- Leonste (2/5): Everything bad except the location - Good location near the inner harbor area. - Breakfast had no scrambled eggs at all and when asked staff said it will come out soon. Even half an hour later there was noe eggs in sight. In general the breakfast is very dissappointing - The sheets had small holes in them and looked rather old - Expensive Valet (39USD per night) -> Pro Tip: There is a garage around the corner that cost 5USD per Night - Front desk: Ordered a Pizza delivery to the hotel. The pizza was delivered to the front desk but they didn't bother to call me nor store the pizza in a safe space it was just placed in the lobby. When I asked them if they received a delivery for me they just pointed to the pizza box in the middle of the lobby, so they knew.
- Blake (3/5): Stafff was nice hotel could use some work. - I not only liked but absolutely loved the location of the hotel. So, close to little Italy, while still close to the water and Whole Foods, and many great restaurants. The staff was very nice and me and my wife had an awesome time. I had a few things I did not enjoy with the hotel, I first off was told that they complimentary upgraded my room, when not only was I in the room I booked and paid for, it also was not on the top floor like I paid extra for. The other thing that was a major problem the first day we stayed there is we had no A/C in the room. The other thing that was a common problem as I viewed a few other rooms on my way to the elevator that the room door did not actually fully close when you let the door go. You had to rekey in with your room card and pull the handle down and pull shut. When my wife and I came home the room door was fully unlocked and unlatched. The other problem that occurred during my visit is that you had so many individuals sitting on your benches outside your entrance smoking marijuana, cigarettes, and drinking alcohol in brown paper bags and red solo cups. The whole area smelled like weed and cigarettes. With a $430 bill for 2 nights in a hotel I would never have expected to have any of this happen let alone all these things. It was totally a waste of money. I would have much rather stayed outside of the city and driven in each day.

- Sharon (5/5): Not worth the money, old outdated, extremely tiny pool - Breakfast was mediocre and the little bar was pretty decent. Hotel is outdated and expensive for what all comes with it. Wouldn’t stay here again, you have to make reservations for the pool which is not told to you at booking or on the website. There is no open pool. You have to make reservations to get in the pool and the sheet in which the reservations work is horrible. The sign up sheets get lost, they loose track of whose signed up and its a mess. During our 3 day stay we were only able to get in the pool once. Parking is astronomically expensive. Hotel food not that great. Customer service was horrible and facilities is old and outdated. Had a leak in our room and had to be moved after they could confirm that it was an actual leak coming from the roof.

- Trina (8/5): Overall we enjoyed staying here. - The staff is exceptionally nice!! The GM was super welcoming and friendly. We did not encounter a single staff member who didn’t greet us in some way. Definitely a plus!! Rooms are decent, bring pillows if you normally sleep with big ones. Breakfast was good, plenty of options. The rooms are a little on the warm side. Pool is super small and the chlorine is very strong. You have to make a reservation to swim. Not really a highlight for the hotel.

- Kimberlee (7/5): Nice stay, stupid pool “rule” - The room was a good size and very clean. We loved the views from the large windows. It was very close to a lot of things. The guy who was doing valet the days we were there was very kind and helpful. My girls were looking forward to going to the pool. We booked a hotel with a pool specifically. They talked about it the whole 7 hour drive. At check-in, we were informed we had to ‘sign up’ for the pool and that everything was full for the night into the next evening (at the time we already had an event to go to)…so we didn’t get to utilize the pool at all and they were disappointed. I find that annoying and if we would have known beforehand that we could not freely use the pool, I would probably have booked elsewhere.

- virginia (4/5): No lo aconsejo - Nada. Hotel muy descuidado, le falta limpieza y mantenimiento, para ser un Hyatt, parece un motel. Muy caro para la calidad del alojamiento. Además de lo comentado, que es un hotel de antes de la guerra, el sofá estaba sucio, con muchas manchas, la moqueta, el baño era del siglo pasado. El desayuno era de muy muy mala calidad. Lo único que estaba bueno era el agua. No fruta, no yogures, nada de nada. Beacon y huevina. No volvería a hospedarme tenía muchas esperanzas de un bonito alojamiento y ha sido un fracaso muy caro.

Wir konnten in unsere Zimmer um 19 Uhr erst einchecken, da sie mit der Reinigung nicht fertig waren. Wir waren kein Einzelfall. Duscharmatur war defekt und musst erst repariert werden.

The overall room and area was clean but the mold to me was unacceptable, also the noise level was really high and the he pungent smell of marijuana was unbearable. I left with a very bad headache. I love Hyatt as I’m a member but this particular one could use some work . The customer service was great

The staff here were always very kind & welcoming. The hotel is very clean. I have to travel to Baltimore for work & this is my hotel for these trips.

