Guest Reviews
- Thomas (2/5): -
- Noblitt (10/5): Was a good value.will stay again - Was clean and well kept. Nothing
- Guest (8/5): -
- Kenneth (9/5): Basic, but it checked all of the boxes and was a great value. - I had to get back on the road fairly early ( for me). The owner offered fresh bagels to get me started, though I'm not a breakfast person. It was very nice to offer when I failed to ask, I will plan on grabbing a "go Bagel" if I have need to stay here in the future. The entire staff Owner, I believe his wife, and the on-site assistant, (who fixed my TV) were so very pleasant and helpful from the first time I walked in, until I left the next morning. Though I was able to connect to the WiFi, No internet connection was available. I needed to hot spot my Ipad through my Phone to do the online work I needed to accomplish before my upcoming job responsibility. I also needed to figure out that I needed to turn off the Energy Saver setting on the AC to get it to run long enough to affect the temperature of the room.
- Lori (7/5): Perfect location. Great $!! - Convenient. Excellent price It was just an older hotel but very clean
- James (5/5): - The shower did not work properly. And the bathroom sink barely drained.
- Ulrich (4/5): - Alles etwas heruntergekommen. Zum Frühstück eine Packung Kekse.
- Rebeca (9/5): -
- momof2many (6/5): - The staff was friendly and the rooms were cheap The tv was hard to work, bathroom door wouldn't stay shut, beds were not comfy and yiu get what you pay for.I wasn't dirty just old
- Diane (8/5): Comfortable room. Nothing fancy, but reasonable price and helpful staff. - We didn't try the breakfast. Price for room was good. Beds were comfortable. Room was a nice size. We had one issue, and staff responded very quickly and was very helpful. Motel was easy to find. Place is simple, but nice. Old style key entrance. Our doorknob malfunctioned so the owner switched our room. It went smoothly. He was very helpful. Hard to understand his accent, but eventually we communicated ok.
- James (8/5): -
- Wendy (5/5): It was ok. - It was close to the highway. The price was fairly cheap. You get what you pay for. The place was kind of run down. Weird smell in the room. Hard bed.
- Dave (9/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): Surprised me. Very clean for a cheaper priced motel. - It was a light breakfast, bagel, toast, coffee. We went across the street to McDonalds. Bigger breakfast
- Temchulla (6/5): - The man that checked us in was very nice and helpful! I loved the adjourning rooms! The curtains were pretty gross....not sure what was on them
All in all the stay was very nice! There wasn't a lot of hotels available with the Bedford Festival going on so for the price it was a great stay!
- James (5/5): - Price Very dated
- Tanya (5/5): -
- Richard (10/5): -
- Viands (10/5): - It was close to the dirt track and very affordable Nothing
- Tom (8/5): -
- Molly (8/5): Will go there again. Good value. - Nice staff. Easy access. Pillows not comfy.
- Gail Ross Brown (2/5): Great location but that's it - Location and bed Only 2 electrical outlets worked, the refrigerator never got cold, the door was not very secure
- Richard (5/5): I only needed it for a short night. The deadbolt didnt work and the inside of the shower curtain had a few weird stains. - Easy to get in and out of.
- Luis (6/5): - Appropriately priced. Friendly welcoming staff.
- Arne (6/5): - Beds were comfortable.
Coffee was horrible.
Snack cakes were stale.
But the price was reasonable and a place to lay your head for the night.
- Bilal (10/5): -
- Ashley (1/5): -
- Ashley (4/5): Quick - Quick check in The room was filthy and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a long time. I found a sock on the floor upon first entry to room
- Cramer (8/5): The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. - The breakfast was a Continental breakfast, which was good enough for us.
- Dorothy (10/5): - Place was an older hotel but kept very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
- Pavankumar (4/5): Not worth it due to breakfast options. - The room was okay from cleanliness and comfort level, no complaints. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was okay. Room was bit smelly due to being closed for few days but the smell faded away after few mins. Breakfast was not good. Only coffee and muffins were available. No bread slice for bread butter, bread jam and no fruits were provided. This does not justify the value of room for hotel with breakfast.
- Beth (9/5): -
- Di (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (4/5): - The friendliness of staff and their little dog was the best part of this place, bed and pillows uncomfortable, there was a burned cigarette hole on the bed cover the ac kept turning off even when it wasn't in auto mode.Had to turn temp really low but woke twice because I was sweating. The exterior needs alot of work, railing on 2nd floor was loose and someone could get hurt if they leaned on it.Location is great for eating alot of place in walking distance and is close to the turnpike.
- Cheryl (10/5): - The girl in the office was very friendly and easy to check in
- Leigh (9/5): Superb - It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was attentive to our needs. The breakfast was not very substantial. The wifi was a little spotty.
- Sharon (4/5): - Check in did not go smoothly. Clerk was questioning reservation. No hairdryer in room. Very noisy.
