• Corina (10/5): Great host and staff, great value for money - The apartment was very well located and well equipped. The air conditioning worked very well, which is essential in Mauritius. The room was cleaned every two days and the towels were changed regularly. The pool was clean, the water was warm, and the terrace offered a very nice view of the yard and the sea. We also had a free parking space, and the property felt very safe, with surveillance cameras and an alarm system. The staff was very responsive to our needs and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. There is not a thing that we did not like.

• pascalnoe (10/5): Gladly again! - Friendly staff. Well equipped room. Very nice pool which seemed to be quite regularly cleaned. Well kept premises; especially the garden. Great location on the island. Well probably better safe than sorry: but the alarm on premise seemed to be prone to false triggers.

• Geraldi (9/5): Séjour sympathique - Le rapport qualité prix de la prestation. On se retrouve un peu chez l’habitant. Et donc idéal pour un couple, une famille qui ne cherche pas la foule. Nous avons fait face à quelques soucis avec le checkin avec des informations transmises en retard (après notre arrivée) ou erronés pour accéder à l’appartement. Du coup nous avons eu des problèmes pour désactiver l’alarme. On entend un peu trop aboyer les chiens des voisins ou les chiens errants.

• Zwerschitz (10/5): Perfekte Anlage! - Alles wie beschrieben war perfekt, das Personal sehr freundlich und dass Bett zum Schlafen komfortabel! Die anderen Gäste waren auch sehr nett und das Pool ist top! Die Lage ist gut und der Supermarkt ist nicht weit weg. Sogar die Polizei ist ausgesprochen nett!!! Die Alarmanlage ging mehrfach sofort los normal hat man 30 sec. Zeit, war aber nicht so schlimm so haben wir die Polizei kennengelernt!

The garden is also fantastic with a great swimming pool, barbeque, hamacas ... Also it is close to the best places of the island like Le Morne. Helen the owner takes a lot of care to ensure you feel good and you do not miss anything! Complete recommended!!

• Patricia (3/5): Mauritius was beautiful. We saw many memorable places. The boat trip we took was a memorable event. The issues at Mariss - The property was in a good position to access the tourist attractions. The layout of the accommodation was good We had an ongoing issue with the payment as we were expected to have cash for payment which we didn’t have. This caused us great anxiety as we would never be a non payer. I read payment at the property and assumed they would take a credit card payment as all of our previous bookings have done. This is not clearly stated that CASH ONLY ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT. We were given instructions where there was an ATM but had difficulty getting money processed. We finally made the trip to a bank which was some distance away and spoke to bank representative. Luckily we had a hire car. He explained that we would need to process over several days as there is a limit on the amount to withdrawn. Mario , the caretaker was unable to give us this information. We read there was a washing machine which there wasn’t. The TV and services didn’t work and we needed to get Mario to look at. If we hadn’t spoken to him ,they would never had worked as he needed to bring in a set top box.We needed to use our account to access NETFLIX. This is not stated as so we would have had no services if we didn’t have an account. There was limited cooking utensils and no oven just a cooking top. An air fryer would have been good as i like to cook when I’m away. No basics for cooking - salt, pepper, oil. We had difficulty finding the residence. If I hadn’t contacted them before we arrived, we wouldn’t have been able to find the residence as all instructions were on What’s Ap and when we arrived there was no power so we couldn’t access anything. There had been an accident and there was a complete black out. Luckily we had a torch to finally find the key box and get into a black house. We crawled into bed as there was nothing else we could do. Whilst I understand that it wasn’t their fault , there was no one to see us until the next day, when the visit was to collect the money. Mario asked if we found the torch- no and we never did as there were two more blackouts in the time we were there.

Very relaxing pool area with plenty of loungers and space. Comfy beds, satellite TV channels and well equipped kitchen. Room cleaned every day! Induction hob was annoying. Alarm very quick to trigger.

