• Araceli (8/5): Great place, but don't expect a kind welcoming - The location was in the middle of tuscany, exactly what we where expecting and it was beautiful house I choose this place for the location and the staff, saw a lot of reviews about how welcoming they where. At my stay i've encountered a not so friendly and rude person, seems that he didn't care about anything. The breakfast was super limited, not cool, all supermarket stuff.

• anna rita (6/5): Evitate di prendere la colazione perché pagare 8 euro è veramente vergognoso. - Il giardino era attrezzato e piacevole, la stanza era abbastanza comoda e pulita. La strada sterrata per raggiungere il luogo è lunga e non ci sono segnalazioni utili ma la cosa più sconvolgente è stata la colazione pagata 8 euro a testa : eravamo in due abbiamo preso 1 colorazione dolce e una salata. Ci è stato portato per il salato un mini panino di nemmeno 6 cm e un piattino con 3 fettine di prosciutto e 3 di formaggio. Per il dolce 1 mini cornetto di nemmeno 3 cm. Abbiamo chiesto se era possibile avere un altro mini panino e ci è stato risposto di no perché era previsto solo 1 a persona. C’erano inoltre 2 mini porzioni di biscotti, 2 yogurt alla banana, 2 mini confezioni di fiocchi di cereali che non abbiamo neanche considerato perché sono prodotti da supermercato che non mangiamo. In pratica la possibilità di scelta era inesistente.

El desayuno es abundante y también se pude hacer café y/o té en la habitación. 100% recomendable

El baño tenía un calentador eléctrico que estaba apagado,y no te explican que hay un botón fuera de la habitación para encenderlo,queda tapado por la puerta cuando la abres,por lo que cuando nos fuimos a duchar no pudimos porque el agua estaba congelada. No hay cobertura en la zona y dice que tiene wifi,tuve que mandar un Whatsapp para pedirla pero al final no sirve de nada porque la señal es muy mala. Tuve que salir de la habitación para buscar señal y mandarle el WhatsApp y para llamar por teléfono.

Pusryčiai išties gausūs, tiek saldūs itališki, tiek nesaldūs (kepti kiaušiniai ir suvožtinis su sūriu), net pieną pateikia šiltą. Tik viena pastaba iš valgančių tik saldžius pusryčius dėl apdegusių kruasanų, kurie buvo pateikti vienodai abi dienas. Mes buvome jau visai į sezono pabaigą, tai deja negalėjome pasinaudot baseinu, todėl negalime komentuoti jo, tik matėme, kad buvo valomas, atrodė švarus. Taip pat atvykus viskas pasirodė ne taip, kaip nuotraukose, nes rudenėjant daug prikritusių ir nesušluotų lapų gadino vaizdą.

Il posto è incantevole e silenzioso, relax garantito. Arredo e servizi della nostra camera erano curati fin nei minimi dettagli. Ottima la colazione, e molto accoglienti tutte le parti comuni, pensate per accogliere gli ospiti e farli stare comodi e coccolati. La capostaff Stefania, professionale e al contempo deliziosamente ospitale, è un’esperta del sito e dei luoghi circostanti e della loro storia e fornisce spiegazioni e utilissime indicazioni per visitare i dintorni. Sarebbe utile che le indicazioni stradali per la struttura, totalmente immersa nel verde della campagna toscana e piuttosto isolata, fossero di più e più visibili anche perché per raggiungerla si attraversano zone non coperte da Internet e quindi le mappe non aiutano!

The place is in a middle of nowhere, so it’s a perfect option if you want to get away from the city crowds and noise. Not to mention, quite close to Saturnia, if you are planning your trip there

La strada sterrata per raggiungerla è un po' sconnessa, ma tranquillamente raggiungibile con una normale autovettura. La struttura è carina ma un po' datata. Necessiterebbe di manutenzione e maggior cura. Ad esempio il materasso era un po' sfondato. Anche gli esterni potrebbero essere valorizzati.

• Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful Tuscan Oasis - B&B Borgo Vera is a sweet country home secluded in the fields of Tuscany. The host, Stefania, is incredibly joyful, warm, and accommodating... laughing, offering recommendations, and reminding us to slow down and smell the rosemary. The property is rustic and beautiful, with a wonderful swimming pool with a newly refinished bottom. It's a few miles down an unpaved road, and although it's a rocky road, it's worth it to arrive to such a peaceful and quiet place where the birds are the loudest sound you'll hear. In the morning, breakfast (for a small extra fee) was served starting at 8:30am. The cappuccinos were delicious and breakfast was just fine. There are sweet cats who live at this country inn who nap in the sun. The closest town is Manciano (less than 15 mins drive,) a very quaint hilltop medieval village, where we had our most authentic meal in Tuscany at La Imperiale (a Stefania recc.) We ran into a barrel rolling competition while returning to our car! The next day we went to the public hot springs (thermal baths) in Saturnia (Cascate del Mulino) which was only 30 mins by car and a super memorable and relaxing experience.

Una grande pianta di Fico carica di tanta "energia positiva" sovrasta l'intera aia. La titolare, Stefania, è una persona premurosa e gentilissima. Unico neo, il tratto di strada bianca per arrivarci che ci obbligherà a lavare l'auto. Ma fa parte anche quello del contesto.