- Barbara (2/5): - Very outdated, no outlets for electronics, no fan or window for shower ventilation. The traffic outside was extremely loud with big semi’s going constantly up and down the highway making terrific noise constantly. It sounded like war planes going by. Because there were no outlets for electronics. We had to use the regular plugs in the bathroom, but the outlets don’t work when the lights go off. The hairdryer wasn’t in the room, and the manager wanted me to come to the office to pick it up even though I had just come out of the shower and my hair was wet. He was unhappy to have to bring it to the room.
- Beth (7/5): Good - The outside is definitely not what you expect the room was very clean Cleaning
- Willoam (8/5): Good place to crash on a long trip - Clean room, good bed, hot water, all you need
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Laurie (1/5): Bad - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
- Stephanie (8/5): Nice stay - The he hotel was nice, the rooms were nice. Everything was clean. The owner was friendly. Especially since we didn’t arrive till 3 in the morning.
- Gwen (2/5): - I checked out and made a new booking for today. Which was supposed to be $20 cheaper than my stay yesterday. But the owner or manager or whatever he is still charged me twenty bucks more, even though I made a new booking at a cheaper rate.
- Gwen (6/5): - I could easily walk to local restaurants and gas stations. However, I could not drive in the driveway because of snow conditions. But the room was very clean, and the owner was very kind.
- Jehessen (1/5): Bad -
- Fred (5/5): Get what you pay for in this case. - Cheapest in area Cheapest in area
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Joseph (10/5): Nice stay - Room was very comfortable and spacious. The chair was a great addition. Helped me sleep!!
- Janice (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (1/5): Don't stay here unless you want harassed. - The triple bed room we got the first night was nice, I went to office the next morning to extend our stay and wanted to keep the same room. The owner was rude and was worried about seeing the room since I had our service dog with us. She doesn't damage anything, she just sleeps most of the time, so walked to room with him and then went back to office and he tells me the room is already booked and offered me a 2 bed room, for $20 less than I paid for the triple beds. I asked him to honor the booking.com price and he refused.
So the room with 2 beds was run down, ants in bathroom, bathroom doorway needs work, bathroom window has a patch job, AC/heater buttons broken, dead bugs in window. He kept calling our room for random stuff and then walking to our room being nosey. Yelled at me because we moved a chair. My daughter wanted to sit by the window. We put everything back before we left the room, so what was the problem. Seriously just wasn't a very pleasant person to deal with.
Oh and there was only 1 other car in parking lot all night, he lied to us. The room wasn't reserved. We have 3 kids and 2 adults and wanted the extra bed so we could all get comfy but apparently he thought we would damage his precious room.. never damaged a room anywhere we've stayed. But won't be back to this place for sure.
Also no heat in bathrooms, old outdated bedding, dingy towels, 1 washcloth was dirty on the towel holder . All of it was a bad experience.
- Sandy (8/5): Very good - Location Even tho I had do not disturb, my room was entered after 1 nite.
- William (7/5): Good -
- Jane (8/5): We used this motel at least 3 times during Fall Festivals. - Reasonable rates. Decent beds. Tub for soaking and drain plug worked. Dated decor, but we just needed to sleep and didn’t care.
Hallway light was on all night.
- Duimstra (4/5): Disappointing - Quire poor. Cold coffee. Only bread and bagels with butter and cream cheese. Also cold cereal.
- Patricia (8/5): - It looks like the owners are trying to update the property. It was clean and staff was friendly. I would stay here again.
- Richard (2/5): - Room was right by the highway, ice machine is broke, door was difficult to unlock and the deadbolt doesn’t work. Very outdated and musty smelling. Felt very uncomfortable here
- Elizabeth (6/5): - When we checked in, the clerk was insistent that we were charged the wrong price. I didn’t argue because it was only $5 but he was a bit rude. He was nice because I picked a smoking room by accident when booking and was able to give me a non-smoking. You get what you pay for and this was a quick 1-nighter. Pillows are horrible so don’t expect a great night sleep.
- Paula (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bev (1/5): I told him I would give a bad review and he said go ahead so here it is - He was so mean and unkind and uncaring about a very bad situation. He was ridiculous! Wow, waiting on me. He pushed me aside and waited on the next man without finishing my conversation. Mac is not a good Mac or a big Mac. He is a MEAN Mac. Actually, I didn’t get to see it other than lobby and it was very nice in the lobby and I’m sure the rooms are very nice but Mack would not let me enter into the room when I did a booking and I was reserved and he was being mean
- Evelyn (10/5): Comfortable - Very clean, comfortable and accommodating hosts.
- Marla (8/5): Very good - Clean, comfortable, well maintained! Neat all expected amenities were already in place. Staff pleasant and friendly. Nothing negative to say. 🙂
- Dave (8/5): - The property is old but well taken care of and clean. If you use Expedia, it confuses them but plan on paying at the motel because they insist that Expedia doesn’t charge, they only secure funds (in our case both) we got it straightened out and all & all was worth the trouble.1/2 price, clean, quiet room was worth it 💤
- Bernice (10/5): - 'Desk' gut was very curious. Our reservation thru Expedia didn't show up at this location but we were given the same discount as the Expedia site. Nice little hotel. A little dated but the room was clean and everything works.
