• Sarah (8/5): Amazing view from pool and very comfortable. - Great Brekky and view from our 2 br villa, the top pool and restaurant. Stairs, but we were prepared and we managed them just fine. Our 5 yr old managed them no probs despite being steep and long. Bathrooms in need of an upgrade and hot water tap in shower couldn’t turn but we had the shower in the second room so wasn’t really an issue.

• Chrystelle (4/5): Nice but would not stay again - Our villa was lovely and big and being up high up the cliff, had a beautiful view of the whole bay. The tranquilty is lovely during the day, lots of trees, birds and our room was just up from the pool and restaurant which was super handy. The top pool (there is 2, one is next to reception) is an infinity pool with a view of the coastline. Lots of lounge chairs and restaurant is right there so you can grab drinks/cocktails and sit in the pool and watch the sunset. The bed was comfy, air con worked great and there was a mini fridge which was really handy. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant are also really good. Pricing was quite good for food and beverage. The staff were great and took us and the luggage up to the room by golf cart and they also walked the luggage down so we didn't have to try to manage that on our own with the all the stairs. They organised transport for us really early for our snorkelling trip as well and organised the boat transfer to Lembongan with Rocky boats which was also great. They provide a few bottles of water for drinking and also for brushing your teeth (the property has boar water). There is a little enclave beach and you can walk along the beach path which has restaurants and bars along the way but they are a bit pricey otherwise you would need to take transport to the main areas like Mushroom Beach or Jungutbatu Beach. Because the villa was right at the top, getting up and down with the amount of (super steep) steps to get to and from the room was not fun. If you have any mobility issues, I would absolutely not recommend - or would request a lower room so not too many steps. It is hard on the knees and calves -but it is a good workout in the absence of a gym. The other issue was the noise at night. First night there was rooster crowing until 10pm then started again at 2:30am until 7am. Second night, rooster crowing PLUS barking dogs all night. Turns out there is a chicken coop right behind the property. The dogs may have been a one off. Unsure. It's a shame because the daytime tranquility and the view are best part of the property. The bathroom was huge but the shower doesn't have a proper shower rail facing down so it's hand held and water tend go get everywhere because its an open shower. Soap, shampoo etc is provided but it's attached to the wall next to the shower.

• Jodie (7/5): Great views! Friendly staff! Facilities are a bit tired but value for money. - Location is great! Friendly staff. Our second stay at this location, the facilities are getting tired and would benefit from some upgrades and investment but reasonable value for money. The stairs would be an issue for anyone with limited mobility.

The staff at the restaurant were always really friendly and inviting There was mould on our bed sheets, curtains and mosquito net which caused us to get sick while we were staying there. The rooms could’ve been cleaner and the bed wasn’t too comfy. Our aircon leaked twice while we were staying here causing the room to be very hot at night but they got it fixed pretty fast the next morning

• Rachel (9/5): The best location on the island - if you want 5 star room this is not for you but if you like a good view you won’t find - The views and the pool were spectacular. The staff were happy to help with requests but not at all pushy. We were able to get mopeds at very reasonable price. The restaurant served tasty food and had the best view on the island. The interconnecting rooms we had were perfect for our family and located near the top pool and the restaurant but far enough away to be peaceful and private. The team took our bags to and from our room and we really didn’t find the steps a problem at all. The beach below is beautiful with white sand and plenty of options for water activities if you feel so inclined! Some things in the room were a bit dated and wouldn’t take much to change. The fridges (which did work) were older, the bathrooms were dated and the water pressure low. None of these things however made us think we would have been happier anywhere else. Just think the hotel could raise its rating by addressing them!
• Josie (7/5): Nice but tired - The location and pool are definitely the best parts. You’re far enough removed from the town that it’s peaceful but it’s very easy to walk in and is close to nice restaurants. The pool is lovely with a beautiful view. The staff were also very friendly. The rooms are quite dated and basic. The bathrooms particularly could do with an upgrade and there is little to no water pressure in the shower. There is also no hand soap which I found odd, especially in somewhere like Bali. The wifi is almost not worth having it’s so bad. If you have mobility issues then I wouldn’t recommend staying here as there are many steep stairs you have to climb to access the rooms from the lobby.

• Adrian (10/5): Perfect 🤩 - Amazing location!! It’s a short walk down the hill and along the front to The Deck. The views are amazing, the staff outstanding, obviously. The beach at the bottom is lovely too, with surfboard hire. I could fault this place. You need to be pretty fit getting back up the hill 😅

Hired a scooter that kept overheating & stopped, management told us it was fine & was hesitant to give us a replacement

All staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely loved the location as the beach and restaurants around were beautiful. The insects in the room is understandable given that there was a mosquito net, but the toilet was really bad and terrifying. Every day the smell gets worse (probably from the drain) and there is a new dead insect or lizard crawling somewhere. The shower and bidet is full of rust and the water quality is not good.

