• Lorie (6/5): - Stayed for 3 weeks. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and the night club next door was very loud until 5 am 7 days a week. The music was extremely loud all night. The units are rundown and the property needs a lot of upkeep. The staff was owner was very nice and the area is good location close to everything you need. The price was very affordable.

• Gisela (4/5): - The hotel was hard to find and had noisy bars nearby. Far from DT and the beach. The pool was very dirty. Poor Wifi. and limited TV channels. Bad curtains, no shampoo/conditioner. No kitchen facilities or fridge, stove, microwave, dishes coffee/machine. Poor customer service.
• Matthew (4/5): - Pros: Booked last minute. Price was very reasonable. Cash or visa accepted. Manager was very friendly and accommodating. Location was central and easy to get around to restaurants, shops, beach and malecon. Room was clean for the most part, some concrete rebar stains on roof. Portion of roof chipped off, however added to style of traditional Mexican motel. TV had many channel selections in various languages. Cons: Room door lock was loose however was functional. Main lamp had no bulb. One bedside lamp bulb burnt out, enough working lights to serve its purpose. Air conditioning did not work. Shower drain backed up, must be clogged further in drain. Pool is not filtered properly, only receives sun a couple hours a day due to layout within complex. Pool bathroom could use some minor repairs. Some slight late evening noise from bar two doors down but fan function on broken AC drowned the noise out. No smart tv’s for Netflix, Prime etc.

Las habitación estaba en buen estado y limpia. La relación del costo por el servicio de la habitación está súper bien. Hay cochera y alberca. La mayoría de los huéspedes que estaban en el hotel eran extranjeros y eran tranquilos y respetuosos. La ubicación está muy bien, casi sobre la avenida principal. Si lo recomiendo!

The only negative point to know is there is a noisy discothec and a striper club very close. It was not a problem for me but it's noisy all night long. There is a huge grocery Soriana just the other side of the main road 30 minutes walk to the Malecon. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Bus Combi pass all days long at 2 minutes walk. When I will go back in Puerto I will stop there for sure

The hotel is in a great central location 20 minutes walking to the ocean, offers free parking, a pool, a/c, and is a smaller, quieter place to stay. The decor is pretty and the outdoor courtyard a quiet place to be. I have stayed here a few times and it has always been great.

• Eduardo (8/5): Fair price - This hotel is well located, across another Major Hotel, so access to beach is quite close. Overall is ok, you get the basics in a clean environment for a cheap price. It's not so near from downtown but is not so far as well, a 25 minute walk will take you to the malecon. There are some things to be improved like providing basic cluttery, shampoo or allowing you to use the printer. I would stay here again if prices don't drop nearer from downtown.

I left the maid money the next day and they made the bed but did not change the sheets. The pool is too dirty to swim in. There is no shampoo. When I could get the remote to work, the a/c was good.
• XMora (4/5): Not recommended, run down and dirty. - I booked this hotel in a hurry and unfortunately our stay here was extremely disappointing. The location is ok it is a safe area and it is next to a Gentlemen's Club. The rooms are very dirty and are in need of major remodeling. The location is somewhat on the outskirts of the Malecon but still within 15-20 minutes walking distance of the Malecon shops and restaurants. There is a Mega grocery store across the street like a small Walmart. The staff is friendly but other than that there is nothing good about this hotel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Secured parking!! - Hotel is quaint and comfortable. Pool could use a cleaning but I absolutely loved the secured parking. Parking on the street with foreign plates can be stressful.
• Senior female (8/5): Location, general set-up of hotel are great - I was not happy that I had to pay in pesos as my stay was quite a bit more money than what was listed on Expedia's web-site. However, I did enjoy my 2 week stay because of the location, the covered patio, pool and other travellers I met. The first night the kitchen unit I had booked was not available and the assigned room was a bit of a dump. However, the unit I had remainder of the time was comfortable. It had a new fridge, a 2-burner hot plate, sink, bathroom with shower and double bed and new pull-out couch. Fresh towels were supplied daily and bed linen was exchanged every other day. General cleaning was good, however the curtains over the kitchen counter were very dirty as were all the cupboard doors and the top of the bed frame. I pointed this out to the management and that a coffee maker and better kitchen equipment would be an asset. I much appreciated that there was ample bottled water available in the common area as well as a micro-wave oven. Because other long-term visitors also used the patio, I made good friends right away and had a great time.

