• Luis (6/5): - The hotel is hard to find as Google took us to the wrong area. When we got to our room and turned on the lights in the bathroom, several cockroaches scattered, so not the best nights sleep worrying about the roommates.
• Maluy (10/5): Spacious luxurious stay near Mérida - Good location between Mérida and Tren Maya train station. This restored colonial house has a great pool, in a tranquil setting and is surrounded by fruit trees that help make breakfast delicious.

• Nola (10/5): - Beautiful Hacienda with lovely grounds and friendly owner. Pool was great. Room was luxurious and I felt like a Princess for a day. I do recommend bringing plenty of your own water and some food, especially if arriving late and to tiered to go back out and look for some, but if not the owner can order you a rather good pizza from nearby. In any event, treat yourself to a stay here!

The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was delightful. The owners are so gracious and welcoming Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat is an enchanting and relaxing place to stay. It's almost a must to have a car if staying here but if not uber and trici taxis are available to keep you mobile.

The one tiny minor thing I would improve is the shower head in our bathroom, it needs to be fixed as it had very little water pressure and water.

El lugar es ideal para descansar, muy tranquilo y con privacidad. La habitación era muy amplia, limpia e iluminada. El desayuno estuvo riquísimo y la atención de la dueña y la familia es excelente, están al pendiente de tus necesidades y se encargan de que tu estadía sea de lo mejor. Excelente para niños. Sin duda volveremos.

A noter qu’il faut compter une grosse demie-heure en bus pour rejoindre le centre de Mérida qui est difficilement praticable en voiture...

• Jason (10/5): A Relaxing Home Away from Home - A nice oasis just outside the hustle-and-bustle of Merida. Once I set the filters for my search criteria the two leading contenders were this place (Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat) vs. the Hampton Inn hotel in Merida. I much rather prefer for spend my money with a local business owner than to throw it at a big international hotel chain. And since I had a car, this was an easy decision. I'm glad I did. Stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. The owner was extremely hospitable and it felt like home. The staff was great, beds comfortable, pool refreshing, ample hot water in the shower and breakfast was quite filling. I would certainly recommend this place to others looking to stay in or around Merida. You won't regret it.

The room was spacious and well decorated. We also had our two large dogs that she was very welcoming to. They loved running around the large property. We also loved the pool and other amenities. • Mauricio (10/5): Unique experience - The personalized attention from the owner makes the experience feels like spending a weekend with family but in a gorgeous small former hacienda that's run by a Canadian couple that have embraced the Mexican tradition of family and they treat every guest as such. This is not the traditional Hacienda experience, this is more than that, it's similar to a B&B experience when on some days the owner will herself fix your personalized breakfast. The place is 2 minutes from highway exit from Merida to Valladolid - Cancún, place in the little town of the same name which is as colorful as any small Yucatecan town, but anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes from big shopping malls and from downtown Merida. Will definitely go back.

• Michael (10/5): Slapen tussen oude stenen - Het verblijf in deze haciënda is verrassend, slapen tussen oude stenen in mooie gerenoveerde kamers. Pure rust en weg uit de hectische wereld van Cancun. De eigenaren van deze haciënda hebben het concept goed begrepen, er is veel hersteld van de glorie van weleer, oude gele en blauwe kleuren overheersen. Een tropische tuin omringt het gebouw en als je ´s ochtends naar buiten kijkt door de enorme ramen kijk je als het ware de jungle in. We gebruikten deze hacienda als uitvalsbasis naar Merida, de Maya cultuur en de Cenotes in de omgeving. Neem een tuk-tuk naar het centro van Kanasin, vlakbij de kerk kun je lekkere taco´s eten.
• mary (6/5): Quiet retreat - This is a charming property with a refreshing pool, a big garden and great breakfast. It's close to the federal highway so it's easy to get on and off without having to drive into Merida. I would recommend this for a relaxed stay. You can see the owner is taking pride in the history of the property and genuinely cares for not only the guests but the employees.

• diana (10/5): Hacienda experience - Quite a find. Really handy location in village on outskirts of central Merida. Lofty rooms and fabulous gardens. Its certainly original if not a little quirky. For a taste of hacienda days of old it was quite fun. Really enjoyed just wish had a little more time! Certainly the best breakfast we had of all our stays in Yucatan with delicious eggs benedict one morning and great pancakes the next. Thats in addition to the usual fruit plate which is a staple.
• patricia (10/5): Best of both worlds - The Hacienda is a short drive from the city of Merida, but it is like an oasis in a small town. Iona and JR made us feel like family, and were so helpful. The Hacienda is like a luxurious step back in time. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the grounds are private and delightful, and the food is outstanding; be sure to try Iona's margaritas. We are heading back there soon!
