Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): Best hotel to stay at around Pittsburgh - Very clean rooms and very friendly staff with a great breakfast I lived everything
- Ruth (9/5): -
- kandan (5/5): -
- Kayla (10/5): Amazing, great location, clean property - The hotel staff was wonderful! Everyone was friendly the hotel was clean and breakfast was great! Nothing our stay couldn’t of been better
- Sachin (4/5): Stayed only one night but the condition of the room was deplorable. - Staff was good and helpful. Breakfast was decent. There was a leaky faucet dripping continuously and it was loud enough that we had to close the bathroom door so we could sleep. The toilet was not clean enough. The water for the shower was lukewarm.
- Paul (10/5): -
- OZER (6/5): -
- Shawn (1/5): Horrible bed bugs don’t go and they wouldn’t refunded us, don’t use booking or this hotel ever - Nothing When we were leaving we strip the beds, as we do everywhere we go, and we found bed bugs that we had been sleeping on all night. My husband has some bites and booking.com who we booked this through and contacted them about this refused to do anything about it or give us a refund. They acted like we made it up and we had photos. The customer service from Booking was horrible. If I hadn’t already paid for things from you all I wouldn’t use you again ever and tell everyone I know how you treat customers and the fact it’s considered a property you have a partnership from and there was no since of urgency to take care of the bed bugs in this huge hotel is scary and gross. To say Very very very disappointed and angry is an understatement . We had to stop on our trip to get all of our stuff cleaned so we don’t take them elsewhere. I am pissed and booking should be ashamed. You lost a loyal customer.
- Shankar (1/5): Forgetting. Felt like running away as soon as we could - Breakfast was better compared to everything else. Poor cleanliness of rooms. Smoked rooms. No lift. Expensive for the number of let downs.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Jeffrey Jay (10/5): -
- Jennie (3/5): Don’t go there - Pool Customer service was horrible
- Kristen (4/5): - Friendly staff especially in the breakfast area. Needs updated, no hot water at all, trash was left in the hallways, no house keeping anywhere in sight, no microwave in room, TV wouldn't turn on, beds were super uncomfortable. Very disappointing for the price paid.
- Kayla (2/5): Location fine. Would not stay here again. - Breakfast was OK and the location was fine. Only nine minutes from where I needed to be in the morning which is why I stayed there. The facilities could’ve been a lot cleaner. Shower leaked all night and kept me up and the beds look like they had previous bedbugs. It was kind of gross and I was unable to sleep. There were bags of what I’m assuming was dog poop outside of the door on the balcony part, and then there were a pair of someone’s underwear in the middle of the sidewalk, which was pretty gross too.
- Naveen (10/5): -
- Harvey (5/5): -
- Brianna (1/5): Horrendous - The breakfast was good. This hotel was so dirty. The place was in horrible condition. It looks nothing like the photos. The Room was dirty with hair and soap scum all over the shower/ bathroom. The pool area was disgusting with mold and rust everywhere. All of the steps into the pool were broken and an accident waiting to happen. The “gym” was dirty and gross with broken/ rusted equipment. I can’t get over how incredibly gross this place is. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- Jodi (5/5): Cost was affordable in comparison with other choices, but the hotel needs an overhaul. - Staff at breakfast were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast items were good. The room had a drip in the shower that could not be turned off. Room itself is old and dated. The sheets on the bed were ripped in places. It was not a room where you want to stay and relax.
It was great location to have a dog because of green spaces to take outside, but the grasses were tick infested and we had to pull off at least 10 ticks afterwards. Not their fault, but maybe a pet safe spray is needed.
- Fabian Eduardo (8/5): -
- Joseph (3/5): - The pool was deep and water was warm the bed was comfortable The room wasn't clean the pillows were tiny the pictures did not match what was advertised for some areas the hot water in the shower ran out quick the balcony door did not lock properly the breakfast was not good very soggy eggs hallways smelled bad of weed at night and the hot tub was tarped over and duck tapped the area the pool was in looked nothing like tge picture very dingy and very small pool towels for $150 a night you would expect way better if it was $50-$60 a night I'd understand the condition of the place but for what we paid to stay for the weekend and what we got I was very disappointed and it was not worth the money they charged for it
- Lucy (9/5): Nice - Staff was great, Heather was amazing The pool was great for the kids.
