Nothing is too much trouble for them. We will be back, the entire experience is simply world class. The weather one day was not so good! :( unfortunately Ellerman house can't control that !
Cheila (10/5): Exceptional Haven in CapeTown’s heart - Exceptional experience! The hotel looks like a castle, with so much art in it, manager told me they are the biggest private art collectors in Africa. Location is outstanding, interrupted views over the ocean and the amazing Cape Town’s sunset. Staff is wonderful, very helpful and attentive. I had a special request for candles and rose petals in the room on our arrival, and they made it so perfect and special. Wine cellar is so out of the ordinary, they impersonated a wine opener. Bar and restaurant are very good, and breakfast is exceptional! I asked for late check out and they gave it for free until 3pm, and I was very impressed that they even cleaned the room, as if I was going to stay one more night. Probably second best hotel I’ve ever been to (and I travel a lot, to many different countries). I will come back for sure! Nothing, everything outstanding

Gin bar nice touch. Distance from beachfront requires transport. At this price point disappointed with minor details like: Delay in secured front door being unlocked on start of visit not very welcoming. Minor issues like faulty cupboard door requiring maintenance, desk lamp switch dangerous short, poor communication re shuttle to Airport with appropriate vehicle. On several occasions requested suitable vehicle to handle excess luggage but on the day unsuitable vehicle sent and resorted to backup. Probably being fussy but expected exceptional service!
