• Nikhil (10/5): - Great no frills hotel near the airport and bus station. Recommended if you have a flight next day. They gave a scooter for 300 Baht and provided airport transfer for 300 Baht as well. The pool is nice and clean. They do NOT have amenities like Dental kit, shaving kit etc but there is a 7-11 nearby. The bed in a little springy and dated so that can be improved. Overall had a good time.
• Jeffrey (8/5): - The Fong had a nice pool. People were friendly. Limited dining options, although there is a basic but nice restaurant 600 metres down the road around the corner opposite street food and a 7-Eleven. Transport is a problem. You really need to rent a scooter which are quite cheap and easy to rent. They deliver and pick up from hotel. Hotel is quiet and bed hard. Nice porch area. Hotel cats name is Kiwi.

Really nice experience. Hotel mainly used by Thai locals. Very friendly and most guest wanted to chat with us. Pool was clean and wonderful. Breakfast simple.

• Sophie (10/5): Recommend 100% - We had a very nice stay at the Fong. The room is comfortable and we loved the pool and restaurant. 10 minutes in scooter from the town and 15 minutes from Ao nang. You have a very good breakfast for the price they ask and all the staff are very nice and helpfull.

The free shuttle service into Krabi in the evening was great as the hotel isn’t near to many restaurants. The room was spotless and the pool and grounds were kept very clean

• Thomas (8/5): Fong Krabi - Really nice hotel, only a few rooms so nice and quiet, staff are really friendly. Pool is really nice and all the rooms are set back from the road so are really relaxing, a few minutes drive from the centre of Krabi not much locally but 5 mins in a taxi to the centre and there's a local 7/11 within few hundred metres. Be careful walking down the street, all the manhole covers are off (as work is being done) and its a good 6 foot drop if you miss one. Overall a really good hotel for the price not in the hustle and bustle of the centre but not too far away if you want to venture into town.
• Jeanne (8/5): Overordnet set tilfreds, men med små fejl - Overordnet set et dejligt ophold, dog var vi lidt skuffet over at der står, at der er gratis transport indenfor 4km som så kun omfatter en shuttlebus der kører kl 18 fra hotellet, ind til byen og så bliver man hentet igen kl 22. Vi havde regnet med at det var mere omfattende, så derfor kom der nogle uforudsete udgifter på transport. Personalet er søde, dog er der nogle af dem der har svært ved at forklare og snakke engelsk. Morgenmaden var lækkert.

• Whitney (8/5): Clean and Comfortable - Good location for catching the morning Lomprayah, but not much else nearby. Check in felt rushed, like I was an inconvenience, but the hotel was clean and comfortable. I had to leave before breakfast opened.
• Tuan (10/5): Pleasant Stay with my friends - All staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit away from the centre of Krabi but they do offer complimentary shuttle bus to the downtown every night.

• Cornelius (8/5): Functional property with nice pool and cafe area. - Stayed one night en route to Koh Lanta island. Situated in unremarkable location but resort provided free timetabled taxi links upto 10pm to and from Ao Nang beach (embarkation point for many tours and activities) and its attractions, including a wide range of restaurants. There were lots of seafood restaurants overlooking the estuary. The property consisted of a small number of chalets alongside a central walkway. Our room was functional and comfortable but with nowhere to hang clothes. The sizeable swimming pool was excellent and the cafe/breakfast area adjacent to it was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful.