For an aparatment the services are amazing as the room was cleaned daily, the stuff is more then friendly. In the morning we could already enjoy the view of the ocean. • Dorota (9/5): We would happily stay here again, value for money is good. - - comfortable bed - terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool - beautiful garden - a very well-stocked shop nearby - room cleaning 5 times per 7 days of stay - free safe - good wifi, although it had to be reset several times at the end of the stay - we felt safe there - quiet neighborhood - the pans definitely need to be replaced - no salt, coffee, tea, shampoo - it's more about the area itself, because it's hot and wet, but there are German cockroaches flying nearby, so it's worth closing the terrace door quickly and not leaving your luggage on the floor. I found one already dead in the bathroom, and we killed a few on the terrace. It's worth checking your luggage before leaving, just to be sure and not to bring them home. - it is worth having a car or other vehicle, house is not close to the road, it might be scary to walk between houses in the evening.

The owner was very friendly and handled all our enquiries quickly and efficiently with information packs sent by Whatsapp. The room was very clean and well presented. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning helped us during the warm and humid nights. The kitchenette, with its fridge, microwave, and induction hob, was very useful. Beautiful garden full of birdlife and a lovely pool. Very close to a well-stocked supermarket with an excellent quality restaurant nearby. We had a cyclone during our stay, and the property manager was very attentive to our safety and comfort throughout.

The kitchen came very handy too, also considering the small restaurant offer in Le Gaulette. Supermarket is at walking distance. The cleaning ladies were all very nice and helpful. Towels and bed sheet were changed really frequently. Mosquitos, BUT in the room there was mosquitos traps therefore it was an easy solved problem.. And the garden was so beautiful that it was worth the hussle!

Rooms in very good condition with excellent everyday cleaning service. Special thanks to Mario who takes care of this place and was always ready to help us. In the nearby there is a big supermarket with everything you need.

Everything very well taken care of, and the owners are really good hosts. We will be back for sure and We strongly reccomend it. The only thing I could say, is that there wasnt space in the kitchen to be confortable cooking. Maybe a little table would help.

• Patrycja (8/5): Convenient stay in a calm place - Spacious place with quite well equipped kitchen and bathroom. there is a cleaning service everyday, cctv cameras and security service which was important to us. Parking available for around 4 cars so totally enough as there are 3 houses in Marisa residences. self check in which was explained upfront the arrival, very good contact with the owners. superkmarket, restaurant and atm in a close area it was quite confusing to find the object - dont trust 100% Google maps as it is misleading (info from the owner not fully helpful to reach the house). a pool was a bit dirty. Kitchen is already old, visible difference between kitchen standard and a main room.
• Adria (10/5): Exceptional - Best apartamenti that we stayed in LaGaulette. Very cozy atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and plants, comfortable bed, good airconditioner, daily room cleaning. Really enjoyed our time spent there, especially mornings with a cup of coffee and gazing upon palmtrees and flowers. Everything was perfect, thank you very much! And big + for lights in the room- they were with warm tone, which sets the mood cozy. In a lot of other apartments lights were cold tone, so the atmosphere was cold and did not feel nice. So here we really enjoyed that! One day there was real problem with bugs, at evening they got inside room even with big sliding doors closed, through some small openings maybe. Probably it was because of heavy raining all day, because other nights there were none at all. When we turned off the lights, it stopped. I guess property should think something to stop them from getting in. Pool could be cleaned more often, because there were a lot of dead bugs inside. This is just a suggestion from a coffee lover: if there was some coffee capsule machine like Lavazza blue or Nespresso in the room, that would be fantastic!

The property is tidy, well kept, the garden is perfect for relax after a day wandering around the island and the pool is another plus on an already A+++ grade and mark. The kitchen is small but well equipped, the housekeepeer comes every day to clean and make the room, as long as the pool guy and the gardenerer better than a 5 star service. Great value for money. The owner is very nice and the property manager is always a text away. Excellent !

• Richard (8/5): Mauritius New Year Holiday - Homely fully furnished private unit in a block of three fronting swimming pool. Good access to parking, supermarket, and public transport in the SW of the island with distant sea views. Kitchen is compact but adequate. Sheets and towels changed every two to three days. Suggest some tea/coffee/ milk sachets so to have a cuppa on arrival. Stayed eight nights Will visit again.
