Також тут є камін.Дуже добре ввечері посидіти на вулиці на ґанку.Власник був дуже приємний. Ми прокинулись пізно в день виїзду і не виїхали в зазначений час , але власник сказав що ми можемо не поспішати , що все Ок, це було дуже приємно для нас. Ми дуже задоволені що вибрали відпочинок тут.

Kacie (10/5): Couldn’t be happier. - The location was perfect, it was exactly what we were looking for cozy little mountain cabin in the snow. The kitchen had everything we needed to make snacks/drinks and enjoy leftovers from the nearby restaurants we ate most of our meals at. My family of 4 never ran out of hot water. We Walking distance to a bunch of cute little shops that we enjoyed. The staff was beyond accommodating and helped our family with everything we needed and kept regular contact to make sure we were good. My family and I will definitely be returning here the next time we want a little snow vacay.

Dean (4/5): It was ok, but I doubt that I will stay there again. - The location was nice. The small kitchen was adequate. No staff around to check us in or to help with issues. A tiny little piece of soap (about the size of a 50-cent coin) that was supposed to last two people for two days. It ended up falling through the wire soap rack in the tiny shower and breaking into pieces. The bed is long overdue for replacement. The decorative pillows had drool and other disgusting gunk on them.
Julie (7/5): Very small but cozy cabin and a perfect location. - Perfect location. Traditional feeling space. Nice fireplace. Easy access to all the restaurants in Grand Lake, and the lake itself. Very tiny space. The lighting is insufficient. Even with all the lights on, we had to use flashlights to see in some spaces, like the closet. The pull out sofa was uncomfortable, so our son simply slept on the sofa itself with sheets. The furniture seems too large and bulky for such a small space. Slimmer furniture could help.

Pamela (10/5): - We booked a cabin at this location, but it was not owned by Daven Haven. We were unaware of this at the time of booking. When we arrived, the cabin was already occupied. We were able to move locations. The owner called me personally to assist. Although we wernt able to stay there, through no fault of the owners, we would recommend this place.
Michael (4/5): - (Cabin: the Birch) Clean, cute and very uncomfortable. Broken down twin bed - person sleeping on it put a pillow under one side of the mattress to keep from rolling out of bed in the night. Sofa bed is a deep two-cushion sofa that is too lumpy to even sit on comfortably. Queen bed has hard mattress and is against the wall, so it works for one person if you can tolerate a very hard mattress. Entry to bedroom has both a step up (about 5 inches) and a low head clearance (about 5' 5"), great for banging you head in the night unless you are fairly short. Several light bulbs burned out. Faint smell of natural gas in places at times. There is a newish support beam in the center with large support posts at each end. One of those beams is missing the large bolt that would ensure it stays securely in place (the lower one).
Rutger (5/5): Sold off in fractional shares, became a trailer park. - Most appliances were broken. Daven haven was clearly sold off in fractional shares. The place has become more akin to a trailer park with most units now being permanent residents. Loud trucks reving, oil changes in parking lot, inoperative cars on blocks, violent dogs left unattended roaming property, unsafe to walk dogs on leash. Drunk neighbors who harass and peep into our windows wanting conversations and attention or genuinely do not understand leaving people alone. Owner is extremely disorganized and failed to communicate basic information like the cabin number. Owner was annoyed we called asking for number. Owner attempted to do everything off the books from booking.com. Overall we are in agreement that the Daven Haven has imploded with the sale. We stayed here multiple times from 2018-2022. This will be our final time.

In this case there was a curtain missing which made privacy a bit difficult. The mattress needs to be replaced. The lighting was poor. The cabin was outfitted adequately. I could tell they try. There is no lodge anymore, just cabins, The place is up for sale.

A (9/5): Clean little cabin close to the city center. - The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We got in late for check-in and there was a note waiting for us with instructions to get into the cabin. No hassles! A bit pricey but in-line with other rentals in the area.

Martha (3/5): Pricey for what you get, outdated and run down grounds and cabins - The cabin had an actual kitchen and separate rooms. (Living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms) The cabin was clean. The property grounds and cabin furnishings are really run down. Felt like a trailer park setting and cabins were furnished with random garage sale purchases. No bath products really provided. No staff anywhere to be seen.
Thomas (2/5): - no key to allow us to lock door while out. bathroom door knob/latch stuck closed (nearly a disaster), tv didn’t work, stove pilot fumes strong. But worst was inaccessibility of front desk — no one there for days, our messages not returned till 2 days later, at check in we couldn’t find our cabin and noone there to ask. The managers are nice if you can get ahold of them, but they aren’t paying attention most of the time, might have given up trying to be good hosts. Will not return.
Marilyn (5/5): Gave us very bad directions to our cabin. No one answered the phone, and sofa bed could not be used - We were given a cabin in an excellent location - right next to the main street for Grand Lake. Outdoor deck of the cabin was very nice. No one was at the front desk when we arrived to check in. They left us an envelope with a horrible map that was supposed to show us how to get to our cabin. Map was completely out of date, and we could not find the cabin. Finally went to dinner, and the restaurant staff helped us figure out where to go. No one was answering the phone at the Daven Haven. We needed to use the sofa bed at the cabin, and we could not get it to pull out for the first night. The staff did come over the next day to get it pulled out, but the support was so bad that the bed was unusable. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor. Kitchen was very outdated. Good thing that we did not want to cook much.

