Our stay was in 120 degree weather and the air conditioner valiantly tried to cope, it only cooled the half of the room directly in front of it. It was clean, the price affordable, but it lacked a hair drier and there were only 2 bath size towels- no hand towels. 2 small soaps and 2 shampoo packets that couldn't be opened without a knife. If on a budget and extras aren't important

• paola (2/5): - Nasty rooms, dirty sheets, dirty covers, dirty shower curtains, dirty windows/glass. Room smells like tobacco heavily and there are bed bugs and the counters have dirt, tobacco residue, ripped sheets that have holes from cigarette ashes. DISGUSTING PLACE.
• ELISABEL (2/5): Extremely dirty. - The room looked like it was never clean, dirty refrigerator, dirty floors, dirty drawers. No shampoo and conditioner in the shower, containers were empty. Refrigerator look like it wasn’t clean in months it was crusty and dirty. Front desk never answered the phone when I called.

• Collette (8/5): - I loved the dog park I didn't have any pets with me during our stay, but it was a treat to see the owners playing with their dog. The pool was gorgeous and well maintained, very refreshing. Would definitely stay again.

The towels in the bathroom were dirty as well. If you like taking a shower, I hope you enjoy cold water because there was no hot water unfortunately. Use this place as a last resort if you are extremely strapped on cash but other than that save yourself the peace of mind and go somewhere else

• Benjamin (2/5): Avoid Even if Only Option - Our stay at this hotel was not only uncomfortable and exhausting but also fell shockingly below even the most basic standards of hospitality. The number of issues we encountered made for an unbearable experience: • Upon arrival, our “non-smoking” room reeked of smoke. • The bathroom light and fan were completely nonfunctional, forcing us to use the bathroom by flashlight. • The bedroom light for the third bed did not work. • The air conditioning failed to turn on. • Only one electrical outlet in the entire room was functional. • The outlet powering the fridge and microwave was dead. • The microwave contained leftover food, but the button to open it was broken, preventing its removal. • There was no hot water. • At around 11:00 p.m., after repeated complaints, the bathroom light and fan finally worked when the breaker was replaced. • However, the breakers continued to trip every hour, and each time they did, the room lights turned on automatically because it was a push button with a faulty occupancy sensor. This forced us to get up and turn them off nine times between 11:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. • We had someone knock on our door at 3:30 a.m. asking us if everything was working. This experience was beyond unacceptable. We should never have been subjected to such appalling conditions, let alone charged for accommodations that failed so miserably to meet even the most basic expectations.

• jerry (10/5): - The property is in kind of an industrial area near the train tracks. It is in a busy road, and the office has some imposing looking signs on it. I was worried that wouldn’t like staying here. I spent two surprisingly quiet nights. The road was quiet after about 9:00 PM and didn’t hear a train at all once I was asleep. The owners kept the common property and my room VERY clean. Obviously this is a point of pride. I didn’t do ANY research before staying here. I would easily stay again. The food at Taqueria Mazatlan across the street is very good, by the way.
• Dmitri (4/5): - Very basic motel. The room lacks any furniture except for a bed, a table and a chair. No place to put your clothes and other stuff. Bedclothes are shabby and holey. Room decor is haggish. The motel is located in a noisy place next to highway.

• 25katharinea (10/5): Rarity in Coachella Valley, clean, kind and affordable. - After surveying hotels/motels in the valley the two biggest complaints are rude staff and dirty rooms at varying price points. I chose this motel specifically because other reviews mentioned how kind the staff is and it has clean rooms. And it’s all true. A/C worked great, 117 outside. Very Clean room, bathroom, floors & sheets. Smelled sterile. In-room Fridge-biggest I’ve seen in motel w/big freezer. Helpful for freezing my ice vests. Black out curtains-block sun light and heat significantly. Helps. Safety-no problems, no riff-raff, no dealers. Mostly folks here appear to be traveling through and are just stopping to sleep. Negative- the TV is so small and is placed in such a weird spot, so far away from the bed that you cannot see it…it’s against the furthest possible wall from the bed 20 ft away, hanging from the top of ceiling 9 ft up. So no TV for me this night. Bizarre. I wanted an inexpensive place to rest with basics and the motel is exactly as advertised. Except for that TV.

• Johnny (2/5): Stay away - Unsafe and unclean. First 10 minutes I had prostitutes knocking on my door. Very hostile environment. I ended up leaving and even getting to my car seemed dangerous due to the many suspicion men hanging around out side at 11pm at night in the hot weather. I have never left a review before but I also never abandoned a room either due to feeling unsafe. So please be aware. Not safe not clean. I was issues a full refund so it worked out. Total time stayed maybe 20 minutes. The staff seemed to understand but I’m sure this wasn’t the first time it’s happened to them.

• Michelle (4/5): Night at city center motel - It was fine for an overnight stay the staff was at least very friendly, but unfortunately, the rooms were very outdated. The air conditioner didn’t work very well. The TV didn’t work when we first came and there were blood stains on the sheets they only give you Two pillows and one very thin blanket we asked for another blanket and new sheets, and the new blanket had holes in it from burns.

• Cristian (6/5): - I recently stayed at Center City Motel. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. However, I was disappointed with the noise level during my stay. The walls seemed thin, and I could hear conversations and footsteps from neighboring rooms, which affected my sleep quality. Additionally, the area around the motel felt unsafe, especially at night, which made me uncomfortable leaving the premises after dark. Despite these issues, the room was clean and adequately equipped, and the price was reasonable for the location. • Verified traveler (8/5): - It was work trip and we stayed two weeks. Normally it’s very expensive in Palm Springs but this place wasn’t crazy pricey! It’s an old motel, it is what it is. They try to keep it clean, they took a good care of us. I can’t say anything bad. . It has a laundry room, which important for a long stay. Reception/ clerk was great!!

