Guest Reviews
- 75mhf (10/5): Wonderful resort - We stayed in one of the pool view rooms for 10 nights. A very pleasant stay in a clean and peaceful place. Very kind staff. Miki, the hotel reception manager, is very kind boy . Because of Miki and her hospitality and offering the good place and room, we decided to increase our stay from one night to 10 nights.
The alley of the resort is very quiet and close to the main street. Two very clean pools, one for hydrotherapy and children with a shallow depth and the other for swimming. There are 4 types of breakfast with acceptable quality. The rooms are very clean with regular daily cleaning. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
I recommend this resort to my good friends, especially the pool view room, and I will stay here many more times. I wish health and happiness to the manager and dear staff of Rosebay Resort.
Hope to see you soon

- tonyong27 (10/5): Hidden Gem in Pattaya. - We have selected this resort for its location due to the convenience spot in Pattaya. Then we realized when we arrived that they just renovated the whole resort with the new management. The resort seems simple and cozy. The staff are very friendly. The room is so nice and spacious. We stay in an attached Villa next to the swimming pool. Breakfast was enough and good to start the day with your choice of set menu. Finally, we left this resort with an impressive experience and decided to return.
- 9mo_m (8/5): Good clean hotel in a great location - Great place, very charming and clean with great staff. The rooms are a bit out dated but still very clean. The staff was very friendly. The location is amazing and a great value for the price. Totally recommend this hotel
- adam (4/5): very old - very old hotel
not far to supermarket, u can just on foot around 5 min can eat
- 227michellea (8/5): 3rd Visit and still great - So we have been here 3 times now. This trip we booked the pool villas again. Two connecting rooms at the back of the resort with your own pool.
The Resort is clean, neat, beautifully kept garden. The kitchen makes amazing food. there is a Family mart next door and a seafood market down the road and around the corner.
Big C/Central Marina is around the other corner with everything you might need without having to tackle the busy Beach Road.
Walking distance to Beach road, you can jump on a Songtawel and head around to the bars and shops at your leisure.
It's our favourite place because it's cheap, clean, and close to anything you need.
Don't expect luxury but do expect to be satisfied.
- pupu (8/5): - 中国人はいません 静かですよ

- 493vann (6/5): Rose Bay resort - The staffs in night shift were not friendly and couldn't speak English. We arrived at the resort around 3am on 20th Oct and we wanted to check in early since we checked with Agoda if we could check in early in the morning and how much would it charge? Agoda said that they could let us check in early if subject to availability without surcharge.
We discussed about this with the reception and he didn't understand so, he called someone on phone and that one said that we could only check in at 2pm, if we check in early, we had to pay 1,200 Baht for each room, meant we must pay 2,400 Baht for 2 rooms.
That sucked and we denied it. If we knew it would be that way, we already booked another place.
- kevin (10/5): little paradise in the midst of a concrete jungle - its was just amazing i am happy i choose this resort. its was in the heart of town but yet so peaceful. a lot of shopping and good food close by about 5 minutes. Staff very helpful .But please change the geysers to a little bigger as no constant flow of hot water.
i will sure live here again.
- Maxndjo (10/5): Awesome place in pattaya - What else to say aftr giving five stars....
This is value for money place and the most amazing place in pattaya.....
There is another resort (the cottage .....n i stayed here for 10 trips) on the back side of this but once I came to this place I never went to any other place....
Quiet n relaxed....
- BSonsie (8/5): Great Resort, Guest / girl friendly Needs some extra shade - I made a mistake and booked a bungalow without a balcony. I will not make that mistake again. Two pools and one in a private residence you can book if a family.
The same beach lounges that you cannot adjust. Breakfast 120-140 baht so I suggest you buy breakfast when you are there in case you don't want a Continental or American breakfast.
Bring a mug for coffee or Tea as a kettle is provided. Toothbrush, shampoo, soap also provided. Family mart 30 m away if you walk away from second road, has everything you will need.
