Served at 6am which for other locations and hotels, typically doesn't start until 7am for others. Also, this was close to the coast, south of Sequin, north of Beeville, and had half the rate for last minute Fri and Sat stay versus the other locations. nothing I didn't like

Called front desk, advised we had no hot water. Was not offered another room and was told they’re under renovation and some rooms don’t have hot water. Next morning advised front desk staff there was no hot water, she did not apologize or offer any reimbursement. I asked to speak with the manager, was informed he’ll be in later today. Left my name and number. I still have not received a call. My boyfriend has been staying here for a week and his sheets hadn’t been changed during that stay. He had to ask for his sheets to be changed. I would not recommend staying here.

- Ralph (2/5): - Massive renovation at the time of our stay. No one to check us in at the front desk, waited 20 min and even tried calling several times. We ended up going out to eat and then returning, and finally we were able to check in. Piles of trash in lobby from construction. We were asked to not use our shower until morning as the tile around the tub was still wet. We paid for a king studio and got placed in a small double queen. The fridge in the room was full of previous occupants food and was a mess. I tried to talk to the front desk to complain but sat there for another 20 min while the clerk had a conversation with her friends, never acknowledging me. After voicing my complaints, she was very dismissive and gave me several excuses and zero resolutions. Also our ac did not work. I would avoid this property if there are other options.

- Amanda (2/5): - I booked a suite with a king size bed and a pull out sofa bed through Travelocity. When I got to the hotel to check in I asked the person at the front desk to verify what kind of room because this isn’t the first time I booked through a third party site and had issues with the room descriptions. They told me they don’t have any suites. I call that false advertising. For that and that alone I will rate my experience a one of out 5 stars. Either Travelocity messed up or the hotel did. The third party sites and the hotels that use them need to coordinate their information better so it stays current and accurate.

The hotel is fine, however I based my stay on the fact that in all the pictures they show ethernet jacks in the rooms. This matters to me because it makes it easier to use my work laptop, for reasons I don't understand the company has weird proxy settings. Doesn't matter because the ethernet jacks are not connected. There are jacks in every room but the hotel has made the decision to not have any of them connected. So now I'm stuck here for a week dealing with crappy wifi.

- Sheila (4/5): It was ok but not the best, I will pick a different hotel next time. - The breakfast was very good. The pool was nice. The beds were great. The linen was very nice. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. I always choose the Hampton Inn. Very disappointed with this one. The manager was rude to me and my guests all weekend. The facility was not up to standards for the price. I will be choosing a different hotel next trip. The ac in the halls was not working, the ice machine was broken, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. Definitely not worth the money.
- Bradley (7/5): it was smack dab in the middle of just ok. - the hotel was clean enough, the staff were present. it was overall an ok stay. the air was not working in many areas. This property look’s it’s age. In particular the front desk area looks shabby. The staff were wooden and efficient , doing what was necessary. I certainly did not feel noticed at all. I felt like a number and not a person . the guy working at night was way more into his cell phone than anything else. The lady next day was running front desk and doing breakfast duty at the same time. Again, too busy to be bothered with anything else.

I went to get my luggage and when I came back, the front desk was being extra nice to the oil field guys. I guess I have to be oilfield to get a better attitude. Never staying here again. Only stayed because it was closer to town. Drive the extra miles. The other hotels are worth it.

- blue_collar_girl (2/5): Bad customer service - We came here on a business trip and when we get here, we all had to sleep in the meeting room because our rooms weren’t ready so that already left a terrible first impression. I’ve asked them twice now to restock my towels and take out my trash. It has been 4 days and they’ve still yet to do it and the front desk basically just keeps basically telling me it’s not their problem. For anyone that enjoys going somewhere with friendly staff who actually do their job, I would NOT recommend coming here.

Which is fine but she seemed annoyed when we arrived and came to the desk. This stay there wasn’t toiletries (shampoo, body wash..) and I called and asked for extra towels since we had gone to the pool and never received them. The lady on the phone seemed inconvenienced that I even called and asked for them. Definitely expected better especially for the price.

Apparently it is listed after you book and you have to read the fine print. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast is served at 3am and that is a plus for the oilfield workers.

From the waffles to the egg and cheese omelets to the fresh fruit we all enjoyed our stay.

