- Danny (9/5): Heerlijk! - Zeer vriendelijk personeel, gezellig kleinschalig hotel, mooi ingerichte kamer met heerlijk bed! De fietsenstalling was erg vol maar wel veilig achter een hek.

- Giorgio (8/5): Piacevole soggiorno in hotel storico - L'hotel è storico e all'interno vi sono delle foto che ricordano la seconda guerra mondiale. La stanza è gradevole, ma manca completamente di un armadio. Ci sono solo alcune grucce per apporre gli abiti, il resto deve rimanere in valigia per terra. Manca anche un piccolo frigobar.

- Hans (10/5): Vriendelijk, welkom, fijne sfeer, prachtige kamer (ook voor onze hond). - We zijn onder de indruk van de flexibiliteit, de heldere en vriendelijke communicatie, het prachtige gebouw met lokatie en de heerlijke smaak- en sfeervolle kamer. Je voelt je echt welkom en iedereen is bereid om je verblijf optimaal te laten zijn. Wij komen zeker weer terug. Dit was voor ons de derde keer en het voelde weer als een warm en ontspannen bad. Het was perfect voor ons.

Clean, large room and large bathroom with all facilities including an espresso machine. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant and bar at the hotel available. The height of the shower faucet in the bathroom could not be regulated
- Newcomb (9/5): Can't beat this hotel for the historical significance. We would definitely stay there again. - Very spacious room, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. We chose this hotel primarily bc of its historical significance as it is where the Germans surrendered to the Canadians in May 1945. The capitulation room is now the bar/lounge and there are numerous pictures and newspaper clippings around marking its historical significance. There really wasn't anything we didn't like, although for light sleepers I would mention that it was somewhat noisy outside. We were there on a Friday night, so possibly more foot traffic than usual.

Chauffage difficile à régler, je suis arrivée dans une chambre froide/ non chauffée. Après avoir ouvert les vannes des radiateurs, la chambre était chaude, voir trop chaude la nuit. La salle de bain n'a pas de chauffage, elle reste froide. L'interrupteur pour allumer la chambre est difficile à trouver.

- Vaya_con_dios_AO (10/5): A gem of a hotel in the heart of Wageningen - Our stay was amazing, will definitely recommend to colleagues and stay here again upon returning to Wageningen. I was here for work and my wife joined me for leisure and travel, the hotel was wonderful. Accommodated any ask we had with a big smile on their face and put in extra efforts to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. My wife's birthday was yesterday and they restaurant even made a special event with a wonderful glass of champagne and special dessert.

Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten bequem und es war alles sauber! Wir hatten ein Abendessen und Frühstück, was alles sehr lecker und von guter Qualität war. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Doordat het een oud hotel is, is het erg gehorig. Ook de afzuigkap van het onderliggende restaurant gaf wat lawaai en geur. Ik vond de prijs van 183 euro , voor twee personen, exclusief ontbijt , erg veel.

Apesar de ser temática, a decoração dos quartos não é bonita, Tem pouca iluminação, o colchão é fino e as toalhas também. O pior é o barulho que se ouve dos outros quartos, pois tem pouco isolamento e dá para ouvir até os passos do quarto do andar superior.

- Malinda Quartel Coupe (8/5): Steeped in history - A building steeped in history. It is wonderful that it is still used as a hotel today, rather than just a monument. It feels like you are walking through history, rather than looking at it. It is a very "gezellig" hotel, the outside terrace is wonderful as it has the sun till the very last possible moment. Everything and everyone is very approachable, making it feel more like a home, rather than a sterile hotel. Loved the themed rooms, we stayed in the Pippi Longstocking room. Lots of fun little details! The food served outside was very very tasty, and looks incredible. The building is old, and therefore not as well noise-insulated as modern buildings. Our room was right outside the kitchen, so at the end of the shift it can be a little noisy with clean- up etc. But nothing that we couldn't handle. Our dog was a bit skittish though, because of some bangs etc. But having said that, it is wonderful to be able to have our dog with us, so no complaints here!

The bar staff exceeded expectations. Specially the Manageress! She is first class professional and friendly. Pricey The restaurant struggles to be original and comes up short. But it probable reflects an overall condition in the Netherlands.

- Julia (4/5): Disappointing - The room is very beautiful, creatively decorated and designed following the theme. The bed is comfortable and the location is excellent. The staff is friendly and available. The room and bathroom were unfortunately not clean. The floors were very dirty, the towels smelled bad and left white, fluffy residue when using them and the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. We complained to the staff and even after the second round of cleaning the problem persisted.
