- Abdullah (8/5): المكان جميل وروعة والفطور حقهم جميل بس السعر مبالغ فيه الصدق 😅 -

- Bobbi (10/5): Our stay at Noah House was incredible. The staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly. - Breakfast was great. Hotel was amazing as was the location. Showers could be a bit uncomfortable with the water temperature switching from very cold to luke warm.
- Jo (8/5): Clean and cosy but needs more finesse - Beautiful decor and excellent staff Poor communication. Our fight was delayed but we couldn’t get hold of anyone to let know. Fortunately there was a member of staff to meet us who was very friendly and helpful. The room was ‘snug’ but didn’t have any extras like bath robes, hair conditioner. The hotel is beautiful from the outside but looks onto flats with a little peak of Table Mountain. We used Ubers all the time which were very cheap extremely efficient and safe.

- antonella (8/5): Lovely property with nice staff and excellent breakfast. Rooms must be chosen to be happy. - We were in three and we had two bedroom. One was beautiful: spacious , a great bathroom and a lovely terrace. The second was in a different building and a shoe box. The second room should have been closer to ours.

Very homely feel unlike major hotel chains. The staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was lovely. Nothing
- Rimmert S. (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf in een sfeervol, stijlvol ingericht boetiek hotel! - Sfeervol boetiek hotel. Heerlijke kamer, heerlijk ontbijt, stijlvol ingericht. Goede locatie. Niets
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent and relaxing - Beautiful accommodation, centrally located and easy to walk Kloof Street from. Wonderful staff, clean and spacious rooms, would definitely recommend staying here again. They helped me organise a car which I am very grateful for, as it allowed us to see the Cape of Good Hope and other attractions on the south coast. Really nice accommodation and a lovely breakfast as well! Nothing!

- LORNA (10/5): Amazing!!! - Absolutely amazing, personalised service with Gerald the owner on sight.
Delicious complimentary snacks, welcome drink and amazing breakfast. 10 out of 10.