I like the bungalows, a Fridge, provided, I would order two more pillow, good free WiFi, A safe, water and glasses provided as is a hair dryer. Two main pools both are warm, one has a spa and a lap pool the other the main pool. Do walk around the area to see the pools. Mosquitoes dominate at dusk so bring mosquito repellant. The TV is pretty good. Children it is OK, but not much for them to do, though various games are on the Top floor of the Big C not far away. The air conditioning is good and cleaned on a regular basis. Friendly staff, including English speaking Prim at reception. Ring to see if any specials offered by hotel. All in all a good hotel, "resort", better still if there was more shade.
A 100 m walk from 2nd road and the 10 Baht bay, close to big C, Pizza Hut and KFC. Remember, take a balcony with the bungalow.

- gillespiefrank (10/5): Well run establishment - Rooms are respectable and cleaned daily. Manager is friendly and professional and the pool area superb - only drawback is the hoards of coach driven Chinese tourists outside. You can get EPL football on the TV, fridge and kettle supplied but no tea etc. Big C mall just around corner is very handy for shopping and you can pick up Danish pastries etc for breakfast plus some chopped fresh fruit.
- Montijo (8/5): Very pleasant Hotel if you don't mind the noise outside - I made this Resort my base for travelling around Asia even thou it was a bit far from the Airport but I also wanted somewhere near the sea and not too near the noise bars, I my choice was average, as the noise from the outside from coaches and people made it sometimes uncomfortable, my apartment was right on top of the reception with the main road behind it, once you block your self from it its fine, plus when it was busy I wasn't there anyway so it didn't made much difference, I would suggest if you are solo traveller (like I was I was travelling) I would book the bungalows, I will be returning to this Hotel due to its location, it has a 24 hours supermarket open, taxi bikes nearby, walking distance to everywhere, I highly recommend it but as I said if you don't mind the noise. The staff are very helpful but English is minimum, there a lady called ( I called her Sam ) at the reception is fantastic, behind the counter theres also a menu if you fancy staying in, cold drinks and ice a 20 baht a bucket.
- BSonsie (8/5): Very good but better now with a very efficient English speaking "receptionist" - Girl friendly, Small child friendly, teenagers could be bored. I went for a bungalow big enough for a couple. Close to two Family marks, and C&N department store/ supermarket. Spa next door 400 baht for an oil massage without the "funny" bits. Near second road, and 10 Baht "bus" it is opposite Big Eye.
two clean swimming pools, one more a lap pool, Spa.
Electric kettle supplied, refrigator, pool towels. TV. Safe in room. Free and quick WiFi, air con.
I opted to have breakfast and it was good.
Buy coffee / Tea and a Mug to make your own. Bring mosquito repellant.
Many different rooms available including family rooms, one which comes with its own pool.
Laundry slow but quite cheap.
I wished they had different pool lounges, and shade over a section of the pool, then again... I stayed here before and will again.
- J M M Revez (10/5): Thailand-Pattaya - Great Hotel, fantastic staff specially the reception lady Sam. Unfortunately the hotel is situated opposite a very busy show place with lots of coaches and people.
I would suggest to the owners of the hotel to instal a shower by the pool and more beds and umbrellas.
I'll return.
Thank you for a great stay.
- iamo64 (10/5): Rose Bay Resort is an Excellent Place to Stay - Rose Bay Resort is a fantastic place to stay – located perfectly within reach of food, entertainment & transport. From the neat bungalows, to a leisurely swim in the pool, it felt like home within a very short time.
Rose Bay Resort’s staff are courteous, helpful & kind. They will even organise any transport you need and have a car pick you up - magic. I would recommend a stay to anyone who wishes to be located in the North Pattaya / Naklua Region for their holiday.
Thank you Rose Bay Resort.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good Clean Hotel. Not far from shopping and the night life. There are many buses at night coming down the street so there is a little noise to be heard from the buses driving and the sound of whistles.
