• Robert (3/5): - Checking out in the morning at 5 am, the young man behind the counter not helpful, rude. When asking for a invoice for the breakfast which had been deducted from room deposit would not email it or any help at all. When asked for manager or contact number was given a number that did not work. Worst experience ever with any Marriot group hotel. Will not stay there again.

The hotel is nice enough and modern but the area around it is a hotel ghetto in a sea of parking lots with no place to walk in a charmless city. The bedside lamp was non-functional.

• Teri (2/5): - Was not very happy with this hotel. My daughter‘s room was right next to us, which was great since her shower had a leak and they had to turn the water off. They didn’t offer to put her in another room until the next day. She had two kids with her and her husband. There were three people in my room. So because they had no shower they were using mine. Seven people showering in one hotel room was a very big inconvenience especially when we paid the price that we did for the nights. The beds are like sleeping on hardwood floors, very uncomfortable. We were charged for parking, but there was a farmers market going on, and they were all parking at the hotel so finding a parking spot was hard. We were in town for a funeral, and the inconveniences of the hotel just made the weekend even harder. They did offer to reduce my daughter‘s room charges, but never once offered to compensate ours.

• Omar (6/5): - I was looking forward to our stay! I've always enjoyed staying at the Marriot. Overall it was ok, but not excellent. The staff was friendly, clean hotel and rooms, comfy beds, and good location. I was disappointed that the bar was closed. I was looking forward to having a drink. Then, in the morning I was craving some eggs and we were told the grill was off. It was only 9am.. I had to settle for oatmeal. Lastly, the bathroom lights kept flickering and the tv screen would go dim all of a sudden. Good thing we were only there for one night! With so many hotel choices, I don’t know if I’ll stay at Marriot again!
• trishah903 (2/5): Check out done by someone not on the reservation - Although the room was nice , let me tell you what they let a co worker do. My husband and one of his co workers made a trek from south texas to west Texas yesterday. Their boss made the reservation for them, the room was booked under my husbands name. They used HIS debit card for the security deposit. Then, his co worker got up this am, went downstairs, and checked them out. It WASNT in HIS name. How the heck is that even a thing? How did they let someone check out a room that wasn’t in THEIR name? So then, they were locked out of their room. And the co worker snagged the receipt. Talk about a mess. Needless to say, this will NEVER be a problem again. They won’t be staying there again…
• todm287 (10/5): Checking out review was very good - Robin was outstanding A plus her hospitality was the best and a great smile even better. breakfast and coffee was good. The room was well kept and in order we enjoyed our stay. we’ll be coming back soon. I hope that the swimming pool will be open.

• nofatboys (6/5): Okay not great - Hotel is clean. AC unit in the room was extremely noisy. Toilet makes an ongoing weird sound. Parking fee of $5.12 is beyond ridiculous. Would not stay here again mad there are plenty of choices in the area at similar prices. Did not sleep well with all the noise

• Patricia (8/5): Great place to stay - It was a short trip down there for a funeral for a family member but everyone there was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and I like the fact that they gave plenty of pillows.

• K7277VCpatrickh (10/5): Another Great Stay - Another great stay at the Courtyard in Odessa. The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The room was quiet and checkin was quick and easy. The hotel is also in a great area, plenty of restaurants nearby and only 10 minutes from the airport.
• Mary (10/5): - The room was nice and parking was easy. The hostess was helpful and ensured we knew where the closest parking spot was to the room, and what the available amenities were. The ac unit runs all the time which can be a bit annoying as it heats/cools the room to the set temp. The starbucks downstairs is convenient, and the restaurant in walking distance was awesome. I recommend staying here, it is very nice.
• Stoney (8/5): The location was great but the room lacked cleanliness. - The room was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable.. I really liked the shower. The breakfast was not good. I did show up a little late around 8:50 but the coffee bar was closed, and the breakfast sandwiches that were laid out were cold. They did offer muffins but I decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. The room was not wiped cleaned. the furniture was never wiped down you could tell some sort of drinks had spilled and made the table sticky. All the lights were on as well when we walked in which was odd. I usually walk into a dark clean room. This room had to have been used prior to us arriving.

• Karen (6/5): - I wish there was complementary brewed coffee. The Starbucks was $10 and it was luke warm. Staff was friendly. The lady in the bar area was by herself and super busy. The mattress was hard and the mattress cover was stretched out and came off the mattress while I slept on it. Room had plenty of soace and appeared clean.

We went out came back our room was not refreshed trash not emptied beds not made and no clean towels called and was told that they clean rooms every other day. WHO DOES THAT in the hotel industry No clean towels was supplied Trash was not emptied It was trash. I have never been so disrespected and hurt in my 71 years of living and I did think I was treated this way because I was of another race. How do you a hotel clean every other day a room. Even when we asked the clerk for towels and the trash to be emptied she said she would bring them up towels and trash bags No one ever showed up My daughter went down to ask about the towels she said she thought we were coming down to pick them up. That is not what she said So the question to you when you book a room should you ask if you stay longer than one day how often do you clean the room or refresh the the room?????
• Andrew (5/5): Candlelight living is not great. - Convenient The lighting in the room is real dim. I heard other guests discussing this problem too. The cheap LED lighting was terrible

• Chase (10/5): - Out of the 9 hotels we have stayed at on our tour, this was the best one. Great hotel, bed, service. We were very tired from our long tour, and as soon as we walked in we were treated like VIP's by Brooke. I believe that Brooke should be promoted as soon as possible because the level of customer service we received was outstanding. We will stay here again on another tour.

• oilf2024 (8/5): Awful hotel with a ray of sunshine - The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the night shift girl. Z. This hotel has gone down hill over the last year or so. The front desk in the mornings is by far the worst. I believe the manager dislikes us, the guests. She made me feel like I was bothering her, even at check in. No cold air in room, phone didn't work, elevator didn't work, tvs in breakfast area didn't work. Breakfast for us was yogurt, cold coffee, pastries and frozen sandwiches. Awful. Z was energetic, hepful, friendly and her energy was contagious. She apologized for all the things that went wrong for us, made us coffee extremely early, was attentive and was the only positive person that we came in contact with during our stay. Fortunately and unfortunately. Please give this girl a raise.
• Thomas (4/5): - The property and rooms were quiet and clean, but those were the ONLY good qualities. I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant and bar. HOWEVER, it doesn’t state ANYWHERE on their website both are closed on the weekends. Then to make things worse, the staff didn’t even have enough coffee in the morning, so I had to go and buy coffee at a coffee shop. EXTREMELY disappointed and definitely will NOT recommend this hotel.
