Guest Reviews
- Andy (4/5): Quick - I expected better
- Dara (8/5): Overall a good place. - Good location. Close to restaurants and stores. Dark curtains were great. Extra towels request was accommodated. Although I’m aware there was an excessive amount of snow this year the walkways and driveway of the property were very slippery. Also the wifi kept cutting out which was frustrating.
- Diane Gerrett (10/5): - Clean room and comfortable bed.
Right downtown and close to all amenities.
- ken (8/5): - Great location
- John (8/5): - Not the most elegant of Motels but for our purposes, an overnight stay, it was all we needed. Convenient location and the price was right. The management went out of their way to prepare our room for our early arrival.
- gzebowski (1/5): - Clerk was pleasant and tried to be helpful. No central heating. First heater too cool, then too warm. Bathroom toilet seat too close to floor. Disliked mirror alongside. Told to turn off heater while using microwave. Bed and heavy blanket uncomfortable. Table only at one side of bed. No such issues during previous stay over 5 years ago. But that was not during cold weather.
- sheila (4/5): - Staff was very friendly.
Good location
Very affordable pricing
Room had a Hair dryer, microwave ,fridge, large screen TV ,ironing board
1 nightstand,old desk and chair,2 lamps
Flooring with 2 rugs
Double bed, dresser, phone ,internet and cable Beds were double not queen size as described. Beds were uncomfortable.
We had No control over heat.(extra heater supplied if needed).the room was
Cold when we got in and way too warm after 2 night stay.
Everything is outdated example. furniture and decor.
Room was extremely dusty,
Bathroom was very small.
Small shower/tub,shower head was old and very strong pressure.
Only shampoo and liquid handsoap supplied.
Bathroom was freezing cold.*we used the extra heater in the bathroom*
The price was very affordable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
- missy (8/5): Grate little place. - Very cute little motel. Brand new , super comfortable bedding. I slept like a baby.
And the gentleman that signed me in was very kind and fast.
- Pete (5/5): Comparatively inexpensive older motel but suitable overnight. - The person checking us in was great and he helped us connect to the wifi when we had difficulties with it. The room was of good size and accessibility and facilities included frig and microwave. The walls seemed thin as we heard the noisy neighbours until quite late. All rooms seemed to have questionable people in them and they were noisy until late. The bathroom had good facilities but some were weirdly placed (mirror on side wall not over the sink). While the motel was in a good location near the water, it was right along a fairly noisy street. No breakfast offered. Typical older type motel.
- MICHAEL (2/5): - It's loud here. The room stinks. What a horrible place. I feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I should have driven up to Bracebridge and slept at home. What a waste of 160 dollars.
- Marcotte (6/5): Lit confortable mais bain minuscule; filage pour tv très apparent; mobilier vétuste - localisation L'établissement aurait besoin d'étre restauré (ex les seuils de porte sont sur le bois nu)
- Nathan (7/5): -
- Randall (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. It is centrally located, close to the boardwalk, beach, and a grocery store (Metro).
Our room was very clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. Basics in the room included a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, TV, and fridge. We would definitely stay there again!
Camera veramente molto bella.
- Tim (9/5): -
- Olivia (10/5): Great cute spot in Orillia! - The motel was fantastic. Perfect sized, very comfortable. Had a fantastic kettle, fan and everything you'd need! The location is so close to the water and many walking trails. We really enjoyed it. Nothing negative to report.
- Alexander (7/5): - Location Overpriced for a very dated motel overall a 6 rating would not recommend if looking for quality.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect and truly an awesome place to stay! - 2nd time I’ve stayed here and, once again, it did not disappoint! Absolutely my go-to place!!!

- christine (8/5): Good value for your money. - The staff was extremely friendly. Our vehicle was too big to park in the lot and they made sure we had a safe place to park it.
- mojgan (8/5): - Good for 1-2 night stay. Across from the beach.
- Kara (8/5): Very good -
- Malcolm (8/5): - Walking distance to the water
- Jamie (6/5): Get what ya pay for. - Was a budget option, it’s in a sketchier area of orillia but within walking distance to some nice restaurants. It’s dated, old and in need of some upgrades but it’s fine for the solo traveler
- Ian (8/5): Perfect stay, close to the water. I’d go again! -
- Pren (7/5): How much you pay that much you get! - Price Condition of the washroom

- Garnet (10/5): - Staff were very professional, provided a bottle of water, piece of plywood for my motorcycle kickstand and some windex and microfibre towel to clean the bugs off my motorcycle - all without me even asking. Very polite and responsive. This property is very well maintained and attention to detail is evident. It was quiet. Lots of parking. Very spacious room that was very clean and well presented. Would recommend this property.

