And Jeff, I believe his name was, who we checked in with was so very nice and professional. He suggested a spot for dinner with was spot on! We will definitely stay here again, 100%!

So now I have to wait for the $200 to be returned (up to a month apparently) which impacts the money I have available to spend on the rest of my holiday. This is not fair. Other accommodation places have not done this. Also the breakfast was rubbish.

• BackPacker703619 (10/5): good choice in estes park, visiting RMNP - Just returned from a one night stay at Quality Inn in Estes Park. Have no complaints and we are picky. Clean, quiet, decent breakfast and pretty good size dining room. Nice staff. Obvious pride of ownership in fun Halloween/fall decor in hotel. Given 3 waters and some local taffy as a check in gift. We were early by a few hours and were allowed to get into room. Stayed in a large loft room with king bed in lower level and 2 beds upstairs. Two bathrooms, two balconies with good views, so good for family or several adults. Have outside pool not open in winter, did not use hot tub. Close to Fall River entrance of RMNP off Hwy 34. Would definitely stay again but suggest top floor rooms if you care about people possibly walking overhead.

Elk wandered on the lawn beside the inn. Just a few minutes from downtown and not far from Rocky Mtn National Park. Considering that *everything* in Estes Park is overpriced, the Quality inn is as well. However, I would stay there again.

Beautiful mountain views from the balcony, and easy access to either central Estes Park or to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Breakfast was plentiful, the front desk staff were helpful and pleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

• Seabrookgal (8/5): Good hotel but a little pricey... - After spending a day visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, we spent the night in the Quality Inn in Estes Park, Colorado. This hotel offers so much for a hotel that seems more like a Mom and Pop than a national chain. First, we were checked in by Jeff, who couldn't have been more helpful! Not only did he process our reservations, but he offered suggestions for meals, etc. Our rooms were actually in a separate building toward the back of the complex. Driving through here was a little dicey, not sure if there are one way streets or not. The rooms were great--good beds, soft linens, comfort height toilets, roomy, and we even were able to watch the Thursday night NFL game on Amazon Prime. That was a surprise. Also, our room had a porch that overlooked the mountains that was a nice bonus. We also saw all kinds of wildlife walking through the complex. Twice I had to use the Business Center which had four nice computers and a printer. The room was spotless. So was the laundry room next door. The complimentary breakfast while pretty much the same at all Choice Hotels, was maybe a step above some of our other stays. The next morning at check-out, Elijah was also super helpful. While we really enjoyed our stay here, we thought the price (close to $300) was a bit pricey.
