Guest Reviews
- Jason (10/5): - Great hotel
- Ortelio (4/5): - Parking disponibility inexistent
Room curtain broke and service was inexistent
- Andrew (8/5): - Very well managed and friendly hotel
- Thomas (10/5): - Concierge was excellent
- Rita (10/5): - Great location, very walkable to main attractions in old town. Great breakfast
- joanne (10/5): Nuremburg place to be - there for Rock IM Park, great experience the location, of hotel is fantastic. The old town is just 5 minute walk away with selection of shops , restaurants and bars, few Irish bars there too. the train station 5 minute walk loads of trams and buses, people very polite, staff very pleasant and helpful. book a room fir three, the sofa bed mattress was not very comfortable , maybe a mattress topper could improve same. but over all lovely hotel, good selection at breakfast which was included in the price, great value. would go back again.
- Katia (10/5): - Clean large rooms. Very good breakfast. The A/C in the room was excellent considering it was 31C that day. Old town just a 10 minute straight walk from hotel. Staff was very accommodating in regards to parking. The lot was full when we arrived so they directed us to the public parking next door which was 10 euro more. They reimbursed us for the difference. Great service! Would certainly come back!
- Carolyn (10/5): - breakfast was always delicious and they are very accommodating. We had someone in our family passed away while we were there and they refunded us tonight. Stay as we had to leave early.
- Sneh (8/5): - Great place, near the train station, however our room was overlooking the train tracks. The air conditioning was not working and it was very hot in the room. We enquired about the air conditioning and was told it was not working. We had to open the windows, hence it was very noisy. Apart from that the breakfast was very good.
- Hyunkag (10/5): - Great location near the old town, amazing breakfast
- Charles (10/5): - Great proximity to rail system, near excellent restaurants.
- Daniel (10/5): - Conveniently located very close to the main train station, this is a nice, clean, comfortable accommodation to explore Nuremberg.
- Kathleen (10/5): - LOVED this hotel. In our 2 week trek around Germany it was our favorite! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great. Location was within an easy walk from the train station and Christmas Markets. It was the perfect place!
- William (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable rooms. Awesome breakfast.
- Marietta (8/5): Christmas Market in Germany - Nice location, walking distance to train station and some attractions
- Stephen (10/5): - Excellent location and staff, breakfast was better than Hampton in the USA
- Alan (10/5): - Within 5 minutes walk of tram and train to Airport. 10 mins from town centre. Clean, friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Walking distance to Christmas markets - Excellent breakfast and room condition.
- DONALD (6/5): - Front desk staff was exceptional. Housekeeping staff was below standard. Took over 2 hours to get toilet paper, then had to fetch myself. No tissue in room first day. When towels were replaced, they only gave one towel and washcloth, when there were obviously 2 of us.
The free breakfast was not good, cold eggs, undercooked bacon, watered down orange juice.
Not up to Hampton by Hilton standards.
- jacob (10/5): - Perfect location
- Charlottie (10/5): Nice and helpful staff - Hotel near train station, the bed was clean and comfortable, with two pillows given, and the staff was very nice. Definitely coming back if I ever visit Nuernberg again.
- Annette (10/5): Nice modern hotel in convent location - This hotel was very modern on the inside and located very conveniently to both the train station, Flixbus station, and hop on hop off bus starting point. We love that the breakfast is included.
- Mohamed (8/5): - Excellent service from staff, especially Mahmoud
Central location, walkable to center
Decent breakfast
Small size room
- Tim (4/5): - Poor
- sergio (10/5): - Excellent rooms. Ok breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We got a room upgrade, which was fantastic. The hotel is in a very good condition and so are the rooms. There is a kettle in the room to make tea. The hotel is located close to the main railway station and to the city centre. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, but the selection is rather modest.
- Dave (8/5): - Staff was polite and helpful.
- Katrina (10/5): - Love my whole stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): Festival Time - We hopped of the train and were able to stroll to the hotel, which was also close to the old town area of pedestrian streets with shops and restaurants. Our place was quiet and the old town was lively with an international music festival and AC/DC in town. That may have made the rates a little higher than normal.
- Phuong (10/5): - The hotel is clean and nice location. Staffs are friendly, especially the breakfast service person named Yunus. He had excellent hospitality and provided us with the best service.
- keith (8/5): - Location and helpful staff
- Michaela (8/5): Central no-fuss hotel - A standard Hampton by Hilton in a central location near the train station. Clean, with enough space, standardised. I struggled to get the room to a cooler (UK-standard) temperature so I had to keep the window open, which allowed in quite a lot of noise from the main street below. The breakfast is passable.