- Erika (9/5): Wonderful stay in the heart of the mother city - Beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious and staff so friendly! Beds very comfortable. Room was a bit on the cold side.
- Peter (10/5): Ein perfektes Stadthotel ! - Perfekt ausgestattetes Hotel, sehr ruhige Lage, dennoch fussläufig zur Innenstadt. Und die Mitarbeiter sind extrem nett und hilfsbereit. Für mich das beste Hotel in Kapstadt.
- katleen (9/5): -
- Casper (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philippa (10/5): Such an enjoyable stay in Cape Town - Beautifully and tastefully decorated, comfortable, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, conveniently yet quietly located.
- Krisztina (10/5): Fabulous base for a Cape Town getaway! - Loved the location of Noah House. In a residential area and in walking distance to restaurants, shops and cafes. Very quick Uber ride from all sights. The interior is so tastefully designed. Breakfast was fabulous! Loved the selection from the menu and the fresh daily juices. And the staff was wonderful too – 10/10 stay!
- Tristan (10/5): A great base to explore Cape Town from. - Great location for exploring the city.
Really comfortable and clean with facilities that are modern and user friendly.
Loved the extensive honesty bar which had something for everyone including complimentary tea/coffee
Richard was great and was there to help whenever you needed him. Although the breakfast was fresh and delicious, personally I would have liked a few more “traditional “ offerings with bacon/sausage etc or possibly omelettes.
- Wendy (7/5): An incredible welcome to a beautiful hotel that many would enjoy when visiting Cape Town. - The staff was incredible. The location was stunning with stunning views of the mountain. The size of the bedroom was great. The toiletries in the bathroom were of a high quality. The overall impression of the property was good. For the price paid for a luxary boutique hotel, one would expect to have bathrobes, a full length mirror, a small sewing kit (I had to stitch a hem for a meeting), hair conditioner, complementary coffee/tea in the bedroom so as not having to leave the bedroom to get a coffee in the morning. Although the property is beautiful, it is a little bit too minimalistic, i.e. maybe some nice wooden furniture with the modern furniture in the lounge would make one feel a little more "cozy" or make one feel a little more at home.
- Andreas (9/5): Stylish place in Capetown - Stylish interior -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel, with the interior done tastefully by the owners. - The breakfast options were varied to what we requested each day outside of the set breakfast menu to break the monotony! We did love the options we were offered! The quiche is a must try!
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -
- Feroza (10/5): Noah is a charming boutique hotel in a lovely residential neighbourhood close to interesting shops and restaurants. - It was comfortable, charming, and very tastefully decorated. Service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Owners were also on site on occasion and were lovely. Nothing. Was all positive.
- Konrad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lize-marie (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful - Perfect location quiet and walking distance to shops and great restaurants Beautifully restorated old house
- Levent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bobbi (10/5): Exceptional!! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Noah House, a special mention to Sarina and Blessings for going above and beyond. The interiors were beautiful, the property was clean and felt like we were at home. The location is fantastic. Loved the attention to detail in all the elements
- Jiri (10/5): Great hotel and great experience. I recommend to visit. - A stylish hotel in a central and quiet location. Everything is sensitively tuned. The staff was perfect and very helpful. I recommend visiting the hotel, it is beautiful! The perfect accessory is an old Land Rover. Everything was great!
- Simongmyb (4/5): Beautifully designed but lacking hospitality - A beautifully designed house and the housekeeping and breakfast staff were lovely At this price point you would expect tea and coffee facilities in the room, decent wardrobe space,a table by the window seat ,a robe maybe? You will be disappointed.
All the outside furniture is locked away at 5,so back inside for you.You will notice that 5 pm is a key time here should you decide to book.
And when a guest is leaving it would be nice if there was some engagement, perhaps to get feedback in person.
A missed opportunity in what is a lovely building lacking any real hospitality.
- Tamiryn (1/5): Extremely Disappointed – Theft and Lack of Action at Noah House My husband and I recently stayed at Noah House in Tambo - Extremely Disappointed – Theft and Lack of Action at Noah House
My husband and I recently stayed at Noah House in Tamboerskloof, and we were shocked to discover cash had been taken from our room safe upon check out. The safe was provided by the hotel to protect our belongings, making this a serious violation of our privacy.
We immediately reported the issue to the owner, who said they would look into but since we had to catch an early morning flight we had no option to leave and wait to hear from them. A week later I contacted them and no action was taken, and the owners offered no assistance or accountability. The lack of response and concern for guests was incredibly disappointing.
This is an incredibly serious issue, and the hotel’s failure to address it reflects a complete disregard for guest safety. I strongly advise caution before booking here, as this kind of negligence is unacceptable.
- Hannah (9/5): We had a lovely, relaxing time! - The Breakfast was delicious and excellent. A great selection and super fresh ingredients! The staff were also very lovely- Thank you Blessing! Everything was great! The only downside is that there isn't a pool but it is very central, so, cannot complain!
- Martin (10/5): Excellent Cape Town stay without a sea view - Centrally located
All amenities with very friendly staff Nothing
- Verner (9/5): Great stay, very friendly people and would recommend - People, styling, comfortable rooms, great coffee and breakfast and location The first two breakfast options are delicious but come on a very wobbly plate
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Symonne (9/5): Elegance, calm and serenity. - Wonderfully elegant hotel, with lovely tea room and public salon areas. Designed with the utmost taste. Great bathtub and products. Good breakfast! Location is close to Kloof and Long St, if you want to be in that part of town.
- Pavlounis (10/5): Looking forward to coming back again soon. ... - The architecture of this beautiful white Victorian boutique hotel with a very chic decor&design crisp, and very clean with a wonderful staff, especially grateful to Gerald, for being a gracious guide for two days, took us to iconic places and wineries with his kindness, warmth and wisdom making my first trip to the Cape extraordinary with unforgettable memories…
- Oliver (10/5): NOAH House was perfect, the staff, the decor, the location, the food - all perfect. Such a great spot to base yourself i - NOAH House was perfect, the staff, the decor, the location, the food - all perfect. Such a great spot to base yourself in Cape Town Nothing
- Georgia (9/5): Good stay for a couple of nights - Good location
Friendly staff
Lovely room
Very clean Poor selection at breakfast.. no orange juice, only one type of fruit drink on offer.
TV didn’t work
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Jean (10/5): Delightful! - Hosts were welcoming and shared lots of info.
- Alex (9/5): A simply idyllic place to stay. Staff make you feel so welcome is as if you're at home. - The staff were extremely welcoming, especially Blessings! The breakfast was delicious and the tea , cakes and alcohol casual offering was a lovely touch too. The room and bathroom were spacious and Noah is in a perfect location to explore nearby Kloof Street and all the amazing restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend!
