Guest Reviews
- christine (7/5): Good value - Very clean
- Frances (7/5): - Close proximity to RNS hospital. The room was clean and the staff very helpful Nothing really
- Hickson (6/5): - Perfect location for me to be near royal north shore hospital.
- Bryon (6/5): - Very handy to St Leonards Station and RNS which was exactly what i needed Brojen toilet seat. ( i put it down in the middle of the night and it crashed to the floor. Probably woke the neighbours) No bedside lights. WIFI is absolutely dreadful.
- Ross (7/5): -
- Justine (1/5): -
- Kassapa (8/5): Nice decent breakfast - Location and breakfast
- Leanne (8/5): - Rooms compact and comfortable. Continental breakfast a nice bonus.
- Vratesh (10/5): -
- Fiona (4/5): - Staff were very engaging and polite Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows almost disappeared when you lay down. Got almost no sleep as a result.
- kenneth (8/5): Very suitable - Breakfast was good.
- Kate (8/5): A very comfortable stay but the carpark was very small. - A very good price considering how close it was to the city. Limited parking.
- Kevin (5/5): Would not reccomend staying here. - Room was very small, the room was NOT fitted with with blockout curtains so was very light and as the room was facing the road it was very noisy.
Very dated and crowded room.
- Ted (1/5): Next time I will stay at a recognised hotel. - Nothing Very small and dated. People above could hear walking around. Generally well below standard . Poor value for $179.
- Megan (8/5): Pleasant - Location to the RNS Hospital Entry off Pacific Highway
- Alan (8/5): -
- Fiona (1/5): -
- northedge (3/5): -
- Shannon (5/5): It was cheap - Close to the train station No toilet paper we had to ask for it
Huntsman spider came out of the drain pipe will we were in the shower
- Christos (7/5): Affordable, good spot, dated - Having a simple breakfast included Parking was insufficient
- Victoria (7/5): -
- Irene (6/5): Had to ask twice to get mould removed or a new room - Location Mould in the bathroom. On ceiling, window and in grouting
- Denise (6/5): Room was clean, small room and bathroom. But not as expensive as in the city and it was easy to get into CBD. - It was close to transport into Sydney, easy walk to train station. Property was a little tired, air con was in window and pointing straight at bed, no way to change position or turn down cooling. Even though it was 35 deg one day I stayed there, it was too cold in the room to sleep with air con on flowing right at my head and windows not opening.
- Monique (3/5): Would never stay again - Pillows and bed Car park absolutely shit no room to park your car as spots were bloody small and tight. In shower mould all around roof.Base of toilet where the pipe is there was poo around and smelt the night after we stayed,we were leaving next day.Informed lady at front desk .Netflicks also didn’t work lady at front tryed to fix but was unable.
- Shaun (6/5): -
- Andres (2/5): -
- Fletcher (1/5): Do not stay at Greenwich Inn Motel. - Nothing Room changed, not what we booked. No easy access to Room, had to lift suitcase over brick lip in doorway. Room door broken at bottom vents covered by tape. External Room window was broken, not latch to lock. Bathroom had mould. Felt very unsafe staying there. Not an accommodation that should be offered for stays. Breakfast was a DIY in next door room. Toaster, fridge, broken. Could only get a drink. Would never use this place again. Nasty, dirty disgusting. Nothing like the pictures advertised.

- Gareth (6/5): -
- J (9/5): -
- Stephen (6/5): Truthful - Nothing... Room was very small, curtains were not fitted properly, room was light throughout the night,no block out blinds or curtains, right next to the pacific highway,(trafick noise all night) light shinning right into the room, breakfast was toast or ceral, meant to be continental, bad experience, carparking was very tight, very disappointing 😞left early at 0830 hrs in the morning couldn't wait to leave.
- Kerry (9/5): -
- Elspeth (3/5): Over priced and over stated star rating. Very basic, and not well maintained. - The location was perfect for work in St Leonards, easy walk to Reserve Road and train station. Room was extremely small and stuffy. Despite advertising that rooms were upgraded, the furnishings quality was below average. Evidence of mould in the shower and very old, water damaged bathroom vanity. Traffic noise was quite loud despite claims the wi does were sound proof glass. There was a strong smell of bleach and/or chlorine in the staircase, and sadly there were cockroaches in the room.
- Mary (4/5): Would only stay here again if I was desperate. In the photo attached the black stuff is tape . - Went elsewhere for breakfast, didn't look very nice.
