- Pioneer35821430795 (8/5): . - I stayed at the Marins Park Hotel in Nizhny Novgorod this past summer for a short vacation. My goal was to explore the city's rich history and see the main sights on my own. I booked a standard room with two separate beds, a shower, and a toilet, and my stay was truly memorable. The hotel's location is perfect for sightseeing. It is right in the city center, within walking distance of the Kremlin and the Chkalov Staircase. I was able to get around on foot to most key attractions, which was very convenient. I would highly recommend making an advance reservation for the breakfast buffet; it offers great value for money with a vast selection of dishes. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were consistently courteous and professional. When I asked for dining advice, they directed me to a few quaint cafes off the beaten track, which turned out to be fantastic. In conclusion, the Marins Park Hotel is a fantastic base for a solo traveler exploring Nizhny Novgorod. I had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay there again.

I understand it is hard but you must have at least one english speaking receptionist at all times. Ideally you must have them everywhere at the hotel. You have only one girl who can actually speak and rest is just using google translate.
- Dmitri (6/5): - 1) The check-in process was terrible this time. Had to wait almost 20 minutes before checked in. Have no idea why, but eventhough my stay was prepaid they charged me one night (just in case) because they saw the payment by Expedia but havent seen the money on their account. When the money would arrive the charge for extra night would be reutrned to me. However upn the check-out nobody has even mentioned the extra charges until my reminder. 2) The bed was not really clean, neither were the cups. Aslo ther is no coffee or tea in the room and you cannot get some more water next day. 3) Breakfast is good 4) Liked that in deluxe rooms you get some pieces of clothes washed for free

- Anton (8/5): В целом неплохо, но есть нюансы - В целом все хорошо. Вежливый персонал, отличные завтраки, но есть пару нюансов. Первый, отель очень старый и это заметно. Второй момент, как в стандартном номере 4х звёздного отеля не может быть фена в номере? Девушка на ресепшн сказала, что предоставят нам бесплатно как «комплимент» от отеля. Это меня очень сильно порадовало, тк был в этой сети отелей в Сочи и там все было гораздо лучше, да и в целом много путешествую по стране и точно могу сказать, что это не 4 звезды, а хорошие 3.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Watch out for what you pay for - The hotel is as expected for this price level. Nothing special, but it was not expected either. What disappointed was the personnel, who suggested to pay also for the dinner. And I was told that the dinner is buffet style including all you can drink (soft drinks, beer, wine). So sounded like a good deal. What I got in the restaurant was a choice from a fixed menu, i.e. one salad one soup one hot dish one dessert and one glass of drink. Hardly a buffet choice and the food quality was low. So, do not pay for lunch or dinner there, go out, there are plenty places around. The owners should teach the employees not to lie, though.

- 292kristoffers (2/5): Was not allowed to stay, and no help was offered - Even though me and my Russian wife both had our international passports with us, my wife was denied access to the hotel on the basis that she didn't have her domestic passport with her. Fair enough, our fault, should have researched the changes to the law. The staff, however, were very unhelpful and had zero empathy with our situation. When we asked where we should stay instead, since noone would accept us, the staff at reception simply shrugged and told us it was not their problem if we had to sleep outside. Had to cancel our booking. Currently looking for a place to sleep. Terrible, terrible service, and not a very nice welcome to Russia after many hours of travel.

Из минусов : ванная комната максимум 4 квадратных метра, при этом дверь открывается во внутрь, нет фена ,халатов, тапочек,зубных щеток и Зубной пасты, пятна на ковролине, матрас видавший виды номер 1112. Из плюсов: приветливый персонал и хороший завтрак. Не рекомендую данный отель ,попали в него на одну ночь случайно.

It overlooks River Oka (beautiful views of both bridges, which link the upper & lower parts of the city), is within a 15min walk of the train station & is on the main road linking everything. The bus stop is conveniently in front of the hotel (Lenina Square stop) and buses are available to go EVERYWHERE in the city & outside the city. The staff are friendly & helpful...... the room was comfortable & warm.... and the bed was very comfy...... Good hotel.