Short walk down to the boardwalk, and The Deck restaurant is nearby which we enjoyed. They drove us up to our room as it was the highest, so we didn’t have to go up all the stairs with our bags which was nice It was quite run down, most things in the room needed a good clean (fridge, curtains, mosquito net, etc). There were lots of bugs and there were ants in the bathroom and the mini fridge (but they do provide insect spray and a plug in repellent). Lots of stairs

• mark (1/5): Not recommended! - The views were great Run down dirty and in dire need of a big renovation. We only stayed one night was considerably unhygienic so we cancelled the rest of our stay and moved .

Vi fick först ett rum som hade dels mögel i badrummet i tak och runt dusch samt handfat, men även i sovrum vid nattduksbordlampan. Enstaka eluttag var var synligt lösa samt myrinvasion. Efter att ha fått byta till ett bättre rum längre upp på berget, så upptäckte vi istället kackerlackor i badrummet och spindlar i sänghimlen efter någon dag. I övrigt var rummet bra Vi förstod inte att det var så långt upp på berget och så många trappor för att komma upp till sin bungalow

Breakfast was fantastic, their omelette was excellent. Tried both restaurants on the beach, and both were fantastic. We wish we could have stayed more! Yes, the stairs and the hills. But you have to climb the stairs to get the view!

The bathroom is very old, the toilet didn't flush. The aircon didn't work very well. The curtains dont block out the light.

• Devjanee (9/5): I absolutely loved my stay. The view was spectacular. Having a restaurant onsite was also very convenient. - The cliff view was the best. We stayed in the villa next to pool. The view from our porch was spectacular. The pool was decent sized. There was also a shallow part which is convenient if you have a little one. There’s a restaurant right next to the pool. It was very convenient. The food was decent. Hotel can also arrange water activities upon your request. They can also arrange boat trips from the main island and drop off and pick ups. There is also a spa facility available for booking, but I didn’t use it. We had to climb long stairs to reach our villa. It was not easy if you have luggage. If you only have bag pack and do not mind climbing stairs, it should be fine. There is a path where they could drive you up to the top of the cliff to reach your rooms if requested.

Unfortunately we felt that the property is let down by the owners - the rooms need some time and money invested back into them - particularly the bathrooms. There was black mould growing on the ceiling in the main room.

We went with two small children - 3 years and 6 months. Staff were so lovely, especially Roffie who made such an effort with our kids. Staff were also very accommodating with a change to our booking. It’s a great hotel but feels a bit tired. We’d still highly recommend and would stay again.

• Edwards (9/5): Beautiful gardens and views. Lovely villas and very helpful staff. - The breakfast, like all the food is excellent. So delicious. The staff were very friendly and so helpful. The pools are so beautiful and clean, and the views over the coast, ocean and nearby main island including the volcano are incredible. I had a Balinese massage which was also very good. There are a lot of stairs. Although this was ok for us, it would be very difficult for older or informed people.

There were so many steps - which is fine but we had small children and didn’t realise how many steps we were going to need to go up to our rooms and the restaurant.

• Virginia (8/5): I love Nusa Lembongan and will return to this hotel - The view was beautiful, the location central, The two pools were large and lovely, the steps were many but not too bad and I was with my 64 year old mother. There was a sense of privacy and the staff were there when you needed them but not hovering over you. They were very helpful and reliable when arranging transport. Nothing to report, all good

• Gapps (8/5): We loved our time at the cliff villas and our time on Nusa Lembongan. The staff are exceptional and incredibly approacha - The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfy aswell and the room quite clean and spacious. The included breakfast we had was perfect for a first meal of the day. The views of Nusa Lembongan bay were the best on the island. The bathroom was a bit outdated and the water pressure from the shower was weak.

• Danita (10/5): Fabulous! We’ll be back. - We loved our stay. Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. The staff were amazing! So helpful and accommodating, booking activities and scooter for us. Had a lovely massage at the spa. The food was great. We ate in the restaurant a number of times and had breakfast every day. Fruit, juice, coffee, toast and either pancakes or eggs and bacon. Due to being on the cliff and many stairs it was great having a pool at both the top and the bottom of the Villas. Great location and an easy walk along the boardwalk and beach to other restaurants and shops. The stairs aren’t fun but we knew what we were getting in for so that was fine. The view from the room is worth it.
