• Anish (6/5): Some of the young staff that take people out on events aren’t mindful of their use of words or tone ! Not cool, gotta be - The staff and the general vibe was pretty rad! Communal toilets need better cleaning.
• Lucrezia (1/5): Sporco e disordinato - I Puncake a colazione Che non si potessero aprire le finestre nelle camere. Ero in quella da 12 e lascio immaginare l'odore che c'era. Poi non c'era niente in cui poter mettere le cose, quindi la stanza era piena di borse, panni sporchi, scarpe, panni puliti e qualsiasi cosa in terra. Anche le zone comuni erano sporche, nel letto le lenzuola mi hanno dato la sensazione di sporco, e la location e' un quartiere caotico e bruttarello

• Helmi (9/5): - Huone oli siisti ja tilava! Huoneessa oli oma kylpyhuone, josta oli ovi myös toiseen 12 naisen hostellihuoneeseen, mikä ei välttämättä ollut mikään paras juttu. Yleistilat olivat kivat! Aamupala oli todella hyvä ja palvelukin pääosin oli hyvää. Kaikki henkilökunnasta ei ollut niin mukavia toisilleen. Viimeisen aamupalatilauksen yhteydessä työntekijä teki ihan muuta kuin otti tilaukseni ja jouduin odottelemaan. Sitten toinen työntekijä huomasi tilanteen ja tuli ottamaan tilaustani. Tilausta varten hän tarvitsi nimeni, joka voi olla vähän hankala, hun nimi ei ole englanninkielinen. Sitten tämä työntekijä töykeästi sanoi ja huokaili miten se kirjotetaan, vaikka itse oli vaan vieressä puhelimella. Ei luonut kovin hyvää tunnelmaa. Myös kun olin tilaukseni tehnyt, kokki jutteli ulkona jonkun ystävänsä kanssa 10min ennenkuin meni valmistamaan aamupalaa.

• Carolina (1/5): Disappointed, frustrated, regretted - Location. I totally regret booking this place. It was so unpleasant that changed the mood of my holidays. To start with, the price you see on booking.com app is not the final price like any other place. They charge 2,5% surcharge on the top of it. The breakfast food (one option per person) is free and served on a plastic plate, like in kindergarten. In what world the concept of breakfast does not include the coffee?? Wtf!!! The bathroom hasn't seen a proper cleaning for a long time as you can see on the pictures. Towels left in the room were humid. Asked for fresh towels and a hand towel and got the same humid bath towels and no hand towels..is it too much to ask when paying $200/night? There was a hand wash dispenser, but empty. The closet had no lights. The window won't stay close as the lock was broken, so all the noise from outside including the loud people on the bar downstairs would be heard. The room smells bad with the air conditioner off. There was no cutlery, no cup, no tissue, nothing. We end spending more money than expected and for a shit place.
• Imanism (7/5): - Staffs were friendly. The room is spacious. I think we only share the bathroom/toilet with another 2 rooms, so most of the time it was unoccupied. There is a swimming pool near the entrance, so it suits those whole love to socialize. I think there is also a gaming room but it was always occupied. I need to install an app to unlock the room door, so I had to always bring my phone even to shower. There was no kettle in the room, and I could not find any water dispenser neither anywhere, so we were a bit dehydrated on that night. The room wall is not cement, maybe just like plywood or something similar, so we heard everything the couple next door were talking, and I'm very sure they too heard us well. It's about 17 minutes walk to the beach, so not far, but yet not so near. And the room is on the top floor (2nd floor from G), so we had to carry the luggages up by staircases.
• Valeriia (6/5): An honest review of this hostel. Not the best place if you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet, comfort and a kitche - It was quite clean. Personal is friendly Unfortunately, I didn’t really like it here. I was staying in a room with 10 girls. The bed was terribly sagging in the middle; I kept falling into that dip all night, which was very uncomfortable. The room smelled awful and was a complete mess, as there was nowhere to store things and no curtains for privacy. The bathrooms were okay. Unfortunately, there are no rules of conduct or quiet hours at the hostel, and my roommates (and the girls from the neighbouring rooms) were talking loudly with the lights on until late at night, even though there was a lounge area right outside the door. I didn’t see a kitchen in the hostel; I reckon there simply isn’t one, or perhaps I just didn’t spot it, but that would be odd. All the good reviews are probably based partly on the fact that for a 5-star rating, they offer you free coffee for breakfast. I don’t drink coffee, so here’s my honest answer :) I was disappointed because the reviews were good and I always go by them.
• Baris (8/5): Nice stay in private room - I stayed in one of the private rooms, which are located in an adjacent building, away from the pool and common areas. It was quieter and the room was very spacious. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. I wish there were hangers or hooks to hang things in the room.

• Janine (8/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt - Freundliches Personal, viele Möglichkeiten, seinen Laptop einzustecken und gemütlich draussen im Schatten zu arbeiten. Viele gehen nach Gold Coast Surfers Paradise um Party zu machen - dazu gibt es viele Angebote vom Hostel, sich dazuzugesellen, wenn man das möchte. Gewisse Bereiche werden am Abend zugunsten der Nachtruhe geschlossen und es war dann jeweils tatsächlich sehr ruhig. Guter Kaffee, kostenloses Frühstück mit guter Auswahl, Restaurant/Bar mit relativ günstigem, gutem Essen. Viel Programm/Unterhaltung, u.a. Pilates, was sehr gut war. Badezimmer war jeweils sehr sauber. Schöne Zimmer mit bequemen, stabilen Betten. Keine Küche um selbst zu kochen, keine Schliessfächer im Zimmer, zu wenig Ablageflächen in Duschen, um Kleider zu deponieren.

• Audrey (7/5): Perfecte locatie, vriendelijk personeel, mooie uitstraling! - Wij sliepen in de studio in Surf House, een mega appartement! Veel ruimte, private terras, goede airco en schoon. Gratis ontbijt ook erg lekker! Ze waren hele middagen bezig met het schuren en opknappen van picknicktafels, natuurlijk erg fijn maar het geluidsoverlast met een kater was niet zo prettig.

Breakfast was fantastic, I had pancakes so can’t comment for the other options. Place was clean and the rooms a decent temperature. Lack of curtains in the beds of the shared dorm.

They mix the rooms well, when I was working, i was put in a room with everyone who went to bed early and when I said I was getting in late, I arrived and everyone in my room did the same thing and slept in. Clean and comfortable. Lots of common spaces. Easy to check in and Great customer service I would highly recommend this hostel!

The beds were really comfortable, the location was just a 6 min walk from the main street that lead to beach and the lightrail. Every night the staff and the people go out together for bar. A really social hostel. Would recommend anyone to stay i was really satisfied with everything. The shower and bathroom were also clean!!!! They over food and drinks as well beside the free breakfast! They don't have a kitchen, but thats alright. Most of the times you're out during the day anyway and you have a nice breakfast in the morning!:)
