The place was a bit dated but the only complaint I have is that the noise level of furniture being dragged across the upper floors when I stayed at ground level facing the pool was excruciating at times. Other than that it was wonderful.
Rawle (1/5): - Location was good. They mis represented the Hotel. It is advertised as a Hotel but it is an apartment building that was converted to Hotel rooms. The place is run down and needs serious renovations. The metal grills around the property were rusted and damaged. There were holes in the carpets on the floor throughout the building.

Jane (6/5): - Goede locatie, op 5 min lopen van Dover beach. In de nabije omgeving is er een supermarkt en een paar eettentjes. De studio is erg groot. Genoeg ruimte om je spullen op te bergen. Groot balkon. Vriendelijk personeel. Keuken, toilet en douche waren niet schoon. Veel kalkaanslag aan de kranen en draaiknoppen, wat m.i. schoon te maken is. In de badkamer was er bij aankomst haren aan de tegels geplakt. Er komt iedere dag een schoonmaker langs maar het toilet en douche worden niet schoongemaakt. Wel worden de handdoeken vervangen en gedweild. We hebben ook gezien hoe de tegels van het zwembad werd schoongemaakt. Dat zag er niet hygienisch uit. Jammer dat er niet veel met de buitenruimte wordt gedaan. Er is een leuk hoekje met hangmatten, een ander hoekje met banken, en 1 met een picknick tafel. Het is echter op de een of andere manier niet utnodigend om daar te zitten. Je kan op dinsdag meedoen met yoga maar dat is erg onduidelijk aangegeven. In de bars in de omgeving wordt er, tot mijn verbazing, veeal jaren 80 muziek gedraaid. Dat is ook bij een aantal bars in the Gap.

Gorgeous balcony with friendly bird visits so spent most of our time at home on that. Fab local coffee shop, recommend the rum punch. Great local Jamaican restaurant, recommend the curried goat. Loved this place so much. Stayed with my mum and we were both super happy with our lovely 2 bed Wendy House. Nothing not to like

The neighbors were very loud and would keep me up at night. Also felt like the hotel needs elevators as we had to carry heavy luggage down a large flight of stairs.

Ann (3/5): Definitely not worth the money. - My room 26 was awful .. no patio.. had to have curtains closed all the time as it was a thoroughfare. Dark with no windows it was like a storeroom. Staff were nice. No windows or patio … couldn’t open curtains as everyone could look in when walking by. Patio consisted of a tiny table and 2 chairs along the thoroughfare.

Jane (8/5): Friendly and good location - Such a friendly hotel in a convenient location to the beach and eating places. It is of original Barbados style, unmodernised with plenty of character. If you want swish, sleek and very modern this hotel might not be for you, but if you like character and quirkiness you'll feel at home here It would be nice to have washing up liquid provided in the kitchen

Very safe (security guard overnight).Very helpful and kind staff (shout out to Wendy) Toilet didn’t flush at the start of my trip. Needed to be repaired. Rooms are older and could use basic updating.

Westej (10/5): Better than expected - Very spacious room, large balcony, great location and very close to the beach. Local shopping store is just around the corner from the hotel. Swimming pool and restaurant on site. Restaurant was not open everyday of my stay. Just be aware that the hotel is three storeys and no lift, so if you struggle to carry your cases up three flights of stairs, then I recommend you confirm your concerns with the owners. The room has a fridge freezer, microwave and oven. So when you arrive you will need to do some shopping

Disappointed I wasn’t allowed to use a shower on my departure day, one staff member suggested there was a shower I could use, but was overridden by another who refused. After what was a lovely stay, just left a bad taste as I left.

Natalie (8/5): A PLACE TO CONSIDER - We are from Trinidad and Tobago. The receptionist Wendy is amazing. Very helpful. We encountered a minor inconvenience and she worked quickly to ensure it was corrected. We also liked that the place was quiet and not intrusive.. Although other guests were there, we felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Many food options near by and at the hotel. Irie Food Restaurant at the Hotel is awesome..food delicious and prices were reasonable. Although we didn't travel with our children... it's an option we would surely consider if we do return. The building is obviously not modern.but that was not a bother for us....

Mary And David (9/5): - The apartment was very spacious and had facilities to accommodate your needs. A cooker, microwave, kettle all your basic needs. The rooms were large, could accommodate up to four to five people.and there was plenty of space to hang your clothes, and the beds were comfortable. The staff are very friendly, professional and very helpful. We had a great time, and it felt like home from home. There's not much to dislike. It is in an area which is easy access to the various restaurants in the area. The swimming pool was a great bonus. We enjoyed it very much. Access to the breach was only five minutes walk. And there is easy access to the main town centre.

The rooms were clean and spacious! The kitchen had all we needed. This was located in a great place to walk and restaurants were close to the hotel. This was a family trip with 5 adults!