• JUNGHWAN (10/5): Great Resort and Great Staffs - My family was very pleased with this resort. We stayed at this resort for 10days. Room was very clean and the moderately sized pool was clean and good to play. Every day breakfast was delicious and clean. Best of all was the kindness and very helpful of the staff. Thanks to The Fong and all staff especially Tony and Jay and other staff, my family's holiday in Krabi was so happy. P.S : We booked a 2 local tour(4 island tour, hot sream and emerald pool, blue pool, tiger cave) at the resort. It's more affordable than the price you search here and there in the town.
• Cielo (10/5): Erholsamer Aufenthalt - Wir waren alle mit unseren Zimmern und dem Aufenthalt total begeistert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Inhaber selbst hat sich immer wieder um seine Gäste gekümmert , was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wer Erholung sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Das Resort liegt etwas außerhalb, ist dennoch zentral. Wir haben uns für 2 Tage einen Roller gemietet, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir waren relativ schnell an den Stränden. Am Anreistag waren wir viel zu früh da, aber wir haben problemlos unsere Zimmer bekommen. Am Abreisetag haben wir um einen späteren Check-out gebeten, was auch ohne Probleme möglich war. Bei unserem nächsten Trip nach Krabi würden wir direkt hier wieder einchecken.

• Hanna (10/5): Superb service and very clean - Family owned resort, very nice and serviceminded staff. The restaurant had a really nice european feel to it and great thai food. The man who made out food was one of the nicest we've met during our stay in Thailand. We only stayed one night but during our stay we only got positive vibes. Highly recommend.

• dan and ash (6/5): Ant infestation! - Room was very basic. Everywhere was covered in ants! Don't bring any food into the room as the ants will get it no matter where it is. Even our bags were invested !! Free amenities, but we never got any tea, milk or sugar! Free shuttle bus service at night which took us to Krabi town was good. Quite far away from any shops and restaurants so definitely a good idea to get the shuttle bus.

• Robert (10/5): Good time at the 'Fong! - I liked my stay at the 'Fong Krabi; the owner was a very nice young man,as was his staff. They took good care of me, me being a 'senior. The hotel has I think about 12 apts. that go up a slight incline,there is vegetation all around even though the location is just off a highway..you don't notice the highway so much this way. Still, you might want to book a room higher up the hill. The owner told me he has plans to put a pool in and other upgrades. The one negative is that the hotel is located between Krabi Town and the beach area,not very close to either, but I was able to get to both w/o a vehicle of my own. I got rides into town with The hotel mini-van. Note: there is a wonderful place to eat about 100m up the highway from hotel; I had several meals there and enjoyed all. Thai and very good western dishes.

• Patricia (8/5): Friendly and helfpul - the hotel is simple - but the rooms were clean and comfortable & were ideal for our purposes. It was a little bit out of town, but the staff were very helpful. They made an excellent recommendation for a restaurant 3 mins walk away, and had a free shuttle bus into town.
• Arzu (4/5): Not convenient - The room is big and clean, however the location is very inconvenient and far from everything. After 21:00 o clock there is no taxi. The only possibility to get to the center is taking the free shuttle at 18:30 and return at 21:00 which was very convenient. Sleeping in the night might be difficult as there is a noise of a cow??? or noise coming from the petrol station which continues all night long. Personell is nice.
• Candice (4/5): New - But Not Maintained - It is obvious that this hotel is newer, but it is also obvious that the cleaning staff doesn't properly do their job. There were hairs all over the floor, insect larvae on the walls and ceilings, and the bathroom even had a gross bar of used soap still remaining from previous guests in it. Absolutely no attention to detail has been paid. Mosquitoes are everywhere, including inside the room. The location is very far away from the town, and there is only a gas station nearby to purchase water or snacks. Breakfast consists of toast and coffee.

• Michael (8/5): Mycket bra övernattningshotell nära flygplats - Bodde på The Fong för att övernatta inför flygresan hem till Sverige. Rummen är moderna med väldigt bra kvalitet. All personal vi var i kontakt var väldigt hjälpsamma och trevliga. Hotellet har en mysig lounge-area under tak med kaffebar där man kan slappa. Läget är en bit utanför centrum med bra kommunikation till flygplatsen vilket är bra. Hotellet erbjuder fri shuttle fram och tillbaka till centrum på kvällen (Inresa till centrum 18.30 och åter till hotellet 21.00)
