• Linda (10/5): Fantastic! - The hotel itself was, hands down, the best we've ever stayed at. It was also within a short walk to the Floyd Country Store, which made it all the better! We didn't like having to leave at the end of our stay!
• Julie (10/5): Fantastic accommodation close to everything. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. - Hotel is right in the heart of town, so guests can walk to everything. Gardens are beautifully kept and there are a few different outdoor areas for relaxation.

• Robin (10/5): It was a great get away weekend! - The breakfast was good - coffee was the best! Hostess at breakfast very nice. Receptionist were very friendly upon arrival and departing. The hotel was quiet. Location within walking distance of downtown. I didn't have longer to stay.
• Linda (10/5): Dancing in Floyd, Va. - This was our third time staying here. We visit Floyd to attend te Floyd Country Store. The music, dancing and food are fantastic. We went to the New Years Dance on Wednesday night and the Honky Tonk Dance on Thursday night.The hotel is within walking distance to the store. Each room in the hotel is unique. The staff is wounderful. Each morning they serve a hot buffet breakfast 😋 While staying in Floyd, we visited Chateau Morrisette Winery on New Years Day. I highly recommend this hotel while visiting Floyd, Va. Nothing!

• Clinton W (9/5): Perfect place from which to explore Floyd & the mountains nearby. - Great hotel for any length stay - very clean, very spacious room, comfortable beds, and staff is both friendly and helpful. The lady who took care of the breakfast buffet area was especially awesome - very active in keeping things fully supplied & in making sure all areas were clean!! No real negatives - the Direct TV system did not have a number of channels that we would like to have had (major networks, ACC Network, etc.) This was a minor issue only, though.

The hotel had wooden doors, quality structures, beautiful interiors and exteriors; and then had the cheapest shower and tub you could imagine. It didn't make any sense. The owners should have place quality tile showers enclosed with glass and not a cheap tub with a curtain.

• Judy (9/5): I would stay there again - This is a great hotel in a perfect location to walk anywhere you want to go in Floyd which is a fabulous little town. The girl that takes care of breakfast is an incredibly hard worker and I very much appreciated All she did. My room on the second floor was a very long walk from the parking lot to my room. I'm 83 years old and it was a bit of a stretch. Once I got there everything was very comfortable

• Rahel (8/5): - I was very disappointed to see that your hotels are still using large amounts of single-use plastic items such as plates, cutlery, and cups. Considering the scale of your operations, this could mean thousands of plastic items being thrown away every single day—365 days a year. This is extremely concerning from an environmental perspective. At a time when sustainable practices are more important than ever, I find it troubling that such a large and respected hotel chain has not prioritized reducing plastic waste. Instead of investing in disposable items, I strongly encourage you to employ staff who can help manage reusable alternatives. Not only would this create jobs, but it would also reduce your environmental footprint and show genuine care for our planet. I hope your company will take this matter seriously and commit to more sustainable, responsible practices. Thank you very much and all the best!

• Floyd (10/5): Perfect hideaway spot to relax for those exploring the Blue Ridge Parkwat. - Our experience at Hotel Floyd was outstanding! From our greeting at the reception to our check out, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was tastefully decorated and everything was clean and well maintained. The location off the Blue Ridge Parkway was perfect end to that day of our trip and was less than 30 minutes from Maybry Mill. The city itself was small but picturesque and we plan on going back in the future for a longer stay. If you’re in a hurry, may not be the best location since it’s a little off the beaten track, but if you’re just exploring around Blue Ridge Parkway I’d plan to make it one of your overnight stops.

• John (10/5): Great base for FloydFest 2025! - The hotel is right off the main highway through town, which made it easy to get to the festival site every day. Just a quick 15 minutes drive from some fabulous music and a great experience. The location is also just around the corner from "downtown" Floyd, an easy walk away. The food and vendors in that area were an added bonus to our trip. The breakfast was hot and fresh every morning, with variety from day to day. The people were very nice and accommodating to our needs, without exception. We would definitely consider Hotel Floyd for future travel in this area.
