Guest Reviews

- Anna (10/5): Amazing Staff - The staff are incredibly helpful, especially at security and the front desk. They went out of their way to help me and my husband and we are so grateful.
- Abdul Aziz (10/5): -
- Himesh (7/5): - Great breakfast. However, took VERY LONG to get the breakfast. I arranged for an early check in (13:00) telephonically, which the hotel said was fine. I got there at 13:15 and the room was'nt ready. I was then told 13:45. At 13:50, they told me that they still needed another 10 minutes. Ordinarily I would not have minded waiting a bit longer, but I had pre-arranged the check in as I had a 14:30 meeting to get to. I was late for the meeting as a result of my delay at the hotel check in process.
- Lucie (8/5): -
- Grenville White (6/5): Great stay, with a few improvements can be even better. - Great location, friendly staff, easy check-in and check out. Modern design and cool culture for a hotel, not a stiff and boring place. Rooms have inter-leading doors for bigger groups, however these are not sound proofed, so when your neighbours are having a party at 3am, as mine did, you get woken up. Reception whatsapp dealt with the issue only the next day, so night two was a lot better. Would be great to add sound insulation to those doors.
Unfortunately even through there are clear non-smoking signs everywhere, people still smoke in the rooms, so the rooms stink of smoke with a centralised ventilation system.
House keeping need to report maintenance, my bathroom light switch was broken, so the bathroom light stayed on all the time.

- Makaita (9/5): - Spacious comfortable room Thin walls, my neighbour asked me to turn down the TV but I was watching a show on my phone, it was not that loud but my neighhbour could hear it.
- Shaun (9/5): Well worth the stay, excellent facilities and amazing staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. - My go to stay in Cape Town, well priced, very comfortable and my home away from home.
- Kananelo (10/5): Best stay ever - Kanyisa & Sikho made my stay memorable

- Debbie (9/5): Very friendly and helpful staff - Really good quality and ample portions
- Clarissa (8/5): - Staff at the e restaurant not very friendly
- NAIWUMBWE (9/5): - The front desk staff were very good and helpful. Always happy The monotonous rigid breakfast menu without a variety and no flexibility to change as we had booked bed and breakfast.

- Abdul (10/5): -
- Lorraine (9/5): - I liked the lighting in the toilet; it was nice and dim and did not hurt my eyes when I woke up in the morning to use it.
I liked that they provided enough towels.
The staff was nice and friendly.
The room was clean and had a fresh scent.
I appreciated the biscuits and the cold water from the fridge in the room. It would have been nice if the plugs had a Type-C charging port.
The desk/counter was a bit unsteady, which made it slightly uncomfortable to use.

Booked at short notice at 9pm. The room provided all the necessities required for staying without a packed bag i.e shampoo, soap, tea/ coffee, a bar fridge ans a hairdryer. The USB plug connection was much needed. Bed was large and comfortable. Friendly, kind and efficient staff.
Extra bonuses was the smart TV, air-con and small look-out balcony.
The best part: The hotel restaurant and bakery. Large and lovely. Has a warm yet corporate feel. A great place to visit for business trips. Everything.

- Susan (8/5): The happiest hotel staffers I have ever met. Lovely stay all round. - The thing I liked the most was the staff: nothing was too much trouble and they treated each other with friendliness and respect and a smile. I have never seen anything like it in a hotel. Was fabulous. Particularly wonderful were the two people at the Front Desk when I checked in - Nonto and Kanyisa. My original room was next to a room with some youngsters in it who were playing music at top volume and smoking weed. Nonto and Kanyisa sorted me out - accompanied me to a different room and explained that there would be no noise as they knew the guest in the adjoining room and she was quiet and came home late. I slept like a log - lovely bed - until the oomphoomphoomph started. For Breakfast I had a fresh Pain aux Chocolat and an excellent Americano and was very happy The yoga and pilates studio which have premises adjacent to the hotel reception, started playing extremely loud thumping music at 7am. There was no way to gain access to ask them to turn the noise down, as they lock the doors (which must be a fire hazard). Not sure what kind of yoga they are teaching using that music - but it sounded more like high impact aerobics or something along that line. I wasn't the only person who thought that - people commented to me in the breakfast room - and a man on the same floor as me (1st) who I met in the elevator, said he had gotten up early because of the din.
- Karen (7/5): Hotel in good location - The hotel is in good location for my needs, and the staff helpful and friendly . The rooms are not all soundproof and the way breakfast is
served can improve. The quality of coffee and tea that is served with
the breakfast is sub standard and was not ready at 07:00 as indicated .
The service at the restaurant during breakfast was not good.

