• Valerij (9/5): - We stayed here for 3.5 weeks with our almost 3-year-old daughter and overall had a very good experience. We were lucky to get room C1 with a sea view, which we highly recommend. The place is very peaceful and the beach is beautiful. The best swimming spot is actually just to the left of the resort where there are steps into the water and it becomes deep immediately. When the tide is high, the water is incredibly clear and the beach feels like paradise. There are also many nice restaurants nearby and a small café close to the resort. Compared to White Sand Beach, which is overcrowded with tourists, this location felt much calmer and much more enjoyable for us. The resort itself is very old and quite worn down, but that is something you can easily accept because the location right by the sea is beautiful. Breakfast was very basic (around 2/5), and after breakfast the restaurant was closed for the entire rest of the day, so there was no option for lunch, dinner, or even a bar service. Fortunately there are many good restaurants and small places to eat nearby, so this was not a big problem. The biggest challenge for us was the huge number of mosquitoes in the room. Because of the wall colors and interior they were almost impossible to see and kill, and many nights we woke up with 10–15 new bites. A mosquito net above the bed would completely change the experience and make the stay much more comfortable. Also, the windows in room C1 could not be opened. One night the ceiling fan fell down during the night, but luckily nobody was hurt and the staff quickly replaced it with a standing fan, so it became more of a funny travel story than a real problem.

Видимо поменялись владельцы и только начали приводить в порядок это место. Думаю, в будущем, будет очень красиво. Облагородят территорию. Обезьяны. Не оставляйте фрукты или другие продукты вне номера. Только если один фрукт украли - всё. Их там нашествие. Улучшить завтраки. Они скучные. Нет своего ресторана,чтобы сходить пообедать или поужинать, приходится ходить в соседний. Вычищайте от старого хлама территорию и садите больше зелени. Будет красиво. В целом молодцы! ❤️

• Wolfgang (9/5): - Das Chokdee Resort hat uns mit einer sehr schönen und großzügigen Familienvilla in traumhafter Lage überzeugt. Das Resort liegt am Ende des Strandes und ist dadurch besonders ruhig – perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Strand ist nur etwa 50 Meter entfernt und die Bucht wirklich idyllisch. Das Frühstück ist solide, mit einer guten Mischung aus thailändischen und westlichen Optionen. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns jederzeit willkommen gefühlt.

• Menno (2/5): Though it may be cheap, not worth the money if staying in fan bungalows. - Can't think of anything I did really like, apart from the fact that the girl at the reception was friendly and professional. The bungalows with fan are on a hill, it's 60 steps to the top, so a good exercise. The bungalow itself is very old, with various holes in the floor, you can hurt yourself if the floor breaks. No hot water. Bed / matrass uncomfortable. Holes in the mosquito nets covering the window, and one window kept opening, so mosquito net is pointless. Photos are misleading.

These sheds are barley fit to rent out and are not pictured ! The bathroom was filthy dirty... The pictures are misleading as they do not feature the cheapest rooms.

Insgesamt zufriedenstellend, für einen Koh Chang Aufenthalt ohne große Luxusansprüche ausreichend. Lage direkt am Meer mit schönem Sonnenuntergang! Roller konnte direkt vor dem Zimmer geparkt werden. Reinigung und Sauberkeit eher auf unterem Niveau, für Thailand aber noch ok. Room-Service nur auf Anfrage und unter Abgabe des Zimmerschlüssels. Ab dem 3. Tag keine frischen Handtücher mehr. Kein funktionierendes WLAN im Zimmer. Preis-Leistung insgesamt aber in Ordnung.

Man ist direkt am Meer muss aber ein Stück gehen weil an der Stelle viele Steine sind. Allgemein würde ich es als überdurchschnittlich gut bewerten.

• Lareen (8/5): Cheap waterfront resort - The location of this resort makes up for the no nonsense rooms. It has a fantastic view and is right on the water. A sandy beach is very close by. There are different types of rooms and bungalows and they are remolding and building new ones. Mine was $30 a night for the ones in the blue building. Don't expect much in your room. It's clean. The toilet is flushed by bucket. The A/C worked great. The bed is firm. The restaurant is on the water. The food is good, but the service is horrible. Which possibly the reason why no one eats or have drinks there.

• Mikolaj (2/5): Awful fan bungalow, rats extra! - First of all I want to say that were staying in cheaper fan bungalow. Aircon seems to be a way different story. The only good thing is a breakfast in the morning and people who work in the restautant. The bungalow on the other hand is terrible. The location of fan bungalows is on the very high hill. For us it was't a problem because we are both young but I think it might be trouble for older people to climb over there every time. Those bungalows seems to be very old. When we came there inside there was a lot of holes in the wood. I put toilet paper everywhere to avoid mosquitos etc. Then on the floor we found huge hole covered with tiny blanket so "we would never see that". I put the paper there as well and forget about it. Next day when we came back we saw that this blanket is moved and paper is gone. We saw that a lot of my girlfriends cosmetics is gone as well. Then behind the bed we found a fork which we used the day before (was in bin in bathroom), girlfriends eyeliners etc, grapes from the shelf (quite high). Everywhere around that a lot of poo. We know how mouse poo looks like. It was muuuch bigger. Possibly rats. We asked for other room. Cheap doesnt mean that we have to sleep with rats... We got that but it took as like a 30 minutes and running like 5 times to that high hill up. Bathroom was quite dirty and you had to put water from bucket. Not huge problem though as its popular in Thailand in local houses. I really dont recommend