- Darren (10/5): -
- Tamika (1/5): Never refer this hotel to anyone - I liked nothing The staff was very rude and ignorant the rooms were not presentable they kicked us out 25 minutes after we got there will never stay here ever again very disappointed
- Erica (10/5): - Staff Needs updated
- April (10/5): -
- Hernandez (9/5): -
- DANIEL (10/5): -
- Jacob (10/5): - The staff was very friendly My access key card had issues
- Sailendra (4/5): Good location, but the hotel needs re-modeling. - Location is good. Issues with all appliances. Water in shower did not stop after use. When contacted, they said, support staff would not come unitl 09:00 AM in the morning; hence had to leave the water running and left the room. THe support staff fixed it later. Very old way of checking out. Had to personally go to the desk when checking out. No easier way of transporting the luggage to the room. Very old fashioned.
- Markeia (3/5): - They took my money but I don't get to check in
- Richard (3/5): I will never come back no matter what price you set. - Bugs in the bathroom, floor not vacuumed for weeks, found empty coke bottle from previous guest, hair dryer broken, electrical outlet disconnected and unusable. See above
- Marie (8/5): -
- McDonald (10/5): -
- Trish (5/5): -
- Guest (8/5): -
- Robin (10/5): -
- Megan (3/5): Sad and won’t be staying with this chain again. - It was convenient for our stay but next time will just stay in the city The hotel is bottom standards staff immediately started talking about fines we will pay like there the police issuing situations the staff coded our room keys for the wrong room once in the room it’s grunge shower dirty sink covered in corrosion, the shower when we used it would cut hot water off and get cold tried to get a drink for the vending machine outside the room to see it is out of order along with the ice machine . If your looking for a place to stay in Pittsburgh this is not the hotel
- Jennifer (7/5): - Staff is very nice and helpful Remote for TV was missing. The front desk staff gave my son a replacement but we couldn't get it to work so we gave up. It's not a big deal but might be to someone who really wants to watch TV
Hot water ran out. That one is a big deal. We were told it's because there was a wedding party/guests staying there but it seems like there needs to be a fox so there's enough for everyone even when the hotel is booked to capacity. Ended up having to take a sponge bath and wash my hair over the sink with cold water. That's not acceptable when you've paid about $150 to stay somewhere for one night.
- Tim (1/5): Go somewhere else - Nothing about this stay was to like Well the TV didnt work had to call service to start . We were there to go to the shady side hospital and the patient had to shower in the morning and the water was ice cold no hot water at all. This stay just caused us more stress and anxiety. We will not be back to this location ever
- Venkatesh (6/5): -
- Guest (7/5): -
- Zimperman (6/5): - I liked that there was a restaurant on site. The bathroom tub water never shut off completely. The water in the shower was cold. There was mold in the spaces in the shower.
- shrinivas (1/5): Worst - Closer to the temple No pillow, instead cushion provided for king bed
Food served at the restaurant was frozen food and is priced higher
No room service , No water provided
Had to go to front desk for towels soap and shampoo
- Jeffrey (8/5): Queen facility and friendly staff made for a good stay. - Clean facility and friendly staff Wall seemed thin. I could hear conversations in the hallways.
- shrinivas (1/5): Worst - It’s close to the temple They provided cushions instead of pillows for king bed
No house keeping if you stay less than three days
Intercom phone didn’t work no water was provided
Food at their restaurant was priced higher for food prepped from frozen food
Rusted table lamp … rusted towel hangers
We needed to go to front desk to ask for towels / shampoo and soaps
Will never visit this hotel again… I picked this based on your recommendation… my big mistake
- Shanice (5/5): It was not an easy check in , there was issues with the card I was using that was not noted before I arrived. The room w - The location it was in. The cleanliness of the room. The bad service from the staff , the amenities being limited.
- kellar (1/5): The bedbug inn - The bar was good. There was bed bugs, a cold shower, half the lights in my room didnt work. The window was stuck open.
