• Tour63900286906 (10/5): A hotel with a very beautiful classic building - The hotel icon of the city of Kediri with very beautiful old buildings. This hotel offers a classic model of old times. Who has a very strong character. This hotel is located in the middle of Kediri and close to the salt warehouse. So access anywhere is very easy.
• mudofirh (4/5): Old strategic hotel - Old hotel located in strategic place in Kediri. Looks like big home. From receptionist you must across garden n pool before meet hotel rooms. Hotel rooms furniture mostly from wood. Minimize facilities
• anitarN4146JL (2/5): the sound from the discotic near by would not stop until 3am in the morning it is so loud you would not be able to sleep - the sound from the hotel's discotic is so loud. i guarantee that you would not be able to sleep until 3 am in the morning! although the hotel manager (mbak jeje) is super helpful but it would not hide the fact that this hotel is screwed. never ever bring your family to stay in this hotel! this is not a hotel! it is a dischoteque!
• fajaradiartha (8/5): Old Fashioned hotel - Most likely the oldest hotel in Kediri city. I spend some time here in the morning on my third day of business trip in Kediri. Breakfast is good with mainly local delicacy but the seat and table is limited. It's an old and classic hotel. The hotel has a beautiful pond in the middle that has a number of fishes and two ducks.
• Nora786 (8/5): Calming atmosphere - Nice first impression. Pleasant and calming atmosphere as you walk from the lobby to the room you see a pond with a pair of duck. Delicious indonesian breakfast n friendly staff. They provide firm n soft pillows n free ironing service which is nice. Clean . Really value for money.
• muhamadsamsula (10/5): Great old hotel - This hotel is old but have great vibes. This hotel have colonial architecture but still good to take a night in this hotel. The breakfast is so good, traditional Kediri Food and some indonesia food. This hotel near a main area of Kediri or Dhoho Street. Great experience to stay at this hotel.
• ayomapricia (8/5): Affordable price - The hotel is clean and nearby to shopping area and train station. It's a short trip so I didn't stay there for a long time but overall the service are quite ok. The bathroom are clean too. It's a nice place to stay when you visit Kediri.
• joGLOW81 (8/5): A Heritage in the heart of the City - It was my first business trip in the glorious city of Kediri.You could taste a various authentic dishes of the city after full stress day. Well,first impression came in this hotel I found my self throwing back in the colonialism era.its building and the atmosphere were so perfect. With warmest service from the staff,I really recommended for those who want to spent good nite rest after a whole day. Too bad,for whom wants to get an exercise to shape your body,this hotel did not provide gym area and swimming pool as well.Hopefully in the next, this hotel could provide it. In the middle of this building you could find fishes ponds and the connecting bridge that connected to all rooms.so relieving your mind to end the journey.
• 537hartonot (8/5): Hotel Merdeka Kediri - Located in Kediri city center and nearby shopping street. This hotel had small garden and fish ponds. Room space quite big and clean and also wi-fi available inside room. Breakfast had many kinds of local food and taste delicious. Room rate quite competitive.
• setyoh139 (8/5): Cheap but satisfied - Clean rooms, cozy atmosphere, but the breakfast less proportional and not immediately add when it runs out, but the breakfast hour is still quite long. Service is very friendly and helpful at all for guests staying.
• GrandTour149488 (8/5): My night at Merdeka Hotel - It was a nice place to stay. A vintage yet modern hotel. The food is a bit above average. But the service is swell. Nice place to stay over night at a small city like Kediri. Hopefully this Hotel will be a well recommendation​ destination one.. cheers!!
• ayomapricia (8/5): Worth it - It's a nice place to stay wit affordable price. The meal cost are not to pricey depends on what kind of meal you are choosing. It's in the center of Kediri. Easy to go everywhere. You can walk a bit and get a proper meal near by. Around 15-20 minutes to train station by walk. The service is good after all.
• Puputyusda (10/5): Hommy n strategic - Very nice, the price fair enough. Best location cause it lay on the centre of Kediri, Dhoho street. Tips: best room our choice is deluxe 1 bed close the fish pool, our children realy love it because we can feed the fishes (we can ask the food for fishes In the front desk)
• yuliaditha (6/5): Eid Mubarak fam's holiday - Finally got a room in this hotel....We've got the deluxe room. Quite nice room...clean n comfort...but a little bit hectic when on breakfast time....n the chicken seems smelly..not fresh... All staf wears smile pin n always give greetings...so friendly...