The roads for most of the drive were fine. A little rough the stretch to the B& B Borgo Vera but worth the drive. The hospitality and charm at Borgo Vera is worth it! A very clean, quiet and rustic atmosphere. Fresh air, beautiful rolling hills and the countryside of Tuscany surround you. The best breakfast made available to you if wanted and very reasonable. Our stay was for four nights, we took advantage of breakfast our entire stay. All I can stay is delicious! Our host was very helpful offering suggestions for dinning in the nearest town of Manciano. A quant town near by. We were advised to make reservations. Our host suggested many great dinning areas. Very easy to tour around small towns of interest, wineries and the hot springs. If you’re looking for the perfect relaxation amongst Tuscany look up this gem to stay. You will not be disappointed! Thank you again Stephanie our stay at the Borgo Vera was a perfect one for our vacation.

Si nous avions anticipé, n'aurions acheté de quoi faire un barbecue sur place (petit frigo dans la chambre et barbecue a dispo dans le jardin) Proche des thermes de Saturnia, qui est absolument a découvrir si vous passez dans cette région

Alem disso, fomos recebidos com muito carinho. Foi muito relaxante passar uns dias por lá, ideal para um descanso após dias corridos em Roma. O Borgo é muito aconchegante, com gramados e flores, espaços para tomar um vinho e curtir o anoitecer. E uma piscina para se refrescar no verão. A localização foi otima para visitarmos locais indicados na região, como a cascara de Saturnia.

• Jenna (10/5): Our favourite stay in Italy! - We throughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Borga Vera! The property was absolutely beautiful! There was lots of private places to sit and enjoy the scenery and a glass of wine. It felt like we had the whole property to ourselves! The pool was beautiful; the room was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spacious. It was a 15 minute drive to town for restaurants and the area was beautiful to drive around and explore. We visited a winery and the hot springs while we were in the area as well. Stefania was a gracious, warm, welcoming host, she gave us advice on wineries and was always available for whatever we needed. Stefania also made us a delicious tomato omelette for $10 euro for two. We would love to come back and stay here again! This was our favourite stay in Italy so far!

Also, the communication with them was great and the room was what we expected. We didn't have hot water for half of our stay and also were not given an answer as to why this was (our guess was that the boiler was used up by other guests). Also, the (optional) breakfast was served with disposable cutlery and dishes, although real cutlery and dishes would greatly increase the value and would also be much more sustainable.

The pool was nice and very clean thanks to a cute robot. The area is gorgeous and the restaurant recommended by the host was exceptional. Our room was huge, with everything we needed. This was the best location we stayed at on our trip and in retrospect, we regretted not booking a longer stay. We will definitely be back in the future.
• Filippo (2/5): - Posto sconsigliatissimo! Primo punto a sfavore che non viene minimamente menzionato sono i 2km di strada bianca! A saperlo prima ci saremmo organizzati con la vettura giusta. Primo giorno appena arrivati non avevamo intenzione di tornare in paese per un po' d'acqua (soprattutto dopo i 2km di strada bianca) e molto tranquillamente ho bevuto dal rubinetto della stanza. La peggiore idea mai avuta! Sapore disgustoso!! Scrivo allora immediatamente alla proprietaria se l'acqua in stanza fosse potabile dato che non vi erano cartelli che dicevano il contrario e la risposta è stata "meglio non berla" insomma inutile dire come ho passato le ore successive. Secondo giorno, alle h 9:30 del mattino scriviamo alla proprietaria che in serata avremmo voluto fare una grigliata. Questa idea ci è venuta perché all'arrivo la stessa proprietaria ci ha mostrato con fierezza il camino esterno alla casa spiegandoci che era a nostra completa disposizione per grigliate. Benissimo! Se non fosse che abbiamo buttato via tutta la carne comprata in quanto è stato impossibile accendere il fuoco! Già dalla prima mattina avevamo avvisato la proprietaria delle nostre intenzioni e specificando che saremmo passati al supermercato a prendere tutto quello che occorreva... Lei ci ha rassicurato dicendo che bastava portare il cibo per il resto c'era tutto! Posate, piatti e bicchieri li avrebbe inoltre preparati lei stessa. Alle h 19:30 di sera torniamo al BeB con la carne e qualche verdura. Peccato che non c'è nulla

The view of the morning sun casting rays on the neighboring fields and hills : priceless . The country style of the house and yard was exactly as on pictures . I was pleasantly surprised by the daily change of linen and towels - better than 4 star hotels. Breakfast was OK (simple and light) . The host ( Stefania ) was extremely helpful , kind and smiling throughout all our stay. We are planning a road trip in the future and Borgo Vera will definitely be one of the stops for few days.
• Enzo (10/5): - Ad accoglierci c’era Stefania, una carinissima signora che ci ha guidato alla stanza e ci ha servito ottime colazioni. Ci ha spiegato anche come muoverci e vedere ottimi paesaggi. Borgo vera ti lascia incantato per l’immensità di verde e di silenzio totale. Giorni passati in piena tranquillità immersi nel verde .Stanze pulite e molto grandi.

• Nicolette (10/5): - The property was beautiful, the rooms were very clean and pretty, the breakfast we payed for was simple but good and was brought directly to our room. There is plenty of parking onsite. My only issue was getting to the property. The conditions of some of the roads are dirt roads with big pot holes.
• Elena (9/5): Beautiful holiday in the middle of nature - Very beautiful house in the middle of the nature, close to Manciano and Therme di Saturnia, which we highly recommend visiting. Very clean, comfortable and big rooms. Perfect for a quiet vacation. Stefania is also very nice and always there to help or give an advice. She booked for us some super delicious trattorias. • Kyeong (6/5): - The road to the hotel is kind of dangerous. Terrible road conditions if a person want to get in there in the night need extreme caution.