- 294MichaelG (10/5): Relaxing at rose bay - Great little hotel located just off second road 2 nice pools in quiet hotel.. excellent staff from throughout day and night..highly recommended. ..and beautiful hotel cat if you like cats you will have a new friend
- Rakesh (8/5): Excellent - Excellent stay can stay again but weather in pattaya was day time very hot. Rest everything good. Staff was also good and smiling .
- BSonsie (8/5): Great location. Clean rooms. Girl Guest friendly, good place also for children - Great Location just off Second Road on Soi 1. close to Big C shopping centre. This resort has Two pools and a spa. Air conditioned Bungalow cottages Clean, Safe in room, good free WiFi. If you are a couple you might consider breakfast. Best to book this place on the Internet. I really cannot fault this place and will come back again. Towels provided for room and pool as razor blades, soap, Cotton buds nice to have. Refrigerator, TV
I suggest you bring a mug and coffee or tea as an electric jug is provided. Family mark and 7/11 very close by. Girl / Guest friendly I suggest you book a double room if alone and buy breakfast as required. Comfortable bed. Double rooms available. The staff are nice, a pity their English is very limited.
- Verified traveler (6/5): convenient and cheap - convenient and cheap
- 227michellea (8/5): Easy access, clean and cheap - We stayed here again for 4 nights, clean, cheap, empty! The low season is a great time, felt like we had the hotel to ourselves.
Two pools to choose from and a Jacuzzi, close to massages etc.
Big EYE is across the road which can be noisy and lots of traffic, but a quick walk down towards second road gets to so many food markets and restaurants it's a great location for a quick stay in Pattaya. Although the In house food was amazing if you didn't want to go out.
Rooms were serviced daily., close to lots of action, grab a songtaw on second road to get to the action for only 10thb.
Thanks.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfortable rooms. Work is unskilled employees. - 2가지종류의수영장,가까운쇼핑몰과유흥거리,어리바리한직원,넓고편한객실좋은매트리스,조금아쉬운화장실과샤워실.
Comfortable rooms.
There are two swimming pools.
Nearest shopping mall.
Work is unskilled employees.
- Verified traveler (4/5): rose bay - ยุงเยอะมาก
- J6293UUnicolep (6/5): Noisey - We stayed here in March after I had surgery. It is situated across the road from a very popular night venue. Tour buses and whistles until early hours of the morning makes it noisy. Hotel is clean but communication was difficult with some staff. I needed extra pillows for comfort and I was charged for this and I have never experienced this ever in any hotel. We cracked a glass and was charged. We had laundry cleaned and we never received our change he simply walked off. Rooms are very clean. Air con and door were not working and this was dealt with quickly. Hot water is a shocker. The water pressure comes and goes and is quite annoying.
- Pouyan (4/5): !!!! - there was a group of British guest, making noise and disturbing all others, hotel didn't ask them to stop.
- Chris (8/5): Comfortable/Pleasant Accomodations - I have stayed at a multitude of different hotels and resorts in the Pattaya area over the last 10 years. I have stayed at the 5 stars and the 2 stars and I can say that the Rose Bay Resort is a very strong 3 star accommodation! The first impressions of the hotel were great. I landed in the early morning at BKK and I phoned the hotel while driving to Pattaya. The staff were happy to allow me to check in early...5 hours early. The rooms are comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the basic features of the room. These rooms are nothing fancy. The air conditioning works great, the TV has a variety of channels, and mini-bar is stocked. The bathroom has a huge Asian style standing shower. The water is heated with a water heater you must turn on. If you are spending lots of time in the room in Pattaya you are probably not having fun. So venture out. The hotel is right off 2nd road and 1 street over from the Big C shopping mall. At night the street out front of the hotel is packed with buses picking up and dropping off tourists that are hitting the multitude of venues in the area. The hotel pool is great. The sunlight is over the pool area all day long. There are towels staged at the pool area with plenty of lounge chairs available. We stayed at a bungalow right in the main area and our room had a small porch area out front. The Wi-Fi is excellent and reaches every corner of the complex. We enjoyed our stay at the Rose Bay Resort!!
