- Mariam (10/5): Exceptionnel - C’était comme sur une petite nuage, au bord de la mer avec les bruits des vagues halala, nous avons vraiment profité des piscines, eh oui ils ont deux piscines avec des transats dans un espace très confortable et chill. Les personnels au petit soin tout est mis en œuvre pour que vous puissiez profiter et vous reposer. Les chambres sont grandes équipées d’une climatisation et balcon vue sur la mer. Entre la mer et la piscine on avait que l’embarras du choix 😅, et aussi il y’a un accès à la mer par la petite porte juste en face de la piscine.

- Constance (5/5): - la piscine est très agréable et la chambre était jolie avec une très belle vue Les équipements sont un peu vétustes, il semble que le prix soit un peu au dessus de la prestation. J'y suis restée qu'une nuit et heureusement ! La nourriture est vraiment chère (si on compare avec les prix sur place) pour une très mauvaise qualité Gros bémol pour moi dans ce séjour est que quelqu'un s'est introduis dans ma chambre la nuit, c'était sans doute une erreur mais voyageant seule en tant que femme, j'ai été terrifiée par cette intrusion. Dans ce type d'hotel, garantir la sécurité des voyageur devrait être le minimum.

- Denis (6/5): Pratique pour reprendre l'avion, trop obsolète pour séjourner ! et au milieu de nulle part. - Situation au bord de mer et pas loin de l'aéroport. Le petit déjeuner pas mal, bon sauf qu'à l'ouverture la mise en place n'était pas faite donc il a fallut attendre que le buffet se monte petit à petit.. no stress. Etablissement qui mérite un coup de rafraichissement dans les chambres anciennes et les extérieures en générale. La chambre attribuée n'était pas du tout celle réservée. (au prétexte que celle attribuée dans la nouvelle aile était plus confortable...mais avec un seul grand lit et pas du tout au standard souhaité, suite avec deux chambres) On a pas aimé trimballer les valises d'un bout à l'autre de l'hôtel. La couleur de l'eau verdoyante des piscines...

- Marcel (7/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt aber für Sehr gut langt es nicht. - Hotel Anlage war schön mit 2 Pools und Palmen Garten. Direkte Strandlage. Nette Hotelbar mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Teils schon lange dabei. Chapeau. Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt und Sauberkeit mässig. Frühstück immer sehr einfach. Ist. Halt nicht Europa Standard. Obst manchmal Bananen sonst nicht viel. Buffet wird schleppend nach gefüllt wenn man spät kommt gibt es nicht mehr viel. Daran sollte gearbeitet werden.

Nous n'étions pas sur site pendant la journée (randonnée ou autre), nous n'avons pas participé aux activités (apéro ou autres).

- Kirsten (7/5): Eine Woche ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. - Lage direkt am Strand,2.gute Strandbar in der Nähe. Netter verständnisvoller Hoteldirektor,der sich Zeit nimmt für die Gäste und alle Umstände nett erklärt. Gutes Abendessen. Große Reisegruppen belagern laut Bereiche einfach für sich,ohne Rücksicht auf andere Gäste. Man muss für ein gutes Zimmer im Neubau erst verhandeln. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist im Februar sehr hoch frequentiert und oft nicht mehr genug Auswahl. Frühes Erscheinen sichert das Essen auf dem Teller. Abrechnung am Ende schlecht nachzuvollziehen.Aber nicht zu teuer.

- Willemina (1/5): Zeer teleurstellend op alle fronten - Niets Wij kwamen van San Antao en dachten handig vlak bij het vliegveld, 2 restaurantjes op loopafstand en easy transfer naar vliegveld. De kamer was heet en er was wel een airco maar die deed het niet. De restaurantjes namen geen gasten meer aan om 19.00 uur omdat ze om 20.00 dicht gingen. Het ontbijt was slecht de enige optie voor eieren was een te hard gekookt ei met groene rand om de dooier. Verder was het ook niet veel, droge cake alleen witte broodjes. Ons was toegezegd dat we met de bus van 10.00am naar het vliegveld konden worden gebracht. Toen ik dat de volgende ochtend checkte bleek dat de bus al vol zat en wij niet op de lijst stonden.... Alsnog een taxi moeten bestellen voor 2 km betaal je dezelfde prijs als zou je vanuit de stad naar het vliegveld gaan. Er werd geen oplossing geboden door het hotel, ja toen toevallig de manager aan kwam en die ons met de koffers zag staan voor de ingang, bood hij aan ons naar het vliegveld te brengen. Maar dat was te laat en vonden wij niet fair voor de taxi chauffeur die er binnen 2 minuten zou zijn. Ik raad dit hotel ten zeerste af!! Er is geen enkele reden om hier je geld aan uit te geven.

