Very friendly staff; nice room with A/C, Fan, convenient bed, good WLAN; Location quiet for sleeping, but only in short walking distance from the old quarter with all the restaurants and shops etc. It was even possible to store some of our luggage while our trip to Halong and Lan Ha Bay. - Tonda (8/5): Great location and value for money - Location is top, literally next to the lake. The rooms are a bit small but the bathroom seemed newly renovated. You get what you're paying for, good value for money. Also the room seemed clean. Unfortunately there's construction nearby, therefore you can't sleep in or nap in the afternoon. The breakfast was ok but not their strong suit. Since the buildings are quite close to each other there's not much natural lighting.

- Sarah (8/5): Vraiment pas mal - Le lieu de l’hôtel est super et il est un peu reculé par rapport à la route donc on entend pas trop. (Mais on a une chambre qui donnait sur un mur, donc pas de luminosité). Je peux petit déjeuner est bon et y’a quand même beaucoup de choix. (Voir photos) petit déjeuner sucré ou salé . Lit moyennement dur. Il y a eu une coupure de courant la nuit, mais au final ça n’a pas été si problématique par rapport à la Clim on avait peur. Personnellement je me sentais pas chez moi, la chambre était sombre vu qu’on avait juste vu sur un mur.
- René (7/5): séjour... explosif !!! - L'hôtel est vraiment central, ce qui est positif. Cependant l'allée d'entrée est très encombrée par les travaux dans l'immeuble juste à côté. La chambre est très correcte mais nous avons mis 7 à cause du souci dans la salle de bain (voir plus loin) La salle de bain est très petite et le contact rapproché eau-électricite nuit à la sécurité. La preuve ! L'après-midi, alors que nous nous reposons dans la chambre, l'ampoule du plafonnier a pris feu et le plafonnier en verre s'est brisé parterre, des éléments ont fondu et ont endommagé la cuvette des WC. Nous avons pu éteindre et nous avons appelé la réception, qui a été très réactive pour appeler un technicien qui a changé le plafonnier au bout de 30mn. Mais l'hôtel ne semble pas avoir pris la mesure de l'incident ! Si l'un d'entre nous avait été dans la salle de bain au moment où cela s'est produit, nous aurions pu être brûlés ! De plus la salle de bain a été nettoyée succintement et n'était plus vraiment propre. Le personnel nous disait que la femme de ménage nettoirait le lendemain... jour de notre départ ! Le lendemain d'ailleurs, le réceptionniste n'était pas au courant de quoi que ce soit...

- Mahir (7/5): Okej mysigt familjehotell nära Hoàn Kiëm sjön - Trevligt litet hotell med bra läge, direkt vid Hoàn Kiëm sjön och ca 1 km från gamla delar av Hanoi. Trevligt personal och okej fina rum. Luktade fuktigt i rummet och var välstädat på ytan, men väldigt dammigt i övrigt. Rummet behöver en uppfräschning och grundlig städning. Det behövs antigen ett duschdraperi eller golvskrapa i badrummet efter dusch. Lite för enkel frukost. Som första hotell i Vietnam tog de 3% avgift på betalning med kort.

The room was cold, the aircon didn’t work, they didn’t have any normal heaters, just a really old smelly hazardous one. The staff didn’t speak ANY English and didn’t try to help. There was some mice poop under the bed, as well as a ton uf dust and dirt. I could maybe overlook all that, but in Feb 2026, there was a construction going on just next to the “hotel” and you could hear everything, all day. The walls are like paper. Do not stay here.

Muito perto do lago e do ônibus hop on hop off e comércio. ficava em um local muito lindo, em frente ao lago, perto de hotéis lindos, mas a entrada era por tipo uma entrada de garagem e uns 20m de viela. um pouco estranho, mas o hotel era muito ajeitado, limpíssimo e com excelente preço. Tinha elevador me hospedei lá 2 vezes. Na primeira vez peguei um quarto perfeito e silencioso no terceiro andar, mas da segunda vez, o quarto no sexto andar não foi legal. No meio da noite acontecia um barulhinho estridente, tipo uma sirene, que atrapalhava o sono. Depois percebemos que isso acontecia toda vez que nós ou outro hóspede abríamos uma torneira, chuveiro ou dávamos descarga.

Our room was tiny but comfortable and clean - great for our one night stay! Breakfast was okay but the dining room was too small to provide service at once all visitors who came to eat at the same time. Maybe time limits through scheduled entry slots would help to solve this.

The location is up a short alleyway, off Hang Tron Road, which runs alongside Ho Hoan Kiem Lake and within the Old Quarter. There were toiletries, towels and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There were men working on scaffolding right outside my window, so I had to keep the blinds closed. The hairdryer was the type that fixes to the wall, but wasn't fixed so the box banged about when I was drying my hair.

- Sandra (8/5): Excelente localização e bom preço - Quarto bonito e limpo, toalhas boas, prédio com elevador, café da manhã gostoso, muito perto de tudo e do ponto do ônibus Hop on hop off. Muito próximo de hotéis 5 estrelas famosos. Fizemos tudo a pé e de hop on hop off. Pediram taxi para irmos ao aeroporto e foi muito bom. Excelente custo benefício. Fiquei no último andar, no quarto à esquerda saindo do elevador e durante a noite fazia um barulhinho estridente, como se fosse uma sirene, com um som fino e estridente. Depois percebemos que esse barulho ocorria toda vez que alguém abria uma torneira ou chuveiro, tanto no nosso quarto, como em outros quartos. Devíamos estar perto da bomba ou caixa de água do prédio, então esse barulho incomodava bastante nosso quarto. Gostei muito do hotel, mas eu não ficaria mais no sexto andar, pois acredito que outros andares não tem esse barulho. Outra coisa que pode assustar o hóspede ao entrar é que apesar da avenida ser bonita, em frente ao Lago e ao lado de hotéis famosos, para acessar o hotel você entra por um espaço como se fosse uma porta comercial e estacionamento de motos e então tem acesso a uma viela, onde está o hotel. Tudo iluminado e tranquilo, mas nessa viela tem muitos fios elétricos e cabos passando de um prédio para o outro), o que deixa o local um pouco feio.
