Petite dégustation gratuite de 16h30 à 17h30, de verres de vin , huile d’olive et fromage, à prendre en chambre ou dans le dining room. Et le petit déjeuner très bon, raffiné je dirais. Le propriétaire vient saluer tout le monde le matin, ce qui est une belle attention courtoise et chaleureuse. Les chambres sont impeccables. Il y a même une petite cheminée à l’intérieur. La salle de bains est gigantesque. Le pourboire pour le petit déjeuner. Mais ça c’est notre culture Française.

For example, several tanning chairs were beginning to unravel and needed repair. After setting up all our stuff we realized the umbrella was broken so we had to switch spots—also some sand or rubble in the bottom of the pool and spa. The food was delicious and the drinks were as well. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and we will definitely be back to try the spa services.

• Matt (10/5): Impeccable stay. Wonderful amenities & breakfast! - I was late to check-in around 9 PM but was warmly greeted and provided 5-star service. Even when inquiring about room bottle service after hours at nearly 10:15 PM (via concierge text). 10/10 would stay again in the nicest of rooms, like their Wilderness Suite with incredible jacuzzi tub for one.
• Chrystal (2/5): - Location is absolutely not safe and not recommended for people with disabilities. Or those traveling with service animals. The owners/workers are all over the place looking busy making for an uncomfortable environment. Owners/staff are intrusive and hardly gave us time to enjoy our peace in any of the “relaxing areas”. We had long Hairs in our food on both days. Pool was freezing and unusable. Extremely hard to get into and out of the pool/hot tub due to no stairs or disability chair.. Only 1 of the tiny hot tubs worked.

Room was not very clean. Sheets were dirty and had to request new ones on first night. Remote control for tv was very dirty. Couch and floor were not clean. Lots of scrapes on the walls missing paint. Trim from bathroom door was in very poor condition and heavily scraped up. Pool had lots of debris in it. Room was manzanilla.

The room is small and cozy, sparsely furnished but quite clean with comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is top notch and delicious. We had a great time. Will definitely come back.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - I planned a getaway trip with my 10year old son during his spring break and planned to visit Purple Orchid in Livermore, California. My son was really excited to be away from home and wouldn’t wait to get in pool. We reached @ 1pm and requested manager, EDITH and she right away rejected saying don’t come for check-in before 3pm and called my son “You Indians” ( rolling her eyes ) . I said we just checking if that’s possible and we can wait till the room is ready for us. We went out for lunch and came back at 3 pm. No one was on the counter, EDITH came around 3:10/3:15 or so and asked for ID and Card. My license and wallet was stolen 3 weeks back so I showed her the digital copy which is usually accepted . But I guess, she was in mood to give us the room due to us being from India origin and she did racial profiling and rejected us and did not check us in. My son was in tears when he realized that he won’t be able to stay but that has no impact on her. I showed her other papers to prove my ID but she was really adamant and have made her mind not to give us the room. My 10 year old was very disappointed as he was planning to spend time in pool and to have some fun time away from home . He kept crying for an hour or so and was really dejected with the way EDITH treated us which has never happened in his life before. I hope there won’t be an ill effect on his mental/emotional health due what EDITH said to him and her behavior towards him. I humbly request the management to act

• henry (6/5): Country get away - We were on a romantic getaway and the properties garden lived up to the billing during the day but with no real lighting the outdoor experience was over once the sunset.
• Anton (6/5): Air Conditioning issues in Main house.Midnight-5am - I had to make a call to Gold.Team at around midnight of our first night stay. the air conditioner in our room malfunctioned. The Front Desk closed at 7pm. The A/C was pumping out freezing cold air most of the night. Gold team tried to contact the management. left a message and then I heard nothing. I mentioned this to the management. The problem was resolved for the second night of our stay. I would have thought some offer of compensation would have been in order. I mentioned this first night problem again at check-out and the owner gave us a $19 bottle of Olive Oil as make-up! The rest of our stay was good. The service good. The breakfast likewise. Just a shame that our 10 year anniversary celebration had this problem spoiling one of our two nights!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - My wife and I decided to stay a night here as we were in the San Francisco area and were looking for a nice hotel for the two of us. We had a late check in as we had flown in to LAX and wanted to do a few things prior to checking in. The staff was more than happy to accommodate us and was quick to get us to our room. When we got to our room the front door wouldn't lock so we had someone come out to look at it (Within a few moments), and they quickly fixed the issue for us. We also had issues with the jetted tub as the jets did not work. The staff was quick to help us with the issues, and while the tub still did not work properly they were still very apologetic and helpful. We were also able to try one of the wines that they have in the rooms, it was EXCELLENT and my wife and I (I don't really care for wine), both wish it was sold here at home.

The first night the staff had their little child there yelling and playing up and down the hall. It was noisy and the next night was a wedding reception and it was noisy as well. A great place unless you want some quiet time.

Cleanliness was perfect, the bathroom was nice (we had a room with a Jacuzzi bathtub and stand-up shower.) The room furnishings were a little on the spartan side on the standard room, the bed was new and nice, but very high off the ground so it was not useful for sitting on. Other than that we had no complaints.

We were able to check in early and leave our luggage and when we got back they were all Placed in our room The next morning we had issues with getting a ride to the airport the owner did what she could to get us a taxi and when she saw we were having issues she did not hesitate to get her truck we managed to find a ride from town but we knew if we were going to have issues she would of made the trip to the airport Cannot say enough how wonderful this place was

• Verified traveler (10/5): Breathtakingly beautiful hotel - So I actually stayed here by accident. Something was going on in “The Bay” and every hotel from northern San Fran all the way past San Jose was booked...or price inflated to nearly $1k per night. I opted to make the short drive to this hotel...and holy cow...I wish I actually had the time to stay here for several days. The hotel itself sits at the base of some foothills in wine country. It’s serene and gorgeous. The room I stayed in was the size of an apartment! Huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and a large bedroom and living room. The staff is extremely accommodating and over the top helpful. Like I said...I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

• mercy (6/5): - Not sure why this got high rating... But going to wine country closer to the city seemed like a good idea, and booked this thinking it gave a getaway feeling. But I didn't find it appealing... The grounds needed some upkeep, the building itself is actually a house. It felt like going to someone's house really. It was kind of warm weather when I arrived and the room didn't have AC. There is not much amenities inside the room... The bathroom is wide and clean. Nothing spectacular but it has a jacuzzi tub. I thought it was like a logged room, but it wasn't. I misunderstood the pictures. They did deliver breakfast to the room, and one lady was nice. However, it felt like I troubled them when I requested things. I am not a Bed and Breakfast type, and usually prefer using hotels. This time I thought I would use something different, but unfortunately it didnt hit my spot.