- Arshaya (2/5): -
- Conard (8/5): -
- Wood (4/5): It is not worth the money!! Needs to be handicapped accessible!! - The understanding and helpfulness of the staff, and location!! Comfortable beds, and nice size TV with a decent cable channel lineup. This hotel is not handicap accessible! My room had a little bit of a stench in it. In the bathroom the trash can was covered in ants, and I had to remove it and place it in the hall. After doing that I use my own Clorox wipes to clean up the floor of the ants! Also in the bathroom was dripping conditioner that went into the tub, and was not cleaned! In my honest opinion, I believe some of the reviews I read online were inaccurate. This hotel will never be booked by me again! $248 for two nights in this hotel was not worth it! My room seemed like it was in the basement where they were doing remodeling. They had mirrors lined up against the hallway, my door was unleveled with a gap in it. There was a telephone in the room that did not work. Rust on the towel rack inside the shower, rusted lamp in the middle on the nightstand of the two beds. Carpet could have been much cleaner! I was in town for my mother's funeral and the location of this hotel was great. It was 13 minutes away from the church where my mother's service was being held, and 8 minutes to wear the repast was being held. I will never stay there again so very disappointed!
- Dana (10/5): - Everything!! Nothing!!!
- Timothy (1/5): -
- Rose (10/5): - The pool was so clean and the PERFECT temp, not freezing like others!!! That i missed breakfast because of hospital appointment, the reason we stayed to be close to the Children's Hospital.
- Mekkia (8/5): -
- Carlos Sullivan (4/5): Scale one to ten! THREE! - The location The room was stinky, the iron was not working, both beds had a dip in the middle,( very uncomfortable)! Couldn't find my reservations!
- Raheem (1/5): 0.5 out of 10 - The location The security follows kids around and presses his ear against the doors as if listening , there’s so many rules and regulations that’s not on the website nor does other hotels have , they act kinda weird/ strict towards people of color, they make rules up as they go , kids didn’t have a fun time adults couldn’t enjoy anything hot tub doesn’t work pool xtra cold they say non smoking but multiple ppl were smoking from there rooms but I was told I would get a $250 charge if caught/ or suspected of smoking anywhere on property there breakfast are not kid friendly and they made a rule right on the spot that (we just my family ) was not allowed to take our breakfast to the room they want you to say in a unsanitary area , all in all nice location very strict guidelines toward people of color I’ll NEVER book here again 0.5/10

- Mirabal (10/5): -
- Mary Rose (9/5): -
- Lorie (9/5): - Staff is great. Food was good at the restaurant on location. Clean. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable.
- Victoria (8/5): -
- Arieyona (5/5): It’s a nice hotel. it just needs to be updated. - Clean, plus comfy beds The hallway leading to the pool was dark and freezing cold. There was no heat or light. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. Moreover, every yogurt in the fridge was expired by two months.
- Alyssa (10/5): -
- Heather Louise ke (1/5): Worst evet - The room had no heat. The whole place is under construction. You have to walk through an icy hallway just to get through the pool. Weren’t allowed more than one towel. Everything was horrible, including the food
- Lorie (7/5): Pleasant and comfortable. - Beds are comfy. Room is spacious. Refrigerator in room. Nice sized TV. Heat worked well. Clean. The upgrades at this hotel are looking great and are very much appreciated. However, more attention needs to be focused on the bathrooms. I've stayed at this hotel many times in the past couple of months. Some of the bathrooms in some of the rooms were not in top-notch functionality. One shower had a faucet that ran constantly and couldn't be shut off - I notified staff at the end of my stay. Some have poor water pressure in the shower. The toilets should be updated, as they use a ton of water to flush. Also, a microwave in each room would be a great addition.
- Avery (8/5): -
- Harold (8/5): -
- Tamika (4/5): It was not that great but we got a chance to sleep before our travel - I was convent No ice unless you go to the whole other side pool had so much chlorine it burned our faces no turkey options for breakfast blood on sheets
- Patricia (10/5): I’ll be back sooner than later! - The eggs were wonderful!
Location was good. Nothing
- Rachel (1/5): Horrible service - The area and the rooms were decent I asked them if they could get a change of sheets because they got dirty. I came back and they literally just put the new sheets on the dresser!! I’ve never been to a hotel that did that. When I asked for new sheets I expected them to change my sheets and put the new ones on the bed. I will never come here again!
- Narasa (9/5): -
- Aaron (1/5): Horrible. - Booked a king bed room, was given a room with 2 single beds. Room was filthy and had to clean it myself. A pile of rocks would have been more comfortable than the beds that leaned to one side. Noise from someone pounding and thumping all night.
