• Olivieri (9/5): Highly recommend and we will be staying again when we visit the Greensboro area. - The atmosphere at the hotel was a refreshing change from standard hotels. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. We were impressed with the vibe at the bar and restaurant. We had cocktails and dinner one night and enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. Lobby and hotel room were furnished with pieces reflective of the era. Our bathroom had many unique features including a vanity table.

We had plenty of separate space for two people to get ready. The room was very comfortable. Staff members were very attentive. I cannot think of anything that would improve our experience.

There was no continental breakfast, unusual for a hotel this expensive. The front desk was unable to give me receipts for either the room or the uber ride to the airport. Staff in the bar/dining room were great.
• Cecilia (10/5): You’ll wish there was an O’Henry in every town - The O’Henry is my favorite hotel. The staff always greats you when you walk in the door, the restaurant is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and the soaking tub comes with a rubber duck. The rooms are unique in that the ceiling is painted to look like the sky and the bathroom/vanity area has a separate sink outside the shower area. I like the hotel so much that I have now stayed there five times when I have come into Greensboro. If there was an O’Henry in every town I would never stay anywhere else.
• Donna (6/5): - I stayed for 4 days. They provided a hot pot & 4 tea bags, but they never replenished the tea bags so I ran out. They do not provide any type of small continental breakfast. Seems kind of chintzy. The shower is a hand-held device which I found very inconvenient. Staff at the desk was unable to provide me with any type of receipt for the rooms or the uber ride. There's an outdoor smoking area close to the front entrance which was kind of offensive to nonsmokers.

The front desk gentleman was so kind and gave me a wonderful not musty room in a hotel that is not musty at all. The food, the staff where excellent.

We were luck to be there on a Thursday nite for their Jazz show in the lobby which transformed into more of a night club for the show. Service everywhere was outstanding. One of our best stays ever!!!

• Charles (10/5): Oasis in a desert - An oasis in a desert. Traditionally designed building, decorated in impeccable country English Relais et Chateaux style. The courage to play classical music in the public rooms rather than junk. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good restaurant: while not quiet elegance, the food is quite good. Only drawback: no EV chargers.

My wife and I enjoyed the exquisite decor of our suite and the overall magnificent areas of the Hotel's gardens, fountains, weddings ,dining during our stay. We also joined in a delicious Tea time with other guests.The staff in every area were polite and very helpful and the food : Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner was worth it all. We definitely plan to come again

We selected the afternoon tea, dining credit and the breakfast in bed options. There were several other great options that were part of this pack. We enjoyed our room, very spacious and accommodating for just the 2 of us. We also made time to visit the pool. The afternoon tea was excellent, the food from Green Valley Grill was fantastic as well. We have been here before and because of the high quality of the hotel, we chose to come back.

• brn2trvl2 (10/5): Great place to stay in Greensboro - This hotel is a classic. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. Check in is easy and the front desk helpful. the rooms are quiet and well appointed. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom had the choice of a shower or a tub. The shower was walk in. Would definitely return. There is a restaurant on the first floor and a small pool . We checked in late and without a reservation, but the staff found a table for us on a busy night.

While we were there, the staff smiled and said hello. It is nice to be acknowledged by people. A staff member offered to assist with getting my wheelchair out. The room very clean and nice. We enjoyed playing the music in the room. When we left, a staff member thanked us and held the door. This is a five star hotel! We will be back!

• Jet12289344849 (10/5): Great hotel! - Stayed here five nights for our daughter’s wedding that was held nearby. Rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch were at this hotel. Most wedding guests stayed here. Hotel is upscale, but warm and homey, which is not easy to accomplish. Staff is attentive and friendly. We interacted with a lot of the staff, and had a positive experience each time. We had a king bedroom that had a lot of furniture for sitting. Bed comfortable. Shower great. Sink in bathroom and a second sink in a dressing area just outside the bathroom. We ate breakfast and lunch once in the restaurant. Food and service excellent. Restaurant beautiful with high ceilings. Attractive bar area. Hotel did a great job with rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch. We would gladly stay here again. I don’t write many reviews, but wanted to because we were so impressed.
