• Phillipa (8/5): Short stay to catch up on sleep after an overnight flight before getting on a live aboard. - Good range on the breakfast buffet, and we enjoyed dinner there. An interesting walk into the village between the hotel and the sea - the children were very welcoming.
• Julie (8/5): Agréable pour 2 nuits - Très facile d'accès, à quelques minutes en taxi du port ou de l'aéroport. Le personnel est adorable, bienveillant, souriant, vraiment super! merci beaucoup à eux! Les chambres d'hôtel sont confortables, assez spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque! Un peu plus de propreté dans les salles de bains où il y avait du calcaire serait super, et il faudrait une petite rénovation car les éléments de la salle de bain sont très vieillissants.. Il y avait parfois une odeur de tabac dans la chambre (une ventilation de l'étage ou autre) et dans les couloirs des étages de l'hôtel qui n'etait pas très agréable. Pour finir, quelques options sucrés sans gluten au petit déjeuner seraient supers et une partie fumeur/non fumeur sur la terrasse de la piscine serait super sinon ça sent la cigarette partout et ça ne donne pas envie d'y rester.

• Nathanael Nils (8/5): - Wir waren in unserer Zeit in Raja Ampat zweimal im Swiss-Belhotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Zimmer ist geräumig, die Betten bequem. Sorong ist keine Perle, die Lage vom Hotel kann deshalb kaum gut sein. Du brauchst für alles immer ein Grab; zu heiss und (zumindest für uns) zu unsicher um zu Fuss zu gehen. Im Hotel haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war super! Die Eierstation ein Highlight. Das Abendessen; naja. Unsere Erwartungen als Europäer an die Pizza war sehr niedrig, die Realität war noch schlimmer. Mit dem Thai-Basilikum werden wir sowieso nie warm; ist wie Koriander, entweder man hasst oder liebt ihn. Bei fast jedem Gericht hatte es Thai-Basilikum drin. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen! Die Pizza 😂

• blandine (8/5): Hôtel pratique et confortable - L’hôtel est proche du port nous sommes allés à pieds 10mn. Pratique pour un départ ou un retour pour les Raja Ampat. On nous a déconseillé de sortir dans la ville donc nous sommes restés à l’hôtel au bord de la piscine. Elle est petite mais à le privilège d’exister. L’hôtel est propre et confortable. Les odeurs de tabac dans les chambres la restauration est très longue et pas incroyable. Mais rien de proche.

• Mary Dwight (8/5): The hotel is convenient for snorkeling and diving trips to Raja Ampat. - Our first breakfast there was the best. We went out for dinner both nights. The hotel is on a busy street and traffic can be noisy as well as the calls to prayer. The hotel itself was quiet. The pool area is at the back of the hotel almost like an after thought and smoking is permitted in the outside seating area which is small and congested.

• Sabine Brigitte (8/5): Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm und wir würden wiederkommen. - Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück ist inbegriffen und das Essen im Hotelrestaurant sehr gut. Das freundliche und professionelle Personal haben den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet. Bei genauerer Betrachtung ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

• Maria (8/5): Comfortable layover hotel, close to the airport - Very comfortable layover hotel just before and after our diving expedition on a liveaboard, friendly and helpful staff, decent menu at the restaurant (avocado smoothie was great!). Close to the airport, decent gym and pool. Airport pick-up was promptly arranged and we could check in early, which we really appreciated after the previous two nights spent on flights. Gluten-free breakfast options would be welcome.

• Michael (8/5): Best layover place I can think of for a night going to or coming back from Raja Ampat…loved it! - It is conveniently located within easy distance of the ferry terminal for getting to Waisai from Sorong & back when visiting Raja Ampat. It is the perfect place to indulge a bit after being out in Raja Ampat. It is very comfortable & modern. Food is excellent. Staff very polite I helpful. Great rooms & air conditioning after no air con out in Raja Ampat area. Good WiFi & having the swimming pool to take a plunge in fresh water is awesome. I think probably the BEST layover hotel spot prior to going to Raja Ampat & on the way back. Easy distance to the Airport as well! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Having a Bintang Beer by the pool after the heat & humidity of Raja Ampat is very refreshing. Regrettably, the Bintang Beers are EXTORTIONATELY OVERPRICED! This is quite disappointing for hotel that seems to be great with everything else & TOTALLY UNNECESSARY!

Das Badezimmer war sehr klein und gar nicht ansprechbar, zu wenig Hacken, kein Handtuch und es war ständig nass am Boden. Dinge die ich für den Preis eigentlich schon erwarte. Das Essen war ok aber sehr teuer für das dass es nicht super schmeckte.

Zimmerwände sind dünn, d.h. hellhörig.

We were able to rest properly before our next trip. That helped :)

• Schneider (7/5): Double harge - The standard of accommodation. I accidentally booked twice for the same night at the hotel but when I realised my mistake a week before my stay I emailed them. However when I arrived at the hotel they had already charged me twice and refused to do anything about it.

• Christiane (9/5): Sehr komfortabler Aufenthalt und toller Service - Das Hotel bietet Komfort auf westlichem Niveau in einem Ort am Ende der Welt. Die Zeiten für Check-In und Check-Out sind sehr flexibel, entsprechen der Ankunft- und Abflugzeiten am Flughafen Sorong. Wir konnten bereits um 8 Uhr früh unser Zimmer beziehen und uns nach dem Nachtflug ausruhen. Frühstück startet bereits um 5:30 Uhr, so dass man auch vor einem frühen Flug noch frühstücken kann. Die Gegend ist sehr laut, besser man hat Ohrstöpsel dabei

• Wendy (8/5): Good stay before & after boat trips! 👍🏼 - Centrally located, pick up from the airport was a plus. Very clean & comfortable and we were able to check in early, use the gym and pool and lots of options for breakfast. The single use plastic water bottles need to go. Water refill stations would be better all the way around instead of all the single use plastic.
