Guest Reviews
- Kalle (6/5): - The view is what you pay for, and it is magnificen and the restaurant is awesome. But it needs a deep cleaning and a restoration to get out from the 90s. I need a tetanus shot.
- jacksE7944FX (10/5): Great service and food - this is an amazing venue to bring the family definitely recommend to everyone amazing food and amazing service host is lovely and very the passionfruit honey soda is one of the best drinks ive ever had
- Daniel (4/5): - The doors and windows were not fully sealed, I could hear everything, sometimes could smell motor vehicle fumes.
The hotel is dated and needs upgrades.
Hotel staff were pleasant but they can't help the condition of the premises.
Expedia should stop recommending this hotel.
- Jonathan (4/5): Low standard - Good location and fantastic view from the bedroom, everything else was really poor. Staff never greeted us during our stay, cleaning was just a simple swipe and change the towels. Sheets were never changed during 8 days. Water turned off for several hours for 2 days, no information at all from staff. Aircon barely worked and usally dripped water (placed just above the bed).
- Patrick (4/5): - Hôtel très vieillot
- Brigitte (2/5): - Hôtel vieillot
- robjackson_97 (2/5): The worst hotel and most misleading photos in Koh Samui and on Expedia - I travel 9 months every year and the Enjoy Hotel is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in more than 5 years. The pictures on the website are so misleading, it’s fraud.
Unfortunately I can’t post the photos of the room that clearly show the room in no way reflects the room advertised on the Expedia website. The ceiling had extensive water damage and I’m assuming from the staining on the walls they are damaged as well. The bathroom toilet was broken and the shower had extensive mold growing in the bottom of the shower pan. The door to the front balcony was taped over with duct tape. The ocean balconyfurniture was covered in bird excrement and the outside light is hanging by wires. The floor in the room was missing multiple tiles and in one place concrete had been pored to replace tiles. And while I can’t say definitely I believe the bed was infected with bugs. I briefly looked behind the tv which was completely filthy.
There is no management at the hotel so you have no one to bring your grievances to and Expedia states they just follow hotel policy. I immediately started looking for a new room after my arrival and another hotel owner told me the current owner left the island and has conducted no maintenance on the property for several years. The attached restaurant, supplies a person to clean rooms. They told us that no could fix the toilet or replace burnt out lights. The cleaner stated the bedding was so bad her boss bought clean sheets just so guest didn’t sleep in filth.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and spacious room - Was a nice place with a view l. Only thing which was not 100% was he shower. Was not really clean and the doors was missing some wheels. Other then that it was great and in the middel of everything.
- GokulLalwani (2/5): Awful experience - We booked 3 rooms here, as a family of 7, staying 3 nights. We arrived early, maybe a little before noon. There's no reception. This hotel is really a restaurant, with 6 rooms above it. So the restaurant staff said our room wouldn't be ready till 2PM. We had lunch down the road, and returned after 2PM. Our rooms still weren't ready. It was 2:45 when they said ONE room was ready. We went up to find a room with a wet floor, reeking of floor disinfectant. There was no running water. Came back down to reception, who told us that this area didn't have running water between 3PM and 9PM. This turned out to be untrue. At 3:30, they offered us a 2nd room. This one had no running water either, and the WC didn't flush. The 3rd room, well, they said it would take awhile. They mentioned the room number, but then asked us not to go there. And obviously, we went there. The door wasn't locked, so we entered, and there was a bewildered, angry plumber in there shouting something in Thai. He had a dozen pipes on the floor, the washbasin wasn't connected, and the room reeked of sewage. Anyways, we saw the keys lying on the table and took them. "Reception" aka one of 3 waitresses at the restaurant, was most unapologetic. She really didn't even want to face us and converse. Our booking was non-refundable, so the 3rd party we booked through didn't offer us any compensation or remedial action. We walked the street and found another accommodation after some hunting. But at each one we asked if they had running water, and the response was a resounding "YES!" They looked most surprised that we were even asking.
We hung onto our keys for Enjoy Beach for the next 3 nights. Used the rooms a bit, to drop off heavy bags, to have a drink by the sea. The AC in one room didn't cool. The WC in another didn't flush. "Housekeeping", if they had been to our room, had just allowed the smell of feces to fester in that one room. A bed was rickety and noisy. It was all just a huge joke as an operation!
