Guest Reviews
- sumeet (10/5): - Breakfast is worth in morning. Fast dood around building and car rental is behind building. Perfect location staff is very friendly.
- Sunesh (10/5): Nice - Over all the experience was nice
- Simon (8/5): - For the value a very good hotel. Friendly staff and a 15 minute walk to the metro or a 5 minute bus ride. Limited restaurants but the small restaurant next door great value for both eating in and take out.
- Bina (2/5): Do not use this hotel - We stayed for two and 4 nights and hotel was in poor condition with poor lighting, safe did not work, cabinets were broken, fridge was missing, curtains were torn, there were roaches and small insects, many issues. Staff was friendlier, overall poor rating
- Firas (6/5): - The staff were the only positive parameter
- Maryan (8/5): - I don’t like but this chapter one in this time
- alan (4/5): Not the star rating it is set at - Nice staff, smells of cigarettes and aircon is set too hot.
- Sanjeev (8/5): - The restaurant next door is really good and well priced. The Spa is good too.
- Ahmed (6/5): - فندق بسيط
- Davinder (2/5): - Rooms smell of smoke and full of cigarette butts outside the windows
- Firas (4/5): - The only good thing about the hotel is the staff.
- Juan (8/5): - It works for the price. It just had a few things that weren’t a big deal but there were quite a few. There was construction with loud noise across the street, not all the lights worked, and it’s not the best location for transportation. However, I did like how friendly the staff was. They did everything to make sure I was taken care of.
- Martin (8/5): - A great hotel if you make an business trip.
- Shan (10/5): Good - It was a good weekend stay. The staff are really polite and helpful especially Mr. Shane and Mr. Naina in the reception. I would recommed this hotel to my friends. It is economical and clean with free parking as well. Good job 👍
- Ryan (4/5): - I ignored the low rating this hotel had, thinking it will be fine as it is a 4 star in Dubai. But it really was below average. Check in only took cash, so i had to go out walking looking for a machine while i was tired. The hotel laundry wanted cash too. And when i asked could i pay at check out they told me no. Back out walking to the machine. My room was claustrophobic and not in great condition. Things like the smoke alarm was just placed on the table next to a square hole which the wiring went into. The staff were not rude or unfriendly but i did have to make follow up calls to reception, asking where things were that i had previously asked for. There was a very strong floral smell in the dark suffocating corridors, as if they were covering a worse smell. The room was pretty cheap though and I think if this hotel was a 3 star then i would consider the quality more acceptable
- Nasser Saeed (2/5): - It wasn't up to the expectations
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was fine, A/C was cool, did not use room service or restaurant, a couple of snags: Wifi allows only 1 login at a time, no proper chair in the room, only low & wide lounge chair.
Good value for money overall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again - Very disappointing on everything.
Only bed and bed sheets were good in Tokio room.
- Dave (8/5): - The property itself is fine, staff helpful, bed comfortable, breakfast ok. Room a little bit small, but ok, no hot water without switching heater switch on to warm it up, not great, and the local mosque waking us up at around 5am, not pleased! But overall not too bad.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing amazing ...just its a 2 star hotel not even 3
The rooms so so so small....how come they accept 3 in the room ....the fit one and only one....if you have your bag then you cannot even move inside the room .....
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel was lovely. The staff at the, reception, restaurant, room service, all were more than happy to assist. Never had a problem. I asked for a room change once and within a minute I was taken to see another room, which was better & bigger at no extra charge. The supermarket next door is a god send. Clean rooms everyday and a daily top up of the tea & coffee and water water bottles..!oved my stay there and will definitely be going back.
- Moe (2/5): - Probably one of my worst overall experiences in a hotel.
The staff is rude (which is a surprise since Dubai usually has the best customer service).
There is no sauna as advertised, the steam room was broken, the pool was closed until a sandstorm came and then they opened it and the shisha lounge was closed every time i tried to use it.
There was a sand storm during my stay. I asked them to clean my room but unfortunately there was alot of dust still in the room.
Again the customer service was horrible.
It is extremely deceiving that this hotel has a 4 star rating. I would strongly discourage anyone coming here if they want a good experience in Dubai.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Improved a lot, friendly and fast responsing staff makes the stay amazing
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everyday this hotel improves in all the ways, one day it will be a leading hotel in Dubai
- Verified traveler (6/5): - As usual good hotel, friendly staff, quick service but the only problem is that not being cleaned well, this time bedsheet was dirty when they changed it
- Taan (8/5): - Its not bad in general, very friendly staff, good location in the heart of dubai
- Taan (8/5): - The only bad thing is the cleaning, hotel rooms are not being cleaned well and last time found a used toothbrush and toothpaste
- Taan (8/5): - They don’t clean properly, always i found non cleaned areas in the room and non clean mugs and spoon. Last stay i got shocked when i found that they put a used toothbrush and paste!!!!!!!! Used one
- Ryan (8/5): Home away from Home - Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel regularly since 2016 from when it was 3*, so its been a while.. Always find ourselves back because of the great service especially from reception Pandey and the filipino ladies (sorry if i forget names)who have been around ever since. The staff are all really friendly and helpful actually. The room design is amazing and all different, love the fact it has a bath however water temperature is a big issue as most times you can't get cold water after using the hot water.. Not very far off from main areas in the city which is good in terms of moving around. Food is good and reasonably priced.. TV channels though have always been a issue besides news noo english channels literally.. Wifi isnt great too, rooms maintenance is ok much better now as a 4*. Pool is really small not worth a visit and gym is small too, aswell poorly equipped.. Before it had few restaurant options and a bar whereas now you limited to only 1 however there is 24hr room service. Nevertheless will continue as a regular guest
- Mohammad (8/5): - Rate used to be good before november, affordable and good for short time stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything is great except cleaning and cleaners who don’t clean properly and every time i go there I complain that the room is not cleaned well
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome stay, nice hotel and staff
Friendly and clean
- Lavinia (4/5): - not a good area and very noisy around there , construction going on! plus there is a mosque as well!