• Kelly (6/5): - Very average motel, it was clean enough. They do need to invest in upkeep of the buildings and furniture in the rooms. Parking was easy and they had security on site. It was what I expected for one night and for the price. If I needed a place to stay for a night, I would book it again.
• Vince (6/5): Get what you pay for. - Hotel was not what we expected but did the job. We did have to buy blankets since the room didn’t have any and had to get extra towels because they are smaller than normal. If you’re traveling with more than 1 person, may have to fight for warm water. Location to our tournament was main reason for picking this spot.
• Fran (4/5): Dog Show Stay - Sadly not amazing ...far from it ....the two members of staff a lady and gentleman wete super friendly and efficient ...especially ordering a taxi for me ..thank you both .Otherwise both doors ...main door and bathroom door jammed and did not close properly ...bed cover had holes in it ...noise all through the night kept me awake .Bathroom system very noisy and laundry room noise was unacceptable .A horrible experience over all ....thank you to the lady and gentlemen on reception who were very kind and well mannered .

The replacement room was even worse: it stank worse, and the bedcovers had cigarette holes in them. The place is also listed as a Palm Springs property even though it is 40 minutes away from Palm Springs (that last issue has more to do with Expedia than with the motel)

• MASAYA (10/5): Comfortable stay - The room was clean and well-equipped with towels and toilet paper. The presence of a refrigerator, television, and availability of ice were also appreciated. What made me particularly happy was the service offering drinks and snacks, and the convenient and affordable laundry facilities. I was able to use the dryer every day and had a comfortable stay.Thanks.
• Michelle (8/5): Great location but not clean! - The location was GREAT! The service was also very good. However- it was dirty! The bathroom was gross and the room was full of flies. We were killing them the whole time we were there. There were at least 30 flies. Also there was a weird bad smell in the room. There was also no closet or drawers to put anything in. The room itself was pretty and the beds and pillows were good but the smell and flies and dirtiness were pretty bad.

Like black sticky marks etc. The towels were all dirty and stained. The location was very busy with people walking in and out of their rooms, and standing outside of their rooms shirtless etc. The front door and bathroom door were not easy to open or close. They both needed to be slammed/pushed hard to close. Very cheap stay and we only needed it for one night. You get what you pay for.

• James (8/5): - Clean, cheap, and close to where I wanted to go. Drawbacks were extremely spartan furnishing and a very noisy A/C.
• Jennifer (6/5): - You get what you pay for. This motel is perfectly adequate and affordable. That said: 1) We had some difficulty checking in. The only person present was a maid, who had to call someone to get permission to let us in but then we had to come back later to actually get a key (to the room our belongings were now in). 2) When we did come back to officially check in, we asked for a light bulb to replace one of the two beside lights that had burned out. The person behind the desk was unable to get us a bulb, saying he didn't know where they were, that he didn't work there (family member of the owners?). We asked when the owners would be back so we could get a bulb. Answer: they're gone for the night. (This was around 6PM.) 3) We used the laundry facilities. These *desperately* need to be cleaned! We were able to find one washing machine we weren't scared to put our clothes in, but the room is filthy, both the floor, the one flat surface ("table") and the outsides of the machines (and inside of a few). 4) Minor & short-lived, but near midnight a party started up across the parking lot and someone across the street was proudly demonstrating his truck's sound system for a friend. Not deal-breakers, we were willing to accept some inconveniences in exchange for a good price, but for nearly the same price, we had at least 3 other very different experiences on this trip.

This place will be shut down effective immediately at this place better email me back ASAP and contact me back unless they want a lawsuit because I’ve had talk to you later goodbye.

I was shocked to see that they would even put a clean pillow case on it. It should have been thrown in garbage long ago. We went and bought our own to use.

• Beau (2/5): - Limited parking, tons of noise in the area. Loud party across the street and you can hear loud cars all hours of the night. Room was grimy with stains on the sheets and towels as well as multiple burns/holes in the sheets.
• Bil (8/5): - This is an older property that has been upgraded and is well-maintained. Management is responsive. The rooms have been modernized and feature unique, al fresco wall and ceiling treatments. Not only are dogs allowed (for an extra fee) but the property includes a fenced dog park with real grass. During my stay, house-keeping failed to clean my room on one occasion, otherwise that service was good. The provided soap was skimpy and no shampoo or conditioner was available. A microwave oven and mini-fridge are available at no extra charge. During my stay, the TV did not work, but I never asked for it to be fixed because I did not need it. You cannot choose your fellow travelers, but some people staying there over Presidents Week-End were noisy. The neighborhood is mostly light industrial and the traffic on the boulevard was sometimes loud. (There is also an active train track running parallel to the highway.) In general, I would recommend City Center Motel to others and I definitely will be coming back.
• Derek (4/5): - There were two beds, the TV worked. There were only sheets on the beds, no blankets. The room and bathroom were surface clean but not really clean.
• Forrest (2/5): - After my one night stay, across my back neck area, both wrists, and right eye was attacked by something while I slept in the bed. I broke out with big red swollen welts in those areas. I ended up in Emergency on Monday night to make sure I did not have poisonous or bacterial infection from whatever attacked me in my sleep. The itching was unbearable to the point of pain.