Pas d'ambiance (dépend peut être de la saison), et impossibilité, en tout cas lors de notre séjour, de régler la nuitée par carte : obligation donc, d'aller à Mindelo pour retirer de l'argent.

- Yvonne (8/5): Super fijn verblijf! - Als je geen waarde hecht aan een luxe of modern hotel, maar wel aan échte service, is dit hotel ideaal! We voelden ons meer dan welkom. Het hotel is iets verouderd. Voor ons persoonlijk geen probleem.

- Gérard (8/5): Agréable - Au bord de la plage au bout de laquelle il y avait les tortues. Elles sont nourries....ce n'est pas très respectueux des animaux mais cela permet à un village d'en vivre....à chacun de décider. Donc noria de barques chargées de touristes.....Mais où nous avons nagé nous avons croisé des tortues. Petit déjeuné complet. Ils semblent vouloir relancer l'hôtel. Nous avons eu une "villa" pour 4 très spacieuse donnant sur la piscine. Elle est dans son jus mais sans problème. Il y a une navette gratuite à heure fixe (pour le personnel et les clients) entre l’hôtel, l'aéroport et le centre. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas le soir une navette vers 2130 en retour du centre. Vous pouvez louer sur place des planches à voile.... Il faudrait des Chaises longues et des parasols sur la plage
- Dária Isabel (5/5): Um hotel “resort” que não aceita cartão é inadmissível. - Quartos limpos e os funcionários foram muito simpáticos Quartos mais na ponta do hotel não tinha internet Wi-Fi. Pro preço do hotel, deveriam prever isso. Bar da piscina não abre todos os dias, poucas atividades para os viajantes, xadrez e ping pong não estavam abertos todos os dias. O pior: Não estava funcionando o pagamento do hotel com cartão, me disseram que não funcionava fazia uma semana o que pra mim é inadmissível num hotel “resort”. Pediram pra eu ir levantar dinheiro no distribuidor que havia no aeroporto, pra pagar o hotel e restaurante, tentei cartão visa, Mastercard, american express, Revolut e nada funcionava. Como não sabia onde passava o carro de transporte do hotel até o mindelo, nem o horário que o carro passava no aeroporto, precisei pagar 20€ ir e vir ao mindelo. Cheguei à recepção pra tentar pagar e esqueci que precisava pagar uma excursão na zona, disse a senhora que faltava 50€. Tive que voltar ao mindelo só pra retirar dinheiro as 7h da manhã 3h antes do meu voo. Apesar de haver um veículo de transporte, ninguém avisou o motorista que eu precisava levantar dinheiro e das complicações que tive. Ótimos funcionários da restauração, péssimo gerenciamento infelizmente. Inadmissível estarem mais de uma semana sem aceitarem cartão. Pequeno almoço não era nada de extraordinário. Paguei com cartão em todos os restaurantes a volta do hotel, o que torna a situação no hotel mais inacreditável Passeio das tartarugas com o senhor Carlos foi incrível.

