• Suzanne (9/5): Spotless accommodation close to home for a mini getaway - The host at Snell’s Beach Motel was lovely, the room was large, bright and spotless. I was impressed with the extra blankets and pillows on hand without asking. Cafes and restaurants were just across the street, which is a plus for convenience but also makes things a bit busy.

• Kurt (5/5): OK if you don't shower or use the Internet - The living/kitchen space was large and configured well. There is room for a small dining table as well as a couch for watching TV. It's nice that the bedroom is separate from the living space. There is also a small table and two chairs in front of the unit which were nice for eating outside. The unit (Unit 1) had a large jet tub, but the jets don't work. There is no shower glass shield or curtain. So to take a shower you have to climb into this giant tub and then manipulate your body under the low shower head while trying not to have the water deflect off your body and onto the floor. The other big negative was the wifi internet service was incredibly slow. I eventually gave up and used my phone's cellular service as a hotspot for my other devices.

On the beds, the main bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was a lot less so.

Great location close to beach and shops just across the road, other amenities very close and not far from Warkworth if you need many other stores. The overall sensation of the rooms was fresh and clean The motel is opposite the shopping centre and a short stroll to the beach. . 2 little things I did miss though were an ice tray in the freezer and body lotion satchets/pots