- Enhle (10/5): -
- Marius (7/5): - I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It has offered exactly what one would need from a business perspective.
That said, thank you for accommodating the late checkout — it was greatly appreciated. However, I must note that the breakfast service did not meet expectations. I found the staff to be rather unprofessional and, at times, dismissive. Additionally, on Friday, when I attempted to work on my computer in the restaurant area, I was informed that this was not permitted. Had this been communicated in advance, I would have completely understood, but the way it was handled left me feeling quite unsettled.

- Ian (8/5): Great spot for a two night business trip. - Great value for money - the place is a great spot. The plug in my basin in my room was stuck so the basin didn’t drain.

- Tshepo (10/5): -
- Tshepo (10/5): - The facility was close to all resources I needed. The is a mall behind the facility, walking distance, could access restaurants of my choice as well. The staff was very friendly. Nothing truly speaking.
- Bulelwa Msengi (9/5): -
- Osman (10/5): Exuberance - The area is close to many shops I wanted a top room, was on second floor but it was all good
- Friedl (8/5): Enjoyable stay with friendly and accommodating staff. - It met all our expectations Nothing
- CG (8/5): - The walls are quite thin and there was some noise but other than that it was very comfortable, the receptionist was exceptional showing me all the facilities. The location was perfect for access to UCT.
- Moeneeba (9/5): - Kanyisa is amazing. Great people and service skills.
- VARSHA (8/5): -
- Matthew L (7/5): - Good breakfast. Friendly chill / work space on ground floor. House keeping very haphazard
- Sonet & Eugene Barnard (9/5): Well worth it, and an easy stay in the heart of Newlands! - Safe and easy to find with secure vehicle parking and modern feel... not much
- Sisa (10/5): Now I have a place to call home in Capetown. - It’s important to read the reviews before booking. Well I did, they were all true, like the receptionist Pumla she’s so sweet man. Like I was stranded and very exhausted from traveling. But she was so sweet and patient to assist me through the process. Man even the security so kind. South African people are humble that’s what makes them special. Oh the rooms are so modern , very luxurious for my liking. It fits my aesthetic style perfectly. Absolutely nothing. It was perfectly fine for my stay.
- Kosellan (10/5): -
- Conradie (10/5): -
- Lotter (8/5): Perfect for 1 night stay - Close to where I was going. Room was quite. TV non exsistance, now on streaming. No green tea available. One bottle small shower gel for 2 people. Very expensive for room only. Staff were very friendly. Parking a premium in front. People going to a pub restaurant across the road park there as it's free. Hotel guests have to look elsewhere. Remembered staying there when it was a Radisson Blu hotel.
- Gibson (10/5): Easy access to race, good facilities. - Good amenities, and location.
- Gibson (10/5): We had a great stay, the location had easy access to the race and all that we needed. Thank you. - Great location and easy access to the race. Property has all necessary amenities needed for a short stay.
- Terry (8/5): - Well located
- Karl (8/5): Real nice and comfortable. Cose to a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. - Clean and had everything we needed and was central to where we wanted to be Aircon in the room was not great but not a deal breaker
- Marius (10/5): - Great staff, clean, just awesome Nothing really
- Inakepina (8/5): - The Location of the hotel is excellent