Brian (5/5): The cabin was OK, not perfect. It was a good location for us and met our needs. - The location was great for getting into Rocky Mountain National Park. Had the necessary utensils for having meals. Bedding and towels were clean and there were extra blankets and pillows. Quiet. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There were quite a few spiders just outside the cabin and some inside when we arrived. Got rid of them and no more showed up. The beds need to be replaced. The hid-a-bed couch was quite uncomfortable and worn out. The bedroom mattress was sagging in the middle.

Summer (8/5): Great mountain cabin in perfect location - Had an amazing week at the Wildwood Cabins (Big Pine)- part of the Daven Haven properties. Right at the edge of town, everything you need is in walking distance. The cabin is spacious, with a large dining table with two long benches and two love seats in the main room. A fireplace is in the main room as well, but with the fire ban and the warmer temps, we didn’t use. The bathroom has a shower stall (no tub) that is a bit narrow but very functional. Clean and super fluffy towels are provided. The kitchen has an electric stove and microwave with an apt fridge. We did have to unplug the fridge because of a terrible banging noise. The front desk clerk was happy to send maintenance, but since it wasn’t necessary for our stay, and the shortage of staff all over grand lake, we did not have it fixed. I don’t have an updated status on the fridge. The front bedroom has a great pillow top mattress and is comfortable. The double in the back bedroom is the reason for 4 stars. It is so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep on it. The springs were in my back and the squeaking every time I moved was intolerable. We created additional padding by using the twin mattress from the pullout sofa so I could sleep. Everything else was amazing. The cabin was so cozy, my daughter and I had such a memorable time. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommend. Special recommendation to the Wake Coffee shop down at the Marina. Their coffee is the best in the city
Verified traveler (8/5): - The oweners are nice and accommodating. The log cabins are interesting; you certainly do feel like you are camping, or at camp, as opposed to in a luxe hotel. The wifi is really spotty, and tv is basically pointless. Our fridge did not keep our food cold, but we dealt with warm drinks for a week since we could not really cook in our cabin. A couple of the twin beds had very old mattresses that could be replaced, but overall, it was a camp like experience, and you could really enjoy it, or be really miserable, depending on your state of mind. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but there were a few issues that could use improvement. On another note, if you are planning to swim in Grand Lake, forget it. We learned the hard way that it is way too cold, even in the summer, due to snow melt, for any functional swimming or floating. This is all about your expectations. If your mind is right, you will find ways to enjoy it.

I have a certified full service dog that it didn't matter to them. No one has ever charged me for my service dog. The WIFI was out for two days in the afternoon. Also, had to take towels to desk in the evening when they didn't pick up that afternoon.

Gerald (8/5): Nice retreat location! - The resort is very nice. Cabins are large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The weekend was for hiking and boating the Grand lake area and we did both even though the CO fires caused smoky conditions in the area. This resort is in a great location in Grand Lake. You can walk or bike to most locations in town from this Resort.

kelly (2/5): - I checked in and the heat wasn’t working. It was 9 degrees outside and my only heat source was turning on the oven. The TV wasn’t working either. I ended up sleeping in snow pants and a coat. Checked out the next morning and did not finish my stay because I was miserable. I won’t be going back. I was even charged for both nights. Unbelievable
Anamaria (4/5): Dissappointed - I stay here every Summer for three to four days and have no issue. This year we had our grandson, who tried to sleep on the sofa sleeper, but it was saggy in the middle and he was so uncomfortable, that we asked for a rollaway bed which was provided but was still saggy in the middle. They had left a 1/ 4 roll of paper towels with no refill. The frying pan provided should be thrown out as it burned everything. Needless to say I was very dissappointed and probably will find a new place to stay next Summer. After coming here for at least the past 8 to ten Summers, it makes me a little sad and dissappointed that the rooms were not up to par.

This should be getting worked on but I haven’t seen my refund yet and no follow up call or email. Cabin did have a shut up smell. Has all the kitchen items you could possibly need. Bathroom clean. The bed was horrible kept sinking to the middle. Two other beds that I didn’t try so not sure about them.
Francis (6/5): - The property itself was nice if you dont mind being around other little cabins. You can literally walk to the lake and the city or drive. The people who checked us in were not very friendly. The man i talked too on the phone before hand i emailed the lady Margo she was marginally friendly. My advice to them is if youre going to be in the hotel/cabin business you need to be smiling and more friendly, or why are you in the business in the first place. They told me i didn't have a dog friendly cabin gave me another one at what i thought was a discounted price{ended up not but it being my birthday i didn't want to argue i just wanted to get away from these two people and spend my birthday with my husband and our little dog. We didn't see them and that was fine. Our main goal was to be in the Mountains in Grand Lake. Im sure theyre are more friendlier cabins around is my suggestion to whomever is looking at this property. And no i am not just a grumpy person who likes to give reviews. I try to be honest as i can. The show was so small I couldn’t use it. Im 6’2 and 175bls we only stayed one night then found a different hotel!! They refused to refund us for the nights we didn’t stay!!

The cabin was within walking distance of downtown area. The WiFi was spotty, at best. We were told by one gentleman at the front desk that it might be due to the snow and that was being addressed but it really never improved. We did get one bag of coffee for the coffee maker but one probably needs to ask the front desk for more. We did arrive early and were allowed to check in, which we appreciated.
Shannon (10/5): Great cabins to stay at! - Check in was great, owner was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed to have a good stay. They had parking for our 28ft trailer. Clean cabins well stocked with everything you would need for a weekend! The only thing I was recommend is have a small wood pile by the door of the cabins with a lighter in cabins. the housekeeper showed us the wood pile on site the second day of our stay, being from out of town and our first stay here we had no idea where to look for the wood. But this is a fun town to spend the weekend at and these cabins were a great place to stay! We will stay here again!