- R5228LWlisab (2/5): Terrible Hotel - Terrible hotel. Ran out of water for over 12 hrs and staff didn't want to know about it. Couldn't use any facilities and when we asked for a partial refund we were told to contact Agoda "not our problem" I have read it is common. The place also needs a lot of maintenance. No TV, remote broken, door handles falling off, floor tiles broken and lifting. Location is good but that's it. Nothing like the photo's.

- Gokul (2/5): - We booked 3 rooms at Enjoy, but we did not end up staying here. We kept the keys and used it as a spot to drop shopping or cool off.
Upon arrival, staff were completely indifferent and informed us that check-in time was 1pm. We dined nearby and returned at 2pm, they informed us that 1 room was ready. When we went to the first room, it was dirty, aged, and there was no running water. Around 3:30pm, they had another room ready for us. This one was dirtier still, with a hopelessly small bathroom, and no running water. At 4pm, they happened to tell us which room would be our third, and that it was being cleaned. So we decided to stroll in for inspection. We were met with a pile of pipes on the floor by the door, and a very hostile plumber yelling in Thai. There was a rancid smell of sewage in the air. We stuck our head into the bathroom, despite the angry plumber, and it was a mess. This room was not being cleaned at all, it was undergoing major maintenance. Staff at reception, which is nothing more than the cashier's counter at their restaurant, were very very indifferent. They told us the area received running water from 3pm to 9pm, and that this was common to all coastal areas in Samui. Not only was it our 13th day in coastal Samui, it was also 4pm, and we had already looked at guesthouses nearby, who mind you, had running water at 3pm, and at 4pm. Anyways, we made other bookings, and left with our belongings and their keys. They didn't notice or care.
- Robert (10/5): - I do not like surveys when in a hurry
- Verified traveler (2/5): Too much mold - The room was disgusting. The entire bathroom smelled like mold, and the shower didn't drain. My throat is sore. Not sure if this is healthy to live in.
The linens were very clean, and the workers were very nice. The only issue were the mold spores everywhere.
- Andre (4/5): - Cheap, convienient to Market.
- nigel robert (10/5): - Property in ideal location and superb views.Staff very friendly and accommodating.Room satifactory, always hot water for shower and large fridge, but could do with a little tlc.Excellent value for money and onsite restaurant very good.
- Joram (4/5): - Very old hotel
Shower was not working low pressure
Promised room was a different one
Lots of noise from the street
Breakfast is different than the picture on the menu
Personal does not speak English
- DanyK215 (6/5): Good for the price - Location is superb - you are a one minute walk from everything in Fisherman's village. Room was clean enough but there were small ants everywhere and air con wasn't the best. They did have a fan which was nice. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable - I couldn't get to sleep. Furniture and room are pretty old; kitchen sink was leaking the whole time. Although I asked for a high floor room, I was put on the first floor right above the restaurant. You can hear the noise of the dishes and what's worse is the smell - it carried from the restaurant into the room. Beautiful view from the room but I couldn't sit and enjoy the balcony since all you could smell was the restaurant when you went outside. For some people this may not be an issue but being sensitive to smell and noise, it didn't make for an enjoyable stay.
- Mirjam (10/5): - Nice
- Leza (10/5): Excellent stay - We booked this as a cheap hotel close to the airport for 1 night. I wish we’d stayed longer! It is on the main Fisherman’s Village street so walking distance to everything. Our balcony overlooked the beach as it’s only a few metres away
- 191archiec (10/5): Great hotel with the best view ! - The most amazing view from our room balcony, room was big and had everything we needed. Staff were fantastic so kind and helpful and every night they set up tables at dinner time to eat on the beach on the evenings and the food is brilliant !
- Natasha (8/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
- Christian (8/5): - Zentral gelegen direkt am Strand. Nettes Personal.
- U7909BHvictorial (10/5): Great stay with lovely staff! - This hotel is awesome. I stumbled across it by chance whilst solo travelling, planned to stay one night. I ended up extending because I just felt so at home and wasn’t quite done there yet. I then left, carried on travels and ended up going back to Bophut and staying at Enjoy Beach again to show a friend now with me just how great the place is. But the highlight was a lovely lady who worked there called KIM. She made the stays for me. And a huge reason I returned to Enjoy Beach. She was so warm, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and great at her job. Went above and beyond and I’ll never forget her face when I returned for the second time- joyous. What an amazing human.
