- SURESH (8/5): cadre magnifique ! - Le cadre l’ambiance la piscine le personnel l’équipement La cuisine était en terme de qualité pas à la hauteur de la prestance de l’hôtel Les portions étaient limitées notamment en pâtes au restaurant italien beaucoup de produits manquants Le petit déjeuner offrait certes une large gamme mais on regrette l’absence de certains produits ( chocolat en poudre pour les enfants .
- Rohan Chand (8/5): Overall - very good. - It is a good location, on the other side of the river. However, you can always take a ferry which costs negligible. The rooms are large. Breakfast is ok - could do with more variety. The view of the river is beautiful. Must ask for river view facing room. However, the staff was very nice - polite and helpful. They were always to help. Packed us some take away breakfast on the last day. Check in and Check out was smooth. They have kept a check in time of 2 pm. I wrote to them a day earlier for an early check which they agreed to without any extra cost. So that was appreciable. I think some of the things were overpriced. Since we were a family of four we needed a six seater to go to the airport. Unfortunately we were not getting that option on GRAB early in the morning. So finally we asked the hotel. They asked for 75$ though they had written 44$ somwhere. In the end we stuck to GRAB and due to a cooperative driver who agreed to adjust some of our luggage on the front seat we ended up paying only 23$. Also some of the restaurants in the hotel had a very limited menu. The Champa Cafe on the ground floor is the best.

While staying, my wife became ill, the management recommends a hospital and provided a driver. Day after day, as I was staying there alone, they expressed genuine concern and have kept in touch since. It was like having a hotel family! And, I couldn’t have been stranded in a better place - comfortable environment, great food!

- Randall (10/5): Amazing deal for a nice but older luxery hotel - The Sokha hotel was a bit out dated, but it was an amazing deal. The hotel is very spacious and lots of marble. The showers had a lot of hot water and were very big. I would definitely stay here again with the low price I received. The staff was super friendly with everyone greeting you in the morning or any time I passed by the front desk. Elevators were fast too. It is a little trickey to get to the waterfront, so ask someone. The surrounding area was quite littered, but it did have a nice view of the Phnom Penh downtown. Far to walk anywhere. Breakfast was very nice with so many options.

Amazing views of the river looking towards the palace and riverside. Huge beautifully kept pool. In fact the cleanliness and upkeep was excellent. No customer welcome until arrival in reception. This may sound petty, but after arriving at the front entrance to the hotel. I wished let my wife out with our suitcases. I was promptly told to move my car and found myself carrying our luggage 100m back to hotel with no form of assistance. This is very poor for a supposed 4 star establishment. They have doorman, the place was clearly very quiet. It really put me on the back foot for the rest of my stay. Also the staff at two restaurants on the 19th floor are clueless on product knowledge. Very polite but clearly have not been given any training. The breakfast buffet was a bit hit or miss as well. At the eggs and noodle soup section. My first morning I had a omelette which was simply amazing. The next two mornings it was inedible. This really confused me, as I’ve lived in and around Phnom penh for over 20 years. I speak Khmer fluently and eaten Cambodian omelettes in western and Cambodian styles thousands of times. Also my omelette was made every day by the same chef. I just don’t comprehend it.

- Sokhoma (10/5): Very comfortable stay. - The location. Premium spot across the Tonle Sap river in front of the Royal Palace. Away from too much congestion of Phnom Penh but close enough to get to the centre in 10 minutes but tuk tuk. 10 minutes distance by ferry across the river to the city costing 50 cents AUD. Slightly dated in decoration and fit out.

- Amin (10/5): Nice work-vacation - The room and bathroom were very spacious and lovely view from my room to the river and city center, presidential palace etc... Breakfast was great, only issue was that no real fresh fruit juices. Fitness area is very good for someone who is not a professional bodybuilder, maybe some equipment can be added, as there is plenty of space. The swimming pool was great: about 30 m X 30 m, and you could swim nicely. The hotel is 200 m away from the ferry point which brings you directly to the city center in 10 minutes, avoiding traffic jam. The staff has been always helpful and smiling. I was there on business but the next day I could feel more on vacation rather than business. Improve somehow the equipment in the fitness area and maybe in the lobby increasing the air-conditioning.

Big GYM, swimming pool, Sushi and much more. front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable. limited on restaurants foods selection and no five stars restaurant near by. I need to ride ferry boats across river to Bkk which is not far away. it’s all good.

- Palle (6/5): Odd empty feeling - Odd feeling at this almost empty hotel. Perhaps due to the corona virus, but there was an empty feeling in the hotel. Thus the staff was over eager. This led to the staff took away our plates while eating. Other places of the hotel was deserted though some personnel would had improved our experience. As we the hotel for a bus in the city centre they were surprised that we thought their proposal with the hotel car service was way too expensive. 20$ for a short ride. A grab cab was only 4$. Not a bad hotel but not an excellent experience either.