But elevators are often busy - you have to consider your time accordingly. Standard rooms are really small, which may be enough for couples, but not for colleagues! If youк travel is a business trip, book one room for each traveller. interior of the hotel and rooms is in modern style, many sokets, lamps, good bathroom facilities. And the variety of meals for breakfast is also very impressive! Right in fron ot main entrance to the hotel there is a big parking!

- Stanislav (6/5): Отель в лучиших советских традициях - В прекрасном месте Нижнего Новгорода в 10 минутах ходьбы от жд вокзала, с роскошным видом на реку, Кремль и новый стадион стоит это Богом забытое заведение. И если к персоналу особых претензиц нет, он в меру вежлив, и и учтив, то все что касается обстановку, комфорта в номерах... Если вы соскучились по советским интерьерам и захолустным гостиницам на бескрайних наших просторах Вам сюда! Когда то.. в 90-х это вызывало восторг.. но не теперь. Отель требует немедлинейшей реновации! И если телевизор в номере 32 дюйма и плоский а деврь в душевую не закрывается и откровенно грязная в местах крепления, это ничем не исправить. Кровать односпальная, не доходит до стены сантиметров 7 и ты просто проваливаешься туда. Одеяло одно, средней плотности и вариантов нет тоже. Холодильник есть, правда ревет как АН12.. покрытие пола требует замены уже лет 10... как в коридоре так и в номере. В целом неплохо чтобы прям вот переночевать, но в нынешнее время другие требования к отелям
- EmreK4065 (6/5): Standard stay for a standard price... - Friendly staff, poor english, very small rooms, very bad breakfast, old communist style ... These are the first things that I can remember about Marins Park Hotel. Location is not so good, not so bad. If you like long walks in the neighborhood, you could find nice paths to walk around Breakfast was very poor and not tasty. Anyway, if you have only couple of nights in the city and you are looking for a budget hotel, then Marins Park could be an option. But if you have higher expectations and standards, then you should search for another place.

- TMorgan378 (4/5): A bit shabby - Room was very basic, and hotel had a bit of a shabby feel to it. English of person at check-in was weak. The hotel offers unusual amenities, though. Apparently, each floor has a public area at the end of the hall where guest can iron clothes. My room was next to one such area where a couple was engaged in a loud conversation while ironing, prompting me to ask for another room. The hotel also has an in-house strip club, which it advertises in the lobby and the rooms. Breakfast buffet was fairly varied. I would not stay here again.
- Jarrod (8/5): Good comfortable hotel - Good hotel about 1km from the train station with lots of buses to get you there. It is on the other side of the river from the kremlin and major sights but only 10 minutes on the the many buses that go past the bus stop just outside. The room was good, the beds comfortable and the bathroom pretty clean. Would definitely stay there again if in town.
- bylanders (6/5): Good price, service lacking - We stayed at Marins Park in Yekaterinburg and it was much better. This one had a nice big room and clean beds and towels but the maid didn’t take our laundry and then when we took it to reception later that day they said it was too late so we missed out. Our room was “cleaned” although they don’t make the beds and we were only left with two towels, no new hand towels or foot towels. The drink dispenser in the foyer was empty and the coffee shop was not staffed. Breakfast was good. There is a strip club next to the restaurant which is odd. Ok for the price but not overly impressed with promised service.

- Mikhail (6/5): Гостиница СССР - Встречают красиво, всё блестит, девушки вежливые и красивые. При входе в лифт отеля всё остаётся позади и Вы возвращаетесь в союз. Этот незабываемый звук лифта, протёртые временем и неаккуратными людьми ковры в номере, балкон, запах... запах тех времён, когда в номерах разрешено было курить) Ванная комната с пожелтевшей от времени и эксплуатации душевой кабиной, скрипящая кровать. Ностальгия в общем. Но ничего общего общего с новеньким Маринс в Ростове-на-Дону. Собственно, здесь бронировали, имея положительные впечатления от Ростовского филиала, а зря. Завтрак не брали, так как уезжали рано. Зато наслушались пьяного пения в ресторане на первом этаже под караоке :)