I thoroughly recommend this place. Locations also perfect and the rooms are spacey right on the beachfront- awesome.
- Chelsea (6/5): - Let me start by saying that the view from the room was AMAZING. We were on the top floor with a 180 view of the bay. The room is spacious, there is no denying that. Now...the rooms need serious upgrading and TLC. There were multiple semi finished repairs to include a door taped in duct tape. The AC unit was out dated and not large enough for the room. Our real deal breaker was the electrical issues. We couldnt take a shower or run hot water without the breaker tripping. Meaning we had to turn off the lights, fan and AC to get a shower or run the sink. We lasted one out of the 4 nights we booked before we left for another hotel.
Positives:
Friendly staff
Great views
Spacious room
Excellent location
Negatives:
Outdated
In disrepair
Probable roof leaks
AC
Electrical issuea
- Gábor (10/5): Friendly, clean, helpful - Wonderful stay, room with best beach view, very friendly and helpful staff
- Glen Robin (2/5): Toenail on nightstand - We came to the hotel, got checked in to a room on the 2.floor. when we came into the room, we saw that the room wasnt even cleaned from the last visit. There was a finger/toenail on the nightstand, there were long black hairs laying all around the room. There was dust in every corner of the hotelroom. In all a very disappointing experience for us.
We packed our bags and left to another hotel. The manager of the hotel promised us that we would get a refund of the room, but she did not give the money back. She didnt even answer the phone when we tried to get in touch with her.
- sallyr280 (10/5): Brilliant - Lae Lae had been to the market to buy fresh fish. It was snapper & was completely delicious. We had it as catch of the day, with salad/fries/rice. Good value, great service with a smile. Sat on the beach by torch light
- Verified traveler (2/5): First time bad experience for my trip. - I didn’t stay at this hotel since the hotel doesn’t have car parking area as they claimed.
The owner ask me to park my car along the narrow street. And at that time there is no space available and I’m too tired to driving to find new parking.(finding new hotel is more easier)
Finally, I decided to find new hotel.
The hotel didn’t refund my money and Hotels.com cannot help me.
May be next time I should try to use another agency for my booking.
And of cause I will also share this bad experience to all of my friends and colleagues.
- liamhM7089GM (10/5): Great food and service - Great food and great vibe on the beach. Jo was our waiter and he was amazing! The best service we’ve had in Ko Samui!! We had the tuna tartar, panaeng and Tom yum and it was divine! They even gave us free shots of lychee rum after our meal. Overall 10/10
- andreakatalinm (10/5): Rooms with ocean view - I had a very nice stay in Enjoy beach hotel. The rooms have balcony and oceanview. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and had water boiler so you could make coffee and tea. The large fridge was nice too as you can fill it up for nice cold refreshments and fruits. The restaurant has a huge selection of French vines (but also Australian and California). I loved the home made pate from the restaurant. The owner, Eric, is very nice and attentive to his guests. He personally greats them and helps them so many different ways.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not like the photos, loud, bad bathroom, nice view - Oh boy. The owner greeted us and said he gave us the nicest room for our honeymoon. Great! Upon seeing the room it did not look like the pictures. The room itself is ok but the bathroom was horrible. Old and dirty looking and the water barely worked. It would just randomly not turn on. Not fun with a body full of soap! Also, it’s not soundproofed at all. It’s right in fisherman’s village which is great but there’s a bar that has live music that goes very late across the way. That’s not the hotels fault, but be warned there is a man named “bob color” who takes karaoke requests and sings at the top of his lungs until 2:30am. We didn’t want to complain or anger the owner because he said it was the nicest room in the whole joint. I just wish the owner posted more honest pics of this property so people can manager their expectations. Air conditioner leaked water and safe did not work. Door to patio made loud screeching noise every time you opened it. However, It has a wonderful view of the ocean and is in the heart of all the action and the staff was so friendly. The owner told us to come in for a free honeymoon cocktail which I thought was very nice. Unfortunately, they tasted exactly like cough syrup. It was alarming. They’re definitely trying. It’s honestly fine for a night or two but 3 nights was too much.