- José (9/5): Um local a voltar para usufruir da tranquilidade que este local proporciona. - O Foya Branca proporciona a experiência de um resort. O espaço é muito agradável, frente à praia, inserido numa zona privilegiada. Os quartos têm terraço privado com vista de mar e conta com várias piscinas e ginásio. Seguramente merece a visita e por vários motivos: a paisagem deslumbrante, a proximidade do aeroporto e a oferta de transporte regular gratuito entre o hotel e o centro da cidade e o aeroporto são apenas alguns. Situa-se numa praia belíssima com várias atividades, tais como observação de tartarugas e corais. Tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer o novo gestor do hotel, Carlos Martins, sempre muito presente e cuidadoso, assumiu a posição há cerca de seis meses e está a restruturar todos os serviços do hotel com know how e mestria. O seu envolvimento direto para que a nossa estadia fosse um sucesso foi a chave para a experiência excelente que tivemos. A formação do staff em que o hotel investe também contribui para o desenvolvimento local. Voltaremos seguramente! O ginásio precisa de alguma renovação, mas está em curso.
- Wenzel (4/5): tegenvallend door verouderde kamers en slecht communicerend personeel - het ontbijt was goed en het zwembad was ook prima, waarbij wel wat parasols ontbraken om in de schaduw te kunnen zitten de kamers waren zeer verouderd waarbij alles houtje touwtje aan elkaar hing met ook slechte verlichting van de ruimtes, het leek erop dat er al heel lang geen onderhoud was gedaan hiernaast viel de behulpzaamheid van het personeel erg tegen, ook de mogelijkheid om in het Engels te communiceren was heel beperkt

- julien (7/5): - Un personnel très à l’écoute, souriant et très investi dans son travail. L’ambiance au niveau du bar, le petit concert pendant le repas. Le buffet le petit déjeuner rien à redire. Nous avons eu un problème avec notre Chambre, mais la direction nous a fait changer de chambre directement. Ils sont très à l’écoute et font de mieux en mieux pour améliorer leur Hôtel.

- Tone Cecilie (8/5): Et godt valg - Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde med oppholdet. Dette var vårt andre opphold på dette hotellet. Super beliggenhet i San Pedro, vakre omgivelser, god mat og service, store og fine rom med uteplass. Eneste minus var litt harde madrasser og at det bare var 2 avganger med flyplasstransport kl. 09.30 og 12.30. I og med at flyet vårt var forsinket fikk vi likevel benyttet den siste avgangen :-) Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbake hit! Vennlig hilsen Tone Cecilie og John

- Verified traveler (6/5): Needs improvement to its services - Hotel has great facilities, room was nice, location excellent. However with few clients and missing services it was below average. Examples - no hot showers on 3 days, no pool towels for 2 days, snack menu not available, pool bar unmanned.
- Sasha (10/5): - I really enjoyed this property. I needed to be near the airport, but also wanted to be on the beach. This place is perfect. The grounds on the property are landscaped very nicely and this made for a very pleasant atmosphere. The beach is of course beautiful and right there. Having a restaurant on the property was convenient too, as well as breakfast.
- Diana (8/5): - Goed aangelegd resort met vriendelijk personeel. Eea heeft waarschijnlijk te lijden gehad onder Corona maar daar wordt aan gewerkt. In mijn week waren er weinig toeristen.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Katastrophale Hotelleitung, Raubüberfall in der Nacht bei geschlossenem Fenster ! Und keinerlei Hilfestellung seitens der Hotelleitung! Keine Entschädigung nix rein gar nichts!
- CARLOS (6/5): - Endroit superbe et plage de rêve. Installations vieillottes ( téléphone qui ne fonctionne pas, une seule clé de la chambre ..(!) donc pour el ménage... ). Dommage car avec des travaux de rénovation il s’agira d’une adresse très sympa.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Belle situation mais Hôtel vieillot qui ne mérite pas les 4*. La route qui amène à l’hôtel n’est pas goudronnée ce qui occasionne à chaque arrivé au départ de l’hôtel en voiture un nuage de « poussière » ce qui est très dommage. Lors de l’installation d’une télé sur le mur les installateurs on laissé la chambre complètement sale nous avons été obligé de demander une intervention pour nettoyer la chambre Il faut demander le changement des serviettes Le frigo ne fonctionnait pas Etc.... Mais le clou c’est la navette de l’hotel Il s’agit d’un véhicule qui ne devrait pas être autorisé à circuler, très sale, on s’attend à tout moment a la panne.....etc.. et en tout cas indigne d’une navette d’un hôtel qui se dit 4*
- Jean-Michel (10/5): Découverte du CAP VERT - Pour un repos bien mérité après avoir sillonné les chemins de SAN ANTAO. Repas buffet très complet et appétissant, personnel sympathique et à l'écoute, belle plage et surtout petite crique très proche super sympa. Séjour en villa au top. Que du bonheur
- Verified traveler (6/5): Beautiful setting let down poor communication - Ok let’s start with the positives. The setting for the resort is STUNNING! The grounds of the resort are definitely where the money has been spent. The not so great : - the prearranged transfer that didn’t happen until 1hour 15 after we had arrived at the airport (galling considering the resort is 5 mins drive away). The manager did attempt to resolve by waiving the fee but still something you should be aware of. -The taxi (booked by staff when given the name of the restaurant ) that literally took us to the other end of the island before taking us to the actual restaurant. When we questioned the manager he advised that one of us had told the driver To go there . Ermm... we have never been to island and speak little Portuguese so how we managed that I don’t know. - the attempt to charge us a never mentioned supplement for Christmas Day dinner despite its being on half board and it being similar to what they served the next day at dinner. It was waived by the manager but again one of those things that grated - bar the rare exception staff were incredibly miserable. As a family we had just come from another island and hotel in Cape Verde where the staff would return your greetings or initiate them... nothing! -the leak in the villa toilet that was mentioned to the reception but not ever fixed -fittings in villa So overall, if you’re not going to be in the resort much and just want a place to stay you might consider it but I would not personally recommend.
- Balazs (4/5): Billig aber sehr billig... - Sehr grosse Enttäuschung. Meine Buchung konnte angeblich "im System nicht gefunden werden", der Rezeptionist versuchte mir daher eine Downgrade zu unterjubeln. Das Zimmer war dreckig (tote Kakerlake unter dem Bett, Splitter eines gebrochenen Trinkglasses unter dem Tisch, Sand überall am Boden). Junior Suite bedeutet keine Zusatzleistung, sondern einfach ein Zimmer mehr, wo es allerdings keine Klimaanlage gibt... mit einem dreckigen Sofa und einem mini 15 Zoll Fernseher. Keine Minibar, nur ein leerer Kühlschrank, kein Mineralwasser wie in der Beschreibung steht. Von den beiden Pools ist das grössere seit langem abgesperrt, nur das 1-meter Pool kann benutzt werden. Strand ist wunderschön, aber nicht bewacht, Vorsicht mit den Wellen! Restaurant war an einem Abend ohne Grund und Erklärung geschlossen. Frühstück ist solala, sehr kleine Auswahl. Positiv: es war sehr billig. Aber nie wieder und auch nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

