• 280natalyag (6/5): Disappointing experience - The hotel has a good medical base with modern equipment, and the medical staff are generally professional and friendly. However, the overall treatment approach felt overly commercial and somewhat impersonal. There was a strong impression of a “one-size-fits-all” system, where treatments were assigned according to standard packages rather than carefully tailored to each guest’s individual condition and needs. In addition, the level of service does not match the hotel’s advertised 4-star status. The organization, guest service, and overall attention to comfort could be significantly improved. As a result, the hotel may be suitable for those primarily focused on procedures and medical facilities, but guests expecting personalized care and true 4-star hospitality may leave disappointed.

• ju (9/5): - Wunderschönes Haus, fußläufig mitten in die Stadt, sehr freundliches Personal, den Poolbereich hatten wir fast für uns alleine, allerdings waren wir auch an einem trüben Januar Wochenende dort. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, wir würden unbedingt wiederkommen. Der Parkplatz war sehr winzig und man mußte außenrum ins Hotel, da wir das mit dem engen Parkplatz davor schon gelesen hatten sind wir mit dem kleinen Auto meiner Mutter hingefahren, wo auch ein paar Macken nix gemacht hätten- was wirklich eine gute Entscheidung war.

• simonamL3848CA (10/5): Luxury Without Pompousness - This is my 7th or 8th stay at this hotel (and my parents stayed there several times more). It is practically a second home for us. The people are all familiar, and the core staff remains the same after so many years – this means something! So, why do we go back specifically there? Rooms - This time we stayed at the newly opened St. Joseph tower. The rooms are so spacious, with attention to the smallest details. In the double room, you have a separate bathroom from the toilet for the greatest privacy comfort. The water pressure is spot on, the beds comfortable, the TV has everything you might need from one, and if anything goes wrong, you immediately get a technician to fix the issue for you (we had a problem with the towel heater that was fixed promptly). Every space is big, and there's room for anything you might imagine you'd need for a prolonged stay. The closets are lit, the lighting is soft, and the decor is tasteful. Sleep quality - I'm a problematic sleeper, and this is the only hotel I get the perfect night sleep (as good as in my own home). You get an exceptional orthopedic mattress, and if it's too harsh for you, you can request an additional softer mattress that makes your sleep experience the best. Cleanliness - Can't complain. The towels, bathrobes and bedsheets were changed frequently. The rooms were always spotless, and the general feeling was comfortable and homely. You could also see the cleaning staff working tirelessly throughout the day in the public areas as well. Noise level - Inside the rooms, it was always quite, and we lived on a floor through which all three towels are connected, so there was quite a bit of traffic. Amenities - 3 saunas, a pool, a gym, a yoga studio, a kids' playing area. All are functional and greatly appreciated. The Finnish sauna has been remodeled, and it's very pleasant. My only wish is for it to be hotter (it's been only 72° unfortunately). Everything else worked as expected and the pool attendants were efficient and welcoming. Location - It's impossible to think of a better one. The hotel is close to everything you might need in Karlovy Vary, making it a comfortable place to move to and from. Finally, the service, or as I call it - the people. The staff at the hotel are truly exceptional. As I mentioned, I've known most of them for years at this point, so it is like coming home. We were greeted by Iva at the reception. She was phenomenal, explained everything thoroughly and was just a generally gracious host. The spa team headed by Svetlana and Drs Irina and Tatiana are professional to their core. Every concern was addressed, and nothing was left untreated. A special thanks to Eva, Petra, Nadia, Jana, Jan, Georgy, and all the rest of the wonderful spa team for being so kind, welcoming and just overall professionally competent. The restaurant team were exceptional as well, working like a truly well oiled machine. Of course, we can't ignore Marcela, Georgina and the general manager Jan. They were (and are) so attentive to us, and always made sure to ask for our opinion, even when we were just passing through the corridor. Their policy is truly an open door one, and that means a lot for frequent guests, and for those who come for prolonged stays. Overall, I would summarize the hotel and stay as luxury without pompousness. This is precisely what I am looking for in a vacation of this kind.

• O8844PH_ (10/5): Awesome place to relax - It was my first stay, but I will definitely come back. It's a nice and clean hotel with a great SPA. The personal is outstanding, every nurse and doctor is a real gem. The food is really decent, almost didn't repeat during my 8 days stay. Choice of 3 ice-creams every evening! The pool is on the rooftop. You can see the sky when you're swimming. The very important thing: the bed is perfect. You can choose orthopedic pillow if you want.

I would come again. Breakfast could have been better. There is no kettle in the rooms. You have to walk 15 minutes for parking.

The logistic route is not handy. First to go with one elevator and then to change to another to get in your room...... We were unlucky that during our stay the watersupply was cleaned. Gaves us 2 days not water in the morning, came after some hours. One of the receptionist didn't speak English at all......you would say in these modern times a must.

Mineral barhs made with crystals given in your room. Terrible...no water fountains. Save your money

Being on the top floor, no skyline or side windows open up for fresh air. The pool terrace with beautiful views but cannot get there unless walking through the pool area itself through the changing rooms, no foot ware. the hotel building is squashed within other buildings, and windows/ balconies are overlooked from all sides, also making the lobby bar and the lobby terrace dark and gloomy.

