Guest Reviews
- Lynn (9/5): Safe, clean, good! - Safe & clean Nothing
- JOEL (7/5): - noisy refrigerator in room
- Marjorie (7/5): -
- Robert (10/5): -
- Spady (8/5): - Guest house has been there a long time and yet it's clean, smells good and is very adequate for a night's stay. Thank you Not much. It's a clean older small town hotel. Just fine for a quick stay
- Robert (8/5): -
- Michael (7/5): - Our room was facing a buzy street.
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional - As expected All good
- Jay (10/5): - Fine value
- Sharon (7/5): - Very large room.. The beds were on the firm side..The refrigerator made a loud noise during the night and had to unplug it.
- Kathryn (6/5): - The room smelled a little stale and a little like a smoker had stayed there before us. The window to the outside was unlocked when we entered the room. But we slept well, the shower had great pressure, the room was clean and the staff was friendly.
- Rhonda (6/5): - Pet friendly. Clean rooms.
- Terri (5/5): Location only. - Convenience to family. Staff we did see was nice. Saw them at check-in & out. Air conditioner smelled horribly of mildew.
We stayed 3 nites. Tried to book by phone, they told us they were booked - so we booked on-line. There were 3 cars max, in the parking lot, the entire time.
- James (8/5): - Clean safe and friendly. Basic no big ammenities
- Iris (6/5): - Service friendly
- Verified traveler (6/5): Had to dash but decent hotel - It’s an older motel looked nice inside, location seemed good, close to stores and 12-15 mins from airport. Bed was good. Looked like a flash back to the 80’s - 90’s vibe.
- Douglas (8/5): - Had to jiggle the toilet handle to make the toilet flush work
- Kimberly (10/5): - Very nice staff and very clean room.
- Dawg (10/5): Easy - Reasonably priced, clean, no frills, motel, with an ice machine.
- Harold W Thornton (8/5): Guest House - All in all an decent place, it's in a small town. There aren't any bells and whistles but it was clean and they were helpful. The beds were very hard, so a little discomfort there. But for the price it was good.
- Maria (10/5): -
- lori (4/5): No sleep - Power was out and alarms in hallway sounded all night. Could not sleep. Finally got up and went to vehicle at 3 am
- Peterson (9/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): Our stay was as expected. The hosts accommodated our need for first floor room as there is no elevat - There was no breakfast with the room.
- Lynne (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (2/5): Very poor - Way too expensive for what is offered. Stinky with uncomfortable bed and pillows.
- Kelly (4/5): - About what expected but bed was comfortable.
- Gary (6/5): - The bed was terrible.
- Ann (10/5): - Everything was very nice.
- Lorayne (9/5): Just what I needed for the night I was in town. - I didn't realize that this hotel didn't have an elevator and my original booking was for the second floor. I was in town for a foot surgery and couldn't really navigate the stairs comfortably. The check in staff kindly accommodated me in a ground floor room, even though it had a broken air conditioner. I was pleased with this compromise. Air conditioner could have worked :)
- Mark (8/5): - No breakfast offered
- Keily (9/5): Superb -
- Gabriel (10/5): - Very nice staff and room was a nice size and comfortable.
- Mary (10/5): Rooms are as pictured - Very clean. We were in a room facing a busy road. And the mattress was very firm, which I happen to like.
- Dana (3/5): Poor - The staff was nice The whole motel had a stench about it.. And the vending machines didn't work.
- Desumma (2/5): Very poor -
- Thomas (7/5): Comfortable good location meeting my needs. - Ground floor room access. Easy and quick temperature adjustment. Outlet by desk nit working.
- Sandy (10/5): - Good value for the price
- Dietrich (6/5): - I booked a Room with two Queen Beds. I arrived and they gave me a Room with one queen bed for three people. We checked in a little early and got charged extra 30 Dollars and another 10 Dollars for the extra Bed. This was totally wrong. I would never stay there again. I could of stayed in a Hilton Hotel for that Price.
