• Manuela71 (10/5): Location perfetta fra centro e Arena! - L'albergo è situato in una zona non centralissima di Amsterdam, ma la fermata della metro a due passi rende possibile raggiungere il centro in breve tempo (e anche l'Arena). La stanza in cui ho alloggiato era piccola, come da descrizione, ma adatta per chi ha poche pretese. Si è rivelato comodissimo avere il bagno e la doccia ad uso di poche camere e vicino alla stanza. Meravigliose le aree in comune. I bar, l'area relax e studio, la zona colazione... tutto con uno stile moderno un po' underground veramente bello. Il bar dell'ingresso, la mattina, si dotava di brioches & Co un po' tardi rispetto alle mie esigenze.

• Camila (6/5): Cool, modern vibes; small, cramped room; far from city center - I liked all the amenities offered by Volkhotel, as well as the community feel with the young travelers. The tiny space of the room was unexpected. There was absolutely not enough space for two people with luggage. It was also further than expected from Amsterdam’s main attractions.

But if you wanted to walk, it's about 20 minutes into the main city. There was a grocery store nearby, but there's no little refrigerator to put a few of your grocery items in.

• zain (1/5): disappointing - balcony shuts at 11. why did i pay extra for a balcony i cannot use? the shower is visible from the kitchen and has no curtains, i had to wait outside while my friend showered. a balcony is primarily bought by smokers so why not make it abundantly clear that it cannot be used after a certain time, if i knew i couldve changed hotels.

• Jana (8/5): Great hotel! But avoid the breakfast - Das Hotel selbst ist originell und spannend, auch die Sauna und die Hot Tubs sind toll. Wir haben ein Upgrade gebucht bei Ankunft und waren im Zimmer Soixante Neuf - das hat sich sehr gelohnt. Das Zimmer hat eine Badewanne mit Aussicht über Amsterdam und einen Beamer. Das Frühstück war leider enttäuschend. Für den Preis deutlich zu wenig Qualität: Speisen wirkten lieblos, teils unappetitlich und nicht frisch. Die Aussicht allein macht das leider nicht wett. Es gibt in der Nähe einige sehr nette Frühstücksrestaurants, die deutlich mehr Angebot haben und eine bessere Qualität.

• István (5/5): - Room, view and the meeting area on the ground floor was good. On Saturday night it was very noisy, I could hardly sleep. Luckily I had earplugs, but I should have been warned that the music will be so laud that it is almost impossible to sleep. I missed the breakfast. I expected that it is included in the price.

Parfait pour notre chien. La chambre pour 4 adultes avec baignoire était très spacieuse et agréable. Si je dois trouver quelque chose, ce serait le manque d’une table ou d’un bureau dans la chambre.

I had originally booked the room with a shared bathroom, and managed to get a free upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. The room had everything I needed and was very nice. It is a bit far from some bus stations and the train station. However, it is pretty close to 2 metro stations, which can make up for it depending on where you are travelling from.

Room was interesting so kids were happy with it too. They didn't have a kettle in the room/cups we had to get them from the bar or restaurant everytime we needed hot water...but the staff were helpful so it was pretty easy

Das Ambiente hat Gelassenheit und eine außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit im Raum, egal wo im Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben und erfreut gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen.