- Kayla (4/5): We went out for a family new years fun time! - The breakfast was well. The staff did try and they made the best of it. We rented out the hotel for a family fun thing to do. No soap in the showers, beds were broke, blow kegs had stuff on them.
We did have some issues with the pool. We made a mistake took food in the pool. But quickly took it out when told not all our. But then the guy sat with us for almost 45 mi it’s to make sure we have rooms. When we in fact had enough rooms for everyone there. Just felt very uncomfortable. The bathrooms down there had no attention at all. And no towels in the pool house next day.
The front desk staff was friendly though! And the breakfast next day was Decent. The girl did well doing it alone!
- Rose marie (2/5): Very poor accommodations. Will not return - Location Shower was dirty. No shampoo. Informed front desk and nothing was done. Strong smoke smell in hallway which seeped into the room. Will not be staying at this Comfort Inn again!
- Richard (8/5): - Breakfast was great The pool was closed and it was not advertised when booking
- Chintapalli (3/5): -
- Harvey (5/5): -
- Terri (9/5): - Price Smells funny in some rooms
- Richardson (8/5): - Your beds were so comfortable and very clean room No turkey sausage or turkey bacon I don't eat pork
- Daja (1/5): it was a nightmare. - the location was nice. the front desk staff let a unknown man into my room & he stole my belongings while i was down eating breakfast. & when i asked for a manager she told me No she will call the police herself. very unprofessional & very argumentative!
- Davud (7/5): It’s was nice and this particular location offers a variety of extras like breakfast and had a pool - It’s in a nice location Nothing really
- Lena (6/5): My stay. No - Quiet great breakfast and pool was warm and clean Room need vacuumed between beds and night stands. Metal in bathroom rusted sink faucet handles backwards me. Pillows were cheap and flat. Hallways were freezing. And toilet didn't not flush very good and actually clogged
- Vincent (2/5): - Not mych Rusty, old, side window door is opened when come in. Shower tub is water is blocked.many more.. I paid close to 300 for a hotel for homeless.
- Guest (4/5): Fine for sleeping one night cheaply with good breakfast, but don’t go if you are a clean freak. - Breakfast was fine although there was a woman there who was watching us like a hawk for unknown reasons.
It was fairly quiet in the room. There was a giant cloud of marijuana smoke when we went into the building. The sheets were dirty on one bed and the comforter was missing on the other bed. The halls were gross and dingy and being remodeled apparently but were also just gross besides that.
- Richard (8/5): -
- Andrew (2/5): -
- Stephen (1/5): Horrible - Horrible Everything
- Valera (10/5): -
- Crystal (5/5): Ok - Location Room had dust everywhere and the windows were nasty dead bugs everywhere
- craig (9/5): On the way to excellence. - Great location and amenities. Excellent food. Rooms, hallway, entry and restaurant are newly remodeled. Extensive upgrading underway. The pool area is about to be worked on which will be a significant improvement.
- Shameka (10/5): -
- Richardson (9/5): -
- Saint lot (10/5): -
- Diehl (4/5): - It was close to the city. Check-in staff was unfriendly. I booked for 4 people. They only gave wristbands for 2 people and when I went back in to get the other 2 I was questioned and I had to pull up my booking.vom reservation to correct it. Didn't get an apology, just an attitude.
The pictures on booking.com were nice and that's why I booked. The facility was dirty. The pool was covered in green moldy looking stuff. The entire place was under construction which is fine but the room we booked was dirty. I found bottle caps on the floor. The fixtures in the shower were completely rusted. The phone in the room did not work. I feel like I paid way too much for what I got.
- Joseph (10/5): -
- kimaR1399DZ (2/5): hotel is gross and way overpriced dirty moldy - It looks like the remodel is only replacing carpet not good. Our room was not like others on being dirty, HOWEVER there was a pill on the ground by the bathtub and these days with fentanyl dangerous who knows how long its been there. This was not the worst thing, The pool which I was looking forward to (the hot tub hasn't worked in years ) the pool floor you dont want our feet touching to step on its coming off it needs resurfacing, as soon as I was in the deep end there was black mold on the wall!!! I immediately got out and for it I got sick for 3 days over it. The windows are gross and old can see mold&dirt in them and walking down the hallway either the windows are broken on the bottom cold air is coming thru them and it was October and cold wait til December see how bad it is then. This room was about $150 with taxes its not even a 1 star. Avoid at all cost.