- Rosemarie (10/5): Good value! - Well positioned for the station and old town. Good size room and excellent breakfast. Would use again.
- RIMA (2/5): - Worst hotel so far. Stained carpets, dirty room, train station tracks right behind the hotel so extremely noisy, staff unresponsive and unprofessional. Parking too tight and limited and inconveniently located between two hotels in the back!
- Desislava (10/5): Charmin! - Very good indeed. Highly recommended. The hotel was clean and tidy in a convenient location. The staff was very polite especially Vasilis.
- Aaron (6/5): - The service was good, however the room I got smelled of mold and mildew and the bed was very uncomfortable
- Nafen (10/5): - We stayed 7 nights , the location was excellent near the main railway station and walkable to the old town and city centre , the breakfast was good with variety , at occasions used to get very busy but the staff restock the food quickly.
- Rodrigo (8/5): - Staff was kind and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Only problem we faced was that the room was too warm.
- Octavian (8/5): - Hotel was beautiful, good customer service received, the room was nice and spacious but it was very very warm, our stay was in December and we had to open the window to cool down because the air con did not work, not the best night sleep but we are coming back in few days and we are hoping for a better room temperature on this occasion and I’m sure it will be fine. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a good choice of food to choose from. Parking was a bit small and I believe it’s shared with guests from the neighbour hotels, did not found a parking space and I had to leave it by the side of the hotel which was not a problem for me or for other people I guess. We will return as I said and I’m sure it will be a good stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Reasonable - The cleanliness of the plates and cups during our breakfast was poor. During peak times there should have been more staff to be cleaning tablets etc. Room facilities and comfort was fine. Good location and within a close proximity to both the centre as well as main train station.
- Michael (8/5): 👍 to Nuremberg! - Nice hotel, convenient to train stain, not far from the Christmas market!
- LINDA (8/5): - We were in a room in front and there was a lot of traffic noise. But otherwise, it was comfortable and close to the Christmas Markets. We walked to and from the markets. I would stay there again.
- yongwei (10/5): - It is very close to the train station and easy for trams and buses. The hotel is excellent and the room is spacious. The free breakfast was great.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great place to stay in the city!
- Ayse (8/5): - The most enjoyable thing was 24 hour access to hot beverages ın the hotel's restaurant.
- Rosie (10/5): Central and lovely hotel - Lovely, clean central hotel. Nice comfortable rooms and very helpful and approachable staff. Breakfast was lovely too.
- David (10/5): 5 night stay at Hampton by Hilton Nuremberg - We had a great 5 night stay in Nuremberg. The hotel is well positioned, just a 2-3 minute walk to the train station and a short walk into the town centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a good and just what we needed before a day of sightseeing. If I ever return to Nuremberg, I would stay here again.
- OMAR (6/5): - No hot water, not even a apology let alone some kind of refund
- everett (8/5): - There is not enough available parking. There is not a laundry facility.
Other than those two things I specifically searched to obtain. The hotel was very good.
- Deborah (10/5): - Very convenient to the hauftbhan. We walked from the station to the hotel. It was about 5-7 minutes. Thanking heavens we made the decision to travel light. Two smaller rollers and two backpacks. Is more than enough to travel around Europe on trains, and buses. I would have gone lighter but my husband can’t go anywhere without his pillow 😂 and a few books. The later is much used but not tge books. And I had two pairs of shoes I could have left behind. 😂. There is definitely an elevator but no aircon. So extremely hot. The hotel reception gave us a portable fan which did help. The property is located about 5 minutes walk to the main strip in Nuremberg. This is where the action is. The food at the cinema cafe is good . My hisband was able to get a hamburger which he was craving for. I had the spag bowl. Very enjoyable. And the staff pleasant. We walked to all the tourist spot from here. Easily discernible when you look for the small brown directional signs. But not if you don’t know what to look for. The hotel reception gave us a map and circled some of sites which was helpful. Breakfast was good.
- David (6/5): A challenging visit - I selected this hotel for a colleague and I based on the good reputation of the Hilton group and many of the reviews.
The staff and service was very good but was compromised by virtue of the Air Conditioning not working - this was more of challenge than usual due to higher than average temperatures hitting this part of Germany.
Hotel staff reacted promptly, providing ample water and other refreshments and also an electric fan for each room.
The breakfast was good, I especially liked the variation of the hot buffet which was modified each day.
- Natalya (8/5): - Special thanks to Julian! He was very helpful accommodating and just super nice person!!!
- Deniz (8/5): - Close to the city center and easy to park.
- Christopher (8/5): - The hotel was situated in a good area, standard Hilton set up.