Room had everything you needed. Very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We slept well. Very quiet and peaceful. Room was very clean.
Close walk to the down town.
We enjoyed our time there.
- Peter (8/5): - Older and needs a bit of work, but clean, comfortable and priced right
- Brian (10/5): Maples Motel - Room was clean and beds comfortable. Older building.
owner contacted me to let me know I had left my headphones in room. much appreciated.
- Nancy (10/5): fantastic play to stay - there is no breakfast with this motel but there is coffee in room which is great it perfect the way it is
- Randy (6/5): - it was a room with a bed and a shower. I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid.
- Kimberly (4/5): Disappointing -
- Syndyl (6/5): It's OK - It's a budget hotel, so bear this in mind. All we needed was a bed for one night as we were seeing a show at Casinorama. It met my conditions of being clean with a comfortable bed. The location is great, and the price was right. Fellow at the front desk was friendly and courteous.
The only problem we had, and unfortunately it is a deal breaker for me: we had an empty cloth grocery bag with us, and the next morning, it was COVERED with ants. Which was pretty surprising as it was only March and freezing outside, and I didn't even have any food in it! This will be a massive problem in the summer, so we won't come here again.
- Viateur (8/5): - Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cool. We had to keep the door open so the the temperature stayed reasonable.
- Tracey (4/5): Wont stay again and unsure how it got an online rating of 7.3 - Reasonably close to venue we attended that evening Very small space, outdated furniture, crammed space with furniture that doesn’t fit well, cold and no way to increase temperature - asked to have temperature increased and was told ok but room remained cold, outside space was rather ugly to look at
- Rebecca (10/5): Great little place - Room was clean and comfortable.
The owner was such a nice man.
Great place and a reasonable rate.
- Charlie (10/5): - Ery noice.
- Sunny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cory (2/5): Very poor - N/A The room was very unkept, not clean. Had a bad smell. Did not look maintained. Building in rough shape too.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (8/5): Very good -
- john (8/5): - It was quiet for a Fri Jan 24. Clean and comfortable. Can't attest to how thick the walls were as there were no on beside us. Small, quaint and nice room
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Always good
Thankyou staff Not much
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable - Bed was comfortable. Could use more pillows and extra blankets. Portable heater worked fine, but it was cold in the room when we arrived. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine, TV with lots of channels. Poor wifi connection. Overall, comfortable stay for one night.
- Lianga (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dave (2/5): - Old dated motel, no worries.
Freezing - no heat in the room. Froze all night.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Good value
Good location Cable
- Irina (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (2/5): - Needs a makeover.
- Golden (10/5): One night in Orillia. - The room was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but would have had no problem staying longer. The location was close to major eatery. Orillia just received a good dump of snow, but the parking lot was clear. The TV could have been of better quality, but it worked fine.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Clean room
Good bed T V sucks
- Christine (3/5): I checked out an hour after checking in. - Friendly check in The room was extremely small and there was a strange smell. Even with the door open the smell was not going away.
- Roy (8/5): we would come back again... Thankyou - friendly staff.... very polite,, You could see the outside through the door and the door jam,, the drain plug in the bathtub was too small,, we had to put a wash cloth in the hole to keep the water from going down... but we still enjoyed our time there ...
- Chrissy (2/5): Very poor - Location was excellent; walking distance to waterfront and downtown
- Claudia (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed, good supply of towels Overhead shower only. Missing a hand-held one
- Joe (8/5): - It was clean..
- Wenting (8/5): A perfect motel to stop at during a cycle tour of the Simcoe Loop. Convenient, clean, cosy. - Location was excellent, really central and convenient for cyclists, plus easy to store your bicycle inside if you're doing a cycle tour. The front desk person was great and helped us with an issue with the television. Clean, quiet, friendly motel. Beds are a bit older, mattresses have some sag but not a big deal
- Jesse (6/5): - Nothing fancy, worked fine
- maryrosed574 (10/5): Very kind gesture! - Actually did not stay, but we had this motel booked for a concert we were attending at Casino Rama. On the night of the stay we learned at the last minute the concert was canceled… called the motel and they were kind enough to refund us at the last minute. It was very kind and we were pleasantly surprised! Would definitely book there again if the need arose.
- Bob (2/5): A place to sleep. - The location to the waterfront was good. The place was not clean and the smell was heavy, probably to cover up smoke it.
- Ann (8/5): - Nice location quiet clean
- Wanda (3/5): Poor -
- Roberto (10/5): - Great location
- Jay (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect. No complaints.

- Michael (10/5): Exactly what we were looking for - Great location, helpful staff, comfy bed, clean facilities.
- Christine (1/5): We didn’t stay - We didn’t end up staying at the motel. It was musty and very dark.
- Sarah (9/5): Nice quiet stay - The room was very clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfy. Quiet area . Just a few minutes walk to the waterfront. Less than 10 minute walk to places to eat.
Front office staff was so friendly and helpful. Customer service done right!!
- Sahibjeet (8/5): - 👍
- Singh (10/5): Worth it -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Alexander (6/5): Decent, inexpensive. Good for an overnight. No frills. - Good location...near the lake boardwalk.
Not far from Casino Rama...15 min Air conditioning...had to be turned up all the way to stay cooling.
Air conditioning in bathroom, not in the bedroom.
- Neiln99 (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great and the bed was clean and comfy. The facilities are very old and outdated. The cost was 3 times higher than it should have been.
- David (6/5): It was an average hotel and a good neighborhood - Liked the outside enterence. Wife was able to go outside for smoke break. Tv was good. Small bathroom and tub.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Good location Not much

- Bernice (10/5): - It was a great night sleep. The bed was very comfortable. I love the small tub. It fit me perfectly.
- Louis-Philippe (2/5): - I was told to checkout for they were booked, there was no car in the vicinity. The lady at the desk was ok, altough she could not provide me with the key to my door when i got there.
Also lost 20$ off my deposit for late charges, for being told to get out at the last minute. Not a pleasant experience, i then left Orillia. I don't see why i should of stayed there. I would not recommend.