the price was good tho, but the breakfast was horrible! is not worth buying it
overall u pay cheap u get cheap
- T (6/5): Close to the airport, in the midst of other hotels - Rooms were small but tidy and clean. VERY reasonable last minute rates. The Restaurant was pretty average, half of the a la carte menu was not available. What food was available was OK though.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Value for money - There are areas of improvement, and it would be great if they consider it.
But on the other hand, it is nice compare to the cost (Good value for money).
- Farzia (8/5): Decent stay if you have a car to roam around - Hotel is not a huge one but it's okay for the amount we paid. Swimming pool is too small, hours are not good for the roof top lounge, they closes at 6pm. Seriously!
Location is not good if you don't have a car. No local restaurant in walk in distance. Interior of the room is nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good - Its nice hotell and quite, have good massage services and not expanceve
- Abdul Majid Bal (2/5): Very Bad Hotel - Room very small
staff at reception very bad hospitality
Breakfast very bad and no choices
I don't like at all
- james (6/5): Get what you pay for. - First of all it is in the middle of a construction site that goes all night. Loud. The desk was very friendly and accommodating when the first room reeked of cigarette smoke they had no problem switching me. Walls are thin. Hallway is loud. Bed is hard. The price is low for a reason but is in line with what you are paying.
- Saeed (6/5): Good - Good
- Khaled (10/5): Recommended - Very nice and smooth
- miguel (10/5): Nice hotel close to everything - Staff very friendly and room service very efficient love it .. I would recommend this hotel to anyone . Enjoy Dubai
- KHALED (6/5): Very basic place - Stayed 5 days and found it very basic,it reminded me with motels some 20 years back.
Breakfast was terrible, and swimming pool was too small like a jaccuzi and was not open for use till 10.00 AM although sign on door states working hours from 09.00 AM.
- Dinesh (8/5): Better improve communication - They should better communicate with customer . Told us free pickup service at closest metro , when we call for pick up , thay said oh should let us know three hour ahead, was so hot and painful to reach hotel since no experience in Dubai for first time.
- Jiaolong (8/5): Nice hotel - nice hotel to stay, far from city center and no restaurants around the hotel area, internet is a headache in the room. Staffs are very friendly and helpful also. Offer complimentary shuttle bus to nearby metro station al jadaf. Overall is good !!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Close to metro - Hotel staff very friendly and professional . Room nice and clean
- Mario (6/5): Disappointed - Service is not good, ask for small towels never had, ask for power adapter never had, washroom not well cleaned
- Verified traveler (6/5): Construction Zone - Nice rooms a bit small but the room service was great and the food was better than expected
- aamer (6/5): Isolated area - Should have transport means to move anywhere from hotel
- Matt (6/5): Nice looking hotel but... - Hotel looks nice. Check in was good with a helpful staff member. Room was a little small. No towels were in the room and it needed a bit of a decent clean, including getting rid of stray hairs on the sheets and floor and a rude and mostly indifferent receptionist all mean that we wouldn't stay here again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Horrible hotel - unfriendly staff, rooms didnt have towels or tissues, the house keeping line is always so had to go downn to the lobby to ask for towels. rooms for tiny and suffocating and they didnt have any tooth brushes so wasnt able to brush my teeth at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I would never go again! - That was the worst hotel service i have ever experienced,
The recipsionist don't know her name ( phillipine girl) she has a very bad way speaking with guests
Never listen
The GM also never listen
The houskeeping is even worse ,
I booked for 2 nights
After the first night
I left the room for the whole day and came afternoon
I was surprised that the room wasn't clean!! I didn't mark the room as do not disturbe or anything!!! When i called the housekeeping they didn't even appologise!
And addition to all this there is no AC in the elevetor!!! The rooms also when you switch off the AC you cannot handel the hot wether within 2 minutes,
Normally hotels are designed to preserve the cold wether in the room and no need to turn on the AC the whoole day and night!!
- Jay (2/5): Secluded Hotel - The hotel looks nice online and its not that old, I believe built in 2012. The hotel was dirty: the floors made my socks stink and turn a blackest smoke color, which means the floor is dirty. The smell was bad, the walls were dirty and cracking along the edges, the bathroom was dirty. The hotel is more than walking distance from the metro station, which I found out the hard way.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dont book it by looking at photoes - Torn bedsheets, no coffee sachet and no stirrers
When i ask for coffee, they told me no stock. Room stinks.