- DONA (4/5): - Would not recommend this motel! We stayed one night for OSAA high school softball games in the local area and the reviews seemed OK till we got there. Booked a King bed room and almost walked out once we looked inside. Room was good sized but VERY outdated. The mattress was super hard and and you could hear the innersprings vibrating when you moved upon it. There were only two very small pillows and one had dried blood drops on it There was dried what I think was Pepsi soda dripping down the wall at the bathroom vanity area. The shower towels were very thin (only got two) and tattered at the edges. There was a 3/4 inch open gab under the room door to the hallway which you could easily slide a cell phone under. The view from the room's window was the backyard of a house that was full of trash and debris..plus the lady resident was kind enough to start yelling and fighting with another person around 2am for everyone to hear. In other words....the housing immediately behind the property is super sketchy. The one positive was that the front desk staff were very friendly.
- Ray (8/5): Very good -
- Danny (8/5): Clean, safe, rv parking - Staff is awesome, room was clean. The bed was hard. Doable for 1 night but hard on old bones
- Melissa (10/5): - Beds were very comfortable. Very spacious room size and the shower was amazing. The only down side is ice machine was out of order and pillows were super hard. However I take my own pillow everywhere. Would definitely recommend!!!!
- Moran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peggy A. (8/5): - I liked the staff, and the location was good to get to the airport. It was an older building; outside could have used some new paint or a good pressure wash. It was clean inside; it was an older hotel. I would stay again.
- David (10/5): - Fine for an overnight stay. Very dated.
- Gaenz (9/5): Good Ol' JC - Comfortable. Understanding staff. Good amenities. Vents in air conditioner/ heater were a bit dirty.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Game weekend in Eugene AND Corvallis so all of the usual hotels were super $$. Had an event in junction City, this was close. Big gap under door (3/4"-1") meant we could hear everything in the hall including phone calls and sports teams coming and going both late (after 11:30) and early (6:30 or so). Room was old but clean, some wallpaper edges coming loose. Otherwise okay.
- Erik (8/5): - Staff is friendly and accommodating. We arrived before check-in time and they let us in. Looks like they recently updated the walls, ceilings & floors but much of the decor looks like it’s from the ‘50s. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work (not uncommon, unfortunately) but everything else was functional.
- John (4/5): - Rooms by the highway are unbearable
- Sharon (6/5): - The staff were very nice. The room was very spacious, has hard floors and was pet friendly. There were no real amenities, just a vending machine and an ice machine. The property is old, the decor outdated, the bathroom grout was old and the shower head very low.
- Blair (7/5): Stayed there after an Oregon football game, when rooms in Eugene were limited and grossly overpriced - Staff at reception were friendly, room was clean, bed was firm (comfortable), room was quiet Only uncomfortable part of stay were the pillows
- Shelby (4/5): - Sadly we booked 4 rooms in this hotel for a family wedding. I was "coming home" and was very disappointed that the rooms were in such disrepair for the kids. My adult children had some of the other rooms and one had plumbing issues my daughter had to fix herself with no help from the front desk and there were bugs in another room. I booked the hotel in junction city because I am from there and wanted to support a local business, but next time we Will commute from Eugene, north gate area, or Corvallis instead 😞
- Deborah (7/5): Good -
- Richard (8/5): - Rooms were clean and adequate room space. Hotel is old and outdated. No breakfast and no elevator to 2nd floor. Beds uncomfotable and noisy in the evenimg hours
- Robert (4/5): - This property was in a good location, but no breakfast, but we knew this, bed was hard and noisy like old and squeaky the room was clean, pillows were hard and uncomfortable and only two of them, the check in was good and friendly the check out was ok did not ask if I needed a receipt or email but friendly
- RANDY (6/5): - The property failed in only one area, but it was critical. The pillows are so thick and firm, it was impossible to get comfortable with them. I had to stuff towels in a pillow case to try to get comfortable. It helped, but when something spoils the most important element-- a good night's sleep-- it's hard to give a place a good rating. If you stay here, bring your own if possible.
- Gayanne (9/5): Guest House review - I feel safe when staying here. The room is clean and staff are friendly. Higher priced option in Junction City. The bed was harder than I like.
- Tonya (2/5): - We’ve stayed there dozens of times after the late time Ducks games, but they tried to charge me for 4 rooms and I booked 2. Basically called me a liar and we won’t be back. They ended up selling the other 2 rooms and I said why would I need 4 rooms for 2 couples?
At 11:30 pm she was still questioning us and saying I booked 4. Maybe Expedia messed up but she was insistent that I booked 4. At that hour we just wanted a bed to sleep on for a few hours.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This property is quite old. It’s clean enough but bolster pillows were ripped and wallpaper had stains and trim was peeling in areas in the room.