- 996pierrickg (10/5): Great experience with a beautiful view ! - We have been at Enjoy with my family and we litterally loved it ! We had dinner on the beach, the surroundings are beautiful and the view is astonishing ! The staff was smiling and very professional ! We had thai specialities with a french twist, everything was very tasty !
The french manager was great, giving us good tips regarding Ko Samui !
I can't wait to be back !
I highly recommend this restaurant !
- Brandon (10/5): Lovely hotel - Beautiful view and spacious room. Owner was friendly and helpful, great location in the centre of Fisherman's Village.
- brandonsM2740NC (10/5): Beautiful hotel - My wife and I spent a night here on our way to Koh Tao. The location is great, with a spectacular view. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and nice personable touches such as books and decent patio furniture. Would definitely book again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like this place, is so nice to Wake up with the sea in front !
Staff and boss very friendly, clean room, excellent dinner with affordable prices !!
I'll be back .
- 145lizad (10/5): Fantastastic small hotel - We spent several nights in this very pleasant hotel. This hotel also has an ideal location in the heart of fisherman’s village where there are many restaurants, shops and spas.. We had booked for 3 nights but so seduit we stayed 4 more nights. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, very clean, the bed very confortable and all with a stunning view of the sea and Koh phangan island.
The hotel’s restaurant is perfect both for breakfast and for dinner where you can enjoy a delicious French food.
All staff were great and helpful and we strongly recommend this hotel without hesitation
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- chestnutdegrigri (10/5): Splendid sea view , good value - Spacious and very clean bedroom with a splendid Sea view. Very pleasant and helpful meal staff. Romantic scrumptious dinner on the beach . Good breakfast , can’t miss fresh mango juice Good value. Worth it.
- 79lum (10/5): Excellent as always - This is my second time coming to stay there and I was pleasantly surprised.
The rooms were redone and they are very warm and welcoming, clean and full of light.
The decorations fit in perfectly with the surroundings, and it is a very nice place to come back to after a long day exploring the island.
I strongly encourage you to come there for your holidays :D
- Harkol68 (2/5): Shabby and dirty - Had prepaid three rooms for one week, checked out after 30 minutes. Dirty rooms with horrible indoor air quality. Molds in bathrooms causing smell, cockroaches on the floor. A/C hardly working signs of waterleaks in both ceiling and walls. No refund causing no recomendation for either this hotel or hotels.com
- JDM4455 (8/5): Great for the price! - I stayed one night in room #8, which is on the top floor. The room was spacious and had a balcony and a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly and kind. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room itself is simple. It has the feel of one of those "off brand" old Route 66 motels and has a bit of character. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the refrigerator was fine, and the bathroom was just fine. The hotel is centrally located in the middle of Fisherman's Village, which is awesome! I recommend this hotel for the young, single crowd or solo travelers because, for the price, it's great. However, if you're looking for a romantic evening, I would look for other options. Good stay!
- Amy (6/5): - Location is very nice. There's a dead cockroach found in the bathroom.
- consensusworks (8/5): Great location, friendly staff, good value & an amazing French restaurant on the beach - Our upper floor unit facing the ocean came with a nice balcony for sitting and taking in the scenery, and enough space to spend some time together without getting under each others feet! Decent bathroom and a small fridge and kettle to help in the prep of indoor beverages. There's no elevator, and our three-floor walk up the stairs might put some people off. The staff were all keen to help with getting the bags upstairs though, and that was much appreciated. Good place! (The bonus is the first-rate French restaurant downstairs, which also has excellent beach tables - we had fun with our friends J and M there one night, and we'd return in a second!!)
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location, rooms are a bit tired. Air conditioning did not work well. But not bad for what you pay.
- paulwN2426TG (6/5): Some excellent spa's close to hotel - Great location excellent views from your room pleasant staff.staying in a deluxe double room on the top floor with three buckets to catch the rain coming through the ceiling. If you book this room ask if the roof has been repaired before you part with your money. It seems to rain most days in November
- Glenice (8/5): Great Ocean View. - Enjoy Hotel is right in the heart of Fisherman's Village so it is near all the action. I was there when it was quiet, off season so noise was not a problem and my room had a marvellous view overlooking the the ocean. I imagine busy season it may be noisy but it's very convenient, great staff who help you with all your needs, restaurant below. (There is no lift, two flights stairs) but staff carry your luggage). Room is all white, light and clean, comfortable bed. The bathroom is nice but lighting very low.