- Konstantin (4/5): Советское не бывает бывшим - Не понравилось: это декорированная бывшая советская гостиница, рецепция не соответствует 4*. Попросил возможность подняться в номер, найти бизнес карту на дне сумки и вернуться заплатить. Отказали, причем сразу и категорично. У бронирование есть гарантия картой, но все равно. А если бы у меня были проблемы посерьезнее?!Лобби отеля - набор кресел "аля поликлиника", в самое важное место отеля дизайнера не пустили. Лифт: реновация старых советских, маленькие-медленные, утром лучше не ждать, идти пешком. Дверь дешевая: все в коридоре слышно, советская "сборка" дверей по 4 позволяет "контролировать" шум соседей. В маленьком номере огромные тикающие часы(?!), а также громкий холодильник, стратегически расположенный у изголовья кровати. Все отключил. Кровать низковата, пружины прощупываются и почти уже видны. Бутылки воды не было, пришлось идти искать, где купить. Я люблю тепло, но было безумно жарко в комнате. Душевая кабина с пластиковым поддоном, который трещал, когда я вставал, мой вес 80кг. Розетка от фена с ирригатором работала секунд 10, рекорд, в худшем до этого было 30, успевал почистить 3 зуба. Раковина маленькая, со стеклянной полочкой над, умыться трудно. Везде раздражающие таблички: полотенчико для ножек, водичка горячая, ночничок (это был не ночничок!). Ресторан - неуютный. Отель - честные 3*, не самые дешевые номера смысла брать нет, лучше взять нормальную сеть отелей. Хорошее: можно дойти от вокзала, оформление номера не раздражает, чисто, много розеток(даже перебор)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Rundown but ok - This is by no means a 4star hotel. Id classify it as a 2star. Staff is friendly and its clean. But its a rundown soviet relic.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Неудовлетворительно - Прекрасное расположение, приветливый и очень приятный персонал. Отель 4 звезды, не из самых дешевых. Я очень лояльный клиент и неразу не писал неудовлетворительных отзывов, но та грязь, что была на ковре в номере меня просто шокировала. Мало того, что разводы, разных оттенков и любых размеров, так и темно коричневые пятна размазанные по ковру. Очень надеялся, что это был шоколад... Бронировал на одну ночь, поэтому идти и разбираться настроения не было. Очень надеюсь, что не все номера этого отеля такие грязные и мне просто не повезло.

