- David (10/5): - I was pleasantly surprised by the property. The location was very good, the tram stop was 40 seconds away, and only 20 mins to the centre of Zurich. The surrounding area was lovely. The lake was only 5 minutes away, and a lovely walk along the lake, passing various swimming areas. I had a studio apartment on the 4th floor, which was very comfortable and large enough for two people. Had all the facilities, no normal oven though. Didn't miss it :)

There are laundry facilities on site and local amenities nearby in terms of local supermarket within walking distance. Only fownfall is the noise level from the street during night time. The trams run 24/7 and can disturbances.

It contained sufficient cooking utensils and equipment for us to make meals. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect: 5 minute walk to the lake and a short tram ride into the old town. We'd highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Zurich.

- Matthew M (10/5): Wonderful location, tremendously helpful staff - Wonderful location, tremendously helpful and courteous staff. We chose this hotel to get a glimpse of life in downtown Zurich and be relatively close to the airport for an early departure the next morning. Each building (there are two) is steps away from coffee, groceries, and tram/bus lines (blue/red and 912 respectively). The buildings are smartly designed, quiet, easy to navigate, and very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again for business or for pleasure.

Hey cancelled by booking and given my room to someone due to a blunder in hotels.com and I was left orphaned with my kid when I arrived I’m Switzerland touring Europe. Receptionist didn’t have any empathy on the situation. At least didn’t offer me any help to find any other hotel around the hood.
- Chris (10/5): Great location with - If you are going to be in Zurich for a few days it is worth buying the tourist card at the airport as it gives you unlimited rides on the public transit. Otherwise it is ~70 CHF for a cab to this location. The apart/hotel is on the tram line with a wonderful bakery which has very tasty gluten free and vegan options around the corner. The proximity to the park is excellent and it is fairly inexpensive for Zurich.

- Julie (8/5): Great value near lake Zurich - Lovely condo in great location right on the tram line - easy to get into town. Lovely walk over to beautiful park by the lake. Grocery just up 2 blocks. We bought cheese and wine - made fondue! Great stay. Just wish they provided coffee and creamer daily. A small thing, but would be helpful.

Great walk along that road too with places to eat and shop. Note the area is one of the best areas to live and therefor a rather expensive area!
- Scott (10/5): Large and comfortable apartment - I would highly recommend Seefeld House. When we first arrived on our first day in Zurich our initial impression was that it was a bit far out of the centre of town. In reality however, everything we needed was close by, and it was only a very short tram ride to get into the centre. The apartment was large, comfortable and very well furnished. In particular, unlike some apartments which have only the bare essentials when it comes to cooking utensils, Seefeld House contained a compact but very will fitted out kitchen, which was extremely helpful given we were travelling with a toddler and therefore cooking dinner every night in the apartment.

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Evenings were quiet, even the tram noise was not too bad. Beds were comfortable except the sheets were a bit rough.

If I had to say anything negative is that it was not in the center of everything, however, if you do not mind walking. A short walk to the lake and then you follow the lake right into town. It was nice walk (long) but very worth it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, comfortable hotel - We had a 2-night stay here. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was VERY spacious. The apartment had full kitchen, big modern bathroom (with the best water pressure we had all trip), lots of closet space. Parking was available right in front of the hotel for 25 CHF a night if needed. The location of the hotel is convenient. It is a minute walk to the nearest tram station and you can quickly get to the "old town" in less than 10 minutes. There are great restaurants very close by as well. It is a safe and quiet section of town. The only negative comment is that we stayed on the 1st floor and because it was so hot, we would have loved to open the windows, but being on the 1st floor and the fact that the windows opened out, it was unsafe to do so.

- Chris (10/5): lovely aprtment like room close to public transpor - We booked this hotel because of the cooking facilities (eating out in Switzerland is very expensive) and were very happy with all the facilities and able to prepare simple meals without a problem (once we had recovered from the food prices at the supermarket!) There is a tram stop right outside the building that takes you into Zurich, old town and to the railway station. Trams run regularly and the ticket machines at the stops are very easy to use.

- Lai Tung (10/5): Convenient and reasonable apartment - Great apartment with kitchen and equipment you need to cook simple meal. The price is relatively reasonable in Zurich since everything is expensive here. Five minute walk you can see supermarket.

- Mark (10/5): Awesome - Beautiful apartments close to the City Centre. Our apartment, in fact the whole building (inside) appeared to be very new. Our apartment was big (Hallway, Main sitting room, with sliding doors to kitchen/dining area, bathroom and main bedroom). As we are a family of three, the sofa in the sitting room was extended out as a double bed - but not too comfortable for two people. Both the Bathroom and Kitchen were well fitted. The check in staff (lady) was extremely polite and friendly, taking us up to our apartment and explaining the general set up. The Chinese Garden and River Service to the City are a short walk away (10 minutes). The Old City, is a 40 minute walk, or a 10 minute tram ride away. The Tram stop is right outside. The general area around the hotel is very pleasant and quite "up market". There are restaurants in the immediate area.
- Travis (8/5): Great hotel, but street noise/lack of A/C are negs - We stayed here for a week with our 1.5 year old daughter. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, had all cooking/eating amenities and was quite comfortable. Staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Location is great for being close to, but not right in the hub of downtown. The hotel is right on the Tram/bus line, so very convenient for getting anywhere you need to. It's about a 5 minute walk from a lovely, large park with playground and swimming facilities. Also about 5 mins walk from the closest COOP (grocery store). Our only complaint would be that there is no Air Condition in the building therefore windows had to be left open constantly, which would not normally be an issue for us, but at night it is very noisy (we were on the street side of the building with the Tram line). Trams run until at least 1 am and are back on by 5 am. This would probably not be as much of an issue if you are used to city noise, or if your room was at the back side of the hotel.
- Claire (10/5): Good sized apartment - Stayed on business, great size of apartment, agree with others that sleeping in living room would be noisy for trams, but bedroom is nice and quiet at the back. Good facilities in kitchen and nice to have "minibar" option.

- Maureen (10/5): Great alternative to a hotel - This is a wonderful apartment hotel, located just a few tram stops from downtown. It was a nice space, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and knowlegeable. Good restaurants abound within walking distance. This is a great alternative to a small, expensive Zurich hotel room.

The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to answer all our questions and do internet searches for us on numerous items.