- Morten (8/5): Fantastisk Resort - Bodde her i 21 dager, og hadde et fint opphold her. Hyggelig

- Richard (10/5): Little piece of paradise - Probably the best location hotel I saw in the whole of pattaya if you don't want noise at 3 in the morning it's far enough away from the noise not to hear but walking distance to most things (baht bus for the rest)
- dj_syko (10/5): Paradise retreat - After just getting back home from 2 weeks in pattaya (see other reviews for pattaya) I stayed at rose bay
I was unsure of pattaya so wasn't sure what to expect and spent weeks looking on hotel booking sites at many hotels which I can honestly say I'm so glad I went with my final choice
The location is at the top end of pattaya where it starts to calm down but it's down a side road with not a lot more (not that make noise late at night)
The room was clean and tidy massive bed changed daily tv safe air con
When we got there it was very quiet but picked up later in the second week
Staff are friendly and always seem happy to see you
All in all it was a very pleasant stay and if I return to pattaya no doubt I will book this place it's should be double/treble the price due to location etc
- webbysam (10/5): Best hotel in Pattaya - I've been visiting Pattaya for 12 years and I have to say that this is the best hotel I've stayed at, the staff are excellent, the rooms are big, location is close to everything you'll need and the price is competitive with any similar hotel I've stayed at.
I will be returning to Pattaya in September and I will be staying at Rosebay :)
- aliyab2013 (8/5): Quiet place to stay - Having been built in November last year this hotel looks fresh and stylish. I recommend this hotel to those who are looking for peace and quiet amidst Sin City. It was a pleasure to come back after a big party to a quiet hotel room and crash in a big nice bed. There is Big Eye sex show on the opposite side of the road, FamilyMart at the corner, 3D Gallery Art in Paradise and Drinking Street at a walking distance.
A fly in the ointment: breakfast is not rich in dishes... Eggs every day... My advice - go out for a meal.
- 227michellea (8/5): Wonderful place for the Family - WE had a wonderful stay at this resort. Only opened in November 2012, it was fresh, clean, happy and so very welcoming. Just off 2nd Road, it was walking distance to transport and the beach (5-10 mins)
The staff were friendly (and there 24hours) the facilities were good.
We rented the private pool bungalows (3 adults and a 2.5 year old) with a joining door. Having our own pool (deep) and gate made it feel as if we were home. Able to relax and leave our swimmers and pool toys just on the veranda with no worry about them going missing. We had our own lounges, deck chairs, table and chairs etc. The rooms were clean, beds were a little hard (but that isn't unusual in Thailand) good choice of English TV Channels (a little jealous of a couple).
Tea and coffee facilities weren't provided in the room and the resort's bar wasn't well stocked, However the staff were happy to pop down to the 7/11 and grab you some beer if you requested (we preferred to walk down ourselves..) but room service had a wonderful array of food to choose from and just outside was food as far as you can see! the 7/11 and family mart on the corner was handy for snacky supplies and extra bottled water.
Only a small complex(couldn't be more than 40 rooms and bungalows), it offered 3 pools! (including ours) and one is classed as a toddler pool. It would have been no deeper than 50cm and was perfect for our little one. Lots of lovely furniture and shade for those not wanting to turn into lobsters.
Breakfast was simple.. eggs, bacon, toast. but the chef made a mean scrambled egg!!
Across the road was Big EYE... as of our stay we still haven't worked out exactly what it is. I think it's a burlesque type show..(the big eye website left us completely confused) from about 4pm till 11ish huge tour buses pack the street as there is a bus park across the road. This was noisy if you were in the lobby but didn't detract from our stay at all.
I can recommend this resort quite highly. i would like to see them add maybe some child friendly equipment for play time? They already have the perfect pool there and would be able to market to families if they added this too.