- Timothy (8/5): - The property managers were extremely kind and helpful
- Elizabeth (6/5): Pleasant - Close proximity to Turnpike and very clean I wish the pool was operational and that a continental breakfast was available as advertised.
- Doriann (4/5): Uncomfortable - Nice staff Old outdated clean but too outdated, old gross carpet thin old sheets
- Thomas (10/5): - A little outdated but was clean an comfy for the price
- Imtiyaz (8/5): Very good -
- Showers (8/5): Very good -
- Ir (8/5): Very good -
- Misty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joan (7/5): Mediocre - It was close to the highway The refrigerator did not work. A/C loud
- Lionel (8/5): Very good - Location was very convenient, but very commercial. Right next to the highway. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in the shower was nice. Everything seemed kept up and clean.
- Claar (3/5): My room was clean - The inn doesn't even have a dining area and the office was locked in the morning Just little cakes of soap, and the one bath towel had hair on it
- Duane (8/5): - This facility meets all of the areas of subsistence. No glamour but good value for the money!
- randall (6/5): - Value for money--everything slse was significantly more expensive.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Older hotel expected nothing fancy but did not expect to spend the first few hours evicting ladybugs from our room. Eventually we got them all out by using cups from the room but there were at least 40. The check in people were very nice though
- Gerrit (6/5): Nice staff, comfortable bed, good location— would stay again - Had to ask for it although it was listed on the website,
but innkeeper was very cordial. Routine maintenance appears to be missing, list given to
the office and was received well
- Daniel (8/5): Does the job for a quick sleep and go - Works perfect for a late night stop for sleep before back on the road first thing in the morning. No frills, not much updates or inspiration. Does the job, though and hassle free. Reception let me check in late (12:30am) and had no issues. I was gone by 6:30am. Would stay again if I needed to.
- reve2024 (2/5): no way - OH WOWOW do NOT stay here.
dirty and... sheets were dirty but when i heard prostitiutes I was pissed off. I just left to never return to this dump!!!!!!! they let anyone stay here who doesn't have anywhere else to go
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Hari (1/5): Worst experience ever staying in a hotel. - 2 rooms were booked almost 12 hr in advance for 8 people (4 kids and 4 adults). When I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 pm, the manager didn’t let us stay saying the booking was only for 4 people. I presented my confirmation email for 8 people but he was so rude and disrespectful and didn’t want to listen anything from us and didn’t give us the keys for the rooms. So, at 11:15 we had to walk out and find another hotel for the night. All kids were sleepy and tired, we’re so frustrated to have that type of treatment from the property owner. I still have the proof of my booking that I got in email and it was for 8 people. I won’t recommend this property to anyone.
- Robert (7/5): Good - Easy access to room from parking lot
- Charles (2/5): Front door didn’t lock and a spider was in the corner of the shower - Dirtiest place I’ve ever slept. And I’m in the military Door could lock.
- Galen (8/5): Very good - friendly staff
- John (9/5): The room was very clean and well maintained. - The owners were very understanding and accommadating.
- Rey & Aimee (6/5): - The room was all we needed it to be- beds were ok, but tidy. Bathroom toilet gurgled all night. Front desk staff was very friendly and even let us borrow a heater to get the room warmed up faster. That was very kind.
- Chad (1/5): Very rude and obnoxious - Location The old man owner
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Haddad (8/5): Very good -
- Anna-Maria (10/5): - No coffee available in the rooms particularly when they don't serve breakfast until 7:30am which is kind of late for folks leaving earlier. The rooms could definitely use an update particular the bathroom which I found was unpleasant.
They do not leave the outside lights on which made me feel uncomfortable and difficult getting to my car.
- Nick (8/5): - Much better than expected for the price. Very basic but everything works and is clean. Outside areas are VERY well lit and feels safe. Will definitely stay here again.
- Jill (6/5): - the property is very old and very bare bones basic, but they keep it clean . it's cheap and it's a warm bed but that's about it. the owners are very nice
- Virgil (5/5): Passable - The heat worked. Lowest price I could find. The man running the place was nice. This was a old cheap place. A key lock, small room, smelled like smoke but I did not request smoking. Loud highway traffic. Even at 102$ it was over priced
- Ani (2/5): Even though the location was good, I would not stay there again. - Near the fair Room smelled and toilet wasn’t working
- Thomas (5/5): Only good for an overnight stay. - Bread and cereal...that's it. Oh there was coffee. McDonald's across street. Parking a tad sporty.
- Karen (10/5): - Staff was very helpful. The room was clean. I had no complaints
- Antol (10/5): Exceptional - Convenience to the turnpike, restaurants, fuel, shopping. Nothing
- Erin (7/5): Good -