- MissGallivanter (8/5): Beautiful View - I stayed here with my friend back in March after a week in Phuket.
The location of the hotel was amazing! We got a little confused when they dropped us off the mini bus. We didn’t expect it to be where it was.
The staff helped us to our rooms with our suitcases, which was a big help as there is no lift. However there is only a few stairs, so it’s not that bad.
The air conditioning in the room was not the best at all. It was quite loud at times and hardly blew out any cold air!
We eat breakfast at the hotel every morning, which was lovely. The staff were always very friendly. I always had a laugh and joke with Fanny, she was lovely,
We would spend most afternoons on the beds outside the hotel drinking cocktails! The staff made a fantastic mojito, every time! :o)
Although the air con could have been better, I would definitely stay here again. It has the best view and perfect location.
- Glenice (8/5): Great view - The best part of this room is the view and that is why I chose it. It is on walking street at Fishermans Village but at back overlooking the beach and ocean so noise did not affect me, although I was there on quiet nights and off season. I had the Std Double with Sea View. The room is a decent size, clean and light, with comfy bed, a/c, it’s all white tiled and lacks a bit of warmth, but all needs are met, just lacks warmth and creativety. Small balcony. Coffee/tea making facilities and fridge. You will need to climb 2 flights of stairs t get there. The staff are friendly and helpful and carried all my luggage up and down and organised taxi to airport. (400bht) . The restaurant is underneath, but I did not eat there so cannot comment.
- Joanne (8/5): Have a yummy mojito overlooking the water! - This is a well located small hotel. All rooms are up steep stairs, so be advised it’s not for anyone who has trouble with that. Nice young staff was helpful.
- Joanne (8/5): Try the mojito! - In Koh Samui for a wedding. This was a convenient spot to recharge after a long flight. Great staff, good location. Try a mojito!
- Alaizzarr (6/5): Quite good - Stayed for 2 nights then moved elsewhere.
What I liked:
- Friendly staff
- Large, spacious room with large fridge and 2 sinks
- Nice view of the beach
- They have a fan (uncommon)
- Taste of food
- Great location (beach side, near markets, near convenience store)
What could have improved:
- Staff should be more responsive. Although staff are friendly, they are quite slow. I had to ask some staff at least twice to take action
- Almost none of the staff spoke Thai. Some speak better English, some broken English. Most of them are Burmese. If they speak Thai, it's also broken Thai.
- The toilet light kept going off because the bulb was loose. I had to ask the staff twice (4 times because of being slow) to fix it.
- Aircon was not so cold although switched down to 18C, thankfully the fan was there!
- I found 4 cockroaches in total: 1 was a tiny one on the bed which I removed, 1 was grown and dead below the sink near the fridge, 1 was medium sized and dead in the bathroom behind the toilet, and another larger one in the bathroom running around. Had to ask staff to remove that last one. Also 1 grown gecko in the bedroom but that did not bother me.
- I wish there was a separate part for shower... it shared everything with the rest of the toilet (no walls to separate) so water was all over the place if not super careful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A laid-back service hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location. We can see the by our room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great spot - Convenient and simple hotel right in the heart of fisherman’s village. Great view from balcony on the beach.
- Ranjit-Muay (6/5): - Stayed 04-Nov-2017 for 1 night in standard room number 3 without breakfast. There is no lift but the porter carried my bags up to the 1st floor. I couldn’t find the safe, finally located it under the sink, however it was locked. The manager gave me the master-key which was labelled and kept in his unlocked drawer. On opening the safe I found that 2 of the 4 batteries were missing so I used the master-key instead of setting a combination. The French manager said ‘This is Thailand not France, no one will take anything’ pointing to the cameras inside the hotel.
The room had a huge fridge-freezer, books on shelves, magazines to read. I don’t think there was a phone. There was only a single 330ml bottle of water.
Bathroom was dingy due to a broken light. This was fixed whilst I went for a 1 hour walk. The shower is curtained off.
