- Ida (10/5): Mysigt hostel med hög standard som rekommenderas! - Fantastiskt! Fint belägen i en dal på promenadavstånd från älven. Lugnt ställe. Möjlighet till familjerafting (forsränning). Standard, storlek och skick på rummet överträffade våra förväntningar. Vi hade ett rum med eget badrum. I rummet fanns ett litet pentry med 2 spisplattor, kylskåp och diskho. Lakan, badlakan, städning och frukost ingick i priset. Gratis parkering precis utanför stugan. Ingen tv eller mikrovågsugn på rummet.

- Anette (10/5): - En pärla vid vatten mitt i naturen. Huvudbyggnaden är i typisk gammelnorsk stil. Vi bodde i ett nyrenoverat rum m dusch och toalett. Rekommenderas starkt!
- Andreas (10/5): Helt supert - Kjempe god service. God mat, fin avstand til mye aktiviteter. Rom var helt ok. Pluss at det var dyrevennlig. Det eneste som var negativt var vanntrykket og manglende mulighet til å styre temp i dusjen, men det gikk greit hvis du sto lenge nok.

- Nadia (10/5): Nice friendly place to stay! - It was a lovely place to stay with very friendly hosts near Otta and Rondane Park. Fantastic breakfast was included in our booking. I recommend this place. They also organize rafting.

- Trygve (8/5): Stille og rolig - Hostel skal være enkelt, men funksjonelt. Slik sett som forventet, men det blir litt trekk for herpet dusjforheng og dorullholder.
- Øyvind (4/5): Dårlig opplevelse i flott landskap - Mye støy fra hytter eller camping. Brannalarmanlegg fungerte ikke, det ulte i en brannalarm store deler av natten. Ingen informasjon underveis. Det ble heller ikke tatt ansvar for å få den høylytte festen avsluttet. Dette var veldig dårlig av de ansatte/verter.
- Anton (6/5): Enkel overnattingsplass i landlige omgivelser - Enkel plass, ikke alt var ok da vi kom. Men når vi sa i fra ble en vesentlig feil med rommet ordnet umiddelbart = god service. Fin eiendom.
- Nicholas (8/5): Good base for exploration - Accommodation is perfectly suited to use as a base for exploring the area. Close to a couple of rafting companies and not too far a drive from town.
- Tim (8/5): An idyllic hostel in the hills - The hostel is in a beautiful area with plenty of opportunity for outside activities such as walking and there is water rafting available on site. The facilities are ideal for a quiet break with the opportunity to either use the self catering facilities or the limited hotel menu and bar. There is a good breakfast provided and I would definitely return when I am next in the area.

- sarah (8/5): Sjoa Hostel review - Hostel was clean but very basic. The kitchen facilities were nice, and also had a living room. The breakfast was a typical breakfast of Norway- and the couple running it were nice. Laundry was available free of cost, but FYI there is a washer and no dryer, as they use a dryer room instead. Not much in the direct area, rafting availability and good hikes within an hour. Gas station nearby had food/mini grocery, otherwise everything is in Otta.
- Hope (8/5): - Sjoa Hostell is a no frills hostel. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the location itself is off the main road in a beautiful setting. The main lodge was built in 1889 and kept very rustic. The Sjoa area caters to rafters. You will get lots of quiet, a pleasant breakfast and no TV. For us, it was perfect!

- Mary Ellen (6/5): Found Hotel closed! - When we went to check in we were told the hotel was closed. We showed our documents and the man said it was his mistake and gave us a room. We were the only ones there. No restaurant or laundry facilities as noted on reservation. We went on Hotels.com and would have been able to books room for that night as well as the next!
- Nicolai (10/5): Et dejligt ophold med plads til ro eller action - Vi fik alle de informationer vi havde brug for da vi ankom. Der duftede rent på gangene og værelset. Fælleskøkkenet var pænt og velholdt og ikke total nedslidt som man ser på mange andre hotels. Morgenmaden var yderst tilfredsstillende. Det eneste kritik jeg har af dette sted er at sengene var lidt for hårde men ikke noget man ikke kan sove på.

- Tove (6/5): Koselig hostel og atmosfære - Dette var et hostel / vandrerhjem . Vi reiste tilbake hit fordi vi bodde her i 1980 også da vi trff hverandre for første gang . Nå etter 36 år (august) overnattet vi her igjen , men i et nyerer bygg. Veldig koseligå komme tilbake .
