timothyz549 (8/5): Excellent hotel experience - Nice hotel that has a fitness center with some weights, cardio equipment, and lots of room. The outstanding breakfast is really a highlight of the hotel - it's wonderful. Eggs, oatmeal, fruit, some veggies, and delicious yogurt (also lots of breads and muffins if you're into carbs). The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but there is enough space to store all your clothes comfortably for the week and there's a hotel safe for locking up things, a fridge for keeping beverages cold, and lots of plugs to charge laptops, phones, etc. The hotel is just outside a nice running/walking path that goes on for miles. It's very well located and parking is convenient and easy if you have a car. I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

And all we can say is the place is utterly beautiful and we’ve so enjoyed our 3 nights and the use of the gym with my husband looking gorgeous all pumped up …! We had an evening in the bar and met the wonderful Angelique who never stopped cleaning , tidying and keeping us topped up with beverages. I run two uk based companies and would be proud to have this young lady as part or the team so please please reward her for the services she provided on our visit . Nicko + Jason x

Escape40492843927 (8/5): It was great ! - Now, i haven't been in many hotels in my life to have an comparison idea, but, for the prices they offer, i believe it is one of the best deals I could get for the experiences I had there, the first time I was there it has imprinted in my mind as one of the best experiences I had, I read many other reviews and yes, it's not perfect, but the rooms were clean, well designed ( i myself would appreciate a door for the shower but it might as well simply be a personal preference ) and I met my expectations . The food, on the other hand is one of the things that will stick with me for a lifetime, as I said, i haven't had much experience in luxury places, but, i do have some sort of idea, and Mercour really set the standard for me, I have absolutely never tasted anything better in my life, and I can't wait to live that again, I am a man of respect for food, ( and a chef of my own ) and the food there was incredible, it was one of the only times I actually ate everything, ( and I mean everything, if it was a buffet, i would eat and try everything from every single different type of food, from all the breads, to all the candies, to all the coffee maker options, i still regret not trying even more . I loved the restaurant asthetic, especially the bar, it had the vibe I think of when I think of a restaurant 4 star hotel bar , ( was too underaged to actually try it, but they did seel a good immage ). I myself would go there any time I would get the chance again, and ofc, again it wasn't perfect, but i am of opinion that imperfections is what makes life livable, it what brings personality to things and to memories, I know some people are there just for buisness and stuff, but as a pretty cheap, luxury experience amongst friends, and for the sake of fun, it is a hotel that can promise at least this, and seeing the beauty in the bad will make anyone's life's soo much better.
Karl (6/5): Great staff, shame about 4am construction work - The reception and bar staff are great, lots of effort on their part, well appointed modern and clean hotel, one temporary draw back was the early morning tooting of horns and construction work from neighbouring development, so only a few hours sleep had, prior to an important appointment. Not the hotels fault, but a heads up to get an early night would have been good. Im sure the work will be completed soon enough.

Dennis (4/5): - Dame namens Sofie bei check out war nicht hilfsbereit und unhöflich bei erstellung der Rechnung. Rechnung wurde auf kleinere Summe ausgestellt wie von der expedia berechnet, da angeblich bei denen im System anderer Preis stand.
142michelr (8/5): 6 nights excellent stay - In the region twice a year and always at the Mercure Roeselare. The position is ideal for my business engagements. Room is confortable and including all possible services and there is an excellent restaurant. Parking places are available (woulrd be good if there would be some e-charger with different types of loadigs. I cannot charge my hybrid car). Close to the motorway. Very easy check in and out.

Özlem (10/5): - De kamers zijn heel schoon. Het ontbijt is heel lekker, maar er was naar mijn idee te weinig personeel. Ik heb langer dan 30 minuten moeten wachten aan de bar totdat er iemand kwam. Mijn koffie besteld en daarna kwam de medewerker ook niet meer terug. Wederom 30 minuten gewacht, uiteindelijk gelopen naar de receptie om te vragen of ik mijn koffie daar mocht afrekenen aangezien ik enorme haast had voor een zakelijke afspraak. Ik kreeg hier heel veel stress van helaas. Verder was alles top, fijne fitnessruimte en het hotel rook fris.
DE (4/5): - Restaurant fermé. Le restaurant etait l'un des critères pour lequel j'avais choisi l'etablissement. Tout comme le parking qui etait disponible mais payant et tres cher. Hotel vieillissant,tres peux de prises dans une chalbre enorle, deco délabré, tres froid dans les chambres. J'ai demandé de augmenter la temperature et on m'a amène, tres gentiment, un petit radiateur complètement inutile. Personnel gentil et souriant mais pas efficace

