• Jill (4/5): Disappointing - I liked the location and it seemed clean I was very disappointed that it advertised that it had a restaurant but was not open or available during our overnight stay. I chose a property that offered food as the weather was bad and we didn’t want to have to go out in it after driving for several hours. When I confirmed the situation with the front desk person she seemed annoyed with me. She said there would be breakfast in the morning for a fee but this too was incorrect information. I was willing to pay more than some of the other nearby properties for a service that was advertised but did not deliver.

• adavici (10/5): Great Option in the Bismarck Area! - I had a great stay at the Courtyard Bismarck North this week! The staff lady was very friendly and accommodating, getting me into my room early after a long, exhausting drive. The bed was very comfortable and the room offered plenty of space to spread out. The wifi was stable and fast, and more channels on the TV than I knew what to do with! Extra props for having REAL glassware in the room for that late-evening nightcap! Can’t wait to get back to Bismarck and stay at the Courtyard North again!
• Burns (8/5): - The stay was good. My complaint was we didn’t get the room we reserved when we booked our stay. I booked for a room with walk in shower but got with a tub. They did changed us to a handicap room as that was all they had left.

Excellent location with a lot of restaurant options nearby. Coffee, snacks and small breakfast items available for purchase in the lobby. An excellent place to stay.

Routed to some travel agency (which I didn't realize at first) Charged 300 + per night. Realized after they had credit card info that I have been scammed. Checked into hotel and told them what happened, was told it was happening allot. Enough said on the matter will not recommend Marriott as a place to stay. My original call should not have been routed to some obscure travel agency with proper discloser.

Dinner was good, and the service was friendly and attentive. The location is a little remote from downtown, but that served our traveling needs well. The wifi is advertised as free, but is only free to members of Marriott's club; club membership means advertising email, so isn't really free.
• 985jeremyk (2/5): 10/10 would not recommend - By far the worst experience I’ve had staying at a hotel. And that is saying a lot as I pretty much live in Hilton and Marriott properties for work. The majority of the staff were great minus one front desk clerk and the manager. Save yourself some grief and stay at another property.

Staff was always friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. Special shout out to Brayden, Kara, and Jeremy! Truly an amazing team!
• mtheswede (6/5): Ok - Typical U.S. Courtyard hotel. Check-in was swift and positive. Room was ok and typical for the price. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet and clean. The shower was above standard for the hotel category. I did not try the restaurant/bistro. All-in-all, an ok experience.
• 748jayyyy (10/5): Quick trip to Bismarck - From management, to front desk to housekeepers, you can tell everyone here is passionate about what they do. Most everyone at the front desk is extremely friendly and the ladies at the bistro are always helpful and kind. Rooms are spotless and the lobby smells so good, it is so inviting to walk into.

I could hardly endure the traffic noise for 3 days (large trucks sometimes). I asked for a room in the back 1 day before but didn't get it upon arrival. Also, too expensive for what you get.

• Thomas (6/5): - They prematurely ran payment, terms was at check in, the shower had hair in shampoo threads and floor, only 2 towels , and remote batteries were dead,the staff though acknowledging were standoffish and gaurded as if they had elsewhere they rather be , the bistro was terrible the coffee was old and blended as they were not going to make more at 7 dollars a cup we paid the staff was constantly out front smoking @600 for 2 nights was a massive disappointment. The only upside was shower had great water pressure.

The room was also the last in the hallway next to the side exit so it was very noisy with the door being slammed. • christinepA5677NR (6/5): Modern hotel but disappointing - Stayed there one night for business. Modern hotel but not up to courtyard quality compared to others. The TV screen welcomed another guest. Trash bin under desk not emptied. Toilet seat completely up which makes me wonder if they cleaned the toilet at all. Breakfast disappointingly. The breakfast bowel supposed to come with quinoa or brown rice. None was available. Only potatoes. The avocado toast I chose instead was the worst I have had. A thin smear of avocado, the palest eggs I have ever been served and the arugula drenched in an oily dressing all just for 15$ uh. If I ever have to go to Bismarck again the courtyard will not be my choice.
• M (7/5): Good - I was pleased with the hotel and the room. The room was very impressive to me. The sofa had a previous key card, lighter, and lotion in it. So, I doubted the cleanliness of the room, and I felt the need to wipe the room down.