- willem (4/5): Ongeinteresseerd - Zeer afstandelijk personeel. Matig avondeten.geen animatie. Geen airco in restaurant en bungalow.restaurant hield zich niet aan openingstijden. Vervoer hield zich niet aan de afgesproken tijden.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Groot resort / mooiste van het eiland, mooi gelegen, prachtig strand, zeer rustig, prettig verblijf, schoon, behulpzaam personeel (voor westerse begrippen wel erg langzaam, maar daar moet je aan wennen). Lieve katjes. Weinig vegetarische keus, restaurant aan de overkant heeft een ruimere keus (niet altijd open). Buffet in de avond is goed, maar geen a la carte mogelijkheid, vandaar dat ik het restaurant aan de overkant aanraad, voor de afwisseling, of mindelo. Hoe langer je op eten moet wachten (is onze ervaring) hoe beter het is, je moet vaak lang wachten. Dorp in de buurt (Sao Pedro) is erg arm, eten raad ik daar niet vanwege de hygiene, maar je support wel de locals. Veel zwerfhondjes. Tip, huur een auto! (en geef af en toe een lift aan locals), Baja is prachtig (andere kant vh eiland). Weinig winkels in Mindelo (wel supermarkt uiteraard), neem wat je nodig hebt mee van huis. Dichtstbijzijnde winkel is het vliegveld, voor water etc. Geen winkeltje op het resort. Combineer Sao Vicente met andere eilanden, voor de afwisseling.
- Antonia (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - I was there with my family and we enjoyed everything the hotel and staff had to offer. The staff at the reception area were very nice, polite, extremely helpful and accommodating. We would go into Mindelo and Sao Vicente during the day and come back to the peaceful tranquillity of the Foya Branca in the evenings. The rooms was nice and clean and no complaints about the WiFi....we had great access in our rooms and pool area.
- Eileen (8/5): Off the beaten path but nice - Great hotel on the beach. Only downside is no wifi and lots of wild cats around restaraunts. Relaxing atmosphere with great balcony off room. Lovely ocean view with beautiful stars at night
