• Denisse (2/5): Horrible place to stay! - Location was great Worst sofa bed. Had to all cramp up in the one bed because when I went to the manager to complain they said they were aware and didn’t offer any resolutions. They let the kids from the apartment complex in back of the building to get in the pool and kids were extremely loud rude and disrespectful throwing the hotels towels inside the pool when I went to the front desk to complain they didn’t do anything

It is extremely clean and the free breakfast was better than many other hotel I have stayed in. • Destination512513 (6/5): Ask for non karaoke side of hotel if you want to relax and sleep - Karaoke across the street an a weeknight. So if you want to sleep, ask for the “non-karaoke” side of the hotel. It’s not their fault and they did offer to move my room. Still, it was exasperating to only realize this was going on after I unpacked and tried to sleep after a hellacious travel experience. Limited food options despite downtown location. Breakfast was excellent though.

I can easily see how this could become a 9.4 hotel but unfortunately today I could not rate them above a 6.00. I was there 9 days before having my room cleaned, blown lights in the room and fridge.. I really found front desk staff and maintenance staff to be awesome and once the housekeeping Manager was informed about my room, things turned around!

• Tennie (8/5): - Pros: friendly staff in all areas. Especially breakfast staff. Rooms are stocked with kitchen stuff. Rooms are pretty decent condtion. Breakfast was good with a few variable things like different eggs and breakfast sabdwhich along with oatmeal and a variety of toppings. Yogurt available. The pool is a decent size and kept warmer than most Ive ever seen. Cons; while areas were mostly clean or still in good shape, we pulled a broken plastic piece from the bottom of the pool and it stayed on the floor of the pool room for 3 days. So obviously they arent doing the pool cleaning like they are supposed to, also there was sand (who knows how) at the bottom of the pool and that was there eveyday as well, public pools in most states are supposed to be vacuumed every day. They show a picture of their breakfast and it shows a waffle maker. We get there and there are no waffles Monday through Friday. This is a big deal for some people. I want my picky kiddos to have a good breakfast so I always check the pictures for waffle maker and if the hotel doesnt have pictures then will call and ask and if they dont have it then i generally dont stay there. I have never seen a picture of a waffle maker on the website breakfast and then found out they only do it on weekends. Obviously that will be on my radar now. There is co structuon going on, and it must be done sometime, but it was frustrating but to know it was happening, ie. No mention on the website, no email recieved etc.
• Ashley (2/5): - They charged me for my hotel room that I had already paid for. They said “we’re using this just for incidentals” which was only supposed to be $60 Well when she had me swipe my card they pulled $600 from my bank account and held it for SEVEN days.

The first night wecwere able to open the windows in the room. But, there was a storm coming in and we wouldn't be able to open windows, so we chose to check out early. They would not offer a refund. The bedding provided for the fold out bed was not sufficient. We asked for more and received a very very thin blanket. We ended up using the picnic blanket from our car. Waffles were only available at breakfast one of the 3 nights we were there. The workout room was closed. Overall I think this would be a nice place to stay. But, when there are special circumstances like wallpapering chemical smells - they should make acceptions to their no refund policy.

They all worked so seamlessly together ensuring that every individual task they had was done perfectly. . . . Until, we were done with taking our girls swimming a few hours before check-out. I ALWAYS ensure that we all have a good shower after swimming. So I went first and THE SHOWERS WATER PRESSURE JUST KEPT WORSENING!!! I literally had to fill up a cup and rinse splashing myself to rinse for the gorentire shower. It took a forever before I felt clean enough to get out. To my surprise the pressure seemed to be improving right before I out. I STUPIDLY DECIDED TO PUT MY TWO YOUNGEST DAUGHTERS IN TOGETHER TO QUICKLY SOAP UP & RINSE OFF. MISTAKE!! I used the amount of bodywash&shampoo THAT WAS FAR TO MUCH, with the possibility of the pressure going to LIKE THE drinking fountain AT MY DUGHTERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. It took 45 mins to get all the soap/shampoo off. Completely ruined the entire stay. We were very late for an event we have to When I pay for a nice , more expensive and I believe a 4 star hotel. I EXPECT EVERYTHING TO BE IN WORKING ORDER. I have been to many hotels with low water pressure. I'm honestly super impressed when I get a room with a normal water pressure. With that said THIS HOTELS SHOWER WAS VERY DISCOURAGING , AND UTTERLY UNEXCEPTABLE!
• Hanson (1/5): Felt unsafe to leave and we were very uncomfortable with our suite. Fries on the floor toilet dirty - We had a bunch of homeless folks right next to the property. Didn't even feel safe leaving the property to enjoy the area. Heard gunshots. Room was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable. It was expensive and definitely not what we expected. Pretty disappointed:/ expected an awesome time but it didn't turn out that way. Sheets where stained. It was dissappo8nting overall.
• HuntingtownTraveler (10/5): Another Wonderful Residence Inn - We never feel that we can go wrong by staying at Marriott properties. For longer stays, we highly prefer the Residence Inn. Our stay at the Residence Inn Omaha Aksarban Village was no exception. The location was actually pretty cool. We had initially planned to stay in Downtown Omaha, but were glad that we ended up at this location. It was right next to University of Nebraska at Omaha, and there were tons of great restaurants within walking distance - right across the street. The whole area seemed very safe - day and night - lots of folks out running, walking their dogs, or hanging out at the many local restaurants. As for the property itself, all the staff we interacted with did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The front desk staff were extremely polite, flexible, and did everything that we asked. The cleaning staff were very nice, very sweet - always saying 'hello'. The breakfast staff were wonderful - my wife and I both loved the breakfasts - both the hot breakfast and cold breakfast items. The breakfast staff went out of their way to make sure that all the guests that came down during breakfast felt at home and we overheard the staff doing all kinds of little things - all the little, special requests that guests made - its the little things that really make the difference. Our room was a King Bedroom Suite with full kitchen and an exceptionally large workspace area - long full desk, extremely long couch that likely doubles as a foldout bed. The kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom all felt spacious. My wife loved the bed and the pillows. We slept really well. The kitchen was well appointed with a good compliment of silverware, plate ware, bowls, and all the gadgets and gizmos we needed to prepare meals or heat up restaurant leftovers. While I was away daily at conferences, my wife was able to work full-time from the room. Everything worked well, great fast internet, etc. We had an excellent stay at Residence Inn Aksarban Village - as always, Marriott delivers a consistently high quality experience.

Bath layout very good, great lighting, good counter space. Kitchen had enough setup for light cooking. Furnishings are worn and the sofa bed couch felt like someone stood on it and bent the mattress support. Bedside lamps, one had peeled off decal and other was worn, however, lamp has overall and task light so very useful. Plenty of plug ins for your electronic devices. Wifi adequate. Rugs could use a cleaning. Television channel selection average but would be easy to stream a subscription. Lobby breakfast reasonable and staff friendly and attentive. Easy parking. There is ambiant noise from ac and local music so bring airplugs for quieter sleeping. We paid about $200/night all taxes included for king studio.

• Tava (8/5): Exceptional staff, quiet rooms with very comfortable beds!! - Staff was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet. There were a lot of people out and about, I believe there was an event going on, and I didn’t hear any street noise. The only negative was the carpet sounded and felt sticky. I kept my flip flops on as I wasn’t brave enough to feel it barefoot!