I have to point out and give a big thumbs up to the duty Manager Julian, he was exceptional and helpful with all queries, a credit to Hilton with his excellent customer service.
- Dawid (6/5): Hotel na jedną noc. - Bardzo twarde łóżka. Łazienka z grzybem na fugach. Słabe śniadania. Miła i uczynna obsługa, dobra.
- Norman (10/5): - Easy to get to from the airport and well located for mthe city centre and the Christmas markets
- Tony (8/5): - Before I even get to the review, I would like to express our gratitude to the front desk manager Julian who went way above and beyond his duties to help with a situation regarding lost luggage. He was extremely courteous, helpful, professional and just plain kind to us. Other hotel managers can learn from him.
As for the hotel, it’s located outside the city walls but a fairly short walk to the old town. However, it’s very close to the main train station so it’s very easy to get to and from the airport or if you’re planning on doing day trips from here by rail travel. The rooms themselves are on the smaller side and the bed was too hard for me but they’re clean and quite quiet seeing as one side of the property faces a main road and the other faces a train yard. There is a gym in the building and they offer a complimentary breakfast. It is expensive for what it is but, every hotel in Nuremberg is too so there’s no way around it.
Would I say here again? Sure. Location was convenient and the staff were just amazing. Again, Julian, if you’re reading this review: Thank you for helping us deal with our lost luggage.
- Robert (10/5): - Loved everything. The only improvement would be one ice machine in a common area. Going to the bar each time to get ice to cool drinks was a hassle.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - +Θεση, κατασταση καταλυματος, τιμη
-Προσωπικο διαφορων ταχυτητων, ποικιλια προγευματος
- Shannon (10/5): - Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Conveniently located near bus station and old town Nuremberg. Everything walkable. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. I would stay here again for sure.
- Andreas (10/5): As always ... - Nothing much to say really. It was the usual and expected level of quality. Been at the Hampton branch of the Hilton hotel for the 4th time and we will always go back
- Ali (10/5): - Good responsive staff. Cleaning was every day. Location in the center
The only negative was that there was no refrigerator.
- Michael (8/5): - accessible
open for late check in
late check out available
dislikes:
told breakfast was open until 1030 but it closed at 1000
- Gaye (8/5): - Clean modern room with excellent breakfast even by the high German standards. The only drawback is the small size of the room. Short walk to train station and city Centre.
- Doraysi (10/5): - Great Location & Good customer service!
- Cheryl (8/5): Friendly and efficient staff - This hotel was near the train station. It was clean and service was good. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day. My only complaint was that the room was too warm and even with changes on the thermostat didn’t fix it.
- Marlon (10/5): - Centrally located in the heart of the city
- Rajesh (10/5): Excellent location and service - Excellent location, great breakfast, cleanliness, services top notch
- Irene (8/5): Good hotel. - The hotel was in a good situation with the station only 5 mins away. Old town was 10 mins where there are many restaurants. Lovely city. Hotel was good with comfortable beds but let down by lumpy duvets. Also beds were not made up very well and we would have made them ourselves but they were very heavy. Perhaps that's why the girl couldn't do it either. On our last day the room wasn't done at all. Breakfast was basic but adequate although they could have provided better selection of friut than just apples. Our stay was fine and the hotel coped very well with the Covid 19 restrictions.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - the room felt old, dusty and not cleaned. wall was not clean, sheet looked very used and not well washed
- Darwin (10/5): great choice and reasonable - Great hotel very modern 5 minute walk to train station. Excellent free full breakfast included. 10 minute walk to Xmas market. great value and nice room. Ask for room away from train tracks so quieter
- Pueo (10/5): - Walking distance to Tram and shops. Close to Visitor Information.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was on the small side, elevators were having troubles
- Lauretha (8/5): - Lovely, clean hotel. Free breakfast and fast free WiFi
- Wendy (10/5): Lovely weekend getaway - We met up with friends who were there for a conference. The hotel staff were amazing and the breakfast was very nice with a good variety of items. The location was very close to the old part of town and it was easy to walk or take public transport.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a budget hotel, so these comments should be taken in that context.
The accommodation price represents good value for money. But don't expect high levels of luxury.
However, you get everything you need and nothing you don't. And it's clean, safe and located very, very close to Central Station (about 150 metres away).
Where cost containment shows the most is in the breakfast they offer. The breakfast room is just too small for the demand and the orange juice is just a powder based mix that barely resembles 'real' orange juice.
