• Ryan (8/5): - I was pleasantly surprised! I expected a pretty messy and unclean room, but the room was quite well put together besides a few hairs around. The location is great as well. I was quite happy staying here.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel that may be better suited for locals - 6-night stay. A hotel that seems to be better suited for locals. Room was generally clean with exception to dead mosquitoes along the ceiling. Friendly cleaning staff. The hallways have the smoke stench as guests in the neighbouring rooms smoke with the door open. Wifi is free if you have a Chinese phone number which we didn't causing an unexpected inconvenience. By the second/third night (biting) mosquitoes were circling our area when sleeping causing a lot of discomfort. Dead mosquito
• Naomi (4/5): Grim - I stayed one night on a long layover. Pros: they had a available room 1 day before check in. It cost less than £40 for a private room/ bathroom. They don’t really speak English but it didn’t affect check in. Cons: just about everything else... the hotel is highly misleading and not even worth the sub £40 price. - states 1000 meters from subway. It’s actually over 20 min walk from the subway and to get anywhere touristy you have about 30 min journey and one change once you reach the subway. Same for airport express train. - the area has nothing going on.. arrived at 9pm and struggled to even find somewhere to get a snack. No 7-11/ Family Mart type places nearby. Had to walk 10 mins to find somewhere that sold water and crisps. There are a couple hotels and restaurants nearby but very limited. - the SMELL. Non smoking... not true. The walls have cigarette smell seeping out of them. I showered the next day and still felt dirty. And every time I coughed I could taste cigarettes (I don’t smoke...) - So much street noise all through the night. I’m used to sleeping with earplugs but even then the street outside my room had super loud traffic noise. I’d rather stay in a clean hostel than a private room here again.
• Ricardo (8/5): Good for the price and great service - great service. they don't speak English but try to understand and supoort you even with the help of translator apps. the bathroom doesn't have independent shower. easy and close access to bus station.
• Raj (8/5): - Considering the level of this business, a small box refrigerator would be useful per room. This is especially so in the hot, muggy weather of summertime Beijing. This is a neighbourhood hotel and not centrally located, especially to local transit. Taxis are a must.

• Tim (10/5): Great hotel! - Nice and clean Hotel! The only - is that it is pretty far away from the subway ( 15min walk ) but you have buss stop pretty much just outside, so it's not a big deal..
• Verified traveler (6/5): 経済型ホテル - 経済型ホテル、日本でいうビジネスホテルです。一人旅、シングル部屋を選択。 ただ部屋がとても狭かったです。スーツケースを開けるのに少し苦労しました。 アメニティは基本的なものは揃っています。シャンプー、タオル、スリッパ。ポットもあります。 冷蔵庫はありませんでしたが、困りませんでした。 最寄り駅までは歩いて１５分以上かかりましたが、バス停はすぐ近くにありますのでバスかタクシーを使うことをお勧めします。天壇公園には歩いて行けるので、散歩や観光もかねてホテルから歩いていくのもいいと思います。 従業員の方には、ほとんど英語が通じなかったので簡単な中国語で会話しました。 このホテルだけではなく、中国はあまり英語が通じないので、経済型ホテルレベルの ホテルに泊まる時は英語が通じないと思って泊まった方がいいと思います。 感想として、一人部屋のホステルのような印象でしたが、スタッフの方の対応も良かったし、 ロケーションもいいので、安くて一人部屋を求める方にはいいと思います。

• Marucela (2/5): - The room had a very unpleasant smell, in the bathroom both the sink and toilet were dirty, the room looked like a hole where the air did not circulate, besides the air conditioning did not work.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Buen precio pero... - Teníamos una reservación, obviamente ya pagada, de una semana pero debido a que nos cancelaron un tren no pudimos llegar el día estipulado. Al siguiente día al llegar al hotel,nos dijeron que como no nos habíamos presentado el día debido, ya no tenían habitaciones disponibles, total, tardaron un buen rato y nos acomodaron a cuatro personas en una habitación de dos y fue hasta el siguiente día que pudieron movernos a la habitación que habíamos reservado. De ahí en más todo bien, excepto por la ¡limpieza! Apenas si medio alzaban las camas, claro que el suelo no lo limpiaban y en varias ocasiones nos tocó ver cucarachas. Eso sí,la ubicación del hotel es muy accesible.