• ariessantoso (4/5): Too Small Chair and Not Reliable WiFi - Every visit I hope they change the desk chair, it's too small for a big person and I have to use a pillow to risen up above the handrest. Okay, the WiFi is too damn horrible. I get it, it's about 1Mbps but the signal often get lost and even worst always not stable and no connection everytime. I have to use my phone portable hotspot to get online.
• fransiskasusant77 (6/5): Nice place but bad bathroom - The location is very strategic and near from shopping mall and food. The price is average. the garden is really beautiful, and the food is delicious. The staff was fast to fix the Air-conditioner problems in my room. However, i got the bad bathroom, it was smell very bad, and they can not help my problem about it. If you go to this hotel do not choose room number 122, try to get in the second floor maybe its better.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms face a beautiful garden with the pond, so we stayed in the relax atmosphere. All of their staff at the reception, restaurant and house-keeping are very helpful.
• Aji2206 (4/5): Tobacco motel - This hotel was pre-booked, for my business trip in Kediri. So, I just can't get any way around it. The premises looked nice. Two story building with a garden in the middle. Check in was swift, perhaps due to the group owner that booked for us. Coming into the room, I feel like this should be a motel rather. Cigarette smell everywhere. Dated and worn amenities. The bathroom has been refurbished. But how come they still use soap bars? Wifi was free, but the signal was not distributed evenly. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good night's sleep. Come morning, I went out for a walk. It's a nice small town. But you need to have your own vehicle to get around. There's not much public transportation. Went back to the hotel for a limited variety of breakfast. Didn't bring up any appetite. So, I just chew what I can and get back to my room to freshen up. Check out was also swift, didn't wonder why. Recommended? Sorry, definitely no.
• ayom812 (6/5): Nice hotel but minus in service - This hotel is nice, the garden view is excelent, the room is clean, big, and quiet good, the bed is very big, that's all is so nice, BUT taste of food for breakfast is very poor. In fact, this morning the taste of the orange juice is bad, smelt bad and taste bad. The wifi signal is very good, but the internet connection is slow. And I think the pillow is too hard, that's not comfortable for my neck.
• Verified traveler (4/5): ちょっと粗末なスペリオール - 値段は大変理想的でしたが，部屋があまりに粗末でした。値段相当だとしても，バスルームの電気が切れ，戸棚の扉は固く外れた状態で使用，部屋に時計がない，部屋の中で蚊が飛ぶ，外の水ポンプモーターの音がうるさい。救いは，立地条件が良いこと，ランドリーが早くて安いこと，朝食の種類が多く美味しいことです。
• Jug64 (8/5): Relaxing garden - Had the plessure to stay one night. Relaxing garden terrace room with view to the fish pond. Did not care that there is no wifi in the room. Staff friendly, even opened the restaurant for breakfast 30 minutes before opening time. Rooms are spacious and clean. Walk in shower.
• Yuni (4/5): Reservasi Hotel yang kacau - Baru kali ini saya kecewa dengan hotels.com, saya tidak tau kesalahannya di pihak hotels.com atau pihak hotel merdeka. Saya melakukan reservasi untuk tamu, betapa malunya kami saat check in pihak hotel mengatakan kalau hotel merdeka tidak ada kerjasama dengan hotels.com sehingga tamu terlantar di lobby hotel kurang lebih 3 jam-an. Setelah berdebat dengan pihak hotel merdeka, akhirnya tamu kami mendapat "kebijaksanaan" untuk menginap selama semalam saja, dan untuk malam berikutnya "masih belum pasti" ????? Saya menelepon 2 kali ke call center hotels.com katanya akan diselesaikan dengan pihak hotel dan akan menghubungi saya kembali. tetapi setelah menunggu 1 jam tidak ada telepon balik/follow up sama sekali, baru setelah telepon ketiga kalinya mereka memastikan kalau tamu kami mendapat "jaminan" kamar sesuai dengan pesanan saya (yg telah terbayar lunas) yaitu 2 malam. Jadi ilfil nih reservasi hotel di hotels.com semoga tidak ada lagi kejadian seperti ini.
• 404nital (8/5): Vintage Hotel - I was staying in Merdeka Hotel when I was in business trip to Kediri. it was an old building but quiet nice and clean. the staffs are friendly, the deluxe room was nice, since the king size bed sheet was clean, the towels smells good and all the bathroom equipment are complete. the breakfast are western and local food. Its fair for IDR 490.000, satisfying.