- jeanette (5/5): Enjoyable, comfortable and close to our daily destination. Tourist activities were easily accessible - Comfortable room, ease of access to public transportation, breakfast very convenient, air conditioning provided adequate warmth Room cleanliness, rubbish bins were not emptied routinely, clean, dry towels were not provided until we had been in the motel for 4 days despite leaving a note on the door. Access to hot water supply was not reliable-took at least 30 minutes for hot water to reach our room while we ran the shower and wasted water.
- Joseph & Denise (8/5): - Extra blankets
- Miriam (7/5): - Great breakfast, really helpful staff and secure parking. Pillows could be improved. Would love a microwave in the room.
- Rod (6/5): - Room & bathroom were very small. Parking area was extremely tight
- Patricia (8/5): Comfortable one night stay. - I did not have the breakfast; staff were delightful, friendly and helpful.
The accommodation was small, but bed very comfortable and good hot shower. Price suited the accommodation. N/A
- Victor (8/5): Thank you - Room good, Breakfast good and closeness to Hospital. ??
- Helen (1/5): The price of the room was reasonable but there is no need for filth - Nothing much The bathroom was filthy the toilet brush disgusting mould in the bathroom shower all around the window
No microwave not enough parking the outside area of the cafe was disgusting we chose not to eat there
- Roger (6/5): Its a room to sleep and value for money. Not a place for 2nd honeymoon. - It was value for money and was clean and basic but comfortable. I just needed a bed to sleep in. Basic TV. Wifi was acceptable. The breakfast was basic but at the price it had the bare necessities. Cereal, toast and limited spreads. Instead of Apricot jam the standard is Orange Marmalade. Standard is Strawberry Jam not Rasberry. I would not bother with it. No great coffee, tea bag tea. Visit the Mercure next door for brekky.
- Lasanka Weththasinghe (8/5): -
- Olivia (3/5): Location good. Continental breakfast is long life milk with cheap bread, cheap cereal, cheap jam - Location The children got itchy and a rash/irritation from sleeping on the bed. There was mould on the ceiling. The ironing table was rusty and broken. Shower was low pressure. Everything is very old.
- David (9/5): - Good hotel close to hospital. Nothing.
- Andrew (8/5): Quite good - Location Parking
- shelley (8/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Melisa (6/5): It was ok, Been in worse. Room was nice and clean and it is in a great spot of needing the hospital across the road. Wou - Close to RNSH. Not far from train station and food. Room was clean. Bedding was clean.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing special but least it’s free! Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were old and flat but lumpy. Internet dropped out at 830-9pm most nights so couldn’t watch the tv. Car park is ridiculously small. Hard to get my vehicle out. Could see where people had been running up the fence to get their cars out.
- Kay (8/5): Great little stay - Excellent value for money. Perfect for a nights stay with easy access to public transport. Can't fault the accommodation and staff were lovely. Parking spaces are very tight and not ideal for larger cars/SUVs. We couldn't get into our car without using the remote to move the car forward, and it was a good 20 point turn to get out.
- Vicki (9/5): - Great location to hodpital. Staff very friendly and obliging. Nil
- Mark (8/5): All good budget accommodation as expected -
- Elsie (9/5): -
- bruce (7/5): great value! - location to st leonards, great value and comfortableness
- Tarleah (6/5): - It was a comfortable place to stay. There was no hand soap.
- Kerrie (8/5): - Reasonably close to my venues
- Nawaz (8/5): Value for money. - Basic Breakfast
- Kylie (10/5): Great would stay again - Close to where we needed to go clean
- sharyn (7/5): - Clean and great location
- Mark (7/5): -
- Jodie (2/5): Terrible condition. - It was close to Royal North Shore Hospital It was terrible. The bathroom was disgraceful. The bath and shower was covered in mould.
- Tenille (8/5): - Lady at reception was so lovely
Close to where we needed to be
- Margaret (7/5): This motel represented good value for money in a very busy area of Sydney. - Check in was easy and location was good for our purposes. Continental breakfast was a bonus and made the accommodation good value. Although we were lucky to be early enough for a car park which was undercover, this was limited and we could not have left the motel by car and be assured of a park on our return.
- Adam (8/5): The room was comfortable and great for our stay -
- Pamela (5/5): Comfortable but could have a few things to make it better. - Loved the shower water pressure & hot water. Air con and little fridge worked really well. Bed comfy Breakfast only had jams no Vegemite or peanut butter. Only Apple juice to drink.