Small room and far from city. Very bad service, everything was bed, terrible experience staying
- pendse (8/5):
- As we were reaching after 11 PM ,we informed the hotel reservation desk in charge and accordingly I got confirmation message from him. As flight was delayed ,we reached the Hotel at 1.30 AM ,and surprised to note that room was allotted in less than 5 minutes.
Room service and complimentary Breakfast was excellent.
We enjoyed the stay. The only problem is local transport. U have to depend. on Metro ,which is about 1 km from hotel or u have to spend on taxi.
However there was drop facility from hotel to metro.Only on return journey u have to walk for about 15 minutes.
- Shahid (4/5): Very Bad Location - Very Far and Under Construction. Hotel is just ok
- Sumeet Raj (8/5): Good Hotel for the amount paid! - Nice, Pretty high tech hotel. Neighborhood is still in the development phase so there is construction going on everywhere.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Only recommend to someone you hate - Regular traveler to Dubai want stay in this hotel at any cost.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice Hotel and close to airport and Dubai Mall. - 20 AED to/from airport and also 20 AED to the dubai mall
- Ahsan (8/5): A different Hotel - rooms are conveniently designed & equipped.
- faisal (2/5): This hotel shouldn't be on any hotel website - I and my Girl friend decided to stay in that hotel b-cuz of rating and room cleanliness as it shown in pictures....but when i get in al jaddaf station train was empty even at 12 pm and when we look out side no taxi and it was totally desert and construction area plus no shopping mall around it...when we get enter in that home any indian or paki male receptionist treated us like he is so busy even though it seems no one is staying in that hotel and treated us like we are made of wood and asked us to wait till 2 pm so i can give u room.... come on your hotel's mostly rooms are empty...we requested to not give us paris yellow colour room and expedia confirmed new york style room.. but that hotel give us yellow coloured room ... room was so small that only one man can walk and other have to get into bed to give other one way... mini bar was without any product in it and it wasn't working well..and wind sound was horrible... i guess cuz no building around that hotel...hotel staff rude and useless...and in that area u would hardly see any human...don't try this hotel believe me
- Not Provided (6/5): Dusty and Construction with Noise all around - The hotel surrounding is very poor and dusty for now. Excellent and friendly helpful staff
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rooms are very small, although the hotel is almost new, the room looked very old. Wifi was very bad and couldn't work from the hotel. Reception was friendly but seemed inexperienced. Good rate if you are just planning to sleep.
- Sandeepkumar (8/5): Perfect place for people who likes no disturbance - No disturbance, quite & calm place to sleep and take rest.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best Stay :) - I will definitely go back.
- honest friend (2/5): Not close to anything but airport - Hotel staff is very rude!!! My friend spent the night the called me @ 12:30 am to come down and get another room for my guest 210 dirham. Then worked me down to 100 but no room they said now it's ok for ur guest to stay in ur room. I guess it was super important to wake me up to tell me because I was gonna skip town ( sarcasm). No visitors what kind of rule is this. I guess they did me a favor. You can try to be like Americans but try getting some customer service skills, in which case the 'hotel is always right' .
- Glenn (8/5): Functional, clean, friendly, perfect for overnight - If you have a one-night layover in Dubai, I highly recommend this hotel. It's about 12 minutes from Dubai International. For the price, it can't be beat. The rooms are decidedly small, but the balconies are big. The staff is great at summoning a taxi to go to other parts of the city, sightseeing, etc. And if you want to stay away from the fray, this is the place.
- Kamru (6/5): Personal opinion - OK
- Mersalalshammar (2/5): - Very bad
- PARIS (2/5): Horrible stay - Not good. Was just for a lean-over, prior to our departure. But was horrible. Rooms are very tight and advertised space is not accurate.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overall, nice. - Pool is small. Asked for a baby cot and was given one with a huge hole in the side. Lots of construction going on around the hotel. But the view is nice... The pool is on the rooftop, view from there is also nice. However, the pool is tiny. The New York theme was okay, nothing much, just the wallpaper.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not in a Good Location - The Hotel is new, rooms are small. It took me 3 hours to get a taxi last night to the Hotel as the Hotel is in a secluded environment. No buildings yet beside the hotel and very far from city center. I wouldn't advise the hotel for tourists.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room wasn't ready. Noisy - could hear traffic all day and all night
- M (2/5): Unforutnate Stay in Reflections Dubai.
- As we booked at the last minute we didn't check and trusted Expedia to book us in a reasonable Hotel.
The Hotel was not completely ready. The power line kept going off. Every day/night when we returned to the room we had to call in and get the repairman to come and fix it.
Not a good location either and with nothing close by.
I won't recommend it to anyone.
Regards
- Taqdis (6/5): Fair not upto mark of three star - Room size was very small. Hot water was not continuous and towels were not changed. We had to ask for change of towels.. WiFi was very weak . Buffet didn't had many choices of dishes. Overall not a good experience.