If you can afford to pay more, go elsewhere. Otherwise, book this hotel and put on a happy face. Remember: Don't worry; be happy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice and convenient BUT right next to the railroad tracks. It was well sound proofed though. Short walk to the old city
- Miranda (10/5): - Location is good
Room size is good
Beds are awful and feel like you are sleeping on wood
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is a nice hotel right downtown. only issue is there is very limited parking so you hsbe to figure that part out and can be confusing.
- Duane C (10/5): Very happy with hotel and friendly service. - Very Clean room. Excellent service from very nice staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The only reason I did not rate this facility 5 stars all the way was due to a fire alarm and a bunch of fire equipment arriving in the middle of the night.
The facility is very good and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and spoke excellent English.
This facility is located in an EXCELLENT location, right down the street from the major train station and a few blocks (walking distance) from the "old town".
I would recommend and would stay there again in the future!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The cleanness of the room is not satisfactory and the room service for clean-up is not up to standard
- Verified traveler (4/5): - When I checked in, other ppls hair was found on bed. Some other garbage was found under the bed. Slipper wasn’t included... but breakfast r nice. Staff r nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location and comfortable, staff
Friendly and helpful
Room to hot and air con not cooling,
Noisy if windows opened
- CharlieG (8/5): - Nice hotel right next to the main train station and Old Town area. Comfortable room including coffee/tea in room and coffee and other hot drinks available in the lobby all the time. The staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and recommendations on getting around the city.
- Adam (8/5): - Stayed because of a funeral the next day. Hampton Inn was comforting during a time of stress.
- Raunak (8/5): Great hotel walking distance from Nuremberg Hbf. - Overall great experience staying at this hotel. The lady at the front desk was great to allow us to do an early check in allocate our rooms right away. The hotel is not too far away from Nuremberg station (6-8 mins walk) and not too far away from the attractions of the old town as well. Room was clean and comfortable and sufficiently warm for winter. Breakfast was included and the buffet presented plenty of options for everyone. The free coffee at the ground floor was a plus as well. Would easily recommend this hotel for travelers to Nuremberg.
- harish (10/5): Good Hotel to stay for Christmas market. - Excellent location for the Christmas market.
Good, Comfortable stay.
- Pedro (8/5): - Nice place, accessible, next to the bus terminal and the city center( one stop by subway)
Nice staff. Specially Delio, who was very helpful and very welcoming.
Breakfast could be better, in sausage land one exepects sausage.
Other than the sausage issue, all was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice hotel close to the city center - Very nice all day coffee and tea.
The breakfast was also amazing with the variety of food.
- Linda (8/5): - Overall, we had a great stay...aside from one major issue. At 12:45am, we were rudely awakened by screeching alarms, flashing lights, and screaming instructions (in German, which we couldn’t understand), to evacuate the hotel!!! Everyone poured out of their rooms, and ran down stairs several flights to safety on the street. Several fire engines arrived, and after inspections, and 45 minuets of standing in the cold, we were able to return to our rooms, and very little sleep! The next morning, we were told that the false alarm was due to an individual taking a long, hot shower which set off the alarms! The good news was that the alarms were sufficient, and the incident was handled well. An experience we won’t soon forget!
- Mary (6/5): Very basic but good location. - This is s very basic hotel. No frills. The breakfast was also very mediocre. The only plus is that it is close to the train station.
- stupenalec (6/5): Good location, but basic - On arrival the lady on reception looked as though she had slept in her blouse, our room had holes in the carpet and was dirty, it also backed on to a noisy MAJOR train line network and was noisy even with the windows shut. I complained and they kindly moved us to the front. Reception area was too hot and I was told that the air conditioning was not working properly - it was 35c outside at the time. No real options for an evening meal - we ate next door at the Novotel - v nice. Some areas of the hotel clearly need a bit of tlc in my opinion. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was ok. Have stayed in other Hampton by Hilton hotels and this one doesn’t come close.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel. Easy walk to the train station and City center. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Good breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel close to train station and city centre
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great choice for Nuremberg - Fabulous - clean and efficient hotel with terrific service located within easy walking distance of the town. Great breakfast. Comfortable quiet room.
- Patricia (8/5): Good location, nice but small room - Room was clean and nice, but quite small. Very limited counter space. Main bed was comfortable, but rollaway bed was horrible. The frame was bent and so the bed wasn't level and had a huge lump in the center. Best shower we've had in 2 weeks of being in Germany and Austria.
- John (10/5): Nuremberg hotel - Nice comfortable hotel, 5 minute walk from the train station. Excellent buffet breakfast and very pleasant customer service staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel didn’t have at least a little fridge nor a microwave. Ac was not cold enough to make you at least sleep comfortably.
- Lloyd (10/5): Great Stay - Nice hotel, convenient location, room was small but nice, breakfast was good.