- John (10/5): - I love Guest House Inn very friendly people and excellent staff
- Elizabeth (5/5): Passable -
- Gail (6/5): My purposes were served and I'm pleased with the stay. When we need to be in the area, we will stay - I needed to visit Junction City and the Guest House Inn provided a place to stay. It's clean and convenient. There wasn't any sitting space where a few of us could convene.
- Rick (7/5): Accommodations were ok . Rooms were clean - no breakfast Rooms are old but clean The only reason we stayed in Junction city and the comfort inn was its about
15 min to the airport and we had a early flight
- Kathryn (10/5): Good - Location Soda machine didn’t work
- Mike (6/5): - Probably a lot of truckers stay there. Not dirty, but not overly clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Outdated
Served its purpose though. Wouldn't stay there again.
- Toni (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean room and hotel, convenient to the airport.
- Castle-taylor (7/5): Good - It was fair for the need of location. The room was mostly clean. The staff was very friendly. The bathtub trip lever was worn and did not hold water well, nor drain properly.
- John (10/5): - It was a pleasant stay complete with privacy, quiet, safe surroundings.
- Ron (6/5): It will do. - The only reason we stayed there was because it was walking distance from my son’s home. Over priced for the location. But, it did feel clean. For an older hotel, I’m glad they did not have carpet the vinyl felt cleaner. Not the friendliest of staff.
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Pegi (8/5): - The bed was hard. The sheets were scratchy on my skin. No breakfast.
But it was quiet and staff was very friendly.
- Christy (8/5): - The room was large and clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The property is older and no frills, but it is fine and I would stay again
- Donna (4/5): - Just a place to rest you head. Nothing fancy. Very spacious room. We had the double queen. The bathroom smelt funky, and stale. The floor are updated, no carpet. The coffee is awful, but there is a little coffee stand right across the street.
- Jason (5/5): Passable -
- John (1/5): Bad - Location to pick up trailer Everything
- Douglas (10/5): - convienent
- George (8/5): For a small metro area it was suitable. In larger areas, nicer hotels for same cost. -
- Sara (8/5): Very good -
- Chad (10/5): - It was convenient for a quick weekend trip. Beds were comfortable.
- Devon (10/5): - O
- Y (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (8/5): - Safe and clean older hotel. Big rooms could use new towels and bed linens. But reasonably priced, quiet and comfortable.
- Patti (4/5): Disappointing - The property and town are very tired. The folks running the hotel keep it clean, but it could use some updating.
- Laurie (10/5): - It was great to be able to bring our dogs with us while we were traveling.
- Nancy (5/5): It was a place to stay a night with a bed. - The location was convenient. The heater worked well and fast. The bed was comfortable. The toilets were far too low. They were the size you find in a Kindergarten class. The floors were plank and had no rugs on them. They were cold.
- Kellen (4/5): - While the staff were kind, the room itself was moldy/musty and smelled like it. The area around the window wasn't clean and there was visible mold on the upper window sill. It did not give me a good overall feeling being in that space.
- Roger (4/5): - Hotel and room was dated and musty smelling
- Debra (8/5): - Staff was very kind. Facility was very clean, just needed a little updating.
- Rebecca (4/5): You get what you pay for…☹️ - Close to Eugene Airport. Price but you get what you pay for… Front door entry security door worked poorly. Bed was horrible. Refrigerator in room was loud and made loud bank when turning off.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Very clean and nice. Comfortable large bed. TV remote worked and channel line up provided. No elevator.
- Bob (5/5): Passable -
- Beverly (7/5): Would stay here again. - Considering there was an ice storm that day, I'm thankful there was a room available for a great price, compared to other motels around the area. The room was clean and functional, there was heat and hot water to shower. Great value for the location. It was slightly out of the way from the main highway, took us 30 minutes to get there in icy conditions. No easy access in and out of the area.
- Gayanne (8/5): Very good - Spacious, well cared for, clean Hard bed, towels need replaced
- Mark (7/5): It’s a good rest, stop, so I don’t have to get up early in the morning to drive in from the coast to - Convenience of the location & friendly staff Ice machine does not work. It was not working when I stayed here about a year ago.
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Good location. Easy check in, check out. Bed was hard. No breakfast.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