- Ricardo (4/5): First Hampton that been - The first Hampton inn that was disappointing. It is very worn out the mattress was sagging in the middle and the pillows had no support. Kennedy is a town where oil companies rent out rooms so the lobby is always dirty and the parking area is full of large companies trucks and mud .

The only thing bad was the lack of communication between staff after I got approval for a late check out . The rooms were super clean , the beds were nice and a great selection on the tv with dish provided . They even had breakfast which was a super plus . If I’m back in the area there is no other choice but the Hampton inn. 5 stars all the way !
- Texasish (8/5): Reliable Hampton Inn - Quiet comfortable and welcoming. Unlike other local hotel I recently stayed there was Hot water consistently and no mud to be found in lobby or hallways. And breakfast was included which was tasty. I'll bee back.
- davisrebekah422 (8/5): To each their own - This was a clean hotel with a great staff. They allowed me to check in late and did their best to provide me with a great room. Unfortunately the room they put me in was in a bad location at the hotel and I did not get much sleep, my curtains did not close so I felt exposed the whole time, and I believe putting any guest rooms next to a pool and gym is a very bad idea.
- garett (4/5): Not so great as it seems - The man that works the front desk is very rude and can be heard most mornings being rude to other employees as well as guest. The overall cleanliness of the rooms is good but the hallways typically are dirty. The beds are extremely hard almost to hard to be comfortable.

- georgep34892019 (10/5): Great Hotel - I travel a lot for work and I know I have my second home in Kenedy Hampton. Very happy with customer service, cleanliness of the rooms and rates. The staff was always very nice and ready to help with anything we needed during our stay. I recommend this hotel to any family member or friends that pass by there.
- ROSEMARY (6/5): Holiday Ho hum at the Hampton. - We visited for a family Christmas party. We had gone through a third party. When we got there I asked about a military discount. They said you should have adked 3rd party. The 3rd party we also asked about military discount and disabled told us to ask hotel during check in. So after all that we were supposed to get a handicap room. Well my husband is in a wheelchair. Couldnt get a shower and had to brush teeth sideways. Breakfast food cold. We didnt get any help for what we needed.As far as discount or room we needed. We were told we were lucky to get it. I used to really like Hampton Inn. But this last experience. My big family will think twice.
- Milderman (4/5): Disappointed - I stay at Hampton Inns frequently and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Not at this location, however. Breakfast choices were slim unless you ate by 7:00am because they never replenished anything. Just scraps by 8:30am. Also, staff was a bit rude about my request for a late checkout, 1:00 instead of Noon, which as a Diamond member I am usually happily accommodated at other Hilton properties.
- 916lesliem (2/5): Terrible customer service, Poorly managed, not clean - Stayed here on business. Front desk lady was UNFRIENDLY. Breakfast was terrible. Barely any food at 7:45 and the lady managing it (same one from the front desk) never once checked the food or coffee to replenish. Common areas are dirty. If you are a Hilton diamond member don’t expect any benefits from the management here. Asked for water at check in and was told they “don’t do that here.” And this morning we asked for a late check out.l and were originally told yes, then the same crabby lady from breakfast and the front desk told us no, “we don’t do that at this property.” Not up to the usual Hilton standards by along shot! Hilton needs to either find new management or it’s time to sell this property.

I have stayed in other area Hotels before and when available it is always my first choice. Clean Rooms, Great Location and friendly staff! By far the best hotel in the area...

- Kelcieann (10/5): Perfect location! - This hotel was super clean and easily accessible on our way to the coast. The free breakfast was amazing. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Comfy beds and the room was roomy. We will stop here again when traveling that direction.

- Explore50583008582 (10/5): Great place to stay! - Best HOTEL in town!!!! Over the last 5 years I have stayed at several hotels in the area. To date, the Hampton Inn has always been my first choice to stay at when working in the area. Not because of their great location, but because I can always count on a clean room and a friendly curious staff. It was a great stay and I definitely would stay again!
- jorgep64 (10/5): Amazing hotel - Best hotel in Kennedy by far. Amazing staff and service. The price is just right. I have stayed in that area for work and this hotel beats all of them. Rooms are always clean all the time. The manager does a really good job with this place very organize.

I went down and told the Lady and gentleman at the front desk about this and was told that they would go up and clean the room and remove the dirty towels. I left to visit with family and returned back to hotel and nothing had been done to room and dirty towels were still in closet.