The day of the football game they did not allow any taxi to come in except the "authorized" ones who charged us 3 times the common rate to go to the city. When we returned the taxi left us 200 m from the hotel. The hotel staff conveniently forgot to tell us that if we walked 200 m we could have access to cheaper transportation.
- Grant (6/5): - Perhaps it was because we were there at a very busy time - the room we got was TINY - and super basic. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. The restaurant at the hotel is great, and the location is pretty.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - I don’t even know where to begin with this review. The rooms were modern and clean. However, one aspect that perhaps takes away from the overall perception of cleanliness of the hotel, is the fact there is a strip club in the lobby entrance. It almost feels unreal, as you see this nice hotel inside and then have women dancing at the door to seduce you to go in. Other than this, the hotel was fine. The restaurant is open 24 hours and the location was within walking distance to the Nizhny Novgorod stadium where some of the FIFA World Cup games took place. In front of the hotel, there is a statue of Lenin in a plaza, and the sunrise from the room was spectacular. Uber would probably be the best bet to cross the river into the Nizhny city center which isn’t far but definitely not in walking distance. Overall, hotel was fine just not necessarily family friendly.
- Recep (6/5): central located, near the river - not the first btime I used this hotel, good location for my work and near the the central train station. The breakfast is not very good, could be much better but the service, equipment, all is fine
- Andrey (8/5): Это не 4-ка - Конечно,от 4-х звездночного отеля ожидаешь куда больше. Отель старый, поверх старых стен видны улучшения в виде большого телевизора и душевой кабины. Кровать хоть и числится большой двойной,но по факту 1,5-ка. Замок электронный это плюс. Фена в номере нет,одноразовых станков для бритья то же не дают( Хотя странно,конечно. Единственное,что вытягивает отель это клининговая служба. В номере всегда чисто, чистые полотенца ,чистый пол. Спасибо тем,кто отвечает за чистоту на последнем этаже. Ещё из плюсов,позволяют выехать на час позже положенного срока. Не знаю,как обстоят дела в супер люксах и люксах,но стандарт именно такой. Для семейного отдыха данное заведение не рекомендовал бы,но для командировок вполне подойдёт.
- Daria (8/5): В целом неплохо - Жила в улучшенном одноместном стандарте, в целом хорошо, но картонные стены. Слышно как течёт вода в душевой соседних номеров. Есть парковка, очень удобно. Еда средне.
- Henry A. (6/5): Establecimiento no apto para un Mundial de fútbol - El hotel está bien, lo malo es la atención que recibes en recepción, nada más llegar confunden la reserva y te quieren dar gato por liebre... Te hacen perder media hora. Respuestas vagas y ya comienzas con mal pie la estancia.
- Maria (8/5): две фишки и общий балкон с видом на каждом этаже! - В целом все соответствует заявленному качеству и картинке. К сожалению нам не достался номер с видом на оку и волгу, но мы сами нашли, что есть общий балкон в конце каждого этажа, который находится как раз на углу гостиницы и с него открывается замечательный вид на город и стыковку волки и оки. Темненькая девушка на ресепшн, которая была вечером 11 августа, к сожалению этого не знала, когда я спросила можно ли посмотреть откуда-то вид на город, если не из своего номера.... Она менярасстроила своим сухим нет, а ведь даже в ресторане на 3 этаже, где накрывают завтрак, вообще есть большая отдельная терраса. Фишка №1: Прикольные надписи на стенах возле мыла, полотенец и на двери туалета, юмор оценили :) Фишка №2: Вполне можем порекомендовать ресторан стейк-хаус на первом этаже, в первый день была очень приветливая девушка с пирсингом на губе, которая запомнила на память наш огромный заказ голодных московских туристов :) Стейк рибай и лосось были супер! У них еще есть фишка с мороженым... Попросите отдельное меню на него, и вы поймете о чем я.

- Dmitriy (8/5): Отличная гостиница, НО.... - В целом - все хорошо. Но некоторые "детали" сильно портят впечатление. Например, неоднократно сталкивался с ситуацией на завтраке, когда свободных столиков полно, а позватракать - негде, потому что не убрана посуда. Плюс эти "заморочки с онлайн бронированием - заказываешь номер с одним набором услуг, тебе пытаются всунуть другой. Ну и самое главное. Ребята, я не знаю ка, но ВСЕ, подчеркиваю ВСЕ гостиницы делают нормальные документы при онлайн оплате бронирования. И только вы выдаете "справку о проживании", в которой даже сумма не проставлена. Что за чушь? Не умеете - дойдите до любой соседней гостиницы и спросите - как?
- T (4/5): Definitely not even a 3 star hotel! - Unexperenced stuff, long check in, no breakfast at least I was not informed if there was one. Wifi didn't work too. Super small room, unnecessary outlets with blue lights all over the room that destroy your sleep. AC is super loud right next to the bed. Overall could not sleep well there Location is great ... Very close to the train station. All I want to say not a 4 star hotel!!! Should not have this rating)
- PH (10/5): Excellent Value For Money - A quality hotel with great facilities including a restaurant, comfortable bar, and a lapdancing club. The breakfast is fantastic and there are shops as part of the hotel complex. The only downside is that the hotel is some distance from the city centre.
- Iksang (6/5): Hotel for lonely male - It is good conditioned hotel. I mean physical state of hotel is good. But don't visit there with your family. There is a strip club next to the reception and a condom is on the bed just like welcome chocolate.
