
- PERFECTO (2/5): - Employee we're rude the place dirty
- Julia (10/5): - Caring and friendly staff.
- Andre (2/5): - Good customer service, however the rooms are very very small and I had roaches in my room. When I left and came back to my room I had roaches on my bed
- Joshua (2/5): - Key continually didn’t work. Lobby in disarray. Not breakfast or gym.
- helen (8/5): - Location was very good, room very basic, no easy chair for us to relax in, no gluten free breakfast, not a lot of seating for breakfast, we were able to check out and leave our suitcases behind for a few hours which was handy.
- Elani (2/5): - Horrible. Dirty. Staff rude. Didn’t serve breakfast. Worst days inn I’ve ever been to.
- Ana (2/5): - coming into this place was a challenge especially with slippery stairs. Leaving it was also a challenge considering the elevators didn’t work and the fire exits were blocked. Staying in there was even more sketchy because our room door doesn’t even lock and can be broken in easily
- Mary Jo (4/5): - The one thing I can say very positive about the place is that the room was very clean. Negative: elevator didn't work and the only access to the place is down a flight of stairs; one metal chair in the room for two people; two lightbulbs out; bar in closet gone, so no place to hang clothes; advertised breakfast, but there was none because of Covid, but no warning and no discount given because of this; noisy through the night (people talking and some mechanical sound like an elevator door).
- Nicole (4/5): - This location was not what it seemed.
- Francis (6/5): - Ok
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good for a short term stay - Room and linens were very clean. The bed was comfortable and the noise level was low. The King bed room was very small. The neighborhood the hotel is located in is not desirable, however, it seemed secure. Overall, we were satisfied with the one-night stay.
- Aliya (10/5): - The hotel has very good conditions for living and recreation.
- L (6/5): Started good, ended bad - Some of front desk was nice, there was no fruit as told, when i booked i was told i can use the gym, not true, it was closed. There was rotton milk i received, then eventually none, cereal no spoons. And stop serving milk and muffins just cereal no milk or spoon! Housekeeping was mediocre.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Underwhelming - Inexpensive and convenient. But the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. No parking even for drop off. Find your own street parking on a residential area. Had to walk down a flight of stairs to the check in desk as the elevator was out of order.
- Lilyana (4/5): - The cabinets in the room were literally broken when we came in and they could barely check us into our room because the “system was down”…
- Paula (10/5): - The front desk, customer service. Are always smiling, attentive and super helpful.
- Jason (4/5): - From the "Hotel Now Open" sign that was rotting and falling down to the stink of cheap disinfectant to the advice to drive on the sidewalk if our car got blocked in in the parking lot to the bathrooms not being fully cleaned, this place was disappointing. No fitness center as advertised. No breakfast as advertised (just some cookies, coffee, juice.) Comfy bed.
- Zuhour (2/5): - Couldn’t access to the network room wasn’t clean and the front desk charged me two dollars extra even tho I booked the room through an app and still took the two dollars for “SERVICE”!!!
- Besik (10/5): - Very good
- Rafael (2/5): - I stay here very often, probably weekly. This last week they gave me a room with no carpet, no bed or desk lamps, I had to turn a huge spot light on just to see. It’s sad, as I really like this place and it’s location. If they didn’t have a decent room to accommodate a repeat guest, maybe I shouldn’t repeat.
- randy (8/5): - A hotel is okay stuff is okay condition is okay price is okay but for the location because it's far from everything you need to get to, it's far from Manhattan about 25-30 minutes far from Brooklyn, same Central Park, but overall is okay for the money you paying.
- Raymond (8/5): - Very satisfactory overall. A little dirty/needing minor repairs, but was reasonably comfortable and a good price/location. The gym and breakfast were both unavailable though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good location in Brooklyn - Reasonable hotel, convenient location. Staff is helpful & responsive.
