• Theodora (2/5): Hotel Peincipe is not sanitary and needs major renovation. - Only the reception staff and 1 maintenance personnel was friendly. The cleaners was not friendly and nasty. The tiles in the bathroom needs to be scrubbed the sheets and blanket on the bed was not changed I could see soil on them and they smelled old. The wooden door was cracking open. The slide door could slide well due to dirt build up. The television was not working in room 27. The glass are not cleaned. It was overall horrible and unclean. O and the pool water was so dirty like it has not been cleaned for sometime. I would never recommend them. The room don’t even have a blow dryer or iron. No bodyway or shampoo was in the dispenser in the shower. HORRIBLE.

• Libni (4/5): - Alberca muy sucia. Aire acondicionado no servia. No lo podias apagar. No se podia regular temperatura. Lo apagamos un rato durante la noche por el frio y al sentirse el calor un tato despues se intento prender y no se podia. 3 de la mañana y esperando que el personal lo prendiera lo cual tambien les costo muchísimo hacerlo

• Luis (6/5): - No WIFI en las habitaciones, instalaciones hidraulicas baños, muy viejas. Personal de recepcion sin experiencia. Informacion erronea de acceso a internet en las habitaciones y falta de telefono en las mismas. Las llaves del lavamanos y de la ducha muy antiguas y piso de la ducha muy resbaloso. Nos asignaron una habitacion el el TERCER PISO sin elevador y somos personas mayores que tuvimos que subir nuestro equipaje nosotros mismos.

• Kris (2/5): - I paid for 2 rooms before I arrived at the property just to avoid any hassle. When I checked in, I was told there were no room available. Two minutes later, the guy came and Said he just noticed that someone check out two hours ago and the rooms should be clean and ready. I got my room keys, went upstairs to my room just to find the room in a total mess. There were the sheets wrapped up on the bed, the floor was wet and dirty Towels on the floor. I then had to go back downstairs (Staying on the third floor) The elevator is not working so I had to use the stairs, Where I told the receptionist that the room was dirty. Who then told me that I would have to wait 1 and half hours for the room to be cleaned. I had no other option but to wait. After he came back and said the room was ready, I went back to the room. There were no towels or toilet paper. I had to again leave from the 3rd floor and go back downstairs and told him that there is no towels and there is no toilet paper in the room. They then gave me two towels one roll of toilet paper and I informed them that the room I booked, was 4 of us stating in. My wife, my 2 kids and I so I would need 2 additional towels. They said I can only get 2 towels still. I had to leave Hotel to purchase two towels, because we do not share towels at home. I got back went to use the bathroom on the toilet and the toilet seat caved in with me. I have pictures of how the room was when I arrived, and I also have pictures of the toilet.

• Marcos Dianel (6/5): - Es un hotel antiguo en el centro de la ciudad. La limpieza dejó mucho que desear y las instalaciones están deterioradas. El Internet falló la primera noche y cada vez que salías y regresabas tenías que volver a registrate. No lo recomendaría, quizá solo sería opción para quienes buscan un hotel de paso para dormir una noche.

• alfonso (2/5): - Al hacer check out el empleado de recepcion cobraba cantidad extra por mascota no especificado en expedia, el trato fue bastante prepotente e inclusive expreso que al ser cliente de expedia que no le importaba lo que expedia pudiera hacer al quejarnos. El cobro fue de casi $800 lo cual se les pago, el operador del hotel expreso que le hicieramos como quisieramos y que no les importaba si los demandabamos

• Marianna (10/5): - The place is just fine for the money, in a quiet area, nice parking, used to be very nice for sure - but now needs a bit off renovations, the linen is well worn out, towels are old, the ceiling needs attention, but ac worked, there was hot water and overall the place is clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is a restaurant on site too. We didn’t use the pool but it was open and looked usable:) overall a good option for small budget!
• Christina (1/5): Bad - The rooms shown in the pics are for their executive rooms. The rooms we stayed in is on the old side of the hotel. The elevator is out of service. The fixtures in the room are old and dilapidated. The ceiling in the bathroom has mold. The room is very small and we stated four persons were staying in the room but the staff only wanted to give 2 towels. The service is very poor. Wouldn't recommend.

Bathroom really small..Also did not like that the bathroom light and one of the room light are both controlled by one switch which is outside the bathroom. When want to use bathroom and turn on the light it tends to annoy others in the room trying to sleep.
• Deborah (5/5): It was an okay stay. - The rooms were neat, clean and tidy. The location was ideal for shopping and finding nice places to eat. The pool was nice and clean. The internet service was poor. The cleaning staff required of us to leave the room prior to check out. The internet was not accessible in our rooms.

• Kalifa (1/5): Horrible stay. Will never redo. - Nothing, we liked nothing. Upon arrival we stayed about an hour trying to convince ourselves to stay. But shortly left and went to another hotel. I didn’t like that they didn’t have a functioning pool, it smelled moldy, the bathroom was not up to par, there was NO WIFI, the front desk moved extremely slow like 45 mins just to check us in. It’s like the remnant of what used to be a grand hotel is left behind in shambles.
• Leolyn (4/5): Substandard rooms - Great location and parking to spend no more than a day. Room needs serious upgrade. Dysfunctional Shower, generic tv didnt work. Receptionist promised to have it checked but to no avail.

When we showed our reservation with proof of payment, they said they wouldn’t honor the reservation and we needed to get a refund from Expedia. They claimed their system is not updated , hence why it showed they had available rooms on Expedia. Terrible staff with bad attitudes.

• Kiyah (4/5): - We weren’t able to ask for extra towels after the pool so we had to shower with the wet ones. The internet connection is non existent. No do not disturb sign so room service comes into your room while you sleep. The bathroom has no floor mat and we had bugs in our bathroom. The pool was nice. Hotel is not good for a vacation stay but for just a quick check in and out.

There was no wifi for us to stay connected with family & friends plus the staff had us in circles before even attempting to address us. The pool water was very dirty looking and no flowing water. I will attach photos. Their television was unusable because there was no internet and it was a tv from the Stone Age.
• Rony (2/5): Very poor - Staff was very hostile. Arrived from Cancun tired around 5am and they didn’t want to receive me. Thankfully I paid online so I was able to get my room. Checkout was 1pm and they asked me to be out by mid day.

• Denese (7/5): Hotel Principe - The rooms were cleaned and the AC was cool and welcoming especially in the hot climate we are having presently. We arrived at the hotel 2pm after we were scheduled to arrive at 1pm the room was not ready, we had to w8 until 3pm to get a room, the following day we went shopping came a little after 12pm to collect our items and give up the room. The staff was already in the room placing our items outside the hotel so they could clean. Imagine getting a room at 3pm to check out 12pm the following day. The room was smaller than advertise, the pool changed my son's pants from blue to purple so imagine the chlorine in it.

• Brise (6/5): Good value, one of the better budget hotels. You get what you pay for. - Disappointed the restaurant was closed as there was not much close by for breakfast. Everything was a brisk walk or cab ride away for fine dining. The rooms need updating but for the price, you can't beat it if you want a basic clean room. My only complaint is the pillows were really hard. It has a nice pool and really good WIFI and cold AC. The staff was really helpful and even ordered a pizza to our room for us. Clean, basic accommodations with a great staff. The pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on. The linens were old and a little worn. The rooms could use updating, but then the price would go up, so it really comes down to you get what you pay for so what I got is what I expected.

Restaurant was still closed. No coffee available. Their was no chairs to lay down on at the pool. only tow tables with chairs.