It had all the essentials that I needed including air conditioning and cable TV with a lot of choices. The hotel is old and the rooms are dated, but it seemed to be clean. It was also very close to a major department store.
• Mel (8/5): It's like a Motel with a common Pool area. - It's a 20min walk to the guiet Ocean Beach. Lots of friendly tourists (repeat visitors) around the Pool area on the common property. It felt very spacious and Goodvsecurity Gate at night. The Bus to the Malecon was plentiful and late night service Great.

But the room was clean and the hotel was in a good location near the main hotel zone and public transportation was easily accessible. It does have parking and a gate that secures the vehicles pretty good. First night was a little roundly as there were about 20+ young men that had been out dirt biking and party time was had and very noise first thing in the morning when they loaded up and departed. Second night was good and the male desk clerk was Gould and friendly and spoke English.Puerto
• Brent (10/5): Nicest Hotel I have stayed at in Mexico - I arrived near midnight to check in the first day & staff were friendly/welcoming even at so late an hour. During my time there I would often come back late in the evening and then go out for supper. Again staff were always friendly and welcoming when I would arrive back most nights between 11:00 p.m. and midnight. The hotel is in a great location, is inexpensive but also very, very clean. The room was pretty with decorative tiles on the tables. The air conditioning worked and there was a pool but I never had time to swim it but it looked to be well maintained. Parking on the grounds is free and there is also a locked security gate at night. I would have already recommended this hotel to friends and would stay there in the future.

• Ally (6/5): Hotel is as is - The hotel is close to the beach public access (about ten minutes walking depending on which entrance you use) and it's across from a supermarket and the bus stops right there. It's located in a commercial area where they sell car parts but there's no food nearby so dining options are closed to none. It can get very noisy, I rarely slept well because other guests were partying and playing music until late or there's an alarm that go off several times a night. That was the only negative part for me.

No coffee maker, no toaster, no microwave, no kitchen linen. Sink leaked had pail to catch water. Fridge was ok. Two burner stove, only one worked. The hotel had rod iron gates that were locked at night. There was someone in the office all night. Because of this we felt safe, even though our door had a push button lock and you could see outside through a crack when closed.

• Pickles (10/5): Awesome and cute small hotel. - My stay was wonderful. Do not be fooled by the street entrance, this place is adorable. The bed was hard but I slept through the night. I met a couple of people who were staying there for a few days, they were very nice. Sitting by the pool was wonderful and cool. I did not swim but was there for only one night. On my highly recommend list for Puerta Vallarta.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - We enjoyed this hotel very much - our tastes run to a more authentic experience, in a small boutique hotel rather than the big tourist resorts. The manager, Jose, is a real pleasure. He speaks very little English, has a quick smile, and will try to communicate and look after any requests. The hotel is an easy 10-minute walk to the Malecon, and it's tucked around the corner off Puerto Vallarta's main thoroughfare for a feeling of quiet - very nice to come home to at the end of a day. There's a major grocery store, bank and city buses less than a minute away. The hotel is quiet during the week where we had the pool to ourselves, and sees more occupants, mostly Nationals on the weekends. There's a kitchenette, but you'll have to provide your own utensils and dishes. Beds are hard, but this was no issue for us.
• Sami (8/5): Affordable hotel at walk-able distance to downtown - It was slightly hard to find at first because it isn't one of the hotels known by all the taxi drivers. However, it is at a walking distance to the beach, and we never ended up using the buses. The route to downtown and all the other areas are easy, so it's a nice place to consider if you're on a budget. The people are friendly (English is a bit of a problem), the amenities are sufficient, and the pool is a nice plus. They clean your room daily, and keep the place clean and tidy overall. Our toilet got clogged during our stay, but that was taken care of even if we hadn't mentioned it before we left for downtown. They definitely make an effort to take care of you.