I couldn’t get into the hotel at night, the doors were locked. Eventually I realised that next to the reception entrance were sliding doors which were obscured by sofas and chairs during the day.
Breakfast was not included, so the next morning whilst I was looking at the menu in the dining area the manager hassled me to sit down. He was not impressed when I did decided not to sit down and eat breakfast.
My biggest disappointment was not seeing any boats. There was a nice view of the crashing waves from the room, I slept with the curtains open, however the pier outside the hotel is un-used and old and I didn’t see any boats. There is no sandy beach
- Craig (10/5): Great location and clean basic hotel - Excellent location right in the middle of the Fisherman's village market which is a must if you're in Koh Samui on a Friday! Basic but comfortable accommodation.
- Sini (6/5): - Hotelli on hyvällä sijainnilla lähellä kaikkea.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great views. Great staff and lovely trip
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and what views - Great location and some very good views from the rooms.Rooms are a little tired now though and little niggles like noisy old aircon and a fridge door which wouldn't close properly stopped us giving this a higher score
- BOB (8/5): Good location and superb view - Easy check in and good location.Hotel is in fishermans village so shops and eating places are just outside hotel.
If elderly couple then make sure you have rooms 1 to 4 as there are a lot of stairs to the other rooms.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not true pictures of rooms - Not as shown in pictures very bad condition of rooms not made properly. Although at the very centre of fish market which is famous in bophut. Near approach to all famous locations. Ok for the price but im sure u can find much better rooms in the same area and same price
- Kishor (8/5): Right on the beach - Right on the beach, this little hotel is in the centre of everything & will be a great base for your stay in Koh Samui. The room is spacious, airy, breezy, clean & well light, with the small balcony opening direct;y on to the beach. Water drainage in the bathroom is a problem & the hot water is bit luke warm & down to a trickle. It could also benefit from a few deck chairs on the narrow beach. Service is great - lots of willing, smiling, polite helpers. So all in all, a very good hotel & good value for money. Very good wi-fi.
- Jaruwan (10/5): Beautiful view - I love this room and the view is amazing. The only issue is the air condition is very nosy and the door don't have second log inside so when the housekeeping come to clean the room she don't even knock and she just walked while I still sleep in my bed. Please fixed this little problem but very important. Your location and room is amazing.
- Kishor (8/5): Nice little hotel by Bo Phut Beach - Lovely little hotel by the beach. No checkin. We were whisked up to our room on the 3rd floor. Willing helpers taking care of our luggage. This place is compact & not large enough for a lift. The room is large, spacesious, airy with a small balcony that opens up directly on to the beach. The bathroom is dimly lit and needs more powerful lights. Some of the lights were not working. These were fixed next day. The basin water is down to a tricle & so is the shower. Not good. The room is of good size but there are not enough places for your baggage. Needs more tables, mirrors, make up table, etc. Good wifi. Connected up right away. Good beach. Though the tide is always in so have to mke do with narrow strip of sand. Loads of 7/11s nearby. Staff are great here. Helpful, polite & smiling. All in all, good hotel & good value for money.
- warren (8/5): Pleasant boutique hotel - Great 5 days. Lovely location in fishermans village. Staff especially Lilly was fantastic. Would stay again
- branndon (6/5): Not the greatest - The room was decent enough, great view but the shower had a clog and they never fixed. The area however is fantastic, its close to great food and shopping. The bed was not comfortable at all.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great stay, would recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice beach front hotel - The hotel restaurant serves good food, but the Thai food is probably too salty to my liking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Amazing view from room - The view from the room was the best part. Also a good location for fishermans village- right in the center.
The condition of the room let it down as it didn't seem as well looked after as it could be. E.g one of the towels had holes in. The air conditioning didn't work as well as other rooms we have stayed in but luckily there's was also a fan. Bed was quite hard.
Ladies that welcomed us to hotel were very friendly. Overall ok for a short stay.
- Phillip (8/5): Great views and well located in Fishermans village - Nice small hotel with rooms overlooking the ocean, stunning views. Hotel is attached to a restaurant and ran by the same people. Everyone friendly but it felt that the focus was on the restaurant over the room. Check in was pretty much here is your key and the wifi code is on the table.