The location of this hotel is great, close to everything but very private and quiet. The food can be improved. The cleaning of the room was poor this stay. was unhappy. Also the room was nice, besides the fact that as soon as you opened the windows it smelled like egg from the kitchen that was located right underneath our room. Also the staff was really nice and helped us with most problems. The breakfast was not that good. Egg with fish in the morning is not what I expect for a nice breakfast. Also the poolbar is not quite what we expected, since cocktails are served in cans and plastic cups without any ice. The rooms were good but the egg odor in the morning that came from the kitchen was kind of annoying. Also the people who worked in the breakfast area had a hard time to smile at the customers or let them feel welcome.

All her colleagues were helpful as well, being very nice and speaking fluently Russian and German as well. I was really impressed. The room was very comfortable, also child bed was big and comfortable. We did not have a balcony but there was a panoramic window with a beautiful view. The hotel is situated near supermarkets and shops and taxi from central Station was only 13 Euro. Swimming pool is on the roof, it is really cool idea. There is a person who checks water quality regularly. I can say that the property exceeded my expectations. I wish the hotel all the best, success and nice quests!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Every room in the hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly. The spa was nice, it could have had a more comfortable resting area though and at the bar some fresh fruity drinks. The beds are very hard. The breakfast is good, you get fresh eggs and pancakes.

• Christiane (8/5): Gutes und modernes Hotel . - Sauberes Hotel und nettes Personal. Essen ok. Anwendungen und Massagen wie halt in Kuranstalten. Einziges Manko sehr viel Russen die sich beim Essen nicht benehmen können. Teller übervoll und die Hälfte bleibt liegen. In den Hotelstatuten steht "außerhalb des Zimmers kein Handy" wird leider nicht beachtet und das Personal sagt nichts. Genauso in der Saune. Hier heißt es nackt Bereich. Aber viele Gäste sitzen im Badeanzug oder Badehose ohne Handtuch in der Sauna und im Wirlpool. Auch hier sagt das Personal nichts. Schade, ist ja auch unhygienisch. Da sollte mehr darauf geachtet werden.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Egy igazán kellemes hotel, egy gyönyörű városban - A hotel szép, modern, tiszta. A személyzet kedves, figyelmes. Az ételek változatosak, finomak. A szakácsok nagyszerűek. Egyetlen apró malőr volt, ami inkább megmosolyogtató, mint bosszantó: páromnak az 50. születésnapja volt (ez volt tőlem a születésnapi ajándéka). Nem jeleztem ezt külön a hotelnek, mégis felköszöntötték; míg a wellness-részen voltunk, az ágyára tettek egy doboz bonbont egy születésnapi üdvözlő kártyával - kellemes meglepetés volt. Csak itthon vettük észre, hogy a bonbon szavatossági ideje már egy éve lejárt.

• PATRICK (8/5): Hotel reposant et confortable - La station thermale de Karlovy Vary est très fréquentée par les Russes. Parler le russe est donc nécessaire pour y apprécier son séjour. Russophone, j'ai testé de dialoguer en anglais avec le staff mais le résultat fut vite décourageant. La chambre est sympa, le petit-déjeuner est bon, la piscine est assez grande avec un prêt gracieux de serviettes et la fourniture d'un peignoir pour tout le séjour.
• san (8/5): Zentrale zweite Reihe - Neubau in zweiter Reihe. Keine aussicht, aber gleich an der gartenkollonade. Shopping stree um die Ecke. Wellnessbereich sauber, nicht riesig aber absolut ausreichend. Viele russische Gäste, aber angenehm. Gute Küche mit hoher Qualität der Zutaten.

• Markus (8/5): Im Zentrum von Karlsbad - Das Hotel ist in der Ausstattung wirklich klasse. Das die Kosmetik nur von Montag bis Freitag geöffnet ist, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Die schlechten Deutschkenntnisse an der Rezeption und Massageabteilung muß verbessert werden. Die Terminvereinbarung von Massagen muß verbessert werden. Ich mußte öfters nachfragen mit Wartezeit um zwei Massagen buchen zu können. Die Masseurin war unhöflich und nicht unbedingt ansprechend (Mundgeruch bei einer Manager-Kopfmassage sind nicht angenehm). Der Pool und die Saunen sind richtig gut (Achtung: Die Fußbodenfliesen sind nicht rutschfest!!)

• Elizabeth (10/5): Nice Hotel Stay - I was pretty impressed with this hotel. The photographs shown are good representations of how the rooms look in person. They are very modern and include the basic amenities such as mini fridge, television, hair dryer, safe, ect. The room seemed very clean and well maintained. However, my only complaint on the room was the hardness of the mattress. It was extremely firm. I am young and normally do not complain about such things (I actually prefer a firmer mattress), but this was a bit too firm. I was pleased with the hotel’s spa. The prices were good and they offered a variety of services. My husband and I received a massage and we both greatly enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was nice. Although it was not directly in the center of the city, it is in very short walking distance. There are plenty of shops, spas, parks, and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff was also very friendly. Although there was some trouble with finding my reservation, they quickly resolved the problem and I had no trouble getting a room.