Also a lot of noise from room above. Narrow, low ceiling room with TV at strange angle
- Brenden (7/5): Value for money, facilities next door made stay more enjoyable - Clean, ok to sleep. Out all day. Close to bus stop.
Good cafe next door. Changed to ground floor to accommodate my friend with an injury No hairdryer when they advertised they had one
- Adam (8/5): -
- Sovan (10/5): - Close to the bus train and other shops and library No microwave :(
- Tamara (10/5): - Comfortable and convenient Nothing, it was great thank you
- Jabez (3/5): Not sure if a hostel may have been a better option. - Breakfast was the best thing about the stay The room was poor, dead spiders everywhere, killed a cockroach on the floor, musty smell.
- Horvath (7/5): Decent basic accommodation - Comfortable bed, good air con, easy check in, key entry to room Parking was really tight, shower head had very low pressure, no lift, breakfast from 7am to 9:30 wasn't long enough so missed out by 10 mins
- Evelyn (7/5): - Being close to the city Limited carpark
- Belinda (3/5): Paid for 2 nights only lasted 1 night as my health was affected by the mould & state of bathroom. - The state of the room & bathroom was not acceptable.
Room 17.
The air conditioner in the window was being held together by strapping tape.
The bathroom roof full of mould.
No flyscreen in bathroom window so everything from the outside was coming into bathroom.
Stains & marks on bathroom walls.
The toilet bowl has a huge crack.
The toilet brush holder old & rusty.
The shower was mouldy.
The roof in room was stained.
The vanity in bathroom damaged.
The lamps on bedside table broken.
You could hear every door that shut during the night & morning.
Property maintenance is the major issue it’s not the cleaners.
- Craig (7/5): It was a good cheap option for us. Included breakfast was a bonus - Cheap, convenient location Old, bathrooms could use some updating
- Jickhary (5/5): -
- Eliane Veltrudes (6/5): -
- Suzanne (4/5): Wont go back - Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a lot of mould and breakfast was ordinary . Not enough parking.
- ROBYN (10/5): - It was a lovely place to stay staff very nice and helpful, was close to our appointments, light breakfast was very good and would stay there and recommend it to others also very good price, Was all very good
- Suzy (9/5): - Ease of check in, parking, cleanliness of bed and bathroom linen. Room is thoughtfully furnished.
- Rhonda (2/5): - No plug in sink .no flannel shower to small bed lumpy
Double bed to big 4 room should be single rate
- Michael (4/5): Don’t believe we would stay there again, but it was value for money - Breakfast ok but need staff to keep food topped up.
Parking very tight but ok
Bathroom needs work and better cleaning
Room tiny but comfortable
Very close to public transport Found glasses in room dirty, not happy with shower recess, not very clean and drain grate moved. Tissues used for placemats.
- Marcela (4/5): - The room was full of dust . Never been vacuum behind the very old broken furniture . The little bar bridge so old not shelf to place food . The door was so derty . The kitchen and breakfast areas needs a good clean up . The hotel owners need to put some money to pay for a good supervisor and cleaner . The building is in a very good location but the accomodations is not good .customers do pay fur a clean place to sleep !!!! I do have photos of the my room shows the poor cleaning standards .
- Keith (4/5): - No parking how to park out the front after being told that there was parking AC was ok
- Helen (10/5): - Staff very helpful and accommodating
- Buffy (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Cordova (7/5): - Convenient near to the north sydney cbd
- Colin (6/5): -
- Garry (10/5): - The price was reasonable and it was clean and fresh .
- Justin (4/5): - Bed was comfy Bathroom seriously needs a goob scrubbing it had mould throughout the shower.
- John (9/5): -
- Romano (6/5): - Liked the price
- Shane (6/5): - The quality is similar to an ibis budget. The legs on the TV were broken meaning it rolled forward. Parking was tight. Although it had been renovated still felt dated which is part of its charm. Breakfast was basic with no staff present. Like going to your own pantry. Value for money it was good. Plus was the bed was comfortable
- Philip (7/5): It was convenient and value for money - The room was comfortable and value for money AC/heater was a bit noisy
- Phillip (7/5): -
- melissa (4/5): Not great, couldn’t sleep - No stand out features Car park extremely small and hard for a bigger type of car.
- Rosa (8/5): comfortable and convenient and low cost (especially at weekends) - This is great value at weekends when prices go down (it's near the hospital and Monday-Friday is busy). The front of house person is excellent: friendly and helpful.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Aravind (9/5): Good - Cosy No parking
- Hsiao (6/5): Pleasant -