• 801meghanw (8/5): This hotel is thumpy! - This is a nice Courtyard Marriott, conveniently located and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the worst part about our stay is something no one can control: it is the "thumpiest" hotel I've ever stayed in! The hotel was full the weekend we stayed, and we heard noise from every direction -- the rooms beside, above, and under us, and also the hallways. The room above us sounded like they were jumping off of the bed onto the floor, or stumbling and falling every few steps. Luckily everyone was quiet or sleeping by 11PM, but it was a lot. Again, otherwise our stay was great! I feel bad for the staff if they have to take noise complaints all the time!

I stay at a lot of Marriott properties and this hotel is by far one of the most unclean hotels I’ve stayed at in quite some time. The pillowcases had black hairs on them, the bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in a long time, there was left over powder makeup all over the washcloths, the shower curtain had mold growing all over it, the drain was rusted out etc., had I not been with my family and staying on points, I would have left. This hotel really needs to work on the room cleanliness. I will not stay here again.

Great location front desk staff was helpful and the manager was extremely helpful for a minor issue I had during my stay. House keeping came too early a couple of the days and she addressed the issue immediately and compensated it accordingly making me feel like my concerns were taken care of and cared about

We stay in hotels about every weekend or at least a few times a month due to sports and this by far was my absolute favorite. Would definitely stay again. The ONLY downfall, which isn’t even a big deal and I’m reaching, is I forgot a hairbrush and they didn’t have any for sale in the store. Great hotel!

I ordered an old fashioned and they did not have cherries or an orange to make this drink correctly. They served this drink on ice cubes. My husband ordered a gin and tonic and there were no limes available so she gave it a squirt of lime juice from the little plastic lime. Ugh…need to step it up in the bar.

• 274jalenl (10/5): Great Hotel!! - Overall, a great experience. Front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was a nice size. I was pleasantly surprised by the very large shower! It felt like I was at a resort! We called for more towels in the morning, and the staff was so friendly and had more towels at our door before I knew it. Our daughter had a great time in the pool, and the bartender at the cafe was willing to make me something special. Located close to some great restaurants in walking distance. Definitely coming back!

The toilet kept filling the tank all night, the tv didn’t work. It said not connection we tried unplugging things on our end no luck. Went down stairs and the lady at the front said she would reboot it but still nothing. Then the cleaning staff started vacuuming the hall right outside our door at 8 a.m. also the pool is so much smaller than the pictures lead it to be. The hot tub was half the size of the pool so not too fun for the kids. All and all I would not recommend spending almost $300 (after $30) in taxes again. Normally the price hotels said was the price with taxes and obviously it isn’t.

• cubsfan73 (8/5): Great rooms, friendly front desk - Stayed at the CMB for one night for business. The hotel is about a 10-15 min drive from the airport. It’s close to a number of restaurants (Olive Garden, BW3). The hotel is clean and welcoming. Front desk staff, especially the night team was very friendly. The rooms are well apportioned and comfortable. Beds are easy to fall asleep in. Bathroom is a good size, water hot, and shower pressure great. I’ve stayed in a competing property in the past, and this hotel is much nicer. Downers: while the exercise room is basic, the TVs are a little wonky and one of the treadmills’ buttons don’t work. Not a deal breaker. The one slight negative is that the hotel does not have a complimentary breakfast but does have a counter to order food…service at the counter isn’t as friendly as the front desk staff. Everyone can have a bad day, and it wasn’t bad enough that I’d stay somewhere else