- Anne-marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Carolina (10/5): Like home away from home! - The service and the installations were amazing! It was like home away from home. The location is incredible and very safe.
- Ulrike (8/5): Great place to explore Cape Town from - Beautifully decorated, good size of the room, great location, honesty bar The outside space is closed (as in the chairs & cushions are put away) very early, breakfast was good but a bit confusing as whilst there were options, nobody tells you about them and it’s a bit uncomfortable to ask. Maybe provide a bit of a menu?
- Shitika (6/5): Nice property but pretty average experience - Property is nice but rooms are very average, there’s some great touches around the common area but wasn’t wow’ed by anything in the rooms. Location is lovely. The breakfast is the same a la carte every morning so it’s easy to get bored of it very quickly. We actually had some security issues with our room and spoke to the manager / owner about it - not worth sharing in a public review here as I hope it’s been dealt with after we checked out, but really dampened our experience overall.
- Joanne (9/5): Superb - Great location and property. All fab, I can’t fault it.,
- Mai (10/5): Second home in Cape Town - Comfortable, cozy, quiet neighborhood, great hospitality and clean.. No elevator..
- Catherine (9/5): Very comfortable and chic. - Very clean and comfortable. The amenities were fabulous. Extremely gorgeous property overall. Cafe wasn’t really open as much as we’d hoped. Arrived at 1pm and coffee machine was already turned off for the day.
- Will (10/5): A perfect hidden gem, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully presented - We loved the guest house feel of the property, and lack of formal hotel spaces. The great value honesty bars were well stocked, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were also incredibly friendly and happy to help.
- Aurelija (10/5): Oasis of style and tranquility - Wonderful place - home away from home. Incredible hospitality and attention to detail by the owners and the staff. Perfect location, safe and clean neighborhood. Great breakfast and coffee as well! Nothing
- Ariane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberley (9/5): I would definitely return to Noah House. Sarina was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the sites and recommendati - Excellent location! Walkable distance to restaurants and market but in a quiet neighbourhood away from the busy city. Wonderful breakfasts and amenities, really enjoyed the afternoon tea Room was on the small side for 2 peopel
- Billie (10/5): The BEST place to stay in Cape Town. 10/10 - A beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet residential area convenient to the City Center. I was in Room 10, a boutique Queen room, which was lovely and off to itself. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Blessings, the manager, was so helpful. You can tell the property was carefully curated with no detail missed. Olivia helped arrange a walking food tour for me and then in the evening, I did their Sundowner Tour in a vintage Landy (Land Rover). Highly recommend this…it was so much fun. That I couldn’t stay longer.
- Toby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronelle (1/5): Underwhelmed - The house is beautifully decorated. When I arrived, nobody heard the bell and I had to phone the property to send someone to welcome me. I was given a tiny room on top of what was the garage, not inside the house. No life after 5 in the afternoon, it felt quite eerie walking around to find the honesty bar.
- Jschmahl (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (9/5): Absolute gem in a lovely part of Cape Town. Extremely welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay. - The breakfast was extremely tasty, the coffee the best we had in Cape Town and the setting really rather peaceful and calming to start the day with.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (9/5): Fabulous!!! -
- Tom (8/5): Gorgeous hotel with super friendly affable staff. Recommended! - Beautiful, clean and very well appointed boutique hotel with lovely staff and extremely comfy beds!
Location in great for Kloof St bars and restaurants and just a short drive into central Cape Town Coffee needs some work :)
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Such a wonderful stay, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cape Town!
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Loubser (10/5): A wonderful stay. - Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Well appointed room. Delicious breakfast.
- Hoadley (10/5): A lovely experience here, we'd go back in a heartbeat! - A beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location; friendly and very helpful hosts full of great recommendations; delicious cooked-to-order breakfasts; lovely decor combining original Victorian elements with a sophisticated modern twist. Very accommodating staff arranged a Cape Peninsula tour as well as airport transfers- so helpful! Can't think of a thing!
- Marie (10/5): Fantastic Gem of a place to stay - We were greeted by the owner, Gerald. He was very welcoming and informative. There was a beautiful tea room every afternoon with homemade biscuits and two wonderful teas. Breakfast was made to order. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The area felt very safe and there was an incredible view of Table Mountain. Short Uber ride to CBD. Uber was there with in 1-5 minutes of a call. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone without hesitation. There was nothing to not like. Everything was well thought out. We found nothing to complain about
- Mark (9/5): Thank you Sarina, Gerald and the team 👌 - Sarina, Gerald, Blessings and the whole team were fantastic.
This is a lovely relaxed, quality place to stay.
It's not at the V&A Waterfront, which makes it all the better, if you want a more real Cape Town stay.
It does have a lot of quality restaurants around it.
Try Kloof Street House.
Nothing in Cape Town is more than a cheap Uber away (which we recommend, wherever you stay).
Lovely people. Quality place.
We would not hesitate to book here again. nothing that was in the control of the hotel.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and beautifully decorated. Staff were very helpful beforehand and throughout and it was useful being able to contact the team via WhatsApp. We really found their Noah Guide useful for planning and they were happy to help organise tours etc too. All of their suggestions were excellent; we got through a lot of their cafe/bar/restaurant list and it was backed up from other locals we knew in the area plus did the food tour and paragliding - both were so much fun.
We opted for the room with a balcony and it was so lovely to have a relaxing area with a view.
The breakfast was lovely and the afternoon tea plus turndown service are a lovely touch.
Parking available.
We felt very comfortable, safe and welcome there and loved being so close to all the main areas of Cape Town. I imagine due to it being a period building, the windows didn't seem to be double glazed and so sometimes it was a little noisy, but mainly the area was quiet so not too much trouble.
There wasn't much drawer space to enable us to unpack fully. The team gave us extra hangers which we appreciate but still felt like we were living out of a suitcase which was a shame as we were there for 5 nights.
- John (10/5): Could not be improved. - Staff were incredible. Particularly the manager, Blessings. Friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing.
- Dan (10/5): Last minute find and couldn't have been more lucky. Perfect stay with fantastic owners and staff. - Excellent all round! Wonderful people and stay. Will stay again
