• Stn.Olsn (10/5): 10 stjerne🤩 - Alt og alle på Whale, det er et super flot og virkeligt rart sted, mad, restauranten, og "rooftop bar'en" At sidde heroppe og få sin aftensmad serveret lige ved swimmingpoolen. Nyde lyset og udsigten fra byen omkring, samtidig med at der næsten er fred og ro. Intet.

• KawaBongaaa (7/5): It was relaxing after long days out and about. - We enjoyed the privacy deck with the tub and the pool facilities. It was quiet and away from the busier Hua Hin area but just close enough to check out the temples, shopping and beaches. Some of the staff were fantastic and some were not so fantastic. The facilities were okay for the price; we did not afford the overpriced spa services.

• LEON (8/5): - Petit déjeuner excellent, rooftop avec piscine spa sur la baie de thailande d'un côté et de l'autre sur les montagnes. Il y a un service de navette pour nous déposé dans le centre ville qui est un peu éloigné de l'hotel. L'hôtel mène sur une route très fréquentée. Nous n'avons pas entendu de bruit la nuit mais lorsque vous êtes au petit déjeuné ou à la piscine sur le rooftop, ça peut être gênant à certain horaires.

Waarschijnlijk mismanagement, maar het personeel was niet erg vriendelijk of behulpzaam. Niemand van het personeel leek er zin in te hebben. Daarnaast is de locatie niet erg bruisend.
• Celine (10/5): The whale plushie 😍 - The room was big and comfortable and a whale plush toy welcomed us 😍 The facilities like the swimming pool were great and the restaurant downstairs offered some vegan dishes. The staff was friendly and even though the hotel is a bit far from the train station and the beach, you can book a free shuttle bus. It makes it better than staying in the centre as it's a quiet area, and we were more comfortable there.

• MICHELLE (10/5): Luxurious - Luxury place. Beds and pillows were wonderful. The shower is wonderful. Everything was very clean. The balcony is clean, with comfy seating. The balcony is maintained with room cleaning. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast was not included with our room, but we paid for the buffet breakfast 3 times. My man was thrilled with waffles and real maple syrup. I enjoyed the Thai dishes and everything! We usually use the shuttle 2x times each day. The drivers were punctual every time. The shuttles are easy to arrange. The pool is super. We had a special date night up on the roof with beer and pizza and watched the sunset. Sunrise over the sea is a good view also!!! The location is not great. The shuttles help.

• clive (9/5): Really great hotel, with a nice welcoming feel and good attention to detail. - Great little boutique style hotel. Really nice design touches and a great rooftop pool and restaurant area. Room was particularly well laid-out and designed. Friendly and professional staff and a pretty good restaurant. You are a little way out of Hua Hin (but that could be a positive). There is quite a busy road out front and you do get helicopters from the local airport - which are a novelty at first - but then quite annoying.

Het beddengoed was een beetje sleets maar wel schoon. Op het dak is een heerlijk zwembad met een gezellige bar. Prijs kwaliteit is zeer goed.

Wir haben den Pool und die Billiardplatte auf dem Dach sehr genossen, ebenso wie die gute Küche und das SPA. Das kostenfreie! Shuttle in die Stadt ist eine prima Idee und zeigt die ausgeprägte Serviceorientierung des Hotels, vielen Dank für den sehr engenehmen Aufenthalt, Daumen hoch und alles Gute!

• Graham (10/5): We would return. - Great Shuttle service into Beach area and Village Market. The hotel is a few km out of town and taxis would not have been frequent passers by. Fab breakfast with different local soups and foods each day and also western selections. We used a limo from Bangkok AP and landed at rush hour. Took 4+ hrs to get to The Whale, only 3 hrs to return. Don't try this trip on a Sunday if you have a flight to catch, you will need 5 hrs at least we were told.
• Klaus (5/5): Einmal reicht - Das nötigste war da. Das Essen war unterirdisch. Ich ging an dem zweiten Tag nicht einmal zum Frühstück. Die Räumlichkeiten sind alle so abgewohnt. Zerrissene Vorhänge, Mauerwerk was im Bad bröselt und überall sind Abnutzungen zu sehen.

Never had to leave early from a hotel but there was a constant banging every 30 seconds and the hotel did basically nothing to figure out what it was. It was during the whole night and day. 24/7. They actually use noise sounds like this as a form of Torture in SAS training. After one night, I needed to leave. At breakfast, one of the staff had a terrible cough. At a buffet, it was so gross. If you’re sick, just go home. Staff did little to help me. After I left, I made a formal complaint. No response to that so I’m just leaving this review instead. I’ve never left a bad review in my life. I try to be positive but you need to be warned

• Kent Håkon (5/5): Bra hotel til en hyggelig pris. - Jacuzzi på rommet var bra men veldig skittent ved første gangs bruk. Stort rom. Spa & Massasje var bra og profesjonelle folk. Testet ikke frokost, men maten der var bra (rate 6.8). Bra svømmebasseng med infinity utsikt mot Sentrum og havet i Hua Hin. Sluker i dusj var tette, så vannet rant ut på gulvet. Jacuzzi dyser var meget skittent! Viktig at de kjører en rens på det 1-2 ganger i mnd og renser sluker. Kvinnelig bartender i 7 etg. virket sur og smilte lite. Hun virket veldig stresset. Trenings rommet trenger en oppgradering. Mye slitt og dårlig utstyr. Dårlig utsikt i 2-5 etg. Man bør komme i etg. over bygninger og ikke ha ut mot veien.

Plenty of things to do on the rooftop, pool is gorgeous. Bar is well stocked. Breakfast was yummy. Rooms have ample space. Air conditioning works well. Plenty of car spaces. Nothing to complain about.