• Jennifer (6/5): Run down but ok rooms for a budget - Hotel is pretty run down and public areas really dingy. Room was clean though and had all the basics. Beds were very hard. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bring a translator app though as they spoke almost no English at all. They tried hard though and we got on find with help from google translate.

• Maria (4/5): Not good enough. - Although, the staff were helpful, the rooms we were first allocated were unexceptable. One room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and the other two rooms (on the ground floor) were terrible. It was noisy with passing guests, reception's telephone ringing, and banging on the doors. The furnishing were outdated and the bathroom mats very old and threadbare with dirt. One room was exchanged on the first day and the ground floor rooms were changed the following day, after I'd complained about the sleepless night.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and good - Laminante flooring make it cleaner compare to carpet hotel rooms.. all china people smoke everywhere include hotel rooms but when i ask lobby to do something to it totally no any smell in the room.. compare with the price was nice i enjoyed my stay..

• MR GARROD (8/5): Great stu in the heart of beijing - Was a convenient location close to metro and the temple of heaven. The room was in a good condition with enough toiletries to keep you going. It was a great price for the room we got in the centre of a capital city.

• Tytti (8/5): Sicily - Easy to book sightseeing trips with english guide. Staff didn't speak much english, but were friendly. Ok hotel, big supermarket near and few restaurants. Poor breakfast.
• KC (8/5): Wonderful staff - The hotel was in a perfect location, Beijing central, next door to grocery market. Staff was awesome. Even though they did not speak much English, they would figure out what was needed and accommodate you. The beds were not comfortable at all and the maid service was one of the worst i have ever had clean my room. Not that they did not clean and prepare the room but their general attitude was 'dont bother me'. At least that is how we took it. Always having to ask for toilet paper. I did still rate it pretty high. Over all we had a good time there.

• Rebecca (6/5): Rather Far From City Central But Safe & Clean - Booked this hotel because it's one of the cheaper hotels in Beijing that still gets decent reviews. It's clean, if minimal, which is most important. Wifi works sometimes and when it works it's fast and good but it will also be down quite a bit of the time. Most of the staff speaks little to no English, so a translation app will be pretty vital if you need to communicate other than basic check in info. One night when I returned to my room, a few things had been visible moved, even though I hadn't requested room service and nothing had been cleaned. This freaked me out but when I went to speak to the front desk (using translation app because English was non-existent) she protested and argued and insisted everything was fine. Then, upon returning to the room, I dropped a mug and they charged me for it! Poor customer service and except for this weird incident the place seemed secure/safe enough. But I have my doubts because they didn't want to rectify my concerns. Location is okay but not stellar: it's about a mile/10-15minute walk from the subway station/Temple of Heaven, and the hotel is attached to a restaurant which is good because there aren't too many other restaurants or bars in the area (a few but it's mostly residential area). Not many cabs either but the hotel was able to call one for me. It was close to a main bus station, which helps. Nice there's tables outside to chill or smoke, a rarity in Beijing. Overall, decent price for clean sheets.

• Azua (6/5): Good place but very basic - Overall not a bad place as English is limited when Lana at front desk not there. Shower and toilet are in same room...so you will shower where toilet is...everhthing wet as this is much different from USA. Nice parts...indoor market with nearly everything, corner store and great access to the 60 bus line..takes you everywhere for 2 yuan. Massive park, like NY central park..2 yuan pp to get in but wonderful for self, running, workout, kids and more. Restaurant not that good. Have translator app ready for all moments..

• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel close to the longtan park - It was a nice place tho the taxi drivers had a hard time locating it everytime. It is very noisy but we spent little time in the room. The staff speak very limited to no English at all. It is full of locals and we only saw 2 other tourists. Most of all amenities are covered by the hotel. No need for an adaptor to plug our canadian electronics. Great place for the price. Also very close to the red theater.