Sofie (10/5): Top hotel - Rustig gelegen, kamer heel proper. Vriendelijk personeel want hadden een kamer gevraagd met 2 aparte bedden en zonder probleem werd dit gewisseld. Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid, ondanks dat hotel volzet was, werd alles aan de lopende band bijgevuld.
Glenn (2/5): Absolute Rubbish !!! - We arrived Friday 1300hrs and were told the Restaurant and the bar was closed for the day due to staff party ....the hotel is in middle of an industrial estate miles from anywhere exceot the motorway. Nearest walkable shops etc are an hours walk. Saturday they made the bed refreshed the towels but not tea, coffee etc Sunday we came back to the hotel for dinner and some drinks at 1800hrs to be told the Restaurant and Bar were again shut :( on getting to our rooms neither had been serviced at all ......Disgusting state of affairs, we even get rooms serviced everyday in a Premier Inn in UK and its a fraction of the price Will Not stay here again and dont advise anyone to either.
TravelnurseUSA (10/5): Great choice! - We needed a hotel for the night prior to our flight and even though this hotel is over an hours drive to the airport, it suited our needs perfectly. We enjoyed the large parking lot out front where we quickly found a spot. Reception had our information and we were quickly in our room. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed our meals and also the fact that we did not need to leave for our meal. We also had breakfast and found the buffet offerings excellent. The waffle we had was delicious! The staff however made this one of our best hotel stays. From check in, dinner, breakfast, and check out, the staff were helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable! Thanks to everyone who made this a great stay!
pekao (6/5): Business suite with poor wifi - We stay here on regular basis since hotel opening and it was always in a suite, This time it was not available to book so we went for „business suite” thinking that apart from big conference table, everything will be the same. It has really akward layout - toilet is by the front door, then there is long walk to the bedroom where there is a bathroom - it is narrow and only with a shower, not bathtub - sorry I expect both in the suite, just like it is in the one we were staying before. There is a table with 8 chairs, seemingly for the business meetings but there are no sockets nearby at all, except by the kitchenette. Additionally wifi is very poor, My husband went on the important work call and has been disconnected. Phone signal is inconsistent - from E, to 3G to 4G at times. If hotel calls it business suite - it is misleading as it does not have basic business facilities. I would pass the comments by the checkout but receptionist did not ask me how my stay was. She just took the payment without saying much. Since we had this big table we thought we may just as well use it and order room service. You can only do it from 6 pm and 25 euros per burger is pricey but we went for it as there is nothing nearby. We end up bringing it to the suite ourselves. Food was of good quality. We also got 2 drinks for platinum member voucher. Mixed feelings this time.

Alexander (6/5): Gutes Hotel mit merkwürdigen Designsideen - Das Hotel selbst war in Ordnung, das Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Allerdings wurde unser gebuchtes Zimmer an eine andere Familie vergeben. Daraufhin bekamen wir ein Downgrade, allerdings auch zum angepassten geringeren Preis. Das Badezimmer ist aber eine komplette Fehlgestaltung. Die Dusche hat keine Abtrennung und keine Erhebung und steht im vorderen Bereich, sodass nach der Nutzung der Dusche das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser steht und die Toilette ohne nasse Füße nicht mehr erreichbar ist. Das Waschbecken steht aus unerklärlichen Gründen mitten im Hauptzimmer. Das Frühstück ist überteuert. Das Personal ist jedoch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
DrHappy0 (10/5): Intersection - Nice location at intersection of highways so you can drive many places easily. Quick drive to Ypres and you can also make a day trip to France without any problem. New and clean rooms are very comfortable.

pekao (8/5): Lovely suite, few service issues - We have booked a suite for 2 nights. It is much more dressed up room since we have used it few years ago - shortly after its opening, it has pictures, shelves and other decorative items making it look more homely in modern scando style. It is very spacious and clean and mini fridge had complimentary drinks. Windows open, we did not use aircon. I liked that it was switched off upon arrival. Temperature was comfortable, not too warm or cold. Bathroom is superb with softest bathrobes I have ever had! They even add Rituals toiletries. Parking is free in front of the hotel but not gated. As gold member I got little handwritten card with three chocolates in the room and 2 drink vouchers which I had to chase. We chose coffee which was very well presented and large glass of wine which was good quality. When I requested late checkout by just 1 hour, they wanted to charge me extra - I had to remind them it is part of my membership privilege… What prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that they have not prepared sofa bed for our teenager- although reservation was for 3 people and I reminded them in extra requests section. When you arrive on Fri at midnight last thing you want to do is to chase it. In the middle of first night, suddenly TV has switched on by itself which woke us all up! Not sure if it was some sort of stupid alarm setup or what but they should reset settings before new guests check in! Overall I would return for quality of suite accommodation.
Elisabeth (6/5): Not ready for business. - We waited an hour for the front desk person. To com to check us i., we called the 2424 number which was always busy and ended up by leaving because we waisted an hour and she never came. The water pressure of the shower drops randomly, the carpets are filthy and they didn’t have enough keys for two people. The breakfast was ok and the cook who helped us in vain frond the receptionist was a doll.

First class food offer. Check in team very friendly and professional as are the cleaning staff servicing the rooms. Easy free parking. Great bedrooms.

Frederic (8/5): Ideal for business - Well decorated lobby, welcoming and professional staff during check-in and check-out. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I had twin beds, the duvet cover was too small the cushions don't give enough support. My room on the front side of the building had some noise from the busy road(s) in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good (even during corona times) and brought to my room. Overall, a very positive experience.

Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel overall - Fantastic rooms just one issue experienced was the fact that the air conditioning was stuck on heating and the hotel could do nothing about it on my first nights stay. Temperature in the room was 28oC. Couldn't open the window because of traffic noise. Hotel was fully booked so they were unable to move me and quite stupidly they didn't have a single fan available in the whole hotel. They fixed the air conditioning the second night. Limited free parking but I was lucky. Restaurant was nice and food was impressive.
Graham (10/5): An Excellent Base - An excellent hotel that we use regularly as our base for the International Badminton Tournament held in Roeselare. ITs only a few minutes drive from the centre of the town with its excellent food and shops. Will be using it again next year. Could do with more sugar in the rooms for tea and coffee only two sachets

I've been to Belgium many times, but never stayed here before. The location was really convenient for travelling around the country!