Room a good size, air con was ok but I am glad there was a fan to move the cold air around the room. Decent sized beds and warm showers. For its price I would certainly go back. It is well located on Bophut beach/fishermans village.
We paid for breakfast on one day there which was quite nice.
- Pauline (6/5): - We had a great time at the Enjoy Beach hotel. The location on the beach right in Fisherman's Village was really good since we did not have a car/scooter. The beach sand was a little rough for walking barefoot, but was not busy so made for great morning walks. The view was great off the terrace, but the AC unit was too small for the room. It had to run full time in order to be comfortable, and never got really cool. Being on the main road in Fisherman's Village was great for shopping, eating, drinking, etc. The Friday night walking market is just outside the hotel. The hotel is not luxurious, but was a solid mid-range choice for the area and good value for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel right on the beach. - Only stayed 1 night, but very friendly staff, and food is delicious!
- Holly (10/5): Great! - Great little hotel in a fabulous location! Walking distance to the Fisherman's Markets on a Friday.
- Sinead (8/5): - Great location in fisherman's village. Beautiful view outility to the beach. Friendly staff. Excellent for the price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great position right on the beach - Position Position but that's were it ends, we up graded our room to one with a kitchenette Yes we got a fridge & a kettle that's it . No plates, knives , forks, microwave, no even a bottle opener nothing. The bed was rock hard . The out side decks were dirty with broke pots with no plants in them
- Chris (10/5): Nice, friendly hotel on the beach. - Centre of Fishermans Village and directly on the beach.
With friendly staff, nice little restaurant/bar area and simple but good food, excellent value.
Went on to stay at two luxury spa hotels but would be more than happy to stay at the Enjoy again
- traveller (10/5): Very nice close to the beach. - The hotel staff is friendly and very responsive to all types of requests. The owner is a delight and on premise most of the time. The restaurant food is good and affordable for the area. very close to good shopping and the beach. My room had an amazing balcony where I could watch the sunrise and at night could watch the fire dancers just 2 places down. The bathroom has nice hot water and is spacious as well.
- Nicholas (10/5): great little place - Cannot fault this little hotel, great location and the sea view is like something out of a film. We didn't eat there so cannot comment but looked good. Fishermans village is beautiful.
- peter (10/5): Like having a private apartment. Fabulous Stay - If you're looking for a more upmarket and quiet area (except for Friday night markets - don't miss) - then this is the place for you. Bophut Fisherman's village is a wonderful paradise away from Chaweng Beach (where I stayed last year). Every apartment has views overlooking the beach - all the way across the waters to Koh Phangan. You can dine on the beach. Or have a drink in the bar. But you are literally on the beach, whether in your apartment or downstairs having breakfast. The view is captivating. The staff are amazing and Eric, the owner, is a wonderful soul only too glad to help with the best travel contacts or scooter hire within a heartbeat of the hotel. I kept extending everyday after 1 week and only left as Eric was booked out because of Friday night markets. I can't recommend this place enough - it is so great. The views and sunrise/sunset from the room balconies is worth it. Super clean and friendly. ENJOY!
- Alberto (4/5): A hostel priced like a hotel - Enjoy Beach is in a great position, right in the middle of Fisherman's Village. The room was reasonably spacious and the view was really good. Everything else was just not up to standard considering the price we paid (78 USD a night, without breakfast).
After climbing the narrow staircase for three storeys, we found the room not particularly clean: there was a significant amount of sand on the couch left by the previous occupant. After we pointed that out, the solution was to simply remove the cover of the couch, revealing that what was underneath was even filthier. The cover reappeared the following day. The glass of the shower was stained.
Upon check-in, we also found the safe of the room literally destroyed, as if someone had used a hammer to open it: debris were all around. Instead of showing surprise, the owner of the hotel asked us how many nights we would be staying at his hotel. After receiving an answer (3), he probably deemed it was not worth bothering about it and the destroyed safe remained in the room untouched throughout our stay and the promised replacement never appeared.
Upon checkout, the hotel was unable to call a taxi for us. Incredibly, the owner claimed that the taxi driver (presumably the only one he knows) was still sleeping at that time (9.45am). We had to walk out of Fisherman's Village and get a taxi ourselves.
I would not complain if the price was around 35 USD/night which, incidentally, is the price of a room just across the street.