- Bridget (4/5): I felt the staff didn't have much training in safe evacuations. This is important in today's world. - Children traveled with us and had specifically booked for the indoor pool. It was closed. After 8 pm-and everyone in pj's an announcement and fire alarm came on stating to evacuate the building.In the lobby were babies,children,old folks. There was no communication whatsoever, for us, as to what happened-where to go or when to return to our room. When we did return we could not use the elevator-felt bad for the older folks who may be unable to navigate steps well-unsure if they were offered assistance. It was quite unsettling and scary-especially for the kids.
- O2203EKjoec (6/5): Nice facilities and rooms, check-in process less than satisfactory - I requested a room near the elevator on my reservation and was stashed away on top floor about as far from the elevator as it gets. No recognition of this during check-in process. Also, for business travel I put room charge on corporate card and incidentals on personal CC. Charging room to corporate card requires some coordination in advance, i.e. faxed CC authorization, a call ahead to make sure the paperwork is complete, etc. Upon checking in I repeated myself multiple times which card was for what charge, and it was still mishandled. Not the end of the world and my personal CC was refunded, but it is annoying how many times I repeated the request, the front desk looked at me and indicated their comprehension, my corporate TA went through the effort to fax over a CC authorization which the Hotel completed, but still charged the wrong card :(

- KLEGreen (2/5): Hoping for Resolution – Disappointed in Lack of Flexibility - I recently booked a 12-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor through the Hyatt app and unintentionally selected a prepaid, nonrefundable rate. As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately contacted the hotel to request assistance. I fully understand that nonrefundable rates come with restrictions. However, given the length of the stay (12 nights totaling over $4,000) and the fact that I reached out promptly, I was hopeful there might be some flexibility — whether in the form of a partial refund, a credit toward a future stay, or the ability to modify the reservation. I also escalated the matter through Hyatt Corporate Guest Services and communicated directly with hotel management. While I was told the situation would be reviewed, I did not receive follow-up communication, and my request was ultimately denied. I value the Hyatt brand and have always associated it with strong customer service. I’m sharing this review in hopes that someone from the property might reconsider the circumstances and work toward a reasonable solution. I would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to resolve this matter in a way that reflects Hyatt’s reputation for guest care.
- michaellX3478UP (2/5): Staff and cleanliness - Hotel room was dirty! Cleaning staff knocked on the door to ask when we were checking out at 9:45am- when do not disturb was on the handle! Called staff to turn heat on in the pool- they said “ my pleasure” - but no one ever arrived! Staff at check in could care less that you are staying at the hotel!
- Travelinglizarded (8/5): Great night sleep, great food, nearby, easy access to the train station. - Great hotel, great neighborhood for walking to food places and harbor. This is the first hotel. I’ve stayed in where I have not found hairs in the bed in the bathroom in the towels in the sheets. The cleaning was superb. The blackout curtains worked, and it was a delightful night Sleep. The front desk crew was very helpful until I needed assistance with an allergy and the feather pillows. The breakfast was very good, offering all sorts of variety for finicky food choices. I was there for a class, the conference room was freezing and didn’t have any heat and nobody seemed to be able to adjust it to fix that. I honestly think the AC was on and nobody in the hotel could figure that out to switch it to heat. They should’ve at least offered us blankets and space heaters since there wasn’t another conference room to move to.

- alanwK3553HG (10/5): A great hotel for a short or long term stay. - My wife and I began regular trips to Baltimore after our son, who moved to Baltimore in 2014, was married. Those trips increased after our first grandchild was born. As we have loads of World of Hyatt points, we chose the Hyatt Place Inner Harbor to stay. The location is excellent with a Whole Foods a block away and many restaurants in walking distance. Fells Point is a seven minute walk. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is more than accomodating. We usually stay between 10--14 days so the breakfast can get old after a while but there are breakfast alternatives in walking distance. On several trips we rented an apartment through Airbnb or a corporate apartment rental servics. While the locations were excellent, the furnishings left much to be desired. We found that by requesting a microwave, we could may the Hyatt Place almost as functional. From Charles, the parking valet, to Micah, the manager, everyone at the hotel always makes us feel like a welcome guest.

- Stevenson (1/5): - One lady was nice at front I didn't like the extra fees that I had to pay even though I already paid I didn't like that we couldn't use the pool which is the whole reason that we went I didn't like the way the whole wrecked the whole everything was wrong
- U1984CWmelissal (4/5): Not a good experience - The location was convenient. The atmosphere was ok. My issue was the room. The light in the sitting area was not working in my room. I requested a late cleaning, and no one came. I heard noises in the vents both nights. I was not sure what it was at first and then I realized it was mice running in the vents. I reported the issues to the staff and there was no follow-up. I tried to contact a manager at the hotel and still waiting for a response.

- Ian (7/5): Not great value for money - Excellent downtown location. I didn't feel it was value for money, though that is perhaps coming from a European perspective. The breakfast was mediocre and the use of disposable plates and utensils also a turn-off. The room itself was fine, though the "view" - mostly a large wall about 10 metres from the window - left a good deal to be desired.