- curtis (2/5): Never again - If you like hot water this place sucks and ran out of hot water for hours setting me back. Room was dirty, light bulb wasn’t working, lamp outlet wasn’t working, room didn't come with a trash can when asked for one still , elevator wasnt working all visit which made it difficult taking my daughter outside upstairs with all the bags and stroller. This was the worst stay I ever had and the heater was on and off and not staying on in the room. Sucked because I have a daughter and it was cold. Terrible
- Yosef (10/5): - Best place to stay
- Yanique (10/5): - 👍
- Leonard (10/5): - It was nice and pleasant. The staff was very helpful.
- Yosef D (8/5): - Not enough parking
- Yosef D (8/5): - Not enough parking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Acceptable hotel, convenient location - Hotel staff responded to our complaint about a not quite warm room, the heating system was broken & allowed to change rooms.
Overall the hotel is fine. I recommend it if you need to be this section of town.
- Yosef D (8/5): - The guy at the counter was a little annoying.
- Lisa (8/5): - Good
- Pamela (10/5): - Check in was smooth, front desk staff was very friendly, room was clean however there was no ironing board. Besides that everything else was great.
- Muhamet (6/5): - 135 a night not the worse , feels more like a motel
- Ken (10/5): - Safe clean location in the heart of BK.
- Konstantin (10/5): - Great stay cant complain. Will stay again.
- RALF (8/5): - Parking is horrendous.
- Karin (2/5): - The shower head in the bathroom… literally had one drop coming out. My man couldn’t take a proper shower, and I didn’t take one at all. When I bought it to the attention for the employees at the front desk, he tried to explain to me different ways to work the shower handle to get it to work. Our stay was for only one night, but that will definitely be the last.
- Rustam (2/5): - Hotel was not as in pictures…canceled check in after saw the rooms which were discusting…
- Cinthya (6/5): - The rooms are so small. We stayed 6 days only 2 days got cleaned and sheets changed. The window curtains had holes - the rug was sticky
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Dated, dingy, loud, bed not good, poor lighting
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Like the treatment at chekins very well clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was nice and clean but super small. The location is horrible! The staff was a bit unprofessional.
- Tysha (6/5): - Good
- Rod (6/5): - The staff was really helpful, the bed sheets were stained, no iron in the rooms, not really clean...
- DENNIS (8/5): Ok place to stay - Nice room except it needed to be dusted. There were blood and stains on the sheets, but they came and changed the sheets quickly. Quiet area but no good views.
- Solo (10/5): - Very clean, nice and well organized room. Im very satisfied. Stuff is also helpful and nice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only thing I didn’t like is the street parking, I didn’t feel safe with my car out side
- Diana (6/5): - It was nice to small couldn’t move around the room to much
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was very inconvenient especially if you drive your own vehicle there was no parking the sheets looks dirty the staff when checking in was ok.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff are polite and helpful. Rarely is there attitide.
- Jovanny (10/5): - It was very good they was willing to help and to fix anything that we need
- Noel (8/5): - To small but, cool area and fast in the front desk
- Ruth (6/5): - Room 2 small. And 2 close of each other, The person next door can even hear everything im saying in my room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. I was disappointed that there was no toothpaste.
- NaRine (8/5): - Staff was delightful and accommodating. We checked-in very late, so the receptionist told us we could check out later than normal whenever we were ready to leave. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.
- BT (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful front-desk staff. The rooms are a bit small, especially for a kind-size bed, and they lack a closet.
- pamela (8/5): Ok - The hotel was nice but the parking was terrible . On street parking only . No where to park without hunting in circles for one .
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For the price, being any hotel in new york city is pricey, the hotel waa generally okay. Nothing special. Nothing great. But nothing bad. Wouldnt stay again due to location of hotel, walls being way too thin & energy in the hotel was odd.
- Monica (10/5): - The trip was an opportunity to rest in order to jmprove my health. The hotel was a bit of a walk from tge subway at night time. However the check in was smooth. The room was comfortable and clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I enjoyed the free coffee and breakfast service. The staff was helpful when we had questions. Very clean.
